I ordered the Chicken Pancit Bihon for lunch and that first bite was instant nostalgia! It reminded me of how my Tita Floring would make it! I have to add it was a very generous serving! I had enough for lunch and to share with my daughter for dinner. But I wouldn’t expect anything less, Filipinos make sure you eat! 😉 The restaurant was cute and welcoming and although I’ve never been to the Philippines, I imagine this is how a restaurant would be over there 😊 ALSO, they have a plethora of different chips, snacks and a freezer stocked with different Filipino foods your could buy. I was sooo excited when I saw they had chicken and vegetable lumpia! I grabbed a pack to buy and the woman working even offered to cooked them for me! I politely declined because I wanted to save them for the weekend. I would be back tonight but they are closed, so I’ll go for lunch tomorrow 😊

Delicious Authentic Filipino Cuisine Our experience was wonderful here! We ordered the Lumpia Shanghai, Ube Taro Boba Tea, Special Pansit Mix & Halo Halo Ice Cream. The lumpia was crispy & hit the spot. The boba tea was a nice blend of ube & taro flavors. The Special Pansit Mix was very flavorful & offered an extremely generous portion that could have fed my whole family. It was our first time trying Halo Halo & we will be ordering it again on our next visit. The atmosphere was nice & calming with some melodic music playing in the background. The waitress was very attentive & kind. The whole restaurant was clean & in great shape. Lastly, we really enjoyed the mini grocery store. We brought back an Ube Cluster for our family & everyone loved it! Overall a great experience, we will be back soon!

Service sucks, they want us leave the place after ordering just because they lack man power and it will take long to get our order. Poor customer service plus not friendly

Went here over the weekend and had a blast! The owners are top notch at seeking feedback, The “Do it all” very Professional Host with the glasses and apparently a smooth Jumpshot gave me and my family a Great experience. There are plenty of Filipino comfort snacks and groceries which can be purchased in the restaurant. I can’t say enough about the way they make you feel like part of the family, kudos to the entire staff. ❤️

We ordered pork bistek, chicken curry, sautéed (ginisang) mongo, and fried milk fish (daing), to go, to eat over the next few days. We ate the chicken curry for lunch today. The food was tasty. The chicken, although cooked, needed a bit more boiling to make it tender. The prices were reasonable. The service is great. Rufa was very welcoming. We shall add comments regarding the other dishes we bought as we eat them.

Went here for lunch- ordered the lechon kawali and the Bicol express - so disappointed in the food- I’m Filipino and I’ve been to many Filipino restaurants - both pork dishes were so dry and inedible it seemed like they just reheated it up - this is a restaurant so it should have been freshly made. I’ve been to other Filipino restaurants and you can tell when the lechon kawali is freshly cooked instead of reheated. The lechon was rubbery - Left hungry and disappointed - wil definitely not come back here again. Plus they don’t have a public bathroom for customers- food was so bad we ended up going next door to the Thai restaurant

Homey feel with food made to order. The wait per dishes was worth it. I could tell that the entrees were meticulously crafted. The lumpia was perfectly crispy. My entree of sweet spaghetti enticed my taste buds. The pancit was perfect texture. I recommend this location.

Great food. Great service. We were really fortunate to have stumbled upon the place. Their delicious food is cooked-to-order and comes with a bowl of rice already. The portions are generous and didn't take long to arrive. The signage outside still says Bahay Kubo, but inside is the big Familya Kusina sign. The place is neat and bright. I liked the display of baked goods that they are selling too - packed ready to-go. Highly recommend their halo-halo for dessert.

Visited Familya Kusina after reading good reviews about it when I searched Filipino restaurants near my area. I was excited to try since reviews were great. We ordered lumpia for appetizer and it was great, 2 for $5. I ordered Chicken Inasal and my husband ordered Chicken Barbeque, both were served with garlic rice and on sizzling plates. Presentation was great but I did not find the Chicken Inasal flavorful enough and chicken seemed very dry. The Chicken Barbeque was nicely prepared too but seemed lacking flavor as well. Like the chicken was not marinated long enough but good thing there was extra BBQ sauce given which added flavor. We ordered Halo- halo for dessert. Nicely served, tasted good but only have limited ingredients-2 kinds of beans, coconut meat strands, nata de coco, rice crispies and ube ice cream.

I finally got to visit this filipino restaurant yesterday. I've been craving some pancit and lumpia. It was delicious 😋. I ordered takeout so while I waited for my order to b cooked the hostess was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely b going back.. I shared my food with friends and they loved it too.

The place is clean and the staff are so kind and helpful. Food we ordered taste so good and in a reasonable cost. We will come back this place every time We visit here in Atlantic City. Oops! We’re here again and heading out there in a minute. By the way we took the food out and stayed at Harrahs.

Very friendly and helpful explaining menu and trying to find something I’d enjoy. I had chicken pancit, also sweet pork. Everything was fresh and super tasty. So ordered New Year’s Eve bundle. All the nurses I work with love Filipino cuisine, especially pancit and Lumpia, can’t wait. Thank you.

I’d like to review this again. This place is wonderful. The staff here are great and the food is out of this world. This place needs more recognition. This restaurant is very unique from other restaurants. It is in its own caliber. If you want to eat a high quality dish, go here. 10/23/22

Best Filipino restaurant in all of South Jersey! Pregnant with twins with raging cravings this restaurant did not disappoint. They came through making sure my every wish was met. They went out of their way to make things possible. Cooked me an amazing meal, got me some deserts to go and were so kind. I and my family will be patrons for life. These are the kind of lasting impressions that make a good restaurant GREAT! Thank you Bahay Kubo.

Great Filipino food. There is always a good selection of food. Their desserts are amazing and very unique. If you have never tried non-supermarket desserts, I definitely recommend calling ahead and ordering. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself appears to be cleaned regularly as well.

If you want authentic filipino food with all the feels then this is your spot! Entire staff is friendly and full of energy. Atmosphere is fantastic and did I say the food was DELICIOUS!!

45 mintues from home, but worth the drive. Great portion sizes, still eating leftovers a couple days later. Sisig was terrific. Sinigang was perfect, not too salty. Staff was very friendly and attentive...even changed the TV channel for our 2 year old.

Love the portion size of the food! Was plenty for 13 people and we had leftovers. I recommend for large parties and I hope to get it again!

You have to give this place a try! Amazing, tasty food. The FoSo is definitely the way to go. You get four amazing meals in one. Also as the wingman I had to try their wings. The Maanghang Wings are Super flavorful with a little kick of spicy. Highly recommend you get those. Randomly pick a dessert because they are all amazing. The turon are carmelized fried bananas , yes they are so good. On top of all the amazing food is an amazing group of people, nurses and healthcare workers, who can not only whip up some delicious food but give back to our community. It's people like them that keep this world moving forward. We need more of these types of people in our community . They are supporting those who need help during this crisis. They don't have to, but they do. Go to Bahay Kubo, get some amazing food, help be a part of a solution and get fat cause the food is that good! So happy to see Filipino restaurants popping up around the country. I travel a lot for work and saw this in the area. As a Filipino our food isn't really represented much in America, but this little place is delicious, authentic and worth it. If you've never tried Filipino food this is the place to do it in the greater Egg Harbor area.

The best food! They never disappoint. I even convinced some very picky eaters to give Bahay Kubo a try. Not to my surprise, they LOVED everything we ordered! Excellent service and excellent food!

I was expecting a typical asian place with average food but the food is great. The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection not dry at all and the bbq meat on a stick was very good. Noodles were above average. Also the homemade dessert(cheesecake) was way better than i expected. And all of this was out on their steam table, can't wait to try their made to order food.

it's got a homey feel to it... the food is really good... they have cheap select filipino grocery items too like chips, canned goods, condiments, etc... oh yeah the macaroons were awesome as well we bought 2 boxes...

I don’t know how this place doesn’t get more 4+ star ratings! This place is soooooo good! If you want something delicious and authentic, try this wonderful place. I called in ahead of time for a pickup and everything was ready when I arrived in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and above all the food was delicious. I recommend for first timers to try the tocilog and two of their egg rolls ! Amazing!
