This place is great! I have had bbq all over the country and nobody has bbq beans like Fat Boys'! They display the local brands of the ranchers that were the original sod busters of Osceola County. It is a history lesson and they have supported local youth sports for decades. GET SOME!

Sliced pork and fried okra were excellent. Service was good. The ribs were not very meaty and the baked beans were undercooked. Sliced beef was chewy, not tender. Unedible. So that's why I gave 3 out of 5 stars.

The food was absolutely horrible the ribs tasted like they were days old and hard. The staff was friendly but the food was horrible a friend of mine ordered a pulled pork sandwich and got a sliced pork sandwich and even the sliced pork was very old and cold. Needless to say what little bit I ate did not stay down long before it came up and it made me sick I do not recommend this place.

Been going to this restaurant since I was in the high chair. Great people and great food. Love this place and love the people. It's my home away from home!!

The food was nasty bland only one server who had to do togos answer the phone seat the door plus run her own food. Poor thing she was trying but it was getting hard on her as the door filled with ppl. The food was dry nasty and please save your time and keep going not worth it

Used to be great, been going for over 30years. Been twice in last two weeks really poor service resulting in warm not hot food, hard toast and long wait. One server for whole restaurant on both accasions, she worked hard but couldn't keep up, not her fault. Suspect new owners who don't believe in good service. Such a shame.

Watched a grown man assault another man, and they kicked the victim out of the building.

They are never really that crowded....thank goodness!! They have great deals on breakfast and throughout the day. Service is good, but sometimes the ladies or lady gets over ran with larger parties that come in and are extremely needy people who are running the server around. These customer should just say what they want from the very beginning and who they are as a customer, like if you are a person who drinks a lot, they will bring out a pitcher for your table! Communication is the key to success!! This restaurant is a great place in a country setting with really good, friendly people inside! Enjoy 😉

I watched a video of staff allowing a man to be assaulted, then asking him to leave like he did something wrong. I'm not sure about the food but I'm from Texas so I'm sure it's nothing to talk about! I don't care about politics, but I do care about bad customer service is unacceptable. Find you a better spot with better people!

Trespassing someone who was assaulted is real classy. vengeance is in the lord and it will come one day

Terrible. A person got assaulted and when the cops got there the manager lied about what the victim did. Disgusting.

Food and service good but a bit dirty.

Lady was nice but the food is absolutely garbage. Gave me my sides in little sauce cups because I ordered to go and the establishment should go to he'll for even calling this bbq no seasoning on anything it was gross

Horrible management I saw a person assaulted while I was eating and the manager removed the person hurt. Shame on this manager. I will never come back as this is scary that she allowed this abuse to happen.

Review from Family Reunion August 2018. We used Fat Boy's Bar-B-Q for our 2018 Family Reunion Picnic and they were awesome. With no family in Orlando to recommend a cater to do our Family Reunion Picnic, I search for Bar-B-Que restaurants and came across Fat Boy's. I read their reviews and decided to reach out to them to see if they could handle our Family Reunion needs for out picnic with Bar-B-Que ribs and Chicken. I contacted them about 6 months before our reunion and spoke to Danielle who was great who help me come up with a menu and gave me some pricing which were very reasonable. I told Danielle I would reach back out to her once we get closer to the reunion. I was very delighted that when it was time to place the order, everything that I discussed with Danielle did not change. They were very helpful with everything and the food was great. My family really enjoyed the ribs and chicken. I would recommend Fat Boy's to anyone looking for some good Smoked Bar-B-Que in Orlando. Wanted to give 4 1/2 STARS but google does not let you do 1/2 stars lol.

We've been customers here for many years, but had most recently noticed a decline. We decided to give them one more try. Sadly we agree with most of the recent reviews. Pros: the server was very friendly, the salad bar was freshly restocked. Cons: the half chicken was very dry, the corn was flavorless. There was only the one server, but the place was almost empty, on a Friday night.

Our orders were taken right away, and the service at this restaurant is fast. We especially enjoyed the friendly restaurant staff as they were most attentive and fun to talk to. Try the corn nuggets here, they are tasty!

This place is… not good. Our waitress however was incredibly kind and seems passionate about the food. We pulled into Fat Boy’s and immediately noticed there was only one car there on a Saturday during meal time. That should have been our first indicator but we decided to give it a shot anyways since it’s a local joint and we love to support local. The waitress seated us quickly and was once again very kind, but she was the only waitress staffed so they obviously aren’t doing big numbers on the weekend (indicator number two). The atmosphere in this place is that of an old school dive-y mom and pop place that you would anticipate to have that down home good eatin’ flavor. That is not the case. I ordered the half chicken with Mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans, and corn bread, my fiancé ordered the combo dinner plate that included a little bit of all of their meats, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and tater tots. Neither of us can speak for the cornbread as neither of us received the cornbread. However as for the rest of the sides, they were some of the most god-awful barbecue sides we’ve ever eaten in our lives (aside from the tater tots, which were very hot and fresh). The Mac and cheese was soggy and bland, the green beans were weirdly stiff and had zero flavor (salt couldn’t even save them), the baked beans were straight from a can and again weirdly stiff. They also serve the sides in what is essentially a sauce cup so you only get about 4 bites of each side. Which honestly… I’m okay with that here with how the food tastes. The meat (if you can call it that) is an abomination. The combo plate was piled high with the most dry and frankly disgusting display of barbecued pork, chicken, ribs, and beef I’ve ever seen in all of my days. I’m convinced this meat was cooked days ago in anticipation for the week and then reheated by Chef Mike R. Wave when the next victim of the day comes in. Wildly enough the roast chicken was piping hot but had dry skin that looked and felt like it had eczema and was completely separated from the meat itself, indicating that it was probably chilling in the fridge drying out for a little while. My fiance never leaves a molecule of barbecue on his plate when we eat at any good joint and for the first time in my life I saw him leave nearly all of his food and sides. Our waitress was so sweet I couldn’t bring myself to tell her how horrible the food was, and we packed up our leftovers (of which there was a LOT of) and promptly threw them away at our next stop. I would also like to mention that I attempted a “dessert redemption” here to see if the chocolate cake was at least decent. I had to hold in a laugh when I was delivered A DRY PIECE OF CAKE as well. There’s not a lick of moisture in this building aside from the sticky tables. The cake was totally flavorless, the color was pale, but the whipped frosting was actually pretty good. Listen to me. I’m a fat chick. I love food. Please don’t come here. It looks cute, it looks like a place that could be your new “secret delicious spot”. It won’t be. Fat Boys BBQ is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to since I moved to central Florida 9 years ago. We spent a little over $50 including the tip and I think I would have rather just eaten the money honestly.

This place was very dated. There was 1 lady doing it all and she did good considering she was alone . The food was not great. We would not go back.

Pretty darn good barbeque! Ribs are perfect as is the brisket! Fries and the chicken (overcooked and mushy) we're a bit of a let down, but overall good!

Food was HORRIBLE 😭. Fries were very soggy and nasty. Cornbread is very dry& stale. What I ordered was not given to me , they messed up my order big time . Wasted $64.00 on garbage 😔. Waste of money and time & gas to drive out there to buy trash.

We stop for lunch and the food was not as the time we where there about a year ago, they need lots of improvement or this place will close in the near future. No comparison to Sony's BBQ.

Stopped in because of the 4-star rating... Terrible mistake. The fried pickles were served less than a minute after ordering and they looked like they were fried last week and microwaved for 30 seconds before coming out, Soggy/mashed and full of grease. The ribs were some is the worst I’ve ever had in my life and their bbq sauce is disgusting. Hate having to leave this review, but after my visit based on the 4-stars I had to issue a true warning to anyone wanting to stop in for Bbq. Try at your own risk! You’ve been warned. You’re welcome!

I live in South Florida and every time I’m anywhere near this area I will drive an hour or two out of my way to have Fat Boy’s barbecue. The best barbecue. And always take containers of their sauce home.

To start the staff makes you feel at home and take great care of their customers. The food comes in large portions for a very fair price. The multiple meals and salad bar we tried all were super fresh with quality ingredients. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The meat seemed reheated. The place was empty. The place needs updating. I understand it’s an old restaurant but you can renovate to make it look cleaner and get rid of that old restaurant smell. This place has untapped potential.

Honestly the worst BBQ iv had. Only 2 other families in their with us. Waitress and hostess was nice and food came out quick but i think it was microwaved, the chicken and ribs were unbelievably dry and just gross. While leaving I overheard some of the employees talking about cockroaches in the back…

We were visitors to the area and wanted to try a real BBQ place. After consulting Yelp, we decided on Fat Boys. Overall, Fat Boys was very good BBQ for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is very old school, clean, and bare bones. Upholstered benches and booth style tables. Pictures of family on the walls and ranch branding symbol plaques on the wall. Plastic fountain cups and banquet plates. Upon entering the restaurant, you can smell the BBQ. We ordered the feast for two which was massive and enough to feed a family of 4. The platter cones with ribs, chicken, sliced pork, sliced beef, smoked turkey breast, beans, coleslaw, corn, and garlic bread and two sodas.The ribs were tender and meaty. The sliced roast beef and turkey was tasty. The chicken was excellent. They have three sauces at the table: hot, sweet, and mild. Sweet was our favorite. What really stood out was the coleslaw and beans - both among the best I have ever had.

First time eating here and everything was great! The food tasted great and was cooked perfectly. Jamie was our server. She was very friendly and attentive to all our needs. We had a party of 13 and she took care of all of us. Prices are very fair for the portions. We were visiting from Ocala as we were attending a religious convention at the Silver Spurs Arena. If you have not tried Fat Boys BBQ please plan on it in the near future!

It's been a WHILE since we ate here. I was elated to food, service, and atmosphere, were as incredible as its been in the past. Our waitress was exceptional and is clearly an asset to Fat Boy's. Keep doing what y'all are doing, and we'll be back for more!

The barbecue here is not what it use to be, the chicken and ribs and pork is very dry, not alot of flavor, it's like they cooked them in the morning and then they sit in an oven all day and dry out.very dissatisfied with what we got this time, time to try and find a better barbecue place to eat.went to get BBQ and was pleasantly surprised, the chicken was moist and not dried out, they have a new person in the kitchen. It was very good.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant (in Kissimmee) for a while because if the good reviews. Walking in, the ambiance was great, and the service was exceptional. Unfortunately, except for the cornbread, the food was unimpressive, and the water they gave us tasted like they pumped it directly from Lake Toho. There were three couples and some children in our party. We bought three two-person samplers (all the main items they serve) and some hamburgers for the children. Hamburgers were seven bucks. Fries and drinks were extra. Burgers, fries, and onion rings were good. I had been really excited for the ribs but unfortunately the food the adults purchased was dry and tasted like it was bought cheaply in bulk from a discount place and just heated up. It did come quickly. The barbecue sauces all tasted strongly of mustard, and were like no barbecue sauces our party had tasted before. Frankly, I have had FAR better food at fast food restaurants for a lower price. I am not a food connoisseur but we won't be eating here again. They could at least have filtered water. Every other place where we have eaten does. Very disappointed, especially as it was my suggestion. We still tipped 20 percent because it isn't the server's fault, but I can't recommend this place.

Great place to grab a bite of some delicious BBQ with a very chill atmosphere. Has a nice old school BBQ joint vibe to it! And the service was fantastic! 10/10 in my book.

I'm so pleased that there is a business around who cares about doing a good job and doing it well. FBBBQ-Kissimmee is exactly that kind of business. So far, we've had the pleasure of ordering take out a couple of times for our large family. Each time, the order was ready on time, PERFECT to what we ordered, and a great value. Oh, yea, and DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! And thanks for making our Mother's Day perfect!

Second time my husband and I have been here. They're doing something right because they've got regulars and the waitresses memorize the names and orders of said regular. I am absolutely in love with the food. Last visit they ran out of lemon cake but this time I got lucky. The cake was so soft and delicious, completely homemade. We had the special dinner, which came woth 2 meats, 4 sides, 2 garlic bread slices and 2 sodas for $25. Absolutely wonderful. We both ate AND left with 2 boxes. I cannot rave enoughhhhhh!!!

My wife and I went here for lunch. The service was amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The space was clean and family friendly. We ordered the meal for 2 for $25. It gave us 2 meats, 4 sides, 2 slices of garlic bread, and drinks. The meats were good but the sides were awesome and delicious! Highly recommend.

Last minute place to eat and our first. LOVED IT! Service and food was on point for us. One of the few places I have to say that even their sides are delicious. Collard greens, bbq beans and mac salad was as delicious as our sandwiches. Tasha you rocked! We’ll bring our friends and see you and try your breakfast!

My husband is BBQ obsessed so trust me when I say we've been to many (many many many) BBQ restaurants. We visited here from the UK in April 2022. The restaurant was quiet and we waited a while for the food but it was explained to us beforehand that it's all fresh so we didn't mind the wait. Honestly, I don't love BBQ like my husband but this was, by far, the best we'd had in florida and the UK. The food was piping hot, full of taste and the staff were so friendly. The food didnt taste rushed or 'mass produced'. The presentation was lovely and we felt really looked after. The price was reasonable. Yes it might have been a bit dated inside but it adds to the authenticity. We loved it so much that we've booked our trip again and I was under instruction to make sure our villa is close to this restaurant!! Looking forward to coming back in April. BBQ is 'cool' now so there is a lot of choice around but this is the absolute best

Used to be my favorite bbq place. They're now lying, greedy, low quality pieces of trash. Don't eat there. They are horrible people.

We stopped in for lunch on the way to the west coast. Parking lot full, good sign. This is an older property, but we were greeted promptly, seated right away. They looked a little short staffed, but our server came right away, and took our order. Our food came right out, was hot and delicious. No complaints, great lunch.

Friendly staff and fast affordable food

In town from GA for a 16 basketball tournament. Had a total of five families so we called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us. We were able to be seated right away on a Saturday night. The staff was fantastic! Took our drink orders as we walked through the door and had our drinks at our table in a matter of minutes. Our server was great, awesome customer service! I had the sliced pork platter that came with 3 sides and Texas toast. The pork was thinly sliced and very good. I am from TN and live in GA and this is the way I prefer my BBQ but it is hard to find it prepared this way except for in the East TN and NC areas. It had a nice Smokey taste, that was not over powering. The BBQ beans were some of the best I have had in a long time! The macaroni was tasty too. I sampled some of my wife’s fried okra and onion rings. The breading in the okra was a little mushy but it had good flavor. The onion rings were top notch! All in all a great experience for my family and a nice find with some really good food. Can’t say enough about the customer service here, everyone pitched in to help with our large party and all were very friendly. Even the older gentleman that bussed our table helped our youngest find the lollipop that he misplaced and left on a table when we got up to leave. Another worked never even said a word when she started to clean the table and the salt and pepper shakers made a mess when she picked them up because a couple of the 16 year old basketball players evidently were pranking. We made sure to tip her extra for the mess but she was very nice about having to do some extra cleanup. Great food and great people, thank you for taking good care of us!

I was very surprised that there was no line here we were set and had our drinks and just a few minutes and before I could get cleaned up and out of the restroom my meal was on the table delicious

Great BBQ and friendly staff. Owners are hard working people. And cook great BBQ beans, pork, beef, chicken, and ribs. Fill your belly with a feast for 2. And take home another meal the next day.

Sadly if i could give it 0 stars i would, the food is over priced and horrible, we were looking forward to their food and it was a big disappointment, garlic toast it's not garlic toast is a piece of bread toasted with butter (no garlic), corn muffins were super dry and no taste at all, mac and cheese tasted like from a box, the ribs overcooked, very dry, we ended up throwing away the food, from the kissimmee location.

My wife ordered the sliced beef and was happy with the taste. I ordered the breaded chicken sandwich and was not happy with it. First off, it's like a small chicken finger put onto two nice butter buns. Then it was flat and dried out. The baked beans and fries were good. Its really just a big miss on this chicken sandwich. Total was $35 for the two of us. Prices were a little higher then expected. I would not order the breaded chicken sandwich again. I would though try something else, I do feel that other items would be fine.

Food is always fantastic I highly recommend it if you like barbecue and fried okra, onion rings and fried pickles it's the only place in town that has the best.

It's not the Lake Wales location, but the wait staff is nice and the eating area is updated. If you want better wings from the Fat Boy locations, travel the extra 45mins to Lake Wales.

First time I ordered to go but I definitely would have enjoyed my meal to dine in because it had a very traditional American bar/grille ambiance. I loved all the food we got - Super Sampler is the way to go. Best BBQ food I had in a while and the sides complimented all the meats well. I will definitely be returning.

It was OK,. Smaller portions now with prices going sky rocketing all over. Paid for two sides of okra which I remember that amount would be have been one portion. So the okra is my favorite but they made the dishes smaller. 😥

Nice place, especially if you just want good food and don't care about fancy environments. Good ol' BBQ restaurant feel. More like a mom and pop environment than your typical chain restaurant. I recommend! 😀

Staff was friendly, food came out quick. I suppose it was a good value for the sampler plate we got, but the food was only ok. The corn was mush. The coleslaw was bland. The brisket was dry and the ribs were tough. I liked the chicken and sliced turkey.
