Best variety and a really good sub.

I'm trying to call the store using the number provided by Google, but it says the main office is not taking calls, and the voicemail hasn't been set up, then hangs up on you... Not helpful in the least. I'm trying to apply for a position there, because I'll be moving back to town soon, and I've been working at another FH subs in my current town. But seeing as I haven't moved yet, kinda hard to walk in and request an interview when I'm 2 hours away lol.. Anyway, fix ya phone plz!!

Been a while since we been there. Obviously something has changed besides the high prices. We both got hot subs. Meats were hot but not the sub rolls. Sub bread was different. Very thick and doughy. It pretty much sucked. Did not feel we would get anything from management so we left. Pricey lunch for two people that bread sub rolls terrible. Wont be back.

Love firehouse and I’ve never had a problem with it up until tonight . I came in to get a sandwich I said no tomatoes and no Monterey Jack sub it out for Swiss and extra mayo they put tomatoes and no mayo at all and put Monterey Jack she just gave me packets of mayo and that was it. There was 5 workers and only two other people in the building sitting eating down . Not impressed at all .

I always get the italian sub and the last couple of times I have gotten it it has been lacking in flavor. The sub I got today, also had the meat in wads that would fall off my sandwich. I miss the deliciousness of the italian I used to get here. ☹️

I witnessed the manager Ryan tell an employee she dropped her clean cloth on the ground. He watched her pick it up and proceed to wipe the food prep area with it. My sandwich was already made, so I walked out the restaurant with my daughter . I didn't want to cause a scene in the restaurant so I called back in to the restaurant to speak with Ryan the manager. I asked him what the protocol was when a cleaning cloth is dropped on the floor and he told me they are supposed to take it in the back, and wash their hands and go back to what they were doing. I told him I witnessed they young lady pick it up off the ground and wipe the food prep station. He said gotcha "What would you like me to do about it? And I said " I don't know what are you going to do about it? He said I will talk to my team. I told him I saw him tell her it was on the ground and watch her pick it up and wipe the food prep area and as a cancer survivor that turned my stomach sour. You guys have to do better. He said he will talk to his team but really Ryan is the problem. If he was a strong manager his team would respect him and the rules of Fire House Subs. I won't be going back to this location. I am very disappointed!!

Aside from having the worst cheesesteak from Firehouse Subs in Orange City, Florida my blood pressure is good 🤣🤣

Girl was very rude about the birthday sub. It was my boyfriend’s bday and we were going to dine in and me order a sub on top of his bday sub. The cashier said you have to have the app. So I asked can he just download the app, (his bday is literally today.) She said you have to download it 6 months in advance. So we decided to leave as that wasn’t exactly the treatment we were expecting on a special occasion and as we are walking out she turned to a coworker who was questioning why we were leaving and yelled out that we wanted “free food”. Please get some classier staff who say happy birthday, don’t have metal in their face and are nicer to your customers. I hope someone treats her just as poorly on her birthday for asking a simple question. I won’t be back to this location.

It's a sub shop. No surprises. Great chili. The menu is a little different than most other sub shops

This is the best Firehouse subs I’ve ever been to; I moved away and made a point to come back when I was in town. They’re so friendly and patient and the place is always clean.

Worst and most expensive subs ever I paid 30 bucks for the worst steak and cheese sandwich and meatball 1 drink and chips. So dissatisfied that I went to Taco Bell to eat and fed the steak to my dog. Never in my life had I been so disappointed.

The food was amazing I mean, I had the New York sub with the pastrami was out of this world perfectly made not over not under just right, the young lady who took our order was wonderful and there was one special young woman out there who was scrubbing the tables down, left and right who's. Doing a Bang up job, it was a great team over there. I'm so happy to stop and.

This is the best Firehouse subs in the area. I will drive past Sanford to get one of their tasty sandwiches. The customer service, food quality and cleanliness is just superior. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

This firehouse subs used to be the best one, however sandwich are having less meat, sandwiches not well put together lacking the fullness it use to have. Do better FIREHOUSE.

The staff and store are great when you dine in, but my family is now 0/7 on the online order being correct. It also doesn’t help that their app is aweful for people who want to customize their subs. Definitely dine in, and don’t order online!

Great spot for subs! My favorite is the hot meatball sub. The staff is friendly and the food is delivered quickly. The inside is decorated with firemen memorabilia.

Who doesn't love a hook and lader. My family loves this place. They are great with family's. It might take a quick minute to make a sandwich and with the to go orders but worth the wait. The staff has always been nice

The lady that helped me on the phone and in person was very very Good at her profession! Her name is Shannon if I remember correctly. My trip to and from Firehouse Subs in Orange City, Fl. was 22 miles and I will be getting my sandwiches from their shop from now on. Worth the trip I assure you. Thank You Shannon and Firehouse Subs. I love this location! Food is exceptional, very clean, staff is so friendly, you feel like your part of the family. We had the brisket sub and a meatball sub. Delicious!

We love firehouse subs so much so that the kids give us gifts cards for our 54 anniversary and any other special occasions.

I went here Wednesday night and a new kid was working, with Braces, don't really remember his name. Anyways, that kid had the best attitude and helped me build my sandwich anxiety free. It was my first time there and I'll definitely be back soon

Live in Orange city go into this store to redeem a coupon for a free medium sub that a corporate employee told me I could use at any location. Lady looks at the coupon as if I stole it tell me that she couldn’t redeem it If it wasn’t filled out . Mind you I was ordering more food on top of the free coupon . Adding a couple other subs to the order and drinks DOESNT even bother to ask me where I got it from or who I got it from just tells me it can’t be redeemed . I drive all the way to deland location and they redeem it no questions never returning to this location again.

Only my second time there and it was good. Everyone said Hello as you entered. Everyone was nice and you could donate your change to first responders which I thought was amazing. And of course I donate it my change and I hope everyone else did today and every day. Place was nice and clean I really enjoyed my sub we call them hoagies I will go back I want to try others I talked to my son he said he had a favorite want to try that so I'll be back to see you soon thanks for a good experience and a good hoagie.

May 8th 2021 My wife wanted a New York Steamer from Firehouse Subs. Our closest location is Orange City. They are back in a small shopping plaza and I always drive by there. I love Firehouse but there signage could be better. I called Firehouse and ordered my wife's steamer while I was on my way. It was 8:50 and I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes which was the exact time it took me to get there. I arrived and one woman was ordering. Another man came in to pickup his order as well. The staff were polite and friendly. I got the sub and was leaving when one of the sandwich makers unlocked and opened the door for me. I did not realize they closed at 9:00 on the weekend. They could have just told me they were closing but they gladly took my order. The woman in front of me only ordered after 9:00. The man behind me only arrived about 9:05. They were happy to take our orders and I am grateful for the hospitality and kindness of they staff. February 2018 Always good. Great service.

Love this place. I only eat Publix subs and firehouse subs. Always delicious. Served hot and fresh daily. Clean dinning and management always friendly. Staff as well. Always coming up with new menu items 👍. One steady customer.

We love Firehouse subs, usually. My daughter is known to order 3x a week. Today I ordered online first time. Was on my way to work, order was fairly large as ordering for several. My pickup was at 11:45. I get to the store and they have no order. They told me I had to pay online. . No where while ordering online does it say you have to pay online only. Very frustrating when you think you run in, pay and be on your way. Yes they offered to make them, but I didn't have the time then to wait 30 mins or so and be to work on time now. Very disappointed. This needs to be stated on your online ordering. Sorry your loss as it was a big order.

A dairy free meal was requested and in the catered box, all it says is no cheese. A chocolate chip cookie was in the box and since it had milk chocolate chips, I knee they did not care enough to make sure the meal was dairy free. In the office I work at we have 3 people with food allergies and try to make sure they all can eat, but careless attention to detail can make it dangerous to order from a restaurant that only puts "no cheese" and thinks that covers dairy free.

A little bit expensive but still very very good

The lady who took my order was super friendly and made it easy for me to use my coupon. The place was incredibly clean and even the self serve area for coke was immaculate.

My daughter wanted to go here. It was busy. Tables were all full. We were able to nab a table before we got our food. I ordered steak and cheese. I do believe it was actually better than subway (and I like subway). My daughter ordered their ham, which I think she said she does all the time, and she loved her, too. The ONLY thing I didn’t like (not their fault) is the one person at a time bathroom.
