We ordered a few sushi rolls from here through Doordash and while although good we felt the size of each roll vs. the price was lacking. Our favorite sushi spot is Amura's in Lake Mary and yes they charge a bit more per roll but the rolls seem seem at least half again larger. We know Doordash upcharges everything too though so maybe its a much better value to order/eat directly from the restaurant.

Our first time and my husband got 4 speciality rolls and they were phenomenal. I got the general tsaos and the crab rangoons were amazing . Can’t wait to come back. Definitely our new sushi place . We had Jing and she has such a great personality and was very attentive

Ughhh wish i knew when wg o wS cooking. The jalapeno roll was disgustung and this us my favorite item usually. They didnt clean ut because it was sooooo spicy and not crunchy at all. Threw out yuck

Service was horrible, upon entering the restaurant there was a little boy playing around on the floor that nearly ran into me. There should not be children running around in a food establishment. Secondly the owner was very unprofessional the order we received was incorrect she then started accusing us of not wanting to pay because of the color of our skin. We will never eat here again.

Please don’t eat here the owner hung up on me several times. Was very rude

We usually drive to Orlando area or Daytona to get good quality sushi, but not anymore. Moya Sushi has awesome service, great food and nice atmosphere.

Great place for sushi! Servers are knowledgeable and are able to offer great recommendations. We went for a birthday and it was so accommodating. Food was great, sushi was fresh!

Had the tuna tar tar. It had Pringles potato chips and marinated tuna! The Pad Thai was a joke. No flavor and half the dish wasn't covered in the sauce. Never again for me.

So this is the 2nd review because the restaurant said to check my receipt because I couldn’t be talking about them. So I deleted my review until I double checked my facts. Yes I have the correct restaurant and here is my complaint in further detail. Veggie fried rice 15.95 (looked for veggies) Veggie tempura 7.50 said allergic to Mushrooms and got them anyway So food went to waste Teriyaki Chicken W/fried rice 16.95 Could only find 4 tiny specs of Chicken 3 white sauce not even half full 3.00 1 teriyaki sauce 1/2 full 3.00 WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND WILL NOT GO BACK….

Nice clean restaurant. Very quick service. Food was good. I got the chicken hibachi lunch special. The chicken seemed to be a little plain, however everything cooked well and tasted good.

I bought a bento box , you would think it would be just like a picture that is advertised. But nope . I used to like coming there usually get sushi , but even that tasted old , I am not sure what had happened for the restaurant to change so much and not for the better , the wasabi was old , so was the ginger they had no Japanese soda , had to settle to typical experience. It's very disappointing. I'll just go to typical fast food next time , it will be cheaper and bigger portions. The owner needs to realize that people go for an illusion of authentic experience, you start generalizing and you will loose consumers. Sorry to say we will not be back . I hope you will improve the food

Mediocre at best not terrible, not great sushi. I ordered the spicy tuna roll they did not even put crunch on top or spicy mayo just put a cup on the side of a regular tuna roll this is incorrect and lazy AF. I never have seen anywhere in stores or other restaurants that does this the correct way to make it is with crunch and the spicy mayo drizzled on top. The lunch special with 2 rolls was $13.99 which is not a great deal and with mediocre sushi even worse. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I love this place!! It is very clean and well taken care of inside. The ladys here are allways pressing me to try new things and their allways right! The food is amazing, they are allways so friendly, their food is very reasonably priced and they are open late, and take call in orders. 11 out of 10 always recommend.

Nice atmosphere but food here was really bad . Everything was lacking flavor and hibachi is steamed . Honestly the worst habachi I’ve ever had . Not sure how reviews are so good maybe I went on a bad day ?? Soup was plain no flavor , sushi was mushy and not good . Fried rice was like steamed with no peas or carrots or egg in it . Honestly the worst Asian food we have ever had . Manager was rude and didn’t seem to take genuine feedback instead blamed us for not liking it !!! Do yourself a favor and go to Fujiyama up the road for real habachi with flavor . I wanted to love this place but it was just all around lacking in the food department . They said they don’t have a flat top in the kitchen so they just steam your meal and dump sauce on it . I couldn’t even eat the food it was that poorly made :( my wife is Asian and she said how can Asian place not be good at rice even ???!! 1/5 stars at least the ambiance was nice . We won’t ever be back sorry

The 4.9 review is well deserved by Moya Sushi. We popped in for an early dinner after a nice bike ride and trip to Blue Springs State Park. We started off with 2 rolls - Sweet Potato and Spicy Tuna. Both were excellent. We then ordered the General Tso Tofu and Shrimp Noodles (pictures). Again, both were excellent. We completely polished off our plates. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend and would visit again when we're in the area!

Very good food, large portions. Server was attentive. However, kitchen needs to work on timing. The dinners came out in 2 waves, restaurant was not busy. Update: 3/9 Dinner tonight was very good and all delivered timely .Excellent service and food.

My husband and I go at least twice a month. The food is amazing the best Sushi I have had locally and it competes with the best places in Orlando. They take the time to give each plate beautiful presentation. The Sushi is always amazing and we are always able to order a great variety. Don't forget about the complementary edamame when you dine in! I am so happy to finally have a Sushi restaurant close to home!

I have been to Moya Sushi three times..most recently yesterday for Valentine's day. They decorated the restaurant with Valentine's themed and when we sat down we were greeted with a cute little box of chocolate. We ordered some appetizers gyoza dumplings were amazing and the jalapeno poppers were yummy. We received complimentary Edamame which were very tasty too. I tried their Miso soup, which was delicious. Then we ordered sushi rolls which were amazing. The food is fresh, tastes very good and we got our food fast I would say despite them being busy. We had a great server who was prompt, taking care of us very well. I am so glad we have such a great place in the city.

We highly recommend Moya Sushi! First, they are so welcoming and quick with service. We went for Valentine’s dinner tonight and each table had a box of complimentary chocolates Second, the food was perfectly cooked and so fresh. Complimentary edamame for the table. The vegetable tempura was crispy and so good. My husband got Japanese Curry Don and it was so flavorful and the chicken was crispy. I had the bulgogi which was incredible and my daughter had the salmon lovers sushi plate. Everything was perfect from beginning to end.

We ordered through GrubHub, the food was delicious. The rice bowl wasn't what I was expecting as it was in a flat container and not in a bowl, but still very good. The sushi roll was also delicious.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Every dish I’ve tried is delicious. Love their shrimp fried rice as well as their pad thai. Salad & soups are delicious as well! Great atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. I’ve had dates, business meetings, and dinner with my mom here. Incredible little spot. Wonderful service, prices, and very clean too.

The food is fresh, the sushi is really good and very good price

I ordered a few rolls for my husband and I. We used door dash and was completely surprised with the quality and flavor of the sushi. We ordered the sweet potato roll, spicy tuna, Mexican roll, and jb roll. Everything was wonderfully crafted, unfortunately don't have pictures since I wasn't prepared for a review. Will be back soon in person to take proper photos. That sweet potato roll is TO DIE FOR!!

This little restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and kind. We visit multiple times a month and will continue to keep coming back. Best sushi place in Florida, no contest!

The sushi is great and they bring you edamame right after you sit down. I’ve been here three times so far and the food and service have both been top notch.

Worst hibachi I ever tasted. Chicken tasted boiled & dry. Fried rice wasn't fried rice. It looked like brown rice with nothing in it. Bento boxes weren't good either. I won't be back.

This place is by far the best place to get sushi, or any food in general! Staff are very nice and super professional. Love this place to grab something to eat!

The food is good, fair comparable prices, atmosphere is clean and stylish. Service is good. They are nice. We have eaten lunch stopped for a quick bite and dinners there. Sushi to meals. I would recommend. I don't usually go to a strip mall sushi eatery but they are doing a good job so far 😉

Very solid sushi restaurant, one of the best in the area. All of my rolls tasted fresh, were well-rolled, and they used a healthy amount of cream cheese! Perfectly packaged for delivery. They also respected my request to switch from smoked salmon to raw salmon in the Philly Roll, which was nice of them. I will order from here again!

Still my favorite sushi place in town! It's always fresh, the service is always amazing, and all their sauces are homemade! Just yum! My fave is the Florida roll, but honestly, they're all fantastic!

Finally tried this place with mom tonight. The sushi rolls had amazing flavor, our Krab Rangoon was perfect, but the price of dinner really drove it home for us. A glass of wine, a beer, 3 rolls (1 being a special roll), Krab Rangoon and a dessert $64!! The service was amazing, they are so sweet and attentive. It’s close to our new place so we are absolutely coming back to try more things on the menu. Thanks guys you rock!

I'm not a big fan of sushi, only reason I went here is cause they share my last name. Looks like a typical hole in the wall on the outside, but is amazing on the inside. Our dishes were 7, and 9 dollars, and they were beautiful, and delicious. My daughter had a scallion pancake, that was also great. Heads up if you don't get a roll deep fried, it comes out cold. My only complaint is they gave me my food about 10 minutes before they brought my wife and kids food, but no big deal. The service was fast, we were out in 30 minutes. Place was great, I highly recommend them, and we will be back.

What a genuine GEM! we found this place when searching for something fresh and light, and fell in ❤️. The food is always perfection, and each platter is a work of edible art. We've gone several times, and brought family. The Owners are gracious and genuine, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting. It's always a treat to enjoy time there. HIGHLY recommend

First of all, the service was amazing! Our waitress was kind and her service was quick! The sushi was amazing and one of a kind. Visit this place!!!

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The inside is very modern and clean with big open tables for large tables. I had the hibachi chicken lunch with spring rolls and dumplings. All were very good. The serving size is alot. Kris had the dragon sushi and hibachi steak and chicken. The ginger salad was fresh and delicious. 😋. Its nice to have another good restaurant in town. The service was excellent and it was very busy. 👍👍

This is the best sushi restaurant in all of Orange City, Deltona and Deland area. The service is amazing. The owners are awesome. They gave us a free appetizer which to me means a lot in reference to great quality service I would recommend them to everybody. The atmosphere is very chill and there’s always parking available. This is a great place to take your family out for a nice evening.

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I definitely would! This has become my family’s absolute favorite place to eat! The consistency is on point and never once have we gone and been disappointed! Hands down the BEST sushi spot we have been to. Since we love it so much we have brought friends and family along and every single one has raved about how good the food is! If you are looking for a cute cozy spot to enjoy delicious food this is definitely the place! We have enjoyed many occasions such as Mother’s Day and Birthdays and the staff really goes above and beyond for their customers by adding cute little touches to make those occasions so much more special! The atmosphere is really nice and the service has been great every single time!! 10/10 recommend!!!!!
