Good and excelent latin food, i like this place.

For some Hispanics the word "Lelo" is the nickname we give to our Grandparents; when we are little. Instead of saying Abuelo, we say Abelo and some younger ones end up saying: Lelo. But above all this place is like our 2nd. home; such delicious and...economical food!!!

Lady at register was not courteous. Did not give me my complete order.

I like the Mofongo, fried plantain and tostones.

We ordered a Family for 5 people, the rice with pigeon peas and the brutal rice with sausage, very good pana tostones, super delicious ripe plantains and the side portion was very good, the yucca was delicious, super soft and the flavor was super rich, really without We would definitely visit this restaurant again. We loved it.

The food is just top notch. It is a cafeteria style food where you pick and choose what you want. The flavor is there, the seasonings are there, prices for the food you get are unbeatable. There's a reason why you have to get in a 15-20 minute line and wait for your turn. Not only that but you get served a working man's portion. Trust me this is the best healthy Food in all of Deltona. Great for take out after work. I would rather this than an overpriced Michelin star restaurant in Sanford any day of the week. Take this from someone that has been a "chef de cuisine" for more than 18 years at very expensive places and is a food critic. P.S. try the octopus salad you will not regret it

The pull pork, great, but the roast beef, it seems like it doesn't have that much rotation and some pieces tasted strange, as if they had mixed the meat of the day with leftover meat from previous days. Not good. 😫

Delicious food and fast service 😋

The food is always excellent no matter what I choose this time it was the ribs but there is no clicker on the bottom to indicate that I had the ribs. And they were delicious fall off the bone and not too much barbecue sauce too kill the taste of the actual food. I had made it like Mom made. The Yucca the yellow rice with the red beans and I was a happy camper.

I've been eating here for 8+ years before they went independent and changed their name to Lelo's. They just keep getting better! Last week at 5 pm, I walked in to pick up dinner. It was my son's birthday, and Lelo's is his favorite restaurant. I was 25th in line! It only took under 20 mins from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. The food is great, and the value is phenomenal. If we ever move, I'll have to plan trips just to visit Lelo's

The best chicken with Puerto Rican flavor

Did someone say they are hungry. You get so much that I share with my 4 yr old mad still have lunch the next day. Roasted pork shoulder ,rice and beans , and fried plantains. Fresh n friendly atmosphere. It's always perfectly clean also. Which they get 10 stars for me because I have worked in the service industry and know how difficult that can be. It's never easy catering to the public... When you pull up you can smell all the aromas of Authentic Puerto Rican food.

Food and service is excellent however I dislike the restaurant allowing customers to come in with DOGS where majority of the food being served is out in the open. Please this is not PETCO take your dogs somewhere else! I have witnessed 2 people today 8/9/24 come in with dogs and they were not service dogs. I really hope the owner changes the policies on this matter

To be fair this review is solely based on service. I was interested in Lelos BBQ catering for a business event coming up soon. In this day and age there are lots of food allergies that people have unfortunately and I have never had a problem with a restaurant providing me information so I can make an educated decision. However there's a first time for everything I called and spoke to a lady who told me that she doesn't know what kind of oil they use, it's a kitchen thing. I asked if there was someone I can speak to in the kitchen and was told no and that they won't give me that information. I then asked do you accommodate food allergies and I was told no I don't think we do. This is bad for business Lelos. Do better. People can't try your food if they're not clear as to whether it will make them sick or not.

On August 8, 2024, I visited the restaurant and unfortunately experienced subpar service. The young lady wearing clear pink eyeglasses was unprofessional and rude. She appeared disinterested in taking my order and left without informing me that I needed to follow her to the register. When I reached the register, she asked me what I wanted to drink in a disrespectful manner. After I requested a Coke, she placing it forcefully into my bag. After I completed my payment, I expressed my gratitude, but she did not acknowledge my thanks and immediately engaged in a conversation with another staff member. She was showing her something on her phone. While I was waiting for the card machine to process my payment, an older lady approached me and kindly asked if I would like a receipt, to which I politely declined. I regret to say that the overall customer service experience was disappointing, and it has deterred me from returning to this establishment. I would like to commend the older lady for her kindness. While I understand that not all employees may behave in this manner, I believe that the young lady with the pink clear glasses could greatly benefit from customer service and diversity training. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Lelo’s bbq is one of my favorite restaurant in town. The quality is amazing and the flavor is wonderful. The menu changes on weekdays. I got to have beef stew for the first time. I absolutely love it!!! Thank you so much! Also, the staff are super friendly and nice!

The chicken and rice and ribs where good. My issue is when people who own restaurants serve bag food. Dude you have good ribs but smear bullseye on them, make something better or serve dry

This place is the bomb .com! The Nutella tres leches is a brilliant idea. Yuca is on point. They give a good amount of maduros not like most places. They serve Malta. My only one thing that I could even think about this place is I wish they made arroz con salchichas instead of just arroz con chorizo.

Food is okay.. flavor isn’t there. Love the snappers but the staff are terrible. Bad service if you’re not Hispanic. Plantains are always mushy and Yuka is hard all the time. Rice is delicious though.

We are from Ocala, I have family in Deltona, they recommended it to me, a very good choice, 100% in everything. We ordered a family # 4, excellent 👌 choice and prices, I am a eater and with it we exceeded the expectations of 4 people.

Oh, Lelos, how you've grown on me. It's still very simple, lightly seasoned latin basics. Red beans have the best flavor. Chicken is best ordered from open til about 5. After that, I find it dryer. Mofongo is pretty good. I have never had the fish, so no comment there, but I'd like to try soon. Lots of rice with each meal. Delicious yuca. Very consistent! Ropa vieja Thursdays are my favorite, for $15, it is often enough to feed 2. Professional service, no teens with attitudes that you find at some fast food joints.

Lelos is just amazingly good! When it comes to Puerto Rican cuisine, this is the place to go within Volusia County and the nearby counties. I’ve been going here for the last 20 years and they never disappoint. Their cuchifrito is to die for!

Seating area needs some improvement. This place can be crowded with long lines that at times it feels people waiting in line are overlooking over your shoulder at what you are eating making the environment uncomfortable. Overall great food. Beware! they serve a lot of food which actually two people can eat from it. Great for the price.

The food was very good, authentic and tasty. The only potential downside is that it seemed to contain MSG which I'm not a fan of. The service and atmosphere is cafeteria style, functional, basic and clean but no ambiance.

Okay so I think I did a review of lelo's way back and I might have gave it a good rating. But I come to realize that that was then and this is now.... And things change. So I'm going to base this on the last couple times that I've been there. IMO Lelo's has been on the steady decline for a little bit now. The quality of the food has gone down. The service has definitely gone down. And just the other day when I was there the other day they had a speaker that was blown and it made the whole place sound horrible with the music on..

Great Hispanic food. Mofongo is my favorite one. Good prices. The only thing I miss is the green salad and more variety of music. It will be more variety of music. A lot of English speakers people buy food there and is a good idea to get more different music. Not only Spanish music. No reggeaton.

We always love coming here when we are close. We order the family meal with rotisserie chicken, arroz con gandules and any side... tostones, maduros there is lots to choose from and everything is good. Great prices, fast friendly service. This is a casual restaurant with small tables and can also take to go.

The first thing you will experience is a line of people who is faithful customers. The second thing you will experience is they are constantly bringing out fresh cooked food . The line was long and there is a reason for that! This is the most authentic Puerto Rican food I’ve ever had here in central Florida. I wanted to cry because it tasted just like my grandmas and it brought back so many memories! We will for sure be coming back!

Pernil is low quality and so is the beef, just get the chicken and be careful you will get skipped. If you move to forward. Be ready to wait a looooooonnnnnggggg time for your food.

We come here often. Today our chicken was not cooked all the way. That has not happened, so imagine how I felt when it did. It's too far to drive back to fix it. Very disappointing. It was pretty pink, so I had to just throw it away. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I'm so glad I finally tried Lelo's. It is so amazing! The food is great every time I've been there. Since I found this place I go at least once a week and am never disappointed. I definitely recommend this place if you love food in general!

I get home and the chicken I bought was burnt, the cassava mofongo tasteless... the worst thing is that the person who served me was the Colombian girl "manager" Hasya got upset when I returned... how bad!!! They let me down 😔
