Gitano Grill Restaurant is a good American/Mississippi food. The breakfast; lunch and dinner is yummy. Monday - Fridays hours are from 6am-2pm; Fridays also 5pm to 8pm and 11am - 8pm on Saturday. My husband and I enjoy the food; atmosphere and they also have a fabulous bakery of cakes; pies and cookies.

Stopped in for lunch. The place was packed. All homemade cuisine. I tried the "Philly Cheese steak" with fries. Being from that area, I was disappointed with this sammich. I only requested onions on it, no peppers. The order was to go. Their cheese used was cheddar, which does not come on a Philly Steak. Philly cheese is served with either melted Velveeta or provolone, mozzarella. Trust me, there are soo many versions of this sammich, but if you advertise a "Philly Cheese"?, well. I sat in the car to begin meal. Two napkins weren't enough. My sammich was very wet for some reason and was a mess to deal with. It reminded me of French onion soup. The fries were crinkle cut and had a lot of seasoning on them. (Scraped it off so I wouldn't overdose on sodium). I can't say I won't come back because there are some other items on their menu I'd like to try. Their dessert cakes looked delicious. Stop in and give them a try. Judging by the full house for lunch, the locals love this place!

I really liked their chess squares and brownies and they have great hamburgers but their cakes are dry.

All I can say is wow! This is one awesome small town restaurant/grill. I was talking with a guy and he recommended the burger called 5 napkin, I added an egg, when they brought that monster out I was in awe. Very good food and a nice friendly service and homely atmosphere. We'll be back for sure. 3 thumbs up for Gitano Grill !!!

A very great burger and service

Ate lunch here and it was awesome! This chicken on a stick had potatoes, peppers, onions and dill pickles. In addition I ordered sweet potatoe fries. It was delicious and priced very affordable. There was an array of homemade deserts so I ordered a slice of carrot cake. It melted in my mouth! Upon checkout I inquired about purchasing cakes whole and they have awesome prices on this. Check them out!!!

Gitano Grill is an amazing place! The food is great! You can have a good country cooking plate or just a big juicy freshly grilled burger! The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Recently moved to Soso MS from out of state so my knowledge of local restaurants is very limited. Found Gitano while doing a Google search. OMG! The Best CheeseBurger I've had in years. My heart doctor will not be happy but my stomach certainly is.

Wonderful little place to eat the food and bakery is just for you to see! Perfectly prepared and clean! Love it…. I had the steak sandwich and homemade onion rings…. . Definitely go back it’s not fiat away!

Cake is good. Food is ehhh need more season in meat, and oil needs to be changed in fryer. Server was nice! She had to get clarification on what came on the burgers. The lady that clarified had bit of attitude not for mine or my teenagers liking. My kid was like attitude much… I said yeah I caught that vibe. We went outside to wait!! My teenagers was like let’s just go. I told them nope we don’t go unless you cancel order bc that’s just tacky and rude as well! So, please for the love of God just add a description of your items on the menu for new customers that doesn’t know what a napkin burger is or the other menu items. Ghost burger needs a new name bc it’s not spicy. Family of 4 was under 60.00 for everything so not bad.

It's a great place. I particularly love their shrimp po-boy and catfish. The desserts are tasty too. Drive by around meal times and you'll see lots cars.

Great food! I recommend the hamburger steak, hamburgers and salad with fried shrimp.

This is by far the most delicious small town burger place. Her food is always awesome and the staff are always nice. It’s got an at home atmosphere that’s hard to find. And a a turtle cheesecake that is absolutely delicious. A local favorite place to eat.

Everything ive tried is exceptional. They make homemade cakes and pies desserts. They have a lunch plate. Hamburgers are huge. Fish is terrific.

The Cook, Gladys, handed me my standard large burger and said: "I hope you like it.. " BOY DID I!! That was a top-notch burger! After a dozen hamburger reviews in South Mississippi from Waynesboro to Natchez, I can tell you this burger is a STAR! Service was fast, but not too fast to compromise quality... a 1/2lb patty on a grill-toasted bun to bring in a light sweetness to the burger... Good job, Gladys. GOOD JOB!!

This is the place you should go. I don’t know where you were going, but change your plans. I’m not telling you that you’ll walk into a perfectly managed restaurant with every element chosen to perfection; that’s not what’s important. I’m telling you that you’ll walk into a family-owned business that can cook one hell of a burger, bake a fine cake, and pour up a glass of the granny’s sweet tea. This place is clean, and the people are friendly. If you’re just passing through, call an order in. You won’t be sorry.

We stopped in a few weeks ago and had breakfast, it was great. We went back for dinner a week later and it was super great. The owners and staff were very kind and made you feel like family. This will be our go to place for good food.

Fantastic burgers cooked right in front of you. Handmade onion rings. Too full for dessert but the looked wonderful. Worth the trip!
