Yo, this cafe is lit! The coffee's bomb and the breakfast sandwiches are the bomb diggity!

Discovered a Gem. Please note the "...was a Roast Beef on Cibbata" photo. I'm in the middle of my Greek salad commenting on the dressing when "Google Review" hit me. Unfortunately, by that time my family's review was ahead of me. That empty plate is their review! This visit was a "let's stop here" moment and sometimes that just works out. It did today. We had Roast Beef on Cibbata, Greek Salad, and a Blueberry muffin. No coffee to comment on this visit. But, since we will go back, not to worry. Charming little restaurant with an atmosphere to match.

I love coming here. I actually go out of my way to come here. The staff are so pleasant and the coffee is always perfect. Plus I’m addicted to their chicken Caesar wraps.

Vibes here aren’t right. Coffee was alright. Service was super slow and there wasn’t anything in the display case so I wasn’t really tempted to order food. Smells kinda funky inside and just overall not very comfy

We really loved our Panini sandwiches!! The Elvis is my favorite!! Followed by the Cuban!! Heidi was terrific!!

Great bagel! A very moderate smear. Must be a shortage of cream cheese. Green tea good! Friendly staff and good quality foods.

Spent a couple of days at the Brent House Hotel nearby and enjoyed my morning coffee at Grounded Café. Friendly staff, limited seating inside with a cozy atmosphere.

Love this place for Gluten Free options for breads. They have great sandwiches and salad options. When I went, the batista even created an Italian soda for me. Seems like a friendly place with lots of regulars and community, which is how I like my cafes!

The Croissant Sandwich is so good!!! Meat and egg is cooked to order and the croissant is light and flaky. Perfect breakfast sandwich.

I recently visited this coffee shop, drawn to its convenient location. As I settled down to work remotely, I decided to grab a bite and enjoy a cup of tea. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when I overheard a group of guests engaging in a conversation that contained blatantly racist remarks. It was disheartening to witness such behavior repeatedly, and it left me feeling quite uncomfortable. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this cafe to anyone, as the staff apparently tolerates hate speech and offensive language, which is deeply concerning.

These folks are fabulous AND their coffee/food are too.

***Update **** Wanted to just updatemy post since i can't give 10 🌟. This place is just an awesomeplace to help start off your morning. The coffe is great, the breakfast is great and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant to be in. Awesome place for a study group, a small get together, some alone time, a small group or just a place to enjoy a vup of joe and sit outside. I always place my order by phone and they know my name!!!! Such wonderful and kind staff. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Please try them out, you will not be disappointed. *****Amazing people and the coffee is great. Best to call in orders in the morning because they can be pretty busy. Have a points system for free items. Love this little gem. Highly recommend especially for a coffee date.

Good Coffee, Good Service, Friendly Staff. We have eaten at Grounded for Lunch on 4 or 5 occasions. Chicken Caesar Wrap was fresh and tasty. French Dip was delicious. BLT was good. Actually have not had anything here that was less than "good" or "delicious". Would recommend and will definitely be back.

We happened upon this gem of a coffee shop while visiting family in town. Friendly employees and an awesome neighborhood vibe amongst the patrons. It felt like we were sitting down with friends at home to enjoy our coffee and breakfast. delicious coffee and food as well! Must try if you’re in the area.

It was okay wanted scrambled eggs with bacon croissant but had none only poached which didn’t make sense having a kitchen. Coffee was okay

I was looking for some breakfast, more on the healthier end, and ended up at this place. It's a pretty cool little place with a nice ambience. I got the avocado toast with tomatoes, and the honey ginger peach tea! Both were quite refreshing to start the morning. This'll be a new spot for me when I'm in the area!

I didn't see a ketchup but over all it's all good they have different types of packed sugar! I love it I'll tell them next time place my drink in a mug 💕 their roast beef is yummy and their machiato

Quaint neighborhood cafe that's locally owned and sourced. There are MANY options for those with celiac and gluten-intolerance, including Van's Friendly Donuts. I have trouble finding a latte that can live up to theirs and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. Definitely worth the visit.

The avocado toast is in Christmas tree shape, super cute! Also they’re very friendly, and have very delicious food, highly recommend!

This is an adorable café with delicious food and drinks! I loved my iced chai latte, and the croissant was really good. This a great place for a grab-and-go meal or to sit and enjoy time with a friend.

We came all the way from Kenner to GCC. 20-25 minutes drive, Skipping all the other coffee shops close to home says everything already. GCC offer speciality Espresso drinks. All the Breakfast are delicious, we tried everything on the menu. They also have gluten free bread as an option. What’s the best is the service and hospitality they offered. When I went to get a panini and coffee for my hospitalized wife, Beth know exactly how she like her coffee, and really care about how she is doing. Thank you Beth, and GCC Team. ♥️

I am so happy I have found this little coffee shop tucked away on my way to work. They have friendly staff and delicious coffee. But what keeps me coming back is the dietary friendly menu. Grounded seriously has the most diverse gluten-free friendly sandwiches and sweets I've yet to find at a coffee shop in town. I just wish they stayed open past 2 PM :)

This is my all time favorite coffee place. The coffee is the best coffee in town.. really, the best coffee I’ve ever had anywhere. The breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. I really have to stop myself from coming here every day it’s just so dang good!! If you’re looking for a friendly little breakfast spot, or just somewhere to get a quick cup of joe, this is your place! Could not recommend it more highly 10/10

Stopped in while waiting on my daughter having a procedure at ochsner very good coffees and look like they had a good lunch menu although we weren't hungry at the time. Nice people cool little hang out.

The lox and bagel was very good but the cup of coffee [Sumatra] was one of the best I have had in a long time. 16oz, black. The staff was wonderful.

I love the avocado toast it’s light fresh and all the people are wonderful there they remember your name your remember what you order and they treat you as if you’ve been there forever

Outstanding food and service in a rather underserved area. Breakfast is a standout -- bagel and cream cheese, bacon/egg/cheese croissants, ham & cheese danish, sausage kolache ... all wonderful. Owner and staff very customer oriented.
