Ive eaten here multiple times and each time its the best chicken fingers Ive ever had. Friendly employees no matter whos working. Fries are good and the sauce is great. Its better than Zaxbys and I love Zaxbys.

My first time coming here and the food is very good !! Hot and very fresh I ordered the chicken finger box & I can't even finish it. It was $14 and some change however I've spent that at McDonald's & leave still hungry. 🤣 and honestly McDonald's chicken finger are disgusting. They serve real chicken here folks. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture before I ate. I do recommend them. 🫶🙂 Also the ladies were very helpful and nice

My family of five came for dinner last night and the service was exceptional from the two young men up front! The food was absolutely perfect too! It’s so much better than any zaxbys or raising canes. The food is excellent and fresh. The chicken is actually seasoned and has flavor unlike the other places. And their sauce for the chicken fingers is phenomenal. So glad we found this place in South Tampa!

This is an Alabama based chicken chain. Here, you can get a chicken tenders box. The chicken itself is really good. I enjoyed by sandwich and the Texas toast with it. It had a lot of flavor to it. However, I thought the fries weren’t very special. The restaurant itself is clean, and has plenty of places to sit. However, it’s recommended to have takeout here. The service was decent, but the cook was wearing sweatpants when we were there. Overall, would recommend if you’re in the area.

First time dining in last night. The box was delicious, fries and chicken were steaming hot upon arrival at the table. Even the coleslaw and bread were great too. The service felt warm and hospitable. I’ll be coming back.

OMG. No where else will I eat chicken fingers. Our family eats Guthrie's at least once a week. It is our family's fav place to eat. The chicken fingers are so lightly breaded and huge they almost melt in your mouth 👄. The sweet tea is some of the best I have ever tasted in the Tampa Bay area and its because it's the same recipe for over 50 years. My husband brings me home 2 gallons a week. If your looking for a great place to feed your family 👪 Guthrie's is your best bet. You get the biggest bang for your buck!! A bigger better bucket than KFC,Popeyes or any others has ever offered,plus fries, toasted bread, and Cole slaw plus a gallon of sweet tea.not to mention they make their own sauces. The hots sauce is kickass!!!! Guthrie's is the 💣 baby we love it ❤ I hope they bring one to Brandon or Valrico soon!

Great chicken served hot and fresh

Food was really good, but what made the experience going there worth it was the service and greeting we received from Brie who took our order. Glad we went!

The "BOX" cost is now $10.49. First look at what's in the "box" appeared pleasing. Good size and portion of salted thick cut fries. Good portion of tenders with a slight soft crunch. The slaw is good too but I could care less about the texas toast. I would go back.

I’ve always gone into the restaurant to dine in or pick up. Today I ordered on Ubereats and forgot to add a special instruction onto my order. I called and they immediately answered and were very pleasant and accommodating. Fresh food and great customer service are the reasons that I constantly return to Guthrie’s, keep up the good work!

I'm not happy at all. I've been hearing about this place. Not trying to be rough but you need to hear this. Your front desk staff need to take a customer service course. At no point in time should a customer feel like they are bothering them. Both gentlemen at the desk seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. The food tastes like an off brand Raising Cane's. For the hour drive, I didn't feel like I was valued as a customer and for sub par food. Fix the lock on your bathroom door. Your business has so much potential. It's too much competition out there.

We had a great experience overall. We were actually headed to your competition but decided to stop and give y’all a try. I would give the entire experience food included an 8/10. The chicken was hot n’ fresh but lacked in flavor. The food came out within 10 minutes which is always a plus.

You haven't lived until you've tried these chicken tenders. The best. I first had these over 2 decades ago at Auburn University and was delighted when learned of this one opening in Tampa.

DO NOT COME HERE. I want to like this place, but I can’t. The service is ridiculously slow for such a limited menu. Most importantly, the food always gives me a headache, so I’m very suspicious about the ingredients they use. Not sure why online pickup prices are 50% higher than ordering in person.

Food is good if it’s fresh so make sure to walk in and order. Any delivery guaranteed will be screwed up. Imagine ordering $50 worth and all your Guthries sauces were not included. Guy on the phone, “ you can drive up here if you want” lol.

I mean, its Guthrie's so if you are from the South you know...if you aren't, well in my humble opinion these are the best of the best when it comes to chicken strips (yes even better than Cane's which is a close second) Staff is always friends here and ontop of their work. Place is very clean and the wait is never bad. Food is always hot and fresh. What more can I say? Eat here!

Been going to Guthrie's since I was a wee little one in Tallahassee where I grew up. Getting a gut box on lunch from high school is a core memory. The chicken is hot and juicy and the sauce is the OG. Get it.

Who ever cooks or services food in this restaurant please make sure secure your hair s like have a ponytail , braided hair or put up buns, when I read other costumer reviews was saying that he fond hair piece in his food. So let me get too the point. Move over hooters and Wing house. This place is fixing too take over. The taste of the chicken was superb Fry's where nice and crisp and the bread that comes with the meal is very delish.Inside of the restaurant very clean very family orientated and they also have a little Bakery next door in a smoothie shop as well great place to bring the family

In my opinion this is the best chicken tenders restaurant in Tampa Bay. I used to live in Tallahassee where they had a couple of Guthrie’s restaurants so I was super excited that they added one down here. Also make sure you get some extra Guthrie’s sauce, it’s the best. The service is always amazing here and on Monday’s they offer a veteran / military discount. This place is always very clean and parking is pretty easy too. The service is always fast and pleasant.

Our go-to place when we take the kiddos to Riverwalk. They love this place. The chicken tenders at Guthrie's are hands-down the best!

Talk about good chicken fingers, fries, and their special Guthrie's sauce!! We only recently discovered Guthrie's from a friend, and it has beat out chickfila in our family vote as to where to get fast food. They are so friendly and let you substitute out for something different with 0 trouble. I definitely recommend you give them a try!

Food was not very good for the price the chicken smelled like smoke and the fries were very greasy. Was not very impressed for the cost. Definitely no chicken fil a tenders here.

Disappointing Evening Experience - Despite spending $20 on two meals, the evening food did not meet the standard of the daytime menu. The old fries served were a letdown, especially after a 10-minute wait. Hoping for improvement in the future.

This location is THE BEST! Bri was super friendly and fun, as well as professional and kind. The food was delicious and fresh as heck even though they only had an hour til close. I appreciate how clean and enjoyable the atmosphere is. They had a wonderful playlist jamming and I had a great time all while waiting for my food. I was so glad to heard that Guthrie’s was coming to Tampa and I have been a fan since finding them in Gainesville and Tallahassee. By far, the best fried chicken tenders in the chicken game and it’s really not even close and their special aka Guthrie’s sauce is so good and their sweet tea is great

Sure, the chicken is good, but the bathrooms steal the show as they are just stunning. Regal, immaculate, sophisticated. They were so stately I actually had my meal on the porcelain throne. It is pleasant to dine in such gorgeous atmospherics as these.

I'm sorry to say, the chicken was over fried, the coleslaw smelled and taste funny like it was a day or two old and the fries were overcooked to hard. But overall, the atmosphere and the customer service was absolutely wonderful.

The owner/manager asked me what I thought of the food. I gave him some constructive criticism. Instead of taking offense, he thanked me for my honesty and offered to pay for my next meal there. I returned and he did! I have since returned multiple times and will continue to do so.

The chicken tenders are served by the ounce which is much better than individual tenders, since sizes can vary. They are so absolutely tender and delicious. Even hours afterwards. The toast is excellent and the fries where comforting, the sauce a great addition to every flavor. The Coleslaw was good as well and actually really good on the toast. I can't wait to come back again.

Wow, just wow. I had very high expectations after reading the reviews, but they turned out to be true!!! Chicken is fresh and delicious, the chicken sandwich is amazing, fries are one of the best I tried. If you love chicken nuggets you must try this place! They don't have chicken on the bone, or any other protein except chicken finger, but this is why it's so good.

I just moved back to Tampa not long ago and a friend told me to check this place out. The food was fantastic! The menu is short and sweet, you don't need a million options if you can do one thing very well. I have never had chicken strips from a restaurant that were so hot and crispy yet still so juicy. Great food!

This is perhaps the best place to get chicken in the city. They have great pricing, and the chicken is perfect. Definitely the place to go for chicken tenders. They don’t have a big menu, so don’t expect much else.

First time here. I was hesitant because we had gone to Canes and didn't care for them. This definitely isn't Canes. Guthrie's had hot- fresh tender chicken. The fries are awesome. Hot, fresh and nicely salted. It also comes with slaw ,but not being a fan of coleslaw, we were able to switch it out for either more sauce. toast or fries. Sweet tea was really good too. Sauce was a nice compliment on the chicken. I would recommend Guthrie's if you tried Canes and didn't like it.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and my order was taken. The service was spectacular and my order was ready within a few minutes. My order was even brought to me as I sat and waited in one of the booths. The chicken was very flavorful. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were average but still enjoyable. The Guthrie sauce was also very good. For the price, you get your money's worth as I was not able to finish it all and had enough leftover for another meal. If you can, make the drive and order in person. If you order on an app or website, you'll pay a lot more. I would definitely recommend Guthries and I'll be back for sure!!

Husband and I stopped in on Friday afternoon and we each had a box. The staff was great, the food was amazing, it was hot and fresh! The restaurant and restrooms were clean. We will be back next time we are in Tampa!

First time dinning at Guthrie's today and the atmosphere and food are great. This location has a much larger dinning area than first appearances would suggest and it is clean and comfortable. The service was fast and friendly and we felt very welcome. The menu is refreshingly simple and the chicken is as good or better than some of the best out there. Will be back in the future. Went back today many months later and it was better than ever!
