Fish is awesome but warm . Please lose the plastic plates and back to ceramic! Lose the red dye ginger and go back to natural.. please!

This is a great place to go by yourself or with your family at lunch or dinner.

The sushi was good the calamari was like rubber the rice had no taste very disappointed

Have come here for over 2 years. Always great food and good experience. Until tonight. We waited over 45 mins, with only 4 tables occupied. 10 servers. When we mentioned we had been waiting we were laughed at. I never thought we would be ever disrespected like that.

Hands down, best sushi we have eaten in FL and actually maybe before that. Everything was fresh and so so tasty. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

Good day, I allow myself to share my experience at the restaurant. The place is nice and the entrees are excellent. However, the Thai food is not that good, although it is acceptable. I would recommend improving in that area. On the other hand, the sushi is delicious and very well presented. The cleanliness of the place is adequate. I highly recommend the sushi section, you won't regret it. Sincerely,

It was very good and close to home. Service was excellent.

This restaurant stole from me. They added a tip to my bill without my permission. When I picked up my food last night, I crossed a line through the tip portion. They decided to add a tip themselves. Let me be clear, they tipped themselves off my bill, with my money, without me writing it down or giving them permission. I left 0 tip, it was a take out order.

Excellent sushi, great selection of soups, and offer levels of heat if you enjoy spicy. Pineapple fried rice with Chicken and Pad Thai with chicken are my favorites. Atmosphere is a little jammed inside, and they are located in plaza located in the city of Palmetto.

Walked in on Wednesday night at 8:25 First thing I was told, we close at 9..I said that's fine just was looking to have 1 roll. Looking over menu I was asked multiple times what I wanted, finally I ordered. The food was good but I felt like I was rushed as they stood over me. There were other people in restaurant. Then I was given the bill when I wasn't done eating. I was so uncomfortable with the service even though the food was good I probably won't be back. I was out the door at 9:01. I did tell them it wasn't nice to rush someone like that.

The sushi is amazing. I highly recommend the crab ragoons. Their sweet and sour sauce is amazing. The sushi is a little pricey but makes up for it in taste.

We were 3 people on a Monday evening. We were seated right away; and more people arrived just after us and everyone was seated quickly. Service was great and the food was fabulous! I forgot to take pics, but I had green curry, perfect spice for me, and plenty of food; I even had leftovers. My husband had drunken noodle dish, excellent and the other person with us had General Tso’s chicken; also excellent. We started with the fresh spring rolls and chicken satay everything was great! We will most definitely be back!

This place is one of only a couple places worth going to in the area. Always on point. Always super hot, super spicy 🌶️ (by request), and fresh! I typically get veggie pad Thai with a some sushi roll. Never have a bad experience or any issues whatsoever.

I felt like the servers might be AI here. That no interpersonal connection with me at all. I would have preferred to have ordered through a machine and have them pump the food out through a hole in the wall. Cold. Very cold

My friend and I ate there in January and it was outstanding. We dined there again tonight and as a floral designer after Valentines week (65 hours) all I looked forward to was a delicious sushi roll dinner. We ordered a couple appetizers and I ordered the Tuna lovers roll. Sadly, the Ahi tuna was dark red and somewhat brownish inside. Do of course it tasted nasty. My boyfriend ordered the sashimi appetizer and his Ahi tuna was so fresh. Do you think you can put old nasty tuna inside a roll and we won’t notice?? So I came home and made a sandwich.

Some of the best and most fresh sushi you could ever ask for. They even have soy in terrific rice paper for those 9f us that cannot eat seaweed. Dinner entree was the most crunchy, tasty General TSOs chicken I ever had. You will LOVE Hideko

We've had several dishes here and each one has been delicious. I've gotten the bento box (spicy tuna) that comes with a salad, miso and a spring roll. We've also had the drunken noodles with chicken, shrimp in a curry sauce, shrimp pad thai and tofu pad thai. The pad thai dishes were a little on the sweet side but not a deal breaker. Service is attentive with iced tea always refilled without needing to ask. I'd highly recommend Hideko.

Miso soup was comforting. Like the smell of brisket. A nice Smokey flavor I enjoyed. The sushi I ordered today was cooked and melt in the mouth delish. Rather enjoyed my meal, seeing as so many restaurants leave me unsatisfied these days, food wise. Kudos! Thank you. I’ll be back. ♥️

One of the best sushi restaurants in the area. Tried the King Kong roll and a yellowtail hand roll, both were delicious. Others in my party said that they would order the King Kong roll next time.

Ordered to have delivered First and last time! Crab Rangoon was good all other dishes ordered were not flavorful, very small amount of meat which had to pay extra for. Not fresh tasting as we were expecting and very pricey

Food was amazing! Definitely recommend their gyozas, Tampa sushi, fried rice and pad Thai. Service however was where it was lacking , it was a struggle to get plates and silverware.

The shrimp tempura appetizer is on point. It came with veggies which must have been pre-boiled because they were softer to chew than expected.

Green curry w/ tofu, pineapple fried rice w/ shrimp & fresh roll w/ shrimp all PERFECTLY & individually spiced. Thank you Chef! EXCELLENT

Not good… everything is just cheap american style chinese takeout with slightly better quality veggies. Their “thai” food is the same cheap chinese takeout with some curry thrown on top and the meat portions are extremely small… the only reason this place has good reviews must be the lack food experience by the local people here who tend to not travel much or try new things. To them cheap american style chinese take out is considered gourmet. Maybe the sushi is better? Not going to find out…

I really like this place sushi is good and all their fried dishes are the bomb. The music they play is very soothing to listen to and the atmosphere is quite nice. My other favorite dish here is their drunken noodles 🍜. I will keep coming back as much as I can.

A hidden gem, get the wonton soup

Wanted something spicy for dinner and Hideko did not disappoint! Tried the Prik Khing mixed seafood dinner *Thai Hot* and it was delicious 😋🤤. Ordered for takeout and it was ready in less than 15 minutes. Very friendly staff and I will try something different next time I'm in the area.

Good food, good service. Went on a Friday night, no problem making reservations, and being seated. Three sushi chefs running flat out with both in house dining and LOTS of takeout bags at the entrance. Reasonable pricing, and friendly staff. Tried the traditional Sake (Salmon) and Unagi (Eel) Nigiri (They call 'Sushi'), and had a 'Tampa' Roll (fried snapper) which quite good. This establishment follows suit with other local Sushi restaurants in not offering 'real' crab, and only provides Krab, an imitation and significantly lesser product than the real thing. One demerit for not having a single real crab choice on the menu.

Got take out for the first time, so I couldn't give them 5 stars, although I do give them 5 stars on the food. Hopefully that stays consistent.

I been there many times with no problems. Today I asked if the mango ice cream was dairy free. My waitress did not understand me, I asked to speak to somebody else and she cursed me in her language, which I happen to understand...never go there again. If people curse you in their language, you see how much they value their guests...

The food is always excellent. Service is great. Pad Thai is always tasty. Tom Ka soup is the best. Satay is yummy. Atmosphere is nice.

What really drew me into this place is the value of the lunch special bento box. I felt like everything pictured below - soup, spring roll, ginger salad, TWO types of rolls, and the orange slice for dessert - all tasted fantastic, for such a good price. We were hoping to try the Thai tea ice cream, but it was not available that day. The good experience means we will be coming back again just to try that, plus enjoy more of the fantastic sushi. We got the sweet potato rolls and vegetable rolls, which you can see has a variety of ingredients. The service also is very good. Happy to return!

My Thai go to is pad se ew and it was very good. Love the lounge music. This time pad se ew with extra broccoli cuz life is short and I like broccoli. Yum!

I feel like the freshness of seafood is not always consistent. Other than that, we love Hideko! Always use them when we're in a time crunch for supper ideas or just need something on the fly.

Work nearby and sometimes treat myself to the business lunch they offer. I think it's from 11am. Very good quality and value.

We go so much that they know us personally. They are so juice and welcoming. The food is fresh and great.

We ordered Hideko Special Maki Sushi spider roll and caribbean roll to go. We also ordered spring rolls and calamari. The sushi was good ,but very large in size. You would need to cut it in half to eat it properly. There was ample soy, ginger and wasabi well packaged in to go boxes and well marked also. There were no extra charges for to go orders. I would not order the spring roll again.I didn't care for it but it was our first go around with spring rolls.The calamari was very unusual in that it was not the typical rings of sliced tentacle but large chunks cut into square like pieces. The flavor was fine just an unusual serving. They were very busy as usual but our order was ready to go on time. We will definitely be back, they do a nice job here. I feel the pricing is fair in todays market.

Food and service were great. The atmosphere was strange. They were playing some "soft Latin covers" radio or something. Also, Ramune costs $6.50 a bottle which is way too high.

We got the pad woon sen, lady finger and crispy calamari. The Thai hot pad woon sen w/ tofu was so good. Not at all oily and the spice was perfect. It was well balanced with the sushi!

Just read some of the one star reviews they are ridiculous blaming Uber eats for their issues. I can tell you that the pad Thai curry chicken and dumplings are the best in this area you’ll ever have
