This is a great shopping, eating, and all-around fun sightseeing boardwalk you don't want to skip if you're visiting the area.

John's Pass is a must see if you're in the area. Best shopping, restaurants, views, and quality service on the gulf coast if you ask me! Way to go John! Your Pass is exceptional! 😁

We love John’s Pass. The shops, atmosphere and food. But, we also love walking the boardwalk and looking at the water as well. Last year we saw a dolphin this year we saw a manatee. Also we saw several cranes and birds. It’s just a great place to take your family and enjoy a day full of shopping, food and sightseeing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are going to be close to St Pete, Indian Rocks beach or Treasure Island.

Great place to spend the day shopping, grabbing a beer at Mad Beach Brewery or sitting waterside at Caddy’s and hoping to catch Dolphins or Manatees swimming by.

Beware of parking and the parking guards who hide in the waters waiting for you to be a minute late, or omg get ice cream and not pay for five minutes to park a car. The place is crowded and teenagers running wild and litter multiple places. Overpriced and not worth the time. Other places around = much better.

Never got to find a parking space anywhere nearby. What I saw was just a place to spend money, not unique.

Fun place to visit if you are in Florida! You will find plenty of options to eat, drink, and enjoy water sports and activities. There is plenty of space to park, is a bit expensive but affordable. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did! Highly recommended.

Nice area to have lunch/dinner, nice shops. Convenient area to beaches and boat ride attractions.

A cool tourist trap I like to go to when I feel like being a tourist. Setup like an old fishing village with a wooden boardwalk and all kinds of shops and restaurants for you to enjoy. There are even beach areas for you to go to as well. The downsides besides it being a tourist trap full of people? Parking is expensive and the monstrosity that is the parking garage and surrounding shops takes away from the old charm this place used to have. If they would have themed it or even put up some facades on it to make it fit in with the theme of an old fishing village I could forgive it but as it stands it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Always a pleasant way to spend a day walking the boardwalk. Streets, and shopping! We especially enjoy stopping at The Spice and Tea Shop. Lori's Soaps, and grabbing a bite at The Pirate's Pub and Grub!

I got charged $45 for parking What a rip off.

Spent a Monday here and really enjoyed it. Several restaurants and stores. Walk along the boardwalk, watch the birds, saw filetting of fresh caught fish. There's a real beach fun vibe. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, loads of shells. I recommend spending time at Johns Pass.

Crazy parking fees for visitors to patronize local restaurants and shops.

Bars, Pubs, cigars, shops, pizza, sweets, and seafood! Jet skis, fishing, dolphin tours, tiki boats, pirate ships, sunset cruises!!! I love drinkin a wine slush and puffin a cigar here!!!

Had a great time with family. The views and shop were great. Most of it was easy to access, and food was good. Shelling at key island was awesome this year, but it's not good for handicapped people.

There’s a little something for everyone. Johns Pass is a great place to go and do a little shopping when you’re beached-out.

John’s Pass was so fun! Lots of places to eat, drink, eat ice cream, try new foods, buy souvenirs and visit boutiques, and enjoy water sports off the bay. All the stores are connected in an outdoor mall-type setup. Plenty of free parking and lots of hours spent making memories here in just the two days we came in July 2023. Highly recommend!

Johns pass is a must if visiting Florida. The shops side by side. Friendly, the docks with restaurants side by side and ice cream 🍨🍦, different things wings, seafood, jet skis, pirate ship, dolphin boats, etc. The best restaurant to me there as a staple is The friendly fisherman. Excellent food, fresh, and friendly, great for the whole family. The public beach is just across the road, so easy to access, and parking is close on either side.

Nice setting,rating could have been five stars. But they cheap out on rest rooms. Two one stall units for each gender One of each was out of order.

Plenty of restaurants and shopping facilities. Parking is at a premium of $3.00 per hour.

I have fished with Hubbard's in the past. Excellent experience. Had a fun time and caught quite a bit of fish. This crew, the captain and Skipper a crew member went above and beyond when this last time I became sea sick. They brought me paper towels, and ice multiple times. I can't thank them enough. My family continued to catch se wonderful fish. We went to a nearby restaurant they recommended and it was the bomb. Thanks so much to this crew. I was so thankful for you!

John’s Pass is one of my family’s favorite place to visit in Madeira Beach, FL. It has lots of shops, restaurants, and boats. I like to see the dolphins, go on the water, and learn about the pirate who found the pass. I always have fun when I go there on vacation.

This was an extremely charming place. The shops were so much fun to go to and there was a Cuban cigar shop that also sold coffee which was absolutely wonderful. Excellent experience!

Crabbys on the pass was awesome great staff,food and drinks

We took the trolley here from Clearwater beach which was $5 per person for an all day ride pass. John's pass is a nice little town that has lots of little shops, restaurants, and a small boardwalk. It was a lot less busy and crowded than Clearwater both around the shops and on the beaches. If you need a break from Clearwater beach it's worth a venture here for the day.

Nice family afternoon to do shopping and buy trinkets..The seafood was pretty pricey everywhere but delicious..Nice afternoon out!

I took my family on the Calypso boat dinner and that was nice, the dj was awesome and the food was amazing.

Loads of delicious restaurants, tourist shops, and sweets galore. That's not to mention all the dolphins popping up from the water, lots of fun for all ages!

This was a really nice discovery!! We had so much fun here. It has a bunch of cute stores, restaurants, and ice cream places. The parking was easily available and costed $3.00 an hour. Public rest rooms were clean and well maintained. Fun for all ages.
