No frills, amazing sushi spot! I recommend getting the traditional sushi & sashimi pieces, especially the salmon and eel which are super amazing! Finding good sushi is tough, but this is a diamond in the rough!

Very disappointed that they listed they are “Open” on this app and when we arrived they have a sign saying they are closed. Visiting from out of town and paid for a ride here. Please update your hours if you are closed.

We come here every time we come in town because we loved the food. We always had great service and delicious food. This time, the service was bad. The clear broth soup was delicious but the rolls were not up to the usual standards. All of my party got sick the next day and I ended up with the worst food poisoning symptoms of the group. Unfortunately, we will likely not be coming back after several years of return visits.

We were here on April 10th after a long day of fishing. We ordered poke and a few sushi rolls. Everything was excellent. We returned for dinner the very next night. We wanted to stop again before returning home from our Florida vacation, but were not able to. We look forward to eating here again on our next visit.

Unironically some of the best sushi I've had in St Pete. The sushi is made fresh and the poke bowls are REALLY well priced for the portion. Sushi can get a little expensive depending on what you're ordering, but for the flavor bomb you get you'd wonder why they're not charging more. I absolutely recommend the Best Friend and Fireman rolls (especially the Best Friend one).

This place was great and the price was right. The woman that served us was amazing. I would hire 10 of her if I had a restaurant.

Pete's is our favorite restaurant in Mad Beach! The sushi and poke bowls are fresh and high quality. The staff work hard and are very kind. They opened a second location next to the Sweet Brewnette. I highly suggest trying them the next time you are in the mood for sushi!

Tread cautiously with Celiac Disease. I indicated I needed Gluten Free. The waiter didn't want to answer questions about what’s gluten free. He said don’t order anything fried and basically walked away. I orded what should be gluten free but it came plated with my wife's fried dish. You could see her crumbs on mine. I told them I couldn’t eat it as they were touching and I needed a different one. He brought it to the kitchen counter and the chef set it on a different plate right in front of us and brought it back. So I ordered a new one. They charged me for both.

I had the poke bowl. The fish and the rest was good, but the rice was really bad, i’m mean refrigerated-from-two-days-ago bad.

A hidden gem within St Pete beach. Stumbled upon this place when searching for restaurants around St Pete beach and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately upon walking in for dinner. Service was lovely. Their ingredients were fresh, and the crispy tofu poke bowl was 10/10. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this place! Get here early though, because this place fills up quickly for dinner.

Stopped in for a quick bite after work one day. Had a chirashi bowl. Sushi rice was well-seasoned and the fish was delicious. No complaints whatsoever. In an area where everything is overpriced, this is one of the few places that doesn't gouge you.

Their rolls are always so fresh and delicious! Love ordering from here. Especially the Best Friend and Mexican rolls. They’re pretty good with modifications too, like I can request steamed shrimp vs fried. Recommend this place!

What a hidden gem! Don't let the fact that it's next to a 7/11 deter you, the sushi was really good. Not only was the fish fresh, the poke bowls were awesome, and the service was super friendly and efficient. For the price, it can't be beat!

The poke bowls are excellent and the food was very fresh. Generous portions. The owner is a real nice man who went out of his way to be welcoming. The atmosphere was ok. I went to both locations.

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Walking in, there were no smiles no greeting and we felt very unwelcomed. While ordering they didn’t smile, didn’t show any enthusiasm, seemed as if they hated their job. I understand not everyone loves their job and doesn’t want to be there but not even smiling?? When receiving our food they hadn’t asked if we needed anything else. The sushi tasted fishy and old. I’ve had better sushi in land locked states. The “crab” is also imitation.. not real. While dining I had seen one of their servers shaking their head at a table in annoyance while walking away. After being 4 pieces away from being finished (from a very large order) we were finally asked how things were. Very much so seemed like we were an annoyance and not wanted there. For being somewhere with such good reviews it was incredibly disappointing.

Me and my family have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment. After walking in the door I had to check the time because the way we were treated I thought for sure we walked in right before they were supposed to close. It was seven. Unfortunate horrible service, from a family that of severs that just wanted to enjoy a nice meal.

Oh my the poke bowl and sushi was amazing. So good I didn't get a photo. We had 4 rolls for 3 of us and we loved them all. My husband raved about his poke bowl with a spicy sauce. The service was speedy and friendly.

Got the fried Beef Gyoza and a roll that had smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado. Order was made quickly and tasted great.

Came here because my wife was craving sushi and Google reviews were high on this place. And deservedly so. My wife had the Double Shrimp and Crazy Tuna rolls, and they were both excellent. Personally I recommend the poke bowls……it is a generous portion, with unlimited veggie options, options for a rice, brown rice, greens base (or both or half each), great sauce options and assorted poke or protein options (extra portion only 3 dollars). The bowl was awesome; flavorful, healthy, and tailored to you. Great place 😎

As a sushi lover I enjoyed being here a lot! The food was great, the service from the employees was great! They answered the questions we had and knew what each thing was! As a wait time for the food, it felt right to me, the lemonade they offer is superior! Another thing I like was that we left 15 minutes after they had closed because we got there a little later. They closed at 930pm but what I enjoyed a lot was they didn’t try and get us to hurry up and get out, they still came to us and asked us how we were doing and even refilled our drinks! They offer great customer service and a very welcoming environment

Mediocre sushi and got my order wrong at pickup with one item wrong and one completely missing. Their suggestion was for me to drive back after I’m already at our vacation rental, as if that was convenient for me. The sushi was on par with Publix.

Incredible food and fun atmosphere

We came for lunch yesterday and the sushi was incredible. It was so fresh and full of flavour! Our server (sorry we forgot his name) was super helpful, kind and welcoming and offered guidance and recommendations! We were so happy we discovered this place and will definitely be back!! ☺️
