What an experience. From the top notch service the INCREDIBLE food. There is not any experience in Ocala like this. From one cook to another they know what they are doing in that kitchen. The Short rib was incredible fresh ingredients I mean it was amazing. The lobster gnocchi was probably the best mouthful of food I have ever had. Whoever made the recipe absolutely knows what they are doing. What an incredible experience for such a small town. If there is no Michelin star here there will be soon. Out of this world 20/10 great job.

Amazing dinner from start to finish. Lobster bisque and golden beet carpaccio salad had me at hello. Husband had filet with scallops that melted in your mouth. I had lobster with pasta and scallops- full of flavor! Desserts were chic looking and tasted just as good as they looked. I am a food snob and loved this restaurant. The chef even makes a point to visit every table to make sure everyone is satisfied. Happy to have this place in Ocala!!

A wonderful dining experience! The scallops were amazing, as were my other dinner companions’ entrees. The chef, Katya’s husband, came out to add a delicious garnish to my scallops entree and checked with us later. Katya is a lovely host—warm and attentive throughout our meal. We are fortunate to have a fine dining restaurant like Katya’s in Ocala.

Hands down the best restaurant in Ocala! Everything from the venue, the food, and the service is fantastic. The owners are extremely friendly and you can feel the love and the passion in every aspect of the restaurant. We’ll be back for sure.

We drove from Gainesville to visit Katya Vineyards especially due to its 4.9 rating on Google. Our meal started with a nice complimentary brochette with various butters which was a very nice touch and tasty. First thing we noticed was they had to list on the menu that if you shared a salad or entree that there would be an extra charge. Really? Very tacky in my opinion! I then had the lobster bisque which was also very tasty although I had to pull multiple shell fragments from the lobster in the soup. On to our entrees, my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass which was a nice piece of fish but the sauce accompanying it was VERY bland. I had the short ribs which had a great flavored semi glaze on it but I had to actually use my napkin to spit out multiple bites of fat. Now I realize short ribs can have some fat but my short ribs were more fat than meat. A bit disappointing. The vegetables were all under cooked on both of our plates to a point that we had to use our knives to cut them and they were hard, very hard. Lastly we had the coconut cake which was delicious. Now for the price shock! We didn't even have a cocktail and our bill still came to $200. A soup, two entrees, a shared dessert and two iced teas for $200. Now don't get me wrong....I don't mind spending money on a good experience and good food but unfortunately this was neither. The service was okay but I expected more for these kind of prices. Both my wife and I had to flag down our server for drink refills. In my opinion, the prices are too high and the food needs some more attention to detail. We ate there at 7pm and there were only 3 total tables dining. This might say something just in itself. Sorry Katya Vineyards we wanted to like your restaurant but it needs a little work to garner those types of entree prices.

This was our first time at Katya's. Nice atmosphere, great service, tasty bar selections. The appetizers, main dishes, desserts were melt in your mouth full of flavors.

Recently relocated and managed by the daughter of the original owners and her chef husband, this establishment shows potential but leaves room for improvement, reflecting a solid three-star experience. Our evening began with a soft-spoken young hostess who quietly escorted us to our table for four, despite our being a party of two. This small oversight hinted at communication gaps that continued throughout our visit. We had chosen Katia Vineyards partly because their online menu featured foie gras and a pistachio filet mignon, both of which intrigued us. However, upon arrival, we learned the menu had changed and these items were no longer available. Our waitress explained that the chef frequently updates the menu, but the website had not kept pace. This discrepancy between expectation and reality was slightly disappointing and highlighted the need for more accurate online updates. Despite these hiccups, our waitress provided attentive service, starting us off with a delightful offering of olive bread and three kinds of butter. This touch was appreciated and set a positive tone for our meal. A Chopin martini my companion ordered was well-crafted, adding to the pleasant start. Our appetizer, meatballs with tomato foam, shiitake mushrooms, and aged Parmesan, was a mix of highs and lows. The chef's personal table-side presentation of the foam was a nice touch, but the meatballs themselves were fairly average, meriting a B-. For our main courses, I opted for the Chilean sea bass with fingerling potatoes topped with pickled carrots. The sea bass was superbly cooked and full of flavor. My companion chose the bacon-wrapped duck breast on wild blueberry risotto, a unique and creative pairing that elevated the dish from a B- to an B+. With a background in Swiss hotel school training and a focus on five-star dining, I noticed several areas for enhancement. The iced tea, which tasted like it was made from a machine, lacked the freshness expected in a fine dining setting. Additionally, a noticeable delay in receiving additional bread and for an unexplained reason, my companion’s allergies were triggered, leading to a less comfortable dining experience. Could it have been from the heavy draperies? We opted not to try dessert, but the short selection did include an intriguing bacon pistachio cheesecake. Despite consuming only one alcoholic beverage, our bill came to just over $200 with tip, consistent with a fine dining price point. Katia Vineyards clearly aims to provide a top-notch dining experience. The service, while commendable in parts, occasionally felt more aligned with a three-star standard. However, the dedication of the owners to refine their offering is evident. With careful attention to feedback and a focus on enhancing their service and menu accuracy, Katia Vineyards has the potential to truly excel. A well deserved 5 star review! I was looking for a beautiful restaurant to help celebrate my husband’s new job offer. I was recommend by my friend so automatically thought of Katya. My waitress was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was romantic and angelic. The live entertainment made it even more luxurious but the thing that really struck me was how passionate the Chef is. He literally walks around to check on all of his guests, their food, and their time at the restaurant. The cocktails were good, the food was great, the service was the best, the desert was heavenly. Thank you 🩷

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 1st anniversary and our experience was better than we could’ve ever possibly asked for. We met one of the owners and she took phenomenal care of us. The food was absolutely incredible, and as someone who is unfortunately losing their sense of taste (and smell) I’m extremely glad that I got the chance to dine here while I could still taste. Thank you.

Recently moved into the area, and so fortunate to have found this restaurant. Delicious food all around. Great drink menu. And the ambiance is perfect. Especially appreciate the service that Sam (Sarah) provided, including steering us to the right dishes for our preferences. And love that the owner and chef came out to say hi. This will definitely be our go to for special occasions, and for an upscale experience going forward.

I had friends visiting from out of town and was referred to this restaurant. We decided to give it a try for the first time on 3/29/24. It is absolutely adorable and quaint inside. Bartender was very uninformed about wine selection and looked bewildered when we asked questions. We were then seated at a table where the very kind server was also not knowledgeable about the wines, so we requested assistance from there sommelier. She was very helpful. We paid $50 for wine that was worth about $20, which I guess is expected. Our meals were good but certainly not spectacular as would be expected for the $$$. My filet mignon was about a 5 out of 10. It was not tender as would be expected and was hard and crusty on the outside. The owner visited our table and was very pleasant. We appreciated this. We enjoyed our experience but I would not go back due to value for the price not as I would expect. All 4 of us are foodies, and have rather discerning knowledge of food and wine.

A must go. The food is amazing and the upscale service and atmosphere makes it the great date night, girls outting, or couples dinner spot.

Disappointing experience last night. Everything was fine until the entrees, which at these prices you'd expect excellence. My wife's filet was cooked improperly at first and lacked flavor. Her veggies we hardly able to be cut with a steak knife. My sea bass was cooked properly but lacked flavor and sat on a bed of lukewarm (at best) black fettuccini. They sent us home with a funky chocolate/cheesecake dessert as an anniversary gift. Nice touch, but funny taste. Disappointing $300 evening. Then my wife was ill from something she ate in the middle of the night.

A lovely place for a romantic and intimate dinner. Live piano and double bass. The staff were polite and attentive. The menu is selective but with options for all palates. Chef mingles and greets the patrons as time permits.

This place is home to phenomenal food, wine and cocktails! The atmosphere is great and valet parking is complimentary.

Came here for a romantic dinner while visiting Ocala. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and sweet. The restaurant is pretty chilly when the weather is cold outside. The staff is lovely, and very formal. The cocktails are a little weak. The food was decent. It was nice the Chef came out to personally thank us. Will be back when visiting the area again.

By far the finest dining experience you will have in Ocala/North Central Florida. I know the chef personally and he shops daily for the freshest seafood, etc. you’ll always find something new an deliciously creative.

I must say WOW ! The atmosphere and service were great, but the food ? The food was outstanding !!!! I never thought sweet potato fries and truffle oil went together, let alone adding crab to it. 🤤🤤 I could’ve just had that but I was greedy so I also tried their Octopus & their Wagyu… I mean, the food could be a bit pricey but it is Worth it 100% ! They had live music as well which just added to the whole experience. The waitresses and chef where just marvelous. Thank you for such a pleasant evening. Definitely an Ocala staple. Please come visit Katya Vineyards.

Wow! An absolutely amazing and delicious dinner with friends made even better with the excellent service. We all enjoyed a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday together. Patrons living near Ocala are fortunate to have this great restaurant to enjoy!

I took my wife here for an intimate dinner shortly after we moved here to Ocala. It was probably about two months ago (March 2023). Yes, it is upscale and the atmosphere is wonderful. It is certainly on the expensive end. Honestly, I can not rave about our entrees. I had duck which in my opinion was WAY undercooked and not all that tasty either. It was just "OK". I was certainly not blown away. I do not remember what my wife had but she also was not impressed with her meal either. We also had a glass of wine. We spent well over $100 for the two of us and I do not feel it was money well spent. I will give it high marks for atmosphere but that is about it. The service was good but nothing extraordinary. I have had equally good service at cheap diners. I would not recommend it. I guess it is good to try all the downtown Ocala restaurants to get an idea of what is there and then make your own decision on which you like the most. We have tried at least half and I would have to say I prefer Ivey's, Harry's and Mark's Prime over Katya Vineyards. We will absolutely not being going back.

What a fabulous place! Everything was perfect. The owners. The service. The ambience. The wine. And, of course, the food. It was exquisite. Yes it is costly, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for. I highly recommend Katya Vineyards for a delightful experience.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Ocala. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food by Tony is creative and absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal on the downtown square highly recommend!

I wanted to treat my mom, grandma & sister to a special dinner to celebrate my Mom’s 50th birthday. I had did some digging online to find a few nice restaurants and came across Katya. Words cannot describe how amazing my experience has been, from my first call to them discussing my reservation, all the way to saying goodbye on our way out. Katya, her sweet parents & Chef completely surpassed our expectations. Kathryn helped me make our dinner extra special with a beautiful hand-written birthday card, sparkles at the table, and a delicious bottle of wine and cheese board awaiting us at our table. I am forever grateful to her and her family for putting in so much effort to make my mom feel SO special. We will definitely be back for more! Thank you all so much!!! If you’re reading reviews and considering dining here, don’t even give it a second thought!

We had a party of eight that went out for a special birthday dinner and Katya's indeed made it special. The chef's passion for his craft comes through on every dish served to the table. The service is appropriate, unpretentious, lighthearted, and fun.

Everything was perfect! The chef brought out all our courses himself, the plates looked amazing and the food was even better then it looked. I cannot say enough about how perfect this evening was. What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary.

A wonderful special occasion for us. The atmosphere is very upscale and elegant. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Staff is incredible with attention, suggestions and service. Truly a family-run operation. We enjoyed visits with the owners and chef. We were delighted with our menu choices: Steak Tartar, Black Ink Fettuccine, Scallops and a terrific Mango Guava Cheesecake for dessert. With expert and detailed advice we also tasted a couple of interesting international wines before choosing the Au Bon Chardonnay. It was a great experience and we definitely plan to come again.

Took my wife to Katya Vineyards for our anniversary. I have been in Ocala for 35+ years and this was the best food experience I have received. It is not a cheap experience, but well worth it. The atmosphere, food, wine, and the service was fantastic. We will be back!

High end restaurant with great food. The Chef, Tony, makes multiple stops at your table to talk to you and ensure your food is as advertised. Our food was amazing. The setting is such a beautiful place with rustic accents. It is higher end and therefore not at the low end of cost and a reservation is required. But it is worth it!! Great wine selections from Vineyards all over the world. Definitely a place you should go if you are looking for high end cuisine in downtown Ocala. Highly recommend.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend for an anniversary dinner. Luckily we came early and were able to secure a table without a reservation, although that is certainly recommended. We were seated in a comfortable, quiet spot and attended to quite well by Katya herself! There was light, live music to add to the ambience. We chose the 4 course food and wine pairings and shared the different plates. Everything tasted wonderful, hope to visit again and try something new.
