YALLLL!!! Yum!! I got the Al Pastor and the Carne tacos... SO freaking good!! Of course the peeps are friendly. The atmosphere is what it is, it's a food truck, but they have shade and tables and the cutest chair made from a log. Try it out, maybe not a burrito from what I can tell from the other reviews. The tacos, however, are amazing!

Service? Negative 10. They don't speak to you. They barely speak English. Enough to get your money and serve overseas ones and dry tacos. I spent a lot to be ignored and had to ask multiple times about what the order entailed just to get short toned and rude service. Never again.

WOW! The tacos were amazing and the customer service was top notch! I can’t overstate how great of an experience eating here was. My family and I had La Guerrera, Al Pastor, and the Shrimp tacos. La Guerrera was my personal favourite but they were all delicious! We also had Carne Asada and Pollo Quesadillas and they were the best quesadillas I’ve ever had. The sauces complement the food so well. Very satisfying and the staff were so friendly and charismatic. Will definitely be going back and recommending to family and friends.

Being from Los Angeles.... this just brought me a little slice of home that I have been missing very much. Visiting our apartments was truck #2. Great service and absolutely great food. The Al pastor is on point. And when you asked me hot or mild sauce I was prepared to be disappointed as Jax does not know hot sauce!!!! I was not disappointed it is literally fire! These nachos are killer!!!! Thank you for making my LA heart happy.

The staff was amazing kind and considerate asking what you wanted and made fresh when I say these tacos are out of this world that is an understatement. I have been thinking about them all day cannot wait for the opportunity to go back and try the rest of the menu fantastic find and just so very HAPPY I stopped by and gave them a try. I had chicken shrimp and carne asada tacos and it was spectacular too my taste buds

Just got tacos and burrito from their food truck and the food was amazing!!!! Both beef and chicken were tender and delicious but what struck me was the sauce! Absolutely loved it! The service was also great, cashier was super nice, helpful, and funny. Loved the experience! Highly recommend King Tacos!

Had King Tacos for the first time yesterday & omgosh the atmosphere, the customer service, the food -- the whole vibe was just right!! We talked about our families and different foods. My husband and I will definitely be back. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had the beef tacos. Everything was perfect 🤌🏿

I’ve been hearing about how good the food was here for a while. My husband and I tried it out for lunch today. He had the Steak Burrito and I had the Steak Quesadilla. Both were delicious 😋 The young man that took our order was very friendly. I highly recommend.

You’ve got to be kidding me if you think this place is good. I bought a carne asada burrito that cost 16$ after tax and a15% tip. People from Jacksonville have no clue about how to cook or what good food is. Take a trip out west or up north and stop eating garbage

The flavorless tacos, the dry meat, the hard tortillas, the sauces don't taste like anything, and seeing his face and the way they serve, my hunger went away. He even got angry because I asked him for a napkin because even that is terrible.

I’m Taking my wife out on a date for the first time in a while. We found this place, ithad good reviews so we were excited. We get there and the person don’t even speak to us. I’m still very friendly to him. We asked him a couple questions, he was very short and barely spoke. We Had to ask him to repeat it three times. Then we get the food And it was the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had!!! I am more than disappointed that I wasted the money but more than that the time with my wife when I don’t get much time with her in the first place! DO NOT GIVE them Your Time or Money!!!!!

Chicken was dry, but very satisfied with the al pastor and chorizo tacos.

Their food truck has visited our complex twice and we can’t wait until they come back again! The food is awesome and the owners are very nice. 10/10 highly recommend

Had the al pastor burrito, overall wasn't a bad burrito. Just not what I was thinking for a small trailer near a gas station. Where I'm from those are the best places to get authentic Mexican. Not Chipotle level food and service. Tortilla was done right though. Idk man, maybe I just miss Cali mex food....

Don't let the pictures fool you, the food was sub par, I honestly had high hopes but was let down very quickly with tacos. Papusas awesome, quesadilla with cheese great. Couldn't try the tamales because they were out at 1230. Just don't have high hopes is all. Rice no bueno. Beans great flavor but soupy

All around authentic delicious Mexican cuisine. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat for a good quality and price this is the best place to go. Food is fresh and rich in flavors. Couldn’t ask for a better lunch spot

The food is okay, now. Full disclosure: I was one of their first customers after King's Tacos started. That was about three years ago. These days the owner & his kids aren't there as often as the first year-&-a-half. So the peones are left to run the truck. They do...but as others have said, the meat is a bit dry these days with the sole exception of the chorizo. It's less flavorful also, maybe because of less seasoning. That's not to say you shouldn't stop by. You should. I still buy their tacos & burritos...not as much, but I buy it. Everything is better when the owner &/or his son or daughter are there. Either way, the food is still better than anything you'll get from the clown, the colonel or the bell.

The reason for my 4 stars is the gentleman that was there today did not seem happy that he had to work today and the chicken tacos were pretty dry. The carne asada was good and so was the rice and beans!

Wasn’t planning on leaving a review but after scarfing down the best chorizo taco I’ve ever had, I felt compelled. Will be back every time I’m in town.

Kings tacos really impressed me. The tacos had good flavor. I was expecting a little more heat on the red sauce but nevertheless it complimented the tacos very well. I will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.

Was transient through and needed a quick snack. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing!!!!! Will definitely stop by if I ever transit through that area again.

Great authentic Mexican food freshly made while you wait.

I was passing by and decided to give them a try today. I love authentic Mexican tacos. I ordered the #1, three carnitas taco platter. Let’s start with the good. Double corn tortillas? Check. Hot refried beans? Check. After that all things trend downward. Meat was dry and overcooked. Edges were so dry they were crispy and sitting around. The temp of the rice was luke warm but the beans were scalding hot. The rice was unseasoned processed typical yellow rice. Refried beans had the canned taste. The biggest culinary crime was the hot sauce, an odd spicy vinegar that looked like Italian dressing. No traditional red habanero red sauce. (Lament) The greatest crime: $18 for a water, 3 tacos, beans and rice. I feel cheated. Overall, C- It’s good for a fix but look elsewhere. Check out Happy Taco Feliz at 12553 N. Main St. in Jacksonville for the best in the region.

Looking for some amazing Taco's? Do not sleep on this place! I wouldn't quite call it a restaurant but the food is above restaurant quality... you've never had a real taco until u try this place!!

We ordered shrimp, Pollo, chorizo, and tamales Rojo and Verde. Everything was sooooo good. Our new favorite!!

Food was top notch and authentic. Location was super chill and relaxing for a quick meal especially if you have a dog. Owners were extremely kind and sweet and even gave our dog a couple tacos on the house. Definitely saving this place and returning frequently

Amazing taco truck located 5 minutes outside of NAS JAX base with super friendly and helpful staff! Affordable, delicious and highly recommend if you’re in the area! They made my tacos “con mucho amor!!!” (Chefs kiss!!) During this recent visit, I ordered my tacos and ate them there. Tried both green and red salsa and both were delicious and fresh! The food truck is located next to a gas station and they have two tables with chairs in a covered awning. They do have an option to call ahead and order for pick up as well as ordering on site and taking it to go! Again, 10/10! Will go back to try their pupusas!

Wow. Really good tacos. Would definitely recommend. there are a few tables if you want to eat there. Great place to walk to if you are staying in the Hampton Inn or the Garden Inn to avoid driving.

Saw this place while taking a road trip to go camping. Stopped to check it out. What a great discovery. The owners were very friendly and helpful with their menu. The food was prepared fresh to order and prompt. We both got the burrito. It was absolutely the best burrito 🌯 I have had since leaving California 25 years ago. I will be back and please do yourself a favor stop at this food truck today. There is a photo of the owner with DeSantis but I ignored that. Lol I hit this place often. I do want to say. There is a difference when the son is here and not the father. It's still really good, but the dad is way better.

I drive by this place all the time and decided to try them out. I got the carne asada tacos with red salsa and OMGGGGG! The meat was wonderfully seasoned but that salsa?! Talk about a kick! It was just the right about of heat and just boosted the flavor of the tacos to the next level. I paired them with some sangria for dinner and I am very pleased and excited to go back and try more on their menu. The customer service was great and the food came out in a very timely manner. I got my order to-go, but there are a few tables to eat outside, and music that gets your toes tapping. I encourage anyone interested to give them a shot😉

AMAZING tacos!!! Was in town visiting, saw this stand, and glad I did. The asada tacos were slightly seasoned, juicy, and filled with a lot of meat. The beans and rice were also really good. Customer service was great, and our food came out hot, fresh, and quick. I’ll definitely visit again when in town.

Food truck outside gas station. Has nice overhang and a few tables. Legit street tacos!! Two was enough to fill me up for lunch. Delicious. I went with the mild sauce and think I'll try the hot sauce next time. Their beverage choices are limited but luckily there is a gas station right next door. Definitely recommend.

King’s tacos is the best genuine Mexican food you can find anywhere near orange park…they are great people and it’s shown in their food. You’re Missin out if you’ve never eaten there. Go get some of the best tacos u could imagine!

We’re from out of town visiting Jacksonville on business. Following the advice of the locals we decided to stop by Kings Tacos. Everything was fantastic. Definitely coming back!

We REALLY wanted to love King's Tacos. The service was wonderful. However, the tacos were missing seasoning and the carne asada was very bland as well. We were truly surprised based on all the wonderful reviews. The prices were a bit on the higher side, but we know costs are up due to inflation. It is nice to be able to grab a drink from the gas station and head to the outdoor tables to enjoy a few tacos/dishes.

The shrimp taco was salty for me the carne asada taco was a tough one. I personally didn’t like either taco. I gave them three stars because the service was great the food just didn’t match.

First time trying out Kings Tacos. I ordered 1 carne asada, 1 shrimp, and one al pastor taco. Tacos looked good on a first glance but once I started to eat them I was a bit disappointed. I'm pretty sure I was given some sort of ground beef instead of my Carne asada. If what I ate was actually the Carne it was definitely one of the worst I've ever had. All 3 tacos were extremely mid grade and unimpressive. I personally would not recommend anyone to get those 3 tacos I ordered above. I was the only customer there so not much excuses to be made on the above. Hopefully caught at a bad time but was really bad first impression. 🤷

Just moved to JAX & this is literally my favorite taco spot 💗 I come here almost every week. Food is always hot and authentic & service is always amazing.

Idk maybe I’m missing something but this is my second time and it’s just not for me.

The cashier at this spot was very positive. She was also very willing to assist me with selecting the best sauces and items for someone who is typically not used to tacos or food trucks. The food was fantastic and I am positive I will go here again.

I came here for lunch during a work trip. We had a group of 7 people and we all got our food very quickly. And it was delicious! I got the carne asada and al pastor tacos and they were awesome. Get the spicy salsa! The owners/servers were very kind and friendly! I definitely recommend for a quick bite. Or you can take your time and chill outside in the covered patio area.

The food was great! The guerrera style taco was amazing and something I haven’t had before. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
