This restaurant is the real deal with authentic cuban food everything made from scratch. The flavor for the food is to die for. I will 100% be back and taking friends.

Food was delicious. The Spicy G sandwich was a smack in the mouth of authentic flavors. I was shocked after my first bite. Ordered a sangria and a sweet tea. Both tasted absolutely homemade and one of a kind. The owner was very friendly and polite giving all details of the menu and what she had to offer. The place is decorated wonderfully with art around every corner. I came in close to closing time and was welcomed with open arms. There is a surprise patio out back where there is more seating and area ro have a nice lunch. Will return and try to eat everything off the menu. Thank you again for that delicious lunch.

Incredibly well cooked and seasoned items. One of the best lunches we’ve had in town in a long time. Lots of care and thought put into this menu. Can’t recommend enough. This is one to support and keep around.

My wife and I love this place for lunch. We always split a Cuban sandwich and get something else new from the menu. The empanadas and the pastries are a good add on. We have loved everything we eat here. I love that the sandwich is huge.

I was not impressed with the little hole in the wall place. However, they did the best with what they could with their space. The lady and the gentleman/cook were friendly. The problem I had was where the sandwich that cost $12.$.50 and that did not include the cost of french fries on the side. So you walk out of the joint with a $16 lunch that doesn’t even include a drink! Absolutely ridiculous! No, my real issue, was with the sandwich! No wonder the sandwich was $12.50 because they stuffed the sandwich with so much meat you felt like you were Gorjan a damn pig! Way, way too much meat! So much that it made the sandwich very unenjoyable ! I had to throw out more than half of the meat just so the consistency worked with the bread, the cheese and the pickles! I would’ve preferred the typical Cuban sandwich that cost eight dollars that came with fries that had the appropriate amount of meats that made the meal enjoyable! Now I’m throwing away more than half the meat from the half sandwich and the other half a sandwich island up, throwing the other half of that away and wondering how in the hell to even reheat the thing and make it enjoyable. I feel like I wasted my money on lunch today, although they prepared it well, they need to go back to understanding the principle of what is customary and reasonable, what is a decent portion instead of trying to find ways to raise their prices, and stuffing in their sandwiches with so much meat that it makes it unpleasant to eat. I’ve never had a Cuban sandwich like this for a cost or with such an extreme amount of meat that it turned me off.

Very nice and great customer service! We walked in right at closing (we didn't realize until after we left). The lady gave us a menu and was open to any questions. I noticed her interactions with customers before me were as if they were family or a friend. The place is clean, welcoming, and has a courtyard out back. I haven't even tried my to go empanada, but my sister is devouring hers. I can't wait to come back.

The empanadas are to die for, especially with the sauce! Cafe con leche was delicious too! Highly recommend!

My favorite place for a cuban sandwich!!!

This small restaurant is spectacular from the huge servings to the fun atmosphere. It's one of my favorites in Duval. Check out the specials! Delicious.

Food was excellent and service was as well. This is absolutely a hidden gem. Fast , friendly and delicious.

I almost missed this spot! The sign outside is a little small but Google does a great job of taking you right to it. It's beside the Dollar Tree. Super cute! Not loud or noisy and the employees are very friendly. Everything was amazing and smelled so good. I will definitely be back here.

Try the fresh empanadas! They’re a generous size and definitely homemade. The sandwich is amazing. The sauce, the meat, the bread, everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean and cute. There’s even a back patio with a bar.

Quaint spot for really good cuban food!

Food was delicious. The sauces were spot on. We had sangria which was wonderful. Bread fresh. The meat was tender. Excellent employees. The only bad thing is we had not eaten here before.

So glad I found this place! They bake their own bread. The Cubano was excellent. The tamarind ice tea has fresh fruit in it…yum! There’s a beautiful patio in the past. And Cely is so kind. I will be back!

Legit Cuban joint! Grew up in Miami and this place is my favorite up in Jax. Mom and pop joint, delicious food, great cafe and the prices are what you would expect in Miami not inflated because it’s a “speciality “ item or some other baloney that you hear.

Not exaggerating; this is the best food I've had in a long time. And I mean food, out of every kind of food I like. I didn't know you could eat this good for less than $20.

EAT HERE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! The great amount of care and thought that goes into the food and hospitality here is very obvious. Great local small business! Very friendly, and the food is so well made. Lots of things made fresh in house, even the bread is baked fresh. LOVE IT!!!

Wow!!! Great atmosphere but let’s get to the food. The Cuban sandwich was amazing. Finished it with bread pudding and a Cuban coffee. I don’t care what happens for the rest of the day the smile won’t leave my face 😁👍🏼
