Visited Laredos for lunch while in starke for some weekend shopping. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was casual and quiet. My friend ordered something with beef and chicken over I rice. I had the spicy burrito, both were delicious. Stop by and give them a try.

I must gush about this place! This is the BEST TexMex I have had in years! I actually remembered to photograph the food before we ate everything. The sweet tea was awesome too. From the moment we walked inside, the restaurant, food, and service was excellent! My only regret is that we were only visiting the area and I cannot go here every week😂

I tried a new menu item. The food & drinks were great. Service was great too. Food again was great. Service was too. At 5pm we walked right in. When we left at 7pm, it was packed out. This trip went just as good as our last. Food was good, but the pork chops were raw. The Wife has never enjoyed undercooked meat. She didn't send it back, like I suggested, because it could have been fixed. Everything thing else was good as usual. Thanks.

The food is very low quality; I ate lunch inside last year too and it isn't any different now. I won't go back. The employees provide good customer service, the restaurant is air conditioned well, has positive energy and music inside, I wasn't cramped at my table.

Food came out fast. Service was attentive. Will definitely go there again when we are in that area.

Service was a tad slow and the building and decor are somewhat dilapidated. The food is about the same price as most other Mexican restaurants but the portion sizes are enormous and they have a few dishes here I haven't seen elsewhere, like a burrito with fries and ranch on it. Definitely worth the visit.

We were very disappointed this visit and have been the last few times. Margaritas were very weak and watered down, the food was dried out and the tortillas were tough on the burritos. We only go out once a week and this was overpriced ($80 for 2 people) and a huge letdown.

We arrived at Laredo, were seated immediately and served by a polite and friendly young woman. Our food came fast too, and it was all delicious, generously sized portions of enchiladas sueza and a huge margarita! If I lived in or anywhere near Starke, I'd eat here regularly. But I don't, and the food itself is not the reason I am writing this review. I am writing it to make sure that anyone who has the chance to eat at Laredo does, because you will be supporting a small business that has heart, soul, and class. You see, I ended up at Laredo a bit by accident. My husband and I were driving from Sarasota back home to Philadelphia, and it was on our path and had good reviews. We had a pleasant dinner in their nice environment; it wasn't until the next day, somewhere in the middle of Georgia that I realized I had left my wallet, filled with my drivers license, insurance cards, and many credit cards, on the table. When I called the young woman I spoke to immediately knew about the wallet and told me she'd get her manager David to call me back and let me know how they could get it to me. When he returned my call he was at the post office preparing to overnight ship the wallet to me, at his expense. He refused to let me pay for it, texted me a photo of the receipt with tracking number, and generally acted as if he was truly happy to do this unbelievably important and reassuring favor for me. Instead of making me feel like either an idiot (which I truly was!) for leaving my wallet behind or as if I was inconveniencing him in some way (which I also undoubtedly was) it was evident that David actually did take some pleasure in returning my wallet to me. It really not only warmed my heart and calmed me down in my panic, but made me wish I lived closer so I could support this business. So, if you live in the area, if you're passing through, or if you can get there easily, eat at Laredo and feel good about not only having a terrific meal but supporting a business that is a class act.

very bad food. Tacos don't put any sauce, they give you the musma of the tortillas. I would never come back to eat....good service.

Quaint little restaurant with cool artwork and great food! The staff are friendly and service was excellent and not far at all from Best Western, where we were staying.

Get the fajitas or quesadillas. The cheese dip is to die for. Go for steak over beef every time. And all the deserts are worth the money.

Not from the area,visited this establishment and everything was OUTSTANDING!

Enchiladas were soupy and rice was bland. Tamale was crusty like it had dried hard. Can't find a reason why we would return.

Tacos al pastor, quesa birria, enchiladas, pastor burrito, all excellent!! Fernando, our waiter, was very attentive! Quick service.

Typically, I love this place. Gets 5 stars every time, but I guess I don't know. Maybe they were really extra busy the night. I went there this time. The food wasn't the same. The service sucked and it just wasn't A good experience. But like I said, this place is awesome. I just hope it was just people had a bad night that night. Because I go there a lot.

My first time going there and I ordered C6 ....so instead of the man telling me that it's not the regular chalupa that you would maybe get from Taco bell ..I'm not trying to Compare the To but he could of said that it's not that...but Instead that's they are going to give me a flat core tortilla with topping on it 😩😡 Im upset

This was a really shocking dining experience for me. And for ALL the right reasons. Absolutely amazing Mexican food. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The sauces and cheeses used are higher quality than any other Mexican place in my life. Just straight up delicious food

Food was amazing! I ordered off the new item menu, chicken with zucchini, squash and mushrooms. Incredible flavors in the dish. Price is very reasonable. Service was good, just not incredible. The folks with us said because the restaurant is really busy. I would definitely go back. Everything served to our table looked and smelled delicious.

Always good food. Hot fresh and delicious. We had steak fajitas, and a combination platter C11 which doesn't come With rice and beans so we added them on the side. Very enjoyable lunch. We had leftovers so we were able take them for another meal. The area around the building is a little rough and uneven so extra care should taken.

Place was busy when I arrived. It's a local hangout restaurant. The place has a crowded interior, lots of tables jammed in a tight space. I ordered the Texas fajitas. The fajita was a mix of grilled onions, beef, chicken and shrimp. It was served with a side dish of shredded lettuce, refried beans, tomato salsa and sour cream along with the tortillas. Overall the food good but not exceptional. The beef in the fajitas mix was only slivers and overall missing , chicken content was a little better and there were 5 shrimp in the single portion I ordered. Comes with no charge chips and salsa. (Not heated) My total bill with iced tea and tip was $25.57 with 18% tip. The service could have been better. No drink refills offered and waitress should have been more attentive. I'll give it 3 out of 5 I'll flip a coin to see if I'll go back.

Best burrito I have ever eaten.

Was there for lunch. The place was clean and the service was prompt. Didn't have to wait long for my meal to arrive either. Very nice experience.

The food is good but the real surprise was that I got the food in maybe five minutes after ordering I was amazed highly recommend

The server we had was in some sort of mood or something. The other server there was very friendly and brought us our queso after the first server said that they didn't have any. Food was really good, really good enchiladas. The outside isn't winning any awards but the inside is a cozy Mexican restaurant. Overall I would go again.

We were 6 guys and we all had steak.. I had churrasco medium and the rest had ribeyes. I returned my steak because it was so hard to eat.. the next one wasn't any better. My friends ribeye wasn't good he ordered well done and still was having trouble cutting it into pieces. Drinks were good and service was great. There's more good food to choose from. Like my neighbor said after I told him about the steaks: who in his right mind eats a steak at a Mexican restaurant. Get some tacos! Lol

The only thing I have to complain about is I don't think they should charge almost 3 for a kids drink. Specially when he never got a refill and he got a adult meal instead of a kids meal which is more. I understand they have to charge but atleast charge half of what you charge a adult

Laredo's has been a go-to most of my life. I moved away over a decade ago but I still drive to eat there pretty regularly. They're always friendly, the food is always delicious, and I always leave stuffed. Don't miss this place if you're passing through the area.

Have Been eating at the Starke Location Since it opened in the 90’s! The only location I go to!!! Except for occasionally Lake Butler! Excellent Food and Service!

my family went to eat there all in total it came out to 75$ for 4 people we gave the man 100$ waited for the change when asked for it he lied to my mom sayin that we told him to keep it when we did not than set there with a very rude tone bc we didn’t want to give him all the money will never be eating there again

Cheese enchilada and steak fajitas were delicious. Taco and chalupa were okay. Prices were very reasonable, a menu with lots of variety, and complimentary chips and salsa were provided.

The food was amazing, the people were amazing and I got drunk on 3 long islands.

Laredos has excellent authentic Mexican food and delicious skinny margaritas with freshly squeezed limes. Brenda is an excellent waitress who enjoys her job and David is the man for drinks when visiting Starke!

Zero to no handicap accessibility for starters. Had to go out in the street with wheelchair just to get in or out of entrance. No handicap parking. BARELY able to squeeze through bathroom door. Parking lot and building need A LOT of repairs. Food and service were VERY iffy. Not to mention as we were leaving one of the staff was vacuuming vehicle in parking lot. This restaurant used to be a pizza hut. As are most it seems these days. No problem. However, spouse and I have both worked in service / restaurant business and there's ALWAYS something to do. This establishment was not that busy yet staff was just standing around. Drinking sodas, talking, sitting down.

It’s okay considering where it is, but def could be better. There place was packed lol so people from the area seem to love it. If they had some Tapatio available that would def help. I’ll try it a few more times and change this review if I just happened to come at a bad time. Thanks! Update: okay, the service is wonderful, but the food just isn’t good! I’ve tried going a few times and it’s just “okay” at best. Perhaps people are drinking alcoholic beverages with the food? I would love to love this place, but I can’t give it even grade it as a “C” as far as the food goes. As a Mexican American, I’ve had my fair share of trying Mexican foods in different cities but I’m sorry, but this place doesn’t make remotely good Mexican food.

It was my dad's birthday this Mexican restaurant knocked it out of the park the food was wonderful the atmosphere made you feel like you were an Old Mexico in a Cantina my dad really enjoyed it they gave him a really special birthday cake and my mom she made sure that I had plenty it was all good just so good you owe it to yourself to come and visit this wonderful wonderful restaurant right here in Stark oh and don't forget to say Gary Lee sent you and remember the customer service the young lady that served as she did an outstanding job wonderful her name is Michaela make sure you ask for her she'll treat you right she made us feel very important and that we mattered she made us feel special

We went for lunch and the food was amazing. The service is fast and the prices are better than fast food. We would of paid the same to eat at Taco Bell and it wouldn't of been nearly as good.

Best Mexican food ever! Crispy, light nachos and taco shells. Salsa was just right. Good cheese enchiladas, beans and rice. Excellent, friendly service. A great find. highly recommend!

First time I ever visited this place, definitely will not be the last. The food was great, excellent taste and quick service. Got there around opening at 11:15 or so, and it was slammed by 12:15. They took care of all customers with quick, efficient, and personal service. Really enjoyed the visit.

Not many options in Starke for great Mexican food, but I always go to Laredo and have always had great service and food. Definitely great food and a nice menu with plenty options from seafood to vegetarian.

The best authentic Mexican food that you could ask for at a very reasonable price. The staff is very attentive and very friendly as well., I highly recommend this place as you cannot get any closer to Mexico without driving there,Their Margarita's are to die for.
