My fiancé and I came here for diner and the food was amazing. Service was amazing and for the price we will be visiting again.

I don't think it's that good. I bought some orders that I spent around 60 dollars and I couldn't eat because look, the grilled chicken is soaked in water. The tostones are fried for several days, fried in burnt oil because they are black. The white rice stops. Like the one they put on the pigs in Cuba Mercochado and yellow, the congris only tastes garlic without salt or flavor and the fried yucca is soaked in oil and a puree, what a bad reputation for Cuban food, my God, more respect for Cuban food than Cósimada is very delicious by great chefs. Cubana, if they are going to serve food that is with everything and respect for the people who are spending their money

This place was 5 stars when it first opened, but the quality has not been the same recently. The food is a lot more bland, and with seemingly lower-quality ingredients. I don't know if they changed suppliers, or cooks, or what, but I really miss what it used to be.

It's a decently good place to eat around the Ann Arbor area for some Latin American cuisine. We ordered various food along with the Saturday specials. The waitress was very courteous and nice to us.

I come for the Cuban wrap with steak usually! I ordered it for delivery last night and ended up getting a sandwich which was a mistake. I called them before close and came in the next day and they replaced it quickly and were very friendly. Highly recommend due to service being so friendly. The Cuban wrap with steak, plantains, and croquettes are my favorites. Bought extra pastries in the front today as well. Great staff and atmosphere.

I was here today 5/28/2024. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a bottle of Mexican Coke a cola. The Cuban sandwich was large and delicious best I’ve had anywhere north of South Florida. I will definitely be stopping in again the next time I’m in the area. Great service very clean restaurant. Thank you.

I am part Cuban from Miami Fl. I found this place since I was homesick. This food is authentic, the employees are kind and you get a good bang for your buck. I recommend to anyone wanting to try real Cuban food!

The food was good and the girl is so nice

I have been going here every few weeks for two months. The last time I ordered the Pilomilla they gave me two very thin steaks. Well tonight they gave me half as much steak by only giving me one thin steak. I called to ask why it was different and the girl said they were supposed to weigh the meat, but some cooks give one steak, and some give two depending on who is working. Not an acceptable answer after I paid $20 thinking I would get what they gave me the last time. I will not be returning if they intend to charge so much and provide only half the steak.

I am really hoping this restaurant picks up its game. I’ve been there many times since it first opened. The food is inconsistent, at best. Most visits I’ve been disappointed. Some dishes have been good, just got to bring it up a notch.

I had the Ropa Vieja with a salad and a Guarapo de Caña to drink. The food was very good and a nice size portion. Edit: I took the leftovers home and made tacos the next day. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the cane juice, it was not freshly made as it was already browning when I received it. I mixed it with lime juice once I got home to make it taste better.

This food is amazing. Best plantains in town. I love the specials, special Imperial Rice, and also the milkshakes. The dinners and even sandwiches are quality and also generous portions, enough for two meals for a robust adult. Milk shakes are also delicious. Typically, the place has very few people at a time, which is shocking given how excellent it is.

The ropa vieja was delicious and the staff was very nice! I also loved the black beans but wish I could have gotten beans And rice.

We got the ropa vieja to go. Flavor was really good but portions of rice And beans were small, maybe because we placed it as a take out and the size of the containers? Also wish there was both rice and beans served w the meal, not just one or the other. The staff was really friendly and definitely recommend

I have been desperately seeking authentic Cuban food in metro Detroit and Latin American Cuban Cuisine absolutely hit the spot. The restaurant was wonderfully decorated and the staff could not have been more friendly and kind. They ensured my catering items were made as close to pickup time as possible so they'd be at peak freshness when I arrived. The interior was a wonderful wave of nostalgia and reminded me of great Cuban spots in South Florida. And while it's certainly a bit of a drive, the fact that I don't have to fly all the way to Miami for deliciously fresh Cuban bread, croquetas, or a proper Cafe Cubano is pretty much a blessing. Now that I've found it, I'll definitely be making regular trips over to dine here again and again.

My husband ordered the chicken fricassee which he really enjoyed. I had the churrasco steak. I wasn't happy with it because it was very tough. The rice and beans, plantains, and the boiled yuca were very good. The Cuban bread or the pastries were not ready, even though they had been open for over an hour. Only 2 other couples were there but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food.The prices are high. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The Latin American name reminds most Cubans of the chain in Florida that has really good Cuban food. This is mediocre at best. The Mamey Milkshake should not have that name. It has no trace of Mamey in it. This restaurant needs a better Cuban cook for sure. The service was good.

When you go to eat at the restaurant the steak and chicken have restaurants standar size when you order food by Uber , door,dash etc the sent you half of the chicken and they take the steak and cut it in half 😂😂 wao

It’s nice to have Cuban food in the area! The beans and rice were tasty. The chicken needs a little more flavor to excite someone who has had plenty of Cuban and Latin American food. It missed the mark. Also, the entrees sides’ description is unclear. I was under the impression I could have salad and plantains as well. For 17 dollars a plate, I anticipate a little more than just rice, and tiny amount of beans, and flavorless chicken. A little more work to be done for my entree but it seems like they are still working on the menu some. I would try it again but need clarity on what I should get for the entree: “rice or beans, plantains, and salad” is a bit confusing and you should ask the customer what they want if there are only options.

Had the special for lunch today. What a fantastic pork dish! The pork was very tender with lots of flavor. The price for the meal was very reasonable. I highly recommend the restaurant.

I absolutely loved this place. I went today for the first time, churrasco (medium well) is amazing, flavorful congris as perfect combination with maduros. Delicious Pastry (I tried 3 of them: guava, coconut and cheese/guava). I also tried a typical dessert named “Flan”, awesome: creamy with a pinch of vanilla. I’ll be back with my family. This food is great!!

What a find, been back twice in 3 days it's so good! This spot has the best Cuban food I've had outside of Miami. The ropa vieja is tender and flavorful, with perfectly cooked rice/beans and plantains. Just so good!! The vaca frita was a new dish for me, basically ropa vieja crisped up to a meaty perfection. The churrasco was also perfect, browned on the outside with still a hint of pink in the middle, hard to do with a thin cut of steak. And the chimichurri-like topping was herby and delicious, a great compliment to the beef. The guava and coconut pastries were flaky and sweet and addictive. I'm looking forward to checking out everything on the menu after scoring a 10 on literally everything we've tried there so far. This is going to become a favorite spot in our local neighborhood that really needed some better food options like this one!

Muy lejos de la cultura cubana. La televisión y la música que se escucha en el lugar NO es apropiada para el lugar, e incómodo para los padres con niños pequeños por el contenido sexual y verbal de los videos musicales que constantemente están en el restaurante. La vestimenta de las meseras es muy apropiada para un gimnasio pero no para un restaurante familiar.

Got there in the afternoon and wanted something with steak. They didn't have any steak at all. So I ordered the chicken wrap, and I couldn't even lift it up without it falling apart. They also didn't have the plantains to go in the wrap. I ate it with a fork. Not the way I like my wrap/burrito. The taste was really good, especially the avocado . But the worse part is, while I was leaving they seemed to finally had some of the things I wanted, based on what I saw on the plate of others that game in much later.

I was born and raised in Miami FL 1sy generation cuban, and I can tell you this place has authentic cuban food. As authentic as my mother and grandmother made when I was a kid. Enjoy great place to eat even if it's out of your way.

Homemade Cubans. Being from FL it's hard to fond one as good as theirs.

Amazing food and service! My husband and I found this restaurant not far from our house and the food was amazing. We decided to have them cater our upcoming graduation party for our daughters. I highly recommend their cuban sandwiches and ropa vieja. Make sure to have some cuban coffee with milk, Cafe con Leche. We are planning to come back and bring the entire family. Great location, ample parking, clean and lots of seating for any event or just to have lunch or dinner.

MUSIC! While you eat the most authentic Cuban cuisine in this area you enjoy the sounds of Reggaeton and Caribbean tunes .Food offers authenticity only and Abuela can duplicate. Plantains are sweet and tender steak is flavorful chicken is juicy. Tres de Leche….. No words. They offer a kids menu with healthy portion sizes too. Sugarcane juice And Cuban sodas are the only way to wash this meal down. Our server was knowledgeable and patient when describing all dishes if you are unfamiliar with Cuban food. If you’re looking to be adventurous and tired of a chipotle burrito chicken them out.

Amazing fresh delicious.....plus a bunch of other descriptive words that I can't come up with right now.....this place is outstanding!!!! Best Cuban food I've had!!! Which isn't a ton....but oh my!!!! We started with the plantain chips with rojo sauce....when the server delivered it he said let me know if you need more sauce ......YES PLEASE!!!! We also had the Yuka fries....I loved them!!! The cilantro sauce was was great!!! I had their steak sandwich....super tasty!!! The bread was fresh....everything was perfect!!! My husband ordered some beef dish that came with rice and that is what hit all the flavors out of the park!!!! We will most definitely be back here.....and you all should go support them and see what their food is all about!!!! We also had the sugarcane juice.....I highly recommend it!!! Perfect drink to go with the amazing flavors!!!!
