Was very sad to see that my favorite dish, Hummus and Lamb, has now changed to some kind of ground mixed meat. We ordered take out and for the price the portions were skimpy and nothing like Lebanons used to be. And we have been eating there for years...so disappointed. Please bring back the real lamb...

Very good food and great customer service.

Awesome food, great service and atmosphere. Have been here a million times, has to be my favorite restaurant in the city. The hummus is great and fresh. Give the lentil soup a try, it's awesome. The gyro, chicken kabobs and chicken shawarma are my favorites. If you are looking for something lighter, try the gyro salad. Very delicious!

Ellie did a wonderful job even though I could tell that she was slammed. The hummus and beef schwarma that she recommended were both amazing. I’ll be back! 😎 update: I have been back at least 7-8 times and I don’t even live in Nola! Consistently great every time. Added the beef stuffed cabbage rolls to our repertoire! This will be a new permanent addition. It’s that good.

Excellent fresh food quickly on a busy Saturday.

It has been 5 years since being here. They still ROCK. (Ok the iced tea tasted like Lipton instant)!! Waitstaff is awesome, the schwarma and gyro were both outstanding 👍

I’m coming here for over 20 years Today was very disappointing as was the last time I are here. The owner isn’t paying attention anymore. The food was overly salty and lacks the flavor of the Mediterranean. And having the same dish here for the last 20 years, thinking about not coming back Service for Horrendous

Delicious authentic Lebanese food! Will absolutely go again

We LOVE this place. My husband always gets the chicken schwarma. It come with 2 sides; choose between hummus, yellow rice and salad. I get either the beef kabobs or the Lula with is beef and lamb shaped like mini burgers. Their hummus is amazing and so is the whipped feta dip.

Best food of its kind in the city

Beef shawarma was truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Salad that comes on the plate was excellent.

Ducked out of the rain and decided to share a gyro plate. Everything was seasoned perfectly and very fresh. Loved the humus! The server was friendly and attentive. If we lived here, we’d be back. I’m guessing from all the take out business they had, we’re not the only ones who feel that way.

Fabulous Lamb Chops, delicious humus, special rose tea, plus a gorgeous waitress. Kind of retarded fake Arabian desert life murals. Very nice outdoor seating on Carrollton Avenue on a cool evening like the last time I was there (Thursday 3-30). Service is absolutely excellent. February 2024 update: Lamb Chops and Humus still top quality. Went two Mondays in a row. One of the best for the value. And in June 2024, I still go there for the Rosemary Lamb Chops.

This is a wonderful place to eat if you are looking for a true Lebanese food experience. The inside was very clean and calm. You seat yourself and then the waitress will come take your order. Food didn't take long to get out. If you try the Lebanese tea be wary that it is floral for those of you who are not a fan of floral flavors.

This is not only a very convenient place for me, but the food is REALLY good! I enjoy sitting outside. I like watching the Streetcar pass by. It's a good place to people watch while you enjoy a good meal. Their combination kabobs are always a good option.

Nice quiet atmosphere, food is fine..

I stopped in for lunch it was amazing. I had the Gyro plate. The lamb beef mix was perfectly seasoned and grilled. The rice was light and fluffy and the pitas were soft and hot with the flavorful hummus. My hubby ordered the chicken kabobs which were also well seasoned and moist and juicy. His salad was light and refreshing dressed in a lemon vinaigrette. Sorry I didn’t get a photo but the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here.

This is my daughter's favorite Mediterranean restaurant in all of New Orleans. She brought me here for dinner recently, and I'm so glad she did. I love this place! We had a bunch of her favorites including: Stuffed Grape Leaves, Falafel, Hummus, and Whipped Feta Dip. Everything was prepared perfectly. Service is great, and prices are reasonable. I can't wait for my next visit!

I came here with some friends and got the sautéed vegetable skillet, which has sautéed eggplant, onion, carrots, zucchini, squash, cauliflower, broccoli, celery, mushrooms, red and green bell peppers topped with feta and mozzarella cheese serves over a bed of basmati rice. I AM OBSESSED. Months later, I still think about how good it tasted and the portion size was to die for. Hope to visit again soon.

First time visiting New Orleans. I ordered the lamb and hummus, My wife ordered the three meat shish kabob and it was very good. They do not have the garlic dip that you see in most Middle Eastern restaurants. The food was really good and we will most likely try to stop back in before leaving the Big Easy

One of the best places to have Mediterranean food. However, I feel the lamb kebab plate portion size is smaller than the remaining kebab plates. I do like the taste and quality. It is my go to for middle eastern food. It is usually not busy in the afternoon, but can get busier for dinner. Thank you

This place, LOVE IT!! I drive an hour and a half just to come and eat here!! The food is delicious!! Doesn't matter what you have, it's all good (especially the lamb shank!!) but come early because sometimes they run out! The interior is very casual and relaxed and they have some outdoor seating which I found is nice also! This place can get pretty crowded but for the most part they can handle a good size crowd. Definitely check this place out, great price for the food and quality of the food you get! One of my top 10 gavotte favorite places to go eat at in New Orleans! Oh, its a BYOB place...

After five years living out of state, I was still thinking about Lebanon’s. Since I moved back, it’s been just as good (if not better!!) than I remembered. You just can’t go wrong eating here.

Always delicious food and a great experience! The Gyro is my first choice and the beat root hummus is top notch! Falafels and nicely spiced!

My food was great, they didn’t forget nothing. It was takeout, didn’t check it bc I was parked illegal. Had lamb & beef on top of hummus, delicious. The rice is good also, but I’ve never been able to find the rice the way the Babylon on maple st. had.

Obviously, everyone Uptown knows that this is truly one of the best middle Eastern restaurants in the city and a staple for takeout food as well. The food is exceptional. My only complaint is that they use so much Styrofoam in their takeout. I feel like with the amount of takeout they do, it would be nice to do some more renewable or compostable containers. When you dine in, it’s lovely to eat out front and watch the streetcar pass by. I do recommend maybe tend to their potted plants. They’re all dead.

Very cool place and ambience compared to a lot of middle eastern places that are pretty stripped down. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was... fine. Enjoyed the lentil soup and most of the small dishes were ok, but no standouts. Seemed like a lot of pre-packaged items - hummus, pita etc.

Best Lebanese food I've had and I am Arabic!!

Lebanon's Cafe is a New Orleans staple. Classic homemade Middle Eastern/Mediterranean goodness.

I got a sandwich from there and it was horrible. no taste. it was just spicy and full of seasoning. YOU DO NOT TASTE ANY MEET OR VEGTIBLE JUST SPICY AND SEASONING.

The waitress seemed to completely misunderstand my order. Which it was fine, I’ve worked in the food industry and understand things like that happen. But the attitude of the employees completely changed when I addressed it. I ordered vegetable stuffed grape leaves and a kabob. I even pointed to the menu to make sure I was understood. I didn’t get my appetizer and I was served a completely different meal. I took a bite thinking that since I’m not familiar with Lebanese food I misunderstood what I ordered. But after 2 bites I confirmed it didn’t have lamb so it must have been a mistake. I finally received my appetizer though it was beef and not vegetable stuffed grape leaves but I figured it wasn’t a big deal and I did eventually get what I ordered. However when the bill came they expected me to pay for the mistake order as well as my original order. When I asked if it could be taken off I was told “we’ll you ate it didn’t you?” I was confused because they never took the mistake order back and I only had two bites to see if maybe I was at fault and ordered something I wasn’t expecting. They were very rude about the whole thing despite my effort to see it as a usual mistake that happens at restaurants. My friend even tried to remedy the situation by saying the food was great and hoping everyone a good day, which was just met with glares. The food was good but I was very confused why I was treated so poorly over something I didn’t even personally think was a big deal.

Found this on the website and soooooo happy we did!! I had the lamb kebob served with house made hummas and a salad with a great vinaigrette. Such tasty and tender lamb!!!! My son had the grilled salmon and was very happy with it too. Plus we had Labna and pita bread that was also very good. Highly recommend this place. It is a college area go to so a little loud but not enough to downgrade it. Really good service too!!

While the restaurant was pretty the service was absolutely awful. We never got our appetizer (the falafel) and when we finally asked about it we were informed that it would be a few minutes. It was burnt and not nearly as flavorful as I’ve had at other places. Our waiter was inconsiderate and too busy socializing with other employees to care about his tables. We won’t be back.

It used to be good but we were very disappointed this time. Can't get pine nuts with iced tea any longer. Chicken was very dry and looked like left over end pieces that should have been discarded. Also, the portions are a third of what they used to be. Won't be going back.

I only had tea and a desert but both were fantastic

just ate here. spinach pie was very delicious and we sat on the cutest little round table outside. we did not get Kibby but we thought about it. we were waited on by Adina and she was absolutely delightful.

It's 2023, right? Cold pita bread and even colder service. Server wanted me to move from a table where I was sitting for a white man, after the cashier said I could sit anywhere to wait for my takeout. I didn't move until I received my food. I left the restaurant never to return again.

My group of three had a late dinner here on a Saturday night. Parking was surprisingly easy! The inside of the restaurant is very casual. The A/C was weird, like super cold and blowing all in our faces. It was too much. We did have a bit of a wait for our food, but I thought that it was worth the wait. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate with an “extra” side of tzatziki sauce. For some odd reason, they filled my plate with tzatziki and didn’t give me any hummus. The server was quick to resolve and brought me a “small” plate of hummus. The serving was smaller than what the other guest had on her actual plate, so I do feel like I was cheated in that regard. All of the food was very delicious (chicken, salad and hummus)! The pita bread is never-ending (yay)! I’d definitely return…with the hope that I’ll get my full serving of hummus next time lol.

Really authentic middle Eastern food. Love the hummus, fried halloumi, chicken kabob, and my husband is crazy about the zaater bread. The food can be a bit spicy if that's a concern, but always fresh and made in house and so delicious.

Party of 6 came in during a busy period and a lovely server, Lavitha (sorry for misspelling) She was slammed with other tables yet made time for us and told me to Order shrimp and spinach, which was amazing! Others ate shishkebob, gyros platter and baba ganush, etc…fantastic food, special thanks to Lavitha, she is a doll.

Leanese tea is a really great and refreshing experience! You gotta try it! Out door seating is nice and comfortable, service was prompt and nice too. It's a regular spot for my brother but I'd never been there before and I was not disapointed.

Each time we visit New Orleans this is on our list of place as must go to! The food is always so wonderful, we try different items each visit. We are never disappointed here!

For our entrees: Vegetarian Plate A palate-pleasing selection of hummus, baba ganuj, tabouleh & falafel. *Served without sides. Chicken Shawarma Marinated chicken breast hand-sliced off a vertical rotisserie. Served with tzatziki sauce. Hummus with Lamb and Beef Lamb and beef seasoned with chef-style spices then sauteed with onions, tomatoes, green beans, mushrooms & eggplant. Such a great early lunch with our friends! I am never disappointed here! The food is absolutely amazing and we always get some hummus to take home. The staff are always kind, service is fast, and the atmosphere is great. I never tire of Lebanon's, I just wish they were open every day!

I moved away from New Orleans 10 years ago and this is the restaurant I miss the most. Everything on the menu tasted amazing.

Visiting NO and chanced upon this restaurant. We had not previously enjoyed Lebanese cuisine. The service was efficient and friendly. The menu had a nice selection of appetizer and entree choices. Additionally, there were a couple of featured entrees of the day. Our appetizers and entrees were excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and warm which to summarize, made for an enjoyable dining experience.

I have eaten here several times and have always had a great meal. Although I plan to go back and try more of the menu, it is hard to pass up the gyro plate. It is so tasty!!!!! I also love the stuffed grape leaves and baba ganush - I don't know how to spell that 😆

The best Lebanese/middle eastern food on the planet. Incredible in every way, has been a staple in my life since childhood. Great gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options for literally anyone. Service is always friendly, my only request is to please bring back the iced mint tea!!

I’m not a huge fan of Lebanese food but this was amazing! We ordered the lamb shank, chicken tecka, chicken kabob, lula kabob, safihah (mini pizza), and taziki dip - they were all very well-seasoned. We throughly enjoyed each and every item. Highly recommend!
