My family went last night for the first time. I had liver and onions with hummus and tea. My daughter ordered dolma appetizer with her food. Though I did not taste my children’s food, everything look and smelled amazing. The liver was perfectly cooked! Very comparable to my grandmothers cooking❤️. The dolma was very delicious, and the hummus was fresh. Children said their food was very good.

Kind of a dull setting way out in Kenner but our lovely waitress Melodia and the fantastic food make it all worthwhile. It was a great place for our 4-20 birthday and cultural celebration. Thank you MN for a fabulous day. You said it was one of your favorite places and now it is mine also!

Very good lunch specials. A lot of rice, hummus, and a good salad, with choice of chicken or beef shawarma or gyro for 10 dollars. Very good value for what you get, especially comparef to other places that serve similar things in the area.

The food was amazing. I enjoyed every single thing I tried. It's a great place for no nonsense Middle Eastern food. The staff was super attentive and nice. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone craving some great food.

I'm a huge fan of gyros. This was the first time I have been to this location. They pros: quick service. I waited under 10 minutes for my plate. Large portions versus cost. They packed my plate and it wasn't just rice as filler. Cons: The taste was what you'd expect of gyro meat. I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't wow'd either. I would not recommend the spinach pie. It wasn't traditional. Decent taste but not the real thing.

I have been going to this restaurant for more than 4 years and we drive 1 hour to get there and every single time it is so worth it. They have never disappointed. Even whenever we have a lot of people to feed it is a great price and they bring the food quickly and fresh. Overall 5/5.

Ordered the Gyro lunch plate serving was massive for “lunch” food was hot and deliciously seasoned in every aspect. Only thing that could be better was homemade pita you could tell it was bought. Family run and operated it said on their card and the girl working was genuinely sweet and even went as far to compliment my colorful hair :) 100% adding this to my food rotation

All the food was wonderful. We loved it. The family running it was quite lovely. I look forward to dining there again and I will bring more friends and family next time.

A wonderful Lebanese spot, yet more proof that Williams Boulevard in Kenner has some of the most delicious international mom & pop fare that you will find in the greater New Orleans area.

No frills is an understatement, but the food is solid. Excellent hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, and they don't skimp on the pita.

I ordered to-go over the phone. Young lady taking my was super friendly and helpful. Service was fast. I ordered 2 appetizers, soup, 2 entrees and a kids meal. Only took about 15/20 minutes. Portions are massive and food was excellent! Even the kids were raving about the food! Extremely satisfied with experience and will order again! I only got a picture of my food, gyro dinner plate.. amazing and can eat off of this 3 times! ( i added the sumac seasoning to hummus in picture, for those of you who may not like it)

The service was good, and the restaurant seemed nice enough, but I should have been cautious when I saw the dining room was empty at suppertime. I love Middle Eastern cuisine, but the food here left much to be desired. Our steaks were overdone, and the rice and vegetables were bland. The only really good part of the meal was the hummus, but it wasn't so great that I wanted to go back. I hope they hire a new cook.

An absolute gem in Kenner. My and my fiancé get the gyro plate a few times a month. It tastes amazing and the portions are great!

The food at this place is amazing. I was very impressed with the food. Had a beef shawarma, and enjoyed it so much. Also had a soup, but I forget the name of it, but it was very good too. I wish I lived closer, or wish they offered UberEATS, or any if the Uther delivery services, because I would be having their food as much as possible. Very friendly service too. Very nice atmosphere. Forgot to take pictures though. Sorry about that.

Food is really good and they have the best prices in Kenner.

This place is a hidden gem, with THE best middle-eastern food in the city! Hummus is out of this world. Great lunch sandwiches, all the standard dinner fare, and every dish is on point. I stop here any time I’m in Kenner, bruh!

The Best Place For MiddleEastern Food!

This was a delightful experience! We landed from a trip hungry. The environment is a little tired, rickety chairs and worn decors. We ordered lentil soup, chicken shawarma plate and gyro plate. The soup was smooth and creamy with just the right amount of spices. Portions are generous. So...ambiance is worn and tired, food was amazing. I'd come back.

Lamb shank is absolutely delightful. Shwarma plate will have you thinking about the dish all week long!! Go! Eat! Enjoy!!

This restraunt has been a pleasant surprise. The food was all fantastic and fresh. I had the beef and chicken shwarma with the hummus and salad. My wife had beef and chicken kabobs with rice. All of the meat was tender and flavorful. The humus was freshly prepared, and the star of dinner. The last item we had was some the best baklava that either of us have ever had. Our server was excellent. If your in the NOLA area, step off the beaten path and give this place try.

I've eaten lots of Mediterranean and middle eastern food, but this was the best. Excellent hummus, falafel, and kibbeh. Great service, and very quick. I look forward to coming back!

The best authentic Lebanese food we have ate! There’s many places with Mediterranean food but Lebanese. Service was awesome, food portions were good, just feel that the lentil soup could improve as it was a little spicy. Lamb, chicken meat everything was tasty. Baba Ghanouj is a Must!!!

The chicken in the chicken kabob was a little dry but the rice was great and that was probablythe best hummus Ive ever had.

I ordered lamb shank and half chicken both of the dishes very so bland and steamed even the rice had no taste it was boiled with mix vegetables chicken shawarma was o.k hope they work on their food recipes.

I ate there 3-4 times... Everytime they provide their best service... The food was awesome.. I highly recommend this place... Wanna eat there again... Best halal food in town...

We have been eating at Shiskabob House for several years and have never been disappointed. I especially like the Hummus and Lamb and also the Grilled Lamb chops are very good. You can't beat the service. Very friendly staff always greet you with a smile and the prices are reasonable.

All these years I have enjoyed the food here and all these years I had forgotten to write a review. Superior to all fancy Mediterranean restaurants I have visited. The owner Moosa and his family are very very nice people.

As someone coming from a Lebanese family this is the most authentic food I’ve had in awhile. Their grape leaf rolls were delicious and severed with meat. The Lebanese Tea is Rose Water & Pine Nuts and was just sweet enough. Highly reccomend.

The gyro lunch plate went up to 8.75 but that is inflation with this White House. The falafel sandwich for 4.95 is still as huge & delicious & fills you up for all day! This is the best value for middle eastern food in the area!

Amazing!! Portions were big, flavor was delicious, and the owners were so kind. My daughter recently discovered she loves gyro meat and she said this was the best she's ever had. It was very tender. I highly recommend it!

Ate here today. The “lunch menu” is valid all day! It is just a smaller portion which is HUGE, my husb got the gyro lunch menu which included the meat, yellow rice, humus, pita bread, salad(cucumber, tomatoe, lettuce & bell pepper) for 6.95, I got the falafel sandwich which was huge for 4.95. We used to always go into Nola to MONA’s on banks st but we feel safer coming here & the price & food was WAY better! Highly recommend if you are near

Wow everything we had was fantastic. We shared the combination plate with an appetizer of Kibe. The Kibe was tasty, served hot The combination plate had the lulu kabob (2) chicken (1) and beef (2). Very nicely seasoned and served on a hit bed of saffron rice. Juicy and spiced right! Pita bread served hot with the Humas. Even the mint tea was excellent. Very nice meal reasonably priced

If you are looking for an authentic taste, this place is it! Grilled meats and gyro are fresh and not over seasoned or salty. The hummus is perfect - not overly creamy like most places. We love Lebanon in the city but this place has taken our #1 spot. It's not fancy but I'd drive out here just for the fresh kebobs. Add this to your list!

The food is delicious with large portions. I'm a huge fan of the chicken shawarma plate which comes with chicken, rice, hummus, salad, and pita. It's enough for several meals, and is just kind bogglingly delicious.

Food is above par. We love the taboulli, baba, humus. Grape leaves could have more meat, but to make them perfect takes a long time to be beautify to serve fresh. The swarma is okay, but we haven't ventured too much outside the giant apetizer latter. The lenonese tea is funny, mostly because my wifes side pretty much full and had no idea what is up with it.

Shish kabob house has always been a family favorite for us. The food is always consistently good and our go to for Middle Eastern cuisine! The chichen shawarma is my favorite thing on the menu. Must try!

This is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the New Orleans area. There are some with more atmosphere and some with more refined service. This place has just enough of those elements and some very good food. The quantities are plenty, too. They were in the midst of remodeling in early May 2019, but it was about time for the Chinese decor to go away. If there's a single downside, it's that vegetarians won't find much on the menu. Carnivores, on the other hand, will leave full and happy.
