Our server was top tier. Food was great too.

I’ve been here multiple times and get the chicken shawarma every time…because that’s how good it is. I can easily split one wrap into two meals. Though, there are days where I’m feeling gluttonous and tackle the whole wrap in one sitting.

Order the chicken shawarma and it was delicious very nice restaurant

Great Mediterranean food! Fair price! Their shawarma plate is one of the best one in town! Their lamb chops is a must here! The only problem I found here was the parking sometimes, and put less salt on the steak shawarma.

This is one of our go-to places to eat Mediterranean food. The service is always outstanding and the food is even better! We arrived late this day, but the staff kept the kitchen open for us to order and didn't rush us out the door. One of the best eateries in the area.

I could not love this spot more! The Labneh is wonderful, and Chicken Shwarma hits every time. They are friendly, and the food has never disappointed!

My boyfriend and I were looking for Mediterranean food and decided to try this place. Upon entering, we were pleased with the nice and clean atmosphere. However, I wish they played authentic music to enhance the overall experience. The service was excellent. Our server was very caring and attentive, regularly checking up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The major downside was the food. The grape leaves were served steaming hot; it would have been nice if they were chilled for a more authentic experience, though the flavor was good. I ordered the gyro plate, and my boyfriend had the chicken shawarma plate. The chicken was soft, delicious, and well-seasoned. Unfortunately, the gyro was extremely dry and tasted microwaved. On the positive side, the rice and hummus tasted fresh, but the hummus was overly bitter and nutty for my liking. Additionally, we both usually have no issues with digestion, but this food took overnight to digest, which makes me think it's not that fresh. Overall, it was an okay experience. Perhaps it was just an off night for them.

THE BEST gyro nachos ever……. since Byblos no longer makes them, we’ve been on a hunt & by chance found Mediterranean nachos on their menu and they are delicious. We also got the cheese egg rolls to try something new. OMG … they are the bombdiggity !!!!!! Soooooo good. We will definitely be a regular. The staff was super friendly as well. Yummmm.

I enjoy eating at Hummus & More and keep returning not only for the food but also for the friendly attentive service. They recognize their regulars and remember their preferences, but more importantly, they warmly greet everyone who comes in, even if it is for the first time. I am in an electric wheelchair and I have no difficulty entering, going to my table, or using the restroom. The space is not large but the tables are generouly spaced.

First time definitely going back have to try more!!!!

Great food. Family run restaurant. Delicious crab eggplant appetizer. Baklava is perfect. Vegetarian mousaka, babaganoush, humus paired with pita. Lamb kabobs, spinach Greek salad with rice pilaf.

Hummus & More was staffed with super friendly people but served super bland, Americanized mediterranean food. I would come here for a quick bite in a pinch, but nothing more. The pita bread was not homemade, and it was stale. The hummus was definitely store-bought, and just nothing about the food stood out in a positive way.

Chicken swarma wrap is delicious!!! Kinda pricey but worth it.

If you get Hummus, get the Hummus and more. Excellent!

expected more from greek salad only 1/4 slice tomato, bell pepper, aand one tiny slice cucumber. no bell peppers with kabobs

50+ minutes between being told to sit down and receiving our food. Mix ups kept happening and the teen waiters were reluctant to acknowledge or help out. Table next to us got the wrong table's credit card! Another table got theirs. Realistically there needs to be more than two kids and one lady waiting tables for the whole restaurant. Good food but whoever is deciding the shifts is cheaping out. Need more wait staff and teens need direction.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, and I must say, it’s by far the best Mediterranean food in the area! The flavors are very sensational, and the portions were generous. The service was friendly too. My husband and I each had a vegetarian platter, so we got a good variety.

They set us up for a private family dinner with 12-15 guest. Allowed family to decorate. That was nice, but the Best was the server/service, I apologize as I forget her name, she alone took care of all the guest. The kitchen and food service was Great ! Can't say enough good things !!! We had a Lil of everything from menu, Good food.

I can’t believe this will be the first review on TripAdvisor in over four years for this restaurant … in good news, it’s just as good as the reviews from early 2019 suggest! I wasn’t sure when I arrived if I wanted to eat in or get take out — but the atmosphere upon entering sold me to eat in! It was a super relaxing vibe — clean, bright, spacious, and with fun music (though it wasn’t Mediterranean, which surprised me). Staff were super lovely and the menu extensive — it was so hard to choose what to order! I ended up with a chicken fattoush salad, which was absolutely huge and served very quickly. And yes, I ate the whole thing………it was filling for sure! And delicious too! Very fresh ingredients and tender chicken. Loved the bathrooms too — brightly colored and very clean. The only negative from my visit? They use paper tablecloths over the nice linen ones. No big deal, except I got two paper cuts on my hands from the paper tablecloth!

The manager named Lisa was very rude! She had poor customer service when I expressed my concern about my order being wrong.

The service was great, the food came out fast and it was delicious. The hummus is silky smooth with great flavor. It was so good I wiped the plate clean with the bomb A pita bread. Would definitely recommend.👍🏽

To be avoided! unfortunately the stereotype applies to this so-called restaurant, they will charge you more than what mentioned on menu, and they do not clean well the glasses, that’s why you will taste a soap when you order a drink. Such a sad story…

Absolute best Greek food in the NOLA area. Everything is always fresh and delicious, well-seasoned and good portion sizes too. In a city so full of good food, it's unusual for us to be repeat customers, but this place has earned it!

Delicious. Excellent food. You’ll be so satisfied and happy you found this hidden gem. Atmosphere is nothing special. It’s the food. Loved the grilled salad w gyro meat. Baba so good. 4 stars because the burgers were charged as adults instead of kids meals when the children are 8 & 12 (I didn’t catch until after I left). They ate half. Charged for a hummus I didn’t receive, but when I noticed he knocked that off the bill. He did give them the delicious mango, guava, orange juices on the house. Very busy here, very good.

KABOBS DONE RIGHT!! This is by far the BEST kabobs in New Orleans. It's hard finding high quality mediterranean around since I'm used to Lebanon, but they nailed these Kabobs. Service was also great and friendly. Only reason I gave 4 stars is cause I only tried the Kabob dish, I'm unfamiliar with the rest of the menu but will surely try it soon.

Amazing family run restaurant. This will be our go to for Mid Eastern cuisine. So great!!!! I see comments about high prices. Our bill for 4 people was $90 and we left with food. Aside from that...the quality is exceptional. Product costs are high. If u go to Byblos you will get a lot of food. Most of which is terrible. And.... You don't get the family run atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Quality is amazing.

This place has an "out of the way" "hole in the wall" feel but delivers on all important dining out criteria imo. The food was fantastic, the Hummus was on par with some of the highest quality I've ever experienced. The service, while not lightening fast, was polite efficient and considerate. Which made for a very enjoyable experience. Honestly, the service was faster than expected while serving a nearly full restaurant. After our meal, the cook and his wife came out to greet our table. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We have eaten at this restaurant often in the past. We will not be going back after today. The new menu features higher pricing on everything with reduced portions. Today, I ordered the grilled shrimp wrap. It was all of about 5” wide and contained the grand sum of 4 medium sized grilled shrimp. The rest was lettuce and cheese. When I asked the waitress about the number of shrimp, I suggested that a minimum of 6 shrimp would have been more appropriate since the kid’s meal at half the price features 4 shrimp. After she consulted with the kitchen, she returned to the table only to confirm that 4 shrimp was accurate. The menu is silent as to this fact. At a price of $13.00 for this 5” wrap, the customer is charged $3 per shrimp. This was bad enough but, The uncaring, dismissive attitude of the staff provided the final flourish on this failed dining experience. We could see why the dining room was now empty.

It is a very Cozy and Delicious Mediterranean place to dine in or take out. They are friendly and very helpful with explaining the menu. I have ordered the Beef with Vegetables and Hummus it also comes with pita bread. I have tried the Hummus three different ways. Regular, with the roma tomatoes, garlic, and olives, and just the Roma tomatoes and garlic. I prefer it with just the Roma tomatoes and garlic. You can omit what you don't want because it also comes with feta cheese and I don't get that at all. You do get what you pay for. I have also tried the Lentil soup both ways and they are both tasty. I was skeptical at first because one comes with spinach and the other one was pureed. I must say I was shocked.

The Turkish tea was delicious in addition to the coffee, food; staff was friendly and helpful

This place is our for ever place to eat at whenever we are at Nola. Best Mediterranean restaurant in the whole area. Hands down for the service and the atmosphere. Everything was super great. Thank you for having us today and make everyone satisfied and happy!

Lovely restaurant, I tried Mediterranean food for the first time and I am hooked. This is much better place to eat than any chain. The staff was warm welcoming and the food was fantastic. The baklava and the Turkish coffee are must have at the end of the meal.

my GO-TO lunch or early dinner spot. Very friendly staff and always excellent food. Fast most of the time unless they are super busy. I have had several client and networking meetings at Hummus and More. It is never loud and easy to focus on the conversation. I love the hummus and more - naturally. Their cauliflower appetizer is not to be missed. My favorite main dish is the Lamb Kabobs. Lunch or Dinner - always a good choice.

I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which is usually my go to meal at Mediterranean restaurants. The chicken shawarma here was some of the best I've had. It was seasoned well, and it was moist. Some restaurants have dried out chicken shawarma. The rice pilaf and salad was also delicious and fresh. The bus boy Alex was also amazing! He would make an excellent waiter! He has a wonderful personality, and a great attitude for customer service! We really enjoyed him!

It is one of our go to places for lunch. Food is always good and fresh. Staff remembers us and is very friendly. I love the combo plate. Choice of 2 meats and a salad. Leaving full but not stuffed in the middle of the day is the way to go.

Kind of a hole in the wall, and looks like a tiny establishment from outside. But really opens up once you walk inside. Shockingly good food and quick service make this place a top pick. Dishes are authentic and mouth-watering. Service is fantastic and the owner is usually there, he definitely takes pride in his restaurant. Don't miss this place!

My daughter and I tried the humus and the babaganush and the Fatush salads with chicken. Everything is very good and authentic. We ate at all the middle eastern places on town and this one holds it’s own. The prices may seam high but the portions are very large. We tried the baklava and it was some of the best. I grew up with these foods and this place doesn’t disappoint. Go and enjoy. The hummus is some of the best I ever had !

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Definitely a can't miss option for gyros or salads (which are huge). The staff is very friendly, prices are great, and the location is nice and quiet. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. I have been here many times over the years and this place is always a winner.

Went there for my birthday lunch today. I've got to say this is my new favorite place! The service was great and the food was even better. We got the Mediterranean nachos after a recommendation from my son. Fantastic! The feta egg rolls were amazing. Hubby had the mahi mahi kebab and he said it was very good. The place was clean and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I will definitely go there again. I've already told several friends about it.

A wonderful family owned restaurant serving authentic Lebanese food. Very friendly service and quite accommodating to guests less versed in the food selections. I highly recommend the chicken schwarma and grape leaves!
