amazing food! highly recommend the chicken shawarma! service is great and it’s a great restaurant if you want a quick meal or if you want to stay awhile and talk

It really had low quality and didn't satisfy me at all. I don't recommend it.

Got the chicken was ready in 10 mins and it was great except for the fact I got food poisoning that night.

The food was delicious and their were choices for vegan eaters.

Was back home and wanted to get back to Albasha for a meal. Some places don't taste as good years later......not the case for Albasha. Still absolutely love the salad, pita, chicken, gyro, and baba ganoush. Wish we had such great quality Mediterranean in Charlotte ♥️

Chicken shawarma salad and Lebanese iced tea was good!

I love Albasha’s and every time I am in town visiting, I have to hit them up. Their food is always consistently good no matter which location you go too. I miss their chicken shawarma so much!! They have very good (large) portion sizes and are amazing when it comes to accommodating your needs. I usually get a chicken shawarma plate sub hummus for baba ganoush and sub extra salad for the rice with dressing on the side. They always get it right and it’s always super yummy. Things I love and order-steak kabobs, fried cheese, kibbi, baba gaboush, Lebanese tea, chicken shawarma and my husband also likes the gyro. I feel like you really couldn’t go wrong with anything off the menu. Ohhhh I also love the grape leaves 🤤 It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu!! My favorite location is Walker but honestly all the locations are great and convenient! Def go if you’re in the area!!!

Consistent quality, large portions

This is not my first time in Albasha. For year this is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is delicious. BUT the host this time was obvious. We were sit in a place apart for the "NONE WHITE people". The rest of the customers were the same..white. In the area is tables open, but we were place apart. More customers arriving ...they looks like the others, they are sitting in that area. THANKS HOSTESS.

Great place to eat Lebanese food.

We bought catered food from them for m, daughter's birthday party. Very good! There wasn't much left, and the leftovers were sent home for whoever wanted some.

Been going here for over two decades. The exceptional quality of food AND service has never changed; always excellent.

The waiter had a bad attitude. I told her what I wanted and she still messed it up. So, she has to fix it over and mess it up

Food and service were good. Chicken was a tad dry as was the gyro but still pretty tasty.

This place used to be better than the other location by B&N but they now chinch the food. Hate having salad on the same plate as hot food. Oh yeah, small amount of hummus and they now put the grecian on the meat. Can't someplace in Baton Rouge remain consistent? 🤬

Went with a group for lunch today. The food was good as always, but the service was the worst. I don’t know if our waitress just isn’t used to handling groups or just didn’t care though her attitude seemed to be we were too much trouble. I was a little late getting there due to another commitment but she never even came back to the table to check on the others drinks or see if anyone else had arrived since it would have been obvious that initially there were some empty chairs. Finally, a young man showed up with some of the food for other members of the group and I had to have someone at the other end of the table tell him to please go down to the other end and take my order. When more food arrived, it seemed chaotic because the waitress had not kept a seating list of who ordered what. Also, people were having to ask for their salad or vegetables, etc. After serving, again no one came back to make sure everything was even okay or if we needed more pita which we did. When people were asking for to-go boxes, she brought them to one end of the table but not the other. Management charges an automatic tip for groups which I don’t mind paying as long as I’m getting the service I’m paying for and in this case, we largely didn’t and some of us got no service at all other than our plate put in front of us. As to the food, I got the combo chicken shawarma and gyros plate so I could be sure I’d get my food quickly and not hold anyone up. Also, it’s quite delicious. I won’t be back to this Albasha any time soon and never with a group.

Food and wait staff amazing!!!!! We even had young kids.

The food itself was fine but the service sucked. We had to go get our waitress repeatedly so we could order/get the check. And then when we had to get the hostess to give us our boxes since we couldn't find our waitress she seemed annoyed. The hostess was also on her phone majority of the time, it might have been work related but I doubt it. Even though the food was good I will not be coming back after that experience.

Had the tuna. So delicious. My sisters had the chicken Shawarma. Everything was delicious.

Delicious Greek food. Today was my first time trying this chain and I highly recommend. My chicken Shawarma was delicious.

Good supper, an easy pickup and very good supper so often for my family. And now a new, very tasty option - Salmon Pasta which is so nice with the salad and very healthy 😁

We would have enjoyed the evening better with a better server, he was either undertrained or indifferent. Had to ask for a spoon for coffee as well as for ice cream.

We love to come here when we are in town. Great food, friendly staff! With inflation so bad everywhere, it seems like it is still a great value compared to a lot of restaurants.

It was my first time here. And I do have to say that I will be returning. I was very pleased with the enjoyable experience that I had here. The food was very good. My lamb was perfect. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was a quaint solitude from the hustle and bustle of the world outside.

Try the chicken kabob. Nice flavor. Can't beat the chicken fatoush salad! Love the mountain of mushrooms 🍄 on the broiled tilapia.

This restaurant at its Bluebonnet Boulevard location has been a "go to" Middle Eastern cuisine location for my cousin and me. But yesterday the worst food was served to us, and we agreed that we won't be returning any time soon, if ever. I ordered a grilled salmon lunch, and the waiter brought me a small plate with small mangled, overcooked pieces of fish that looked like they had been dropped on the floor and then thrown on the plate! The fish was actually in parts on the plate, not even whole as it should be presented. The waiter tried to explain it away, saying it probably fell apart in the process of cooking it! I said, "I can't eat this. Bring me a decent piece of salmon, please!" He then brought a piece of salmon which my cousin said was the smallest piece of salmon she'd ever seen. The accompanying plate of rice, hummus and salad was sloppy, tasteless and as meager as the fish serving was. As we regularly used to dine here, it was a big disappointment, to say the least. And it was certainly not worth the price, an important point.

I always get the rack of lamb and it never dissapoints. Price is very reasonable for the quality of the food.

This place is always phenomenal in every way! The patrons are usaully on the dressier/business fashion wise but there isn't a dress code for the restaurant, you may just feel alittle underdressed.

Good food but terrible service, over a few visits. Today waited 15 minutes after being seated without the first contact by waitstaff...not even for a beverage. Left at that point.

The worst Albasha in the city imo. Went on a date and was shoved in a weird front corner room directly underneath a music speaker. We couldn't hear each other speak. Our waitress was rude and awful. She clearly did not want to wait on us. She would lose her smile every time she approached us. The food was decent, but I've had better at literally each other, Albasha.

They have the best Lebanese for in the city! It's consistent, service is great and Bluebonnet location is my favorite. I swear I'm there almost weekly. Oh don't forget your Lebanese tea!

I moved away in 2017. Prior to that we ate here once a week. I recommend EVERYTHING on the menu because I've had them all. I am a meat eater but crave the vegetarian plate with a kibbi appetizer. It is now 2023 & we still miss it. There is nothing that compares in our area. Please consider opening a location in Ruston, La ??? There is 1 'other' Lebanese restaurant in W.Monroe (30 minutes from Ruston) with a similar menu but it doesn't compare in taste. Even my kids,12 & 16 [5 & 9 when we moved] still compare the flavors and the 'other' doesn't meet up . Ruston is a college town over-run by Mexican restaurants and no Greek/Lebanese options...you will make a killing here! Please consider my request.

What happened? Normally our go to place. Couldn't get the order right. Salmon was really thin and hard and maybe old. Grape leaves were mush. Fried cheese was rubbery, not crispy. To go service was awful. Another customer was getting a to go drink for 3 bucks, cashier took her credit card and then answered the phone to take an order. Left her standing there while she took the order. I finally said something to another employee (there where 4 of them back there) she is trying to figure out where the credit card went. Finally the girl on phone hangs up. And is like what's the big deal, I have her card right here. No apology. Just indignant that anyone would question it. Tip-dont hire Americans I guess. Previous review-Always great food. Always friendly service. Lamb shank is amazing. Meat stuffed plate is delicious and has so much food on it you can have some for later.

We have eaten at this restaurant numerous times over the years. But tonight was our worst experience ever. It began with the waitress spilling. My friend's wine in her Lap. The fried cheese was horrible. It didn't have any garlic, and it's a different consistency. It's like fried mozzarella sticks honestly. I decided to try the stuffed meat platter for the first time. And they were absolutely no seasoning at all. It was the most planned food I have ever tasted anywhere. This restaurant has been one of our go to, and I'm so disappointed and what we experienced last night that it'll be a long time before we go back.

What can I say about Albasha that hasn't already been said? I've been coming here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. In my opinion, this is the bar for not only Greek food, but restaurants in general, that all others should strive for. Consistently delicious, great prices and good service. I make a point to visit this location specifically every time I visit Baton Rouge. Just writing this review has my mouth watering. Combo plate club for life.

Food was fabulous. I had Lebanese tea and Meza. It was for two people, but it was enough for 3. Well presented plates with salad, appetizers, meats, and pita. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food choices. The only negative was the waitress had very passive almost neglectful service.

I found this place in middle of the night on my way to Landmark Baton Rouge (checking Google Maps for directions to Landmark and to stretch my legs). I noticed it and because it had been awhile since I visited Baton Rouge, I was curious about it. Because it was close to Landmark and I had never been there before on other visits, I thought it would be good place for lunch. My brother and his wife like Mediterranean food, so few days later, we had lunch there. I am glad we did. Very welcoming staff and the ambience is very European. The decor reflects the Greek and Armenian cultures. I felt quite comfortable and relaxed, and the food was fantastic! Our server was superior. As we were discussing what we wanted for lunch, he heard my sister in law say what she wanted before leaving for restroom. When he greeted us, he started off saying the dish she wanted, earning him an extra tip! I found the menu very inclusive of Greek and Armenian meals I ate when in Greece. Sure they have gyros and hummus but the menu encompasses so much more than that. I'm totally enjoyed my meal, the service and the ambience. I will be back in Baton Rouge (coming from Los Angeles) to attend to family matters, and look forward to another experience. I did not have opportunity to take photos of the trickling fountain, good and other dining areas so this is a must next visit.

Nice casual restaurant serving Mediterranean and Lebanese fare. Excellent vegetarian options including falafel and baga ghanoush. A good selection of sharable platters and appetizers. Very kid friendly menu too, with excellent service.

I've been very pleased with everything I've ordered here. I love their Eggplant Moussaka. I love everything they make with eggplant. The restaurant has a quaint and cozy atmosphere and the staff has always been great.

Everything was quite flavorful and fresh. The prices are very reasonable and the service was on point.

They saw me with the Chef Jacket on. All I wanted to do was eat w my friend. No one camw to the table 2 guys at the bar laughing, ignoring us. I've been in this business too long and to be ignored is a complete insult. WHOS MANAGING PEOPLE TODAY...

Staff seems rude and inexperienced. The owner needs new more professional wait staff, very disappointing and unprofessional service. The wait staff seems young and inexperienced and act like they do not want to be there.

I ordered a kid’s gyro plate and a gyro sandwich—both with fries. Got home and my daughters’ gyro plate didn’t have a pita bread and my “gyro” was so skimpily made—sparse meat, very little sauce and “1” sliced tomato cut in half— I was so irritated I didn’t even want it anymore. I called the restaurant and spoke with a manager (or owner) and he was so impatient and condescending that I will NEVER return here again. There are too many restaurants in Baton Rouge for me to deal with your mediocre service And mediocre food, Sir!

The food is wonderful, but apparently either "two Kibi" in a single take-out order is a bit too complicated for the sunday crew, or there's a delivery driver who really likes them. This is the 4th time i've had the same mistake happen. Either teach the person on expo to count or start stapling the bag shut. I don't want my money back every time we order, i want my food.

Abbatia always has a great lunch! We love the Albasha chicken special. Their baba ghanouj and hummus are excellent. Watch out for the lebanese tea. It's addictive! The shrimp or chicken fettuccine are excellent - add mushrooms and olives!

Albasha was always a good restaurant but the other night it was a Great restaurant every thing was so delicious. The service was great and the place is just takes you to Greece. They make Accommodations for the large party that we had this location is highly recommended

Pretty disappointed with the food based on other reviews. Maybe it's due to take out vs. dining in. Chicken was extremely dry, falafel and pita were below average. The dips were fine, but that's about as good as it got.

Great food . . . so much intense flavor!

We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve. Got seated in less than 10 minutes which was great. Our food didn't take much time to come either. The only issue I had was that both the chicken shawarma meat and gyro meat were dry. Besides that, service was good and we will give them a try next time we are in Louisiana outside of a holiday week to experience the real taste.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. We were meeting my sister here and it was such a wonderful experience. The waitress didn't mind when my curious godson wanted to ask questions or talk to her. An older gentleman even took the time to speak to him and give him a hug. Just their patience alone shows how great of a person they are. The food is to die for!! It was out of this world delicious! We all had the vegetarian plate and there were so many options, we all had different things. My only regret is that I live so far away. All their kindness is packed into the food's flavor. Very nice ambience. A wonderful place for a family meeting or a date.

Albasha is the best Lebanese restaurant anywhere. You can't come to Baton Rouge and not eat at one of their locations.

Food and service are excellent here. Kids plate is generous. Parking is plentiful in the evening. Restaurant is clean and pleasant. Gyro plate is my go to and never disappoints.

Fresh and fast delivery of food. Baba ganoush is delicious. Everything is great! Lebanese coffee with or without sugar is redolent with the scent of freshly ground cardamom spice. Excellent restaurant for lunch or dinner.
