I have been wanting good Banh Mi. Don’t listen to the reviews saying this is “bad neighborhood” It’s in a decent area- the parking will be street. Food was amazing. The French bread was amazing. The filling had just enough seasoning without overpowering. Thai tea was good but the boba will need some work.

Amazing place to eat! I had the beef and chicken lemongrass bao buns, to die for! Super yummy food and such nice people! Will definitely eat here everytime I visit Nola <3

We had the BBQ pork belly in both bahn mi and bao buns. Both were ah-mazing! And the boba? Fantastic!

Nice and clean restaurant in a quiet neighborhood, but seems like they set up for takeout/delivery - no printed menus on the table or no qr scans, order and pay before sitting down, plastic plates and to-go utensils! Pho broth is ok but not exceptional. Briskets are overdone, and rare steaks are all clumped up together. Rice dishes and banh mi are decent, but again nothing out of the ordinary. Don't need to come back!

If you love Bánh Mì and are in New Orleans, you need to visit this place. It's somewhat bringing me back to Saigon eating small restaurants.

I have only tried the Banh Mi, but both the lemongrass pork and the pork belly Banh Mi were excellent...the pork belly was the best I've ever had, and I sample bahn mi regularly.

A tasty little spot tucked away uptown. Give them your money. The pho is bangin, and the prices are reasonable. Definitely get a large, you'll want it. Also, never seen a kid in there, so extra points.

this is only a review for their iced coffee. 8 minute wait for the drip, but as a bonafied vietnamese person, i can confirm that this place has the most legit cà phê sữa đa đá in new orleans. 🎉

Basic but excellent Vietnamese fare

I work for a local university and needed to order food for a group of about 20 students and two faculty/staff members. I called ahead of time about placing a large order for pickup and I was told that placing an order in person would be cheaper than doing so online, because Uber Eats raises the prices. I appreciated that tip and I asked if they took Apple Pay, and the person I spoke to on the phone said yes. When I arrived at the restaurant, I put in my large group order, tried to pay with Apple Pay and it didn't work. It didn't work when I tried to use my work card, nor did it work when I tried to switch to a personal card. They asked if I had a physical card that I could use and I said not at the moment, which is why I called ahead and asked about Apple Pay. I left the establishment, signed out of my Apple account and signed back into it. I then checked to make sure it was working at another local business and, indeed, it was. I returned to the restaurant to try paying for my order again and the credit card machine was still strangely not accepting my Apple Pay. At this point, the person at the register who was ringing me up did not offer to reset the credit card machine, even though I mentioned I had just used my Apple Pay another establishment and it worked. I returned the next day, after testing my Apple Pay at a gas station just before going in and I went to place my order again and the Apple Pay was mysteriously still not working. I let the same cashier know again that I had just used it at another location and there must be something wrong with their system, to which the cashier just ignored what I was saying and asked if I had a physical card, which I did this time. They take the card and look at it very closely and then run the payment. That credit card worked and I was able to place the order. I really don't want to make any assumptions, but this cashier at no point tried to reset the system when my Apple Pay didn't work and also wouldn't key in the credit card information the night before. He said they don't do that. Fair enough. However, I find it suspicious that my payment method suddenly worked when I arrived with the physical University stamped credit card from where I said I worked. I think this cashier thought I was trying to scam their business and was rejecting my payment on purpose. And I don't want to assume that it was racially motivated, but I am Black and the thought certainly crossed my mind. At the very least, this person's actions were bad business practice. If a customer tells you that their form of payment works and you reject it on two separate days without trying to do any troubleshooting on your end, that's bad business. And, if they had a policy that mandated a physical card be used for purchases above a certain amount, I would have been happy to honor that. However, no such policy exists and I cannot help but believe that he assumed I was trying to scam him with my Apple Pay. If it was racially motivated or not, I had to come back in the middle of the day on a different day just to pay, which was extremely inconvenient. Not satisfied with my service at all.

Food was delicious. Full of flavor but not heavy. Will definitely come back to try more options.

Great banh mi! Bread and ingredients are fresh, and always a solid lunch. I always grab one the day before for roadtrips.

Got pho, banh mi, and veggie spring rolls. The pho and banh mi delivered. Only complaint with banh mi is that it wasn't served on a baguette, rather it was on a hoagie bun. The spring rolls were not our favorite. I felt like there wasn't much taste. And I had heartburn for a while and a fishy taste that lasted for a long time.

Amazing pho and bahn mi. The pho broth is so rich and flavorful yet clean, crisp, and refreshing. One of the best pho I’ve ever had.

Family-owned neighborhood gem. Come for the pho, leave with a banh mi! To go bowls are perfect since they come in a bowl where you just pour the stock over the dish. Yum!

Fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced!

Its a hidden gem! One of my favorite places for richly seasoned lemongrass chicken or spiced crispy pork-belly bahn mi. Or go for the pho and get a generous amount of veggies and brisket in a savory broth. Glad I happened upon this place years ago. Vegetarian options are available.

Pho soup is clean, authentic. If you are in the area and craving for a bowl of pho, come here. The meat choice is limited: tai, nam, and bò vien only. We also ordered banh mi for the road trip.

The best Banh Mi in New Orleans! We lived in Ho Chi Minh for two years, and whenever I miss the food, Le’s Baguette Banh Mi Cafe is my go to place for it. They have been warm and caring towards me and my kids just like I experienced in Vietnam. Highly recommended!

Good, solid, local vietnamese restaurant. I got the pork eggrolls and chicken vermicelli noodles. So good! Made to order, fresh. And it's in the cutest little neighborhood.

Phenomenal pho, the broth was perfect. Big bowl for a good price, laid back place. Will definitely be back.

Okay, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, it is called Bahn mi cafe after all, but my boyfriend and I were craving pho and this place was listed as one of the best bowls in Nola. It was SO BLAND, the most disappointing bowl of pho we've ever had. Broth was flavorless like it had been cooked for less than an hour, and the meat was very tough. Also got a pork belly bao, the bao bread was not great. But the pork belly was fantastic and the only redeeming thing about this experience, though the portion was very small. Will not be back. We will satisfy our pho craving at Saigon noodles when passing through lafayette until we find a better local place.

The first time I was here, I chose it thanks to Google pics and reviews and im happy i did. The porkbelly bahn mi was scrumptious! It was a take out order. Second time here I dined outside. I had the steak and brisket pho and I had to have another pork belly bahn mi!! The broth was so 🔥 🔥. I loved the flavor of the broth I didn't even have to add anything to it. I will definitely make this my spot for pho and bahn mi while I'm working here in LA.

Great food and fantastic, friendly service. The spring rolls were a nice starter, the Bahn Mi sandwich bread was perfect, the Bun vermicelli bowl had a generous amount of pork on it, and the Vietnamese iced coffees were delicious. Highly recommended and thank you!

Delicious phở with rich, flavorful broth! Chicken was tender and plentiful, and the noodles were perfectly cooked (al dente, without being hard or a gluey mass). Vegetables were crisp, fresh, and clean. While their menu is limited (don't expect that they will have every Vietnamese dish), what they do have is amazing. Excellent Cà Phê Sữa Đá. Don't miss this wonderful restaurant tucked in a quiet neighborhood!

I had good time with their foods and the owner was very nice to us as well !! This cafe is good for relaxing with small cafes foods. I also ordered Vietnamese coffee which was awesome !!

We have visited almost every Pho place in a 200 mile radius. I can't imagine why people have rated this Pho high. It is not quality Pho. The one positive is that the ingredients were fresh but there is apparently very little knowledge about what Pho should actually taste like. It was salty water and that was about it. The noodles were very good and on point but the actual broth was not good. Pho should leave you craving more, this place was so bad we went searching for better Pho after we paid for this just to fill ourselves up. So disappointing!

This is the BEST Veggie Pho I've ever had! The broth is so amazing! If I feel any sniffles or scratch throat I go and get this and it goes away! I just bought the Broth when I had to prep for a colonoscopy and still was amazing. The Tofu Spring Roll are also amazing! The Tofu if prepared perfectly! I drive all the way from NO East!

Bahn mi was so good! We had the tofu without Mayo to make it vegan and it was tasty. Fab service.

Ordered lemongrass pork banh mi with a shrimp/boiled pork shrimp roll & boba tea. Wow! So delicious. The bread was 👩‍🍳💋 & the pork was very flavorful. The sauce on the banh mi was a great touch. The spring rolls are made fresh & you can tell....plus that sauce! Staff were very friendly & owner was in/out bringing in groceries. We promised we would be back & we will. Excited to have this in our neighborhood! Can't wait to try the Bun & Pho 💜💜

We had the spring rolls, shrimp pho, pork banh mi, strawberry boba and a Vietnamese coffee. Everything was great! Spring rolls were fresh, the peanut sauce was very good. The broth in the pho was well made, and the banh mi was on point.

My girlfriend and I have made this our go to spot when we are craving pho. Had my first Boba here and nothing has compared since. Service is great and we love the old man who works there.

Arrived about 50 min before close and was told its take-out only as others sat at multiple tables and waited for their food to be served. Portions were very small, especially for the price. Food overall was fairly good but nothing to get excited about...

This place was utterly charming. A family business in thr middle of an enchanting family neighborhood. Visit near sundown for a whiff of jasmine and magic in the air. Get the pork belly, it's so moist.

Fresh, tasty, and worth the walk, drive, or streetcar if not close by. In visiting NOLA, there were so many wonderful (heavy) things to eat, so I was looking for something lighter and healthier. Glad I found this place less than a mile from my hotel. I turned it into a walk and found new pockets of businesses that I hadn't know about on previous visting including a wine cellar and coffee shop. Go check out Le's!

Super solid place in New Orleans for Vietnamese food - super cheaply priced and the waiter was super funny - he came over and said hi to our group a few times. Good: I got the vermicelli dish and I really liked the lemongrass chicken - it was quite tasty and was a big portion size. I also tried the pho and it was similarly tasty - I wanted to drink all of the soup in the dish which is a rare thing that happens with a pho place. The bao also tasted really good - we got a bbq bun. It was small, but tasty and savory. The best part is that the food arrives super quickly here! Almost no wait time. Bad: It's super casual, not so much seating inside so we had to split our group of ten. Overall a really good experience and really would come back again!

Our group tried the bahn mi, lemongrass pork vermicelli, jasmine rice with garlic chicken and the rice with pork loin. Umami goodness. Everything was absolutely exceptional, down to the Thai boba tea. It’s a lovely, quiet restaurant. Please check them out!!

My BF took me there cuz we were craving some Pho. And we were not disappointed! He said last time he had such delicious Pho in Italy! Fun fact :) beef & brisket pho and chicken vermicelli bowl yammy!!!

Owner is friendly and made this an enjoyable spot. Tofu spring rolls were very good. The banh mi sandwiches had very good french bread. We had the pork belly and tofu (both pictured). Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The pho is okay but lacks many common ingredients. The service is rationed too. No plates. No napkins. Ok if you are in the neighborhood and want convenance.

Been coming here for three years now and I just love this place. Tofu banh mi is the best in the city in my book, that sriracha aioli is rockin. The pho bangs, everything is always fresh and reliable and the family who runs this place is absolute class, they’re so friendly and funny. I look forward to seeing them every time I go. 😎🐒🎟🗿

I’ve been to Le’s more than any other restaurant in New Orleans, and they have never let me down. I recommend chatting with them as they make you a marvelous bowl of verm or a scrumptious bahn mi. They’re simply very cool folks running a great Vietnamese restaurant

I’ve only ever gotten takeout. The service is pretty polite and fast. Their beef pho is pretty tasty - not the best I’ve ever had, and the portions could be a little bigger, especially considering the price. Also, for some reason they don’t do bean sprouts and fresh basil with their pho, which is something that I know every other pho restaurant I’ve tried has included with their pho. I thought that was odd. So although I don’t LOVE this place, I would say they’re convenient, affordable, have a cute atmosphere, and do things well. I’ll probably be back because they are so close to where I live!

Restaurant closes at 8pm and we got there before 7:25pm. Walked in and the guy looks at us and doesn’t say anything. Takes him a few minutes to tell us we’re closing soon so only take out... well then make sure you have a sign that you don’t seat serving after 7pm.

I had vermicelli noodle bowl (bun) of grilled lemongrass pork, and tofu spring rolls. Very good fresh tasting, crispy - what I want from Vietnamese food. Their sauces are delicious!

This place was was great! Amazing tai boba tea, tasty pork belly bao buns and delicious beef banh mi. Really friendly service! I’m from out of town and read the reviews on line, this place was must on my list for food in New Orleans and it did not disappoint.

The tapioca in my boba doesn’t taste like the tapioca I’ve had in the past. It’s not as tasty in my opinion, but still okay. Not sure if this was their fault or not, but they completely ignored all of my delivery instructions for mixing the boba with two flavors into a smoothie although I paid extra for a mix in. Still pretty good, just not what I ordered.

Great spot off the beaten path. Very well hidden gem in Uptown. Definitely feels like a family run establishment that cares. Counter service yet hospitable, the menu and kitchen are small, yet the flavor is grand and hard to find elsewhere in New Orleans. We had the pork egg rolls as well as the pork belly bang mi and the pork belly steamed bao buns, everything is as amazing!
