Great food for cheaper on the beach, but it’s a giant shame they took out all the old gaming consoles and replaced them with paid arcade games and claw machines. Burger of the week for $10 was a great meal and the tater tots have this delicious seasoning on them that pair great with blue cheese.

Food is fine to pretty good. Service is friendly. Good beer selection. I’m a sour guy and they had enough. But it is a must visit if you can walk home.

The kolsch is really good, and the bartender was incredibly nice!

The food was so good, the service was very friendly and attentive and great atmosphere for anyone to roam around and play some games! I recommend the pork pullin nachos!!

A favorite spot for my family to stop before dinner. A huge selection of always changing beers, friendly bartenders, and a fun patio to hang out. It's a nice watering hole with tons of variety for beer fans, a full bar for mixed drinks, and a nice cigar shop next door.

Horrible, the place was dead .. ordered a simple meal of Mac and cheese with shrimp.. GROSSSSSSSSS, Shrimp were rock hard, cheese sauce was pure water and fishy... HORRIBLE. Ruins a date when one person doesn't get to eat....

Amazing burger. Great tots. I had the pulled pork sandwich and bacon mac. Can’t go wrong. The burger definitely takes the cake though.

Great place for cooling off and having a beer flight!

This is a mixed review. The food we had was tasty: I had the barbecue pork sandwich ($13), my brother had the Cheese and Chong burger ($16), both of which were delicious and well-worth the price. I also ordered a couple beers which were good. We played a couple of Playstation games at our table while we waited for our food. The issue comes in my wife's "meal." She ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer as her meal; she wasn't interested in the sides that came with the shrimp, so she figured she would just get the appetizer instead. For $14 dollars we figured it was a fair price compared to the other two meals. When our food came she had only FOUR SHRIMP on her plate along with a bit of mango chutney! Four shrimp as a "shareable" for the table; $3.50 per shrimp. Completely ridiculous. Again, the food we HAD was good, and the beer was tasty. Just do not order the shrimp. Maybe even ask about portions before you order.

I am one person of a party of Approx 10 people that was FIRST through your door today on July 19, 2024 at OPENING Time. The waitress was very good, too good for this place. When we got our appetizers Nachos and Fried Pickles it was SATURATED in salt which is not needed for those appetizers. We were served our meals which was mostly Double Smash Burgers & Clam Strips that has already, as of now about 5:15pm, made 2 people sick and I only ate one of my patties but I DIDN'T TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE AFTER I VISITED THAT DISCUSTING WOMENS BATHROOM THAT WAS BAD ENOUGH TO HAVE THAT NEW RESTAURANT SHUT DOWN. THE OWNERS OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. My grandmother owned 2 restaurants/Bars in Virginia so I know what a restaurant is supposed to look like, including restrooms. It is sad that our waitress worked hard to serve us and SHE DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB and we still TIPPED HER VERY WELL BUT, due to the above SHE LOST A GROUP OF CUSTOMERS THAT WOULD "POSSIBLY" RETURN AND ASK FOR HER IN THE FUTURE. WE DID NOT BRING THE ABOVE PROBLEMS UP TO MANAGEMENT BUT, WE WANT THE OWNER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO KNOW WHY NOBODY FROM THIS GROUP WILL EVER RETURN OR STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. CHECK YOUR CAMERAS ON THE ABOVE DATE AND TIME. THAT WOMENS BATHROOM IS DISCUSTING AND THROW OUT "ALL" OF THOSE CLAM STRIPS THAT MADE 2 PEOPLE IN OUR PARTY SICK. TO THE WATRESS: YOU ARE A VERY GOOD WAITRESS AND PLEASE FIND ANOTHER ESTABLISHMENT BECAUSE THIS ONE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT IT'S EMPLOYEES OR CUSTOMERS.

The food was OK but it gave me and my wife food poison. Server ignored my family multiple times and didn't bring food out for certain members of the group for 5 to 10 minutes after we started to eat.

Loved that they gave gluten free beer and it's amazing.

This is a nice brewery with great food and a nice selection of beers. The bartenders and other staff were really nice. It was a great place to cool off and have a drink on a hot day at John's pass! You have to pay to park while at Johns pass also.

The food is average chain restaurant quality. It's not great, but it's ok. There was a big flaw in the food, however. Everything is served on plastic plates with plastic utensils. This is a problem when you order the chop salad. It's basically just a half head of lettuce with copious toppings (see photo). Sounds good right? Nope. There is not room to cut this thing up and eat it. On top of that, try cutting into a head of lettuce with a plastic knife and fork. This is where the service comes in. We asked for a metal knife and fork to make things easier. Our waitress told us that it would be a liability to have metal silverware. Then she offered no other solution. She also forgot to bring drinks several times and just generally had a poor attitude with our table. The chips dip trio came with 8 chips. We asked for more chips and we were told it would be and extra $1.00. ok, we're already on the hook for $12.00 for the appetizer and then you want another dollar for chips so we can actually eat the dips? My expectations were low already because this is a popular tourist area, but this was bad.

Been here many times but ever since Covid, the experience is a mere shadow of its former self. We sat at the bar for a quick n cozy experience but recieved the total ignore, so we switched to a comfy booth where our server Terra treated us to a warm welcome and promt service. Thanks to Terra for saving the day.

Don’t spend your $$ on music they will not turn the jukebox up sadly

Bring your dollar bills and quarters for the kids, so they can play the games. The kids menu is lacking a bit, i know it's a bar but maybe have some French fries available. The menu is great with a decent amount of options.

Great place to get out of the heat while at johns pass. Plenty of room and good beer and crab dip.

A little disappointing for lunch

Had the shrimp crab legs combo and it was just what I exoected - delicious. Red sangria wasn’t too sweet. I was by myself but great place to come with a party. Definitely would come again!

came out to dinner last night w the family & while the menu was great, food was good, our server was awful. i totally understand getting frazzled when it gets busy, however, after bringing us our food, 3/5 of us needed refills. she said “i’ll go grab those refills, is there anything else i can grab for you?” 28mins later with no refills she comes back and asks if we are ready to check out. didn’t ever come back with drinks, didn’t stop in to make sure everything came out to our liking. she also didn’t acknowledge the fact that she hadn’t come back to our table in half an hour, just tried to give us the bill. unacceptable. wish i remembered her name! she has dark hair & glasses. so not only did we not have anything to drink with our meals, we sat and waited forever to check out and leave because she stopped checking in on us. on another note, the appetizers are tiny. definitely not shareable for more than two people.

We couldn’t even go into The restraunt! As soon as we walked in there was just this completely awful smell where we couldn’t even bare to just hold our nose! Prefer the caddy’s down the street.

Beautiful brewery with delicious food. I tried their Pina Colada brew and it was so good. We've been here 3 more times and the food is always great! The Shrimp was great, hot or cold options. We also tried their Smash burger 😋 Their tots are literally the best I've ever had; light, seasoned....just the right amount of crunch. Last night we enjoyed the homemade hummus. Great light bite to share.

Great atmosphere and decent food but terrible customer service. The waitress was not helpful at all. When we asked for a knife to cut the wedge salad she said “we are not allowed to bring our real knives because it’s a liability”. When we asked if she could bring the salad back to the kitchen to have them chop it she said “they will just say no”. We also ordered the chips and dip appetizer and only received 9 chips … when we asked if she could bring some more chips she said “I can but it is a dollar”.

The beer was good and the nachos were ok but nothing I would go back for.

Ordered $35 half lb shrimp and crablegs boil- Super delicious!! Loved the seasoning they used and the shrimp were cooked perfectly as well. Some of the best crab legs and shrimp I’ve ever had! I ordered a side of ranch dressing to dip the steamed potatoes which was delicious as well! Highly recommend this dish. We also ordered the coconut shrimp platter. It was decent but nothing amazing. Only came with 5 shrimp and a tiny portion of coleslaw. Coleslaw wasn’t very good, very bland. It also came with tater tots but they came out cold and also seemed a little bland to me. But several people ordered the tater tots at our table and they all seemed to like them, so maybe it was just me. Our table did a beer sampler and our favorite was the Dolphin Drool, which is a nice hoppy IPA. Wr hd 2 young kids with us, a 4 yr old and a toddler. The ambiance was perfect because there were lots of games to play. We could hardly get them to sit down and eat their dinner they were so excited! They had aome games for adults too like cornhole and basketball. We sat inside for dinner and then moved out to the outdoor patio that overlooks the shops for drinks. We had a lovely time. Great service too. Our waitress was very attentive. We would come back.

Great atmosphere but that's where it stops. Terrible service at the bar. The bartender had a crappy attitude, was slow, and ignored people. The food was tasteless. The pasta was watery and the popcorn shrimp was probably from Gorton's. The beers were unremarkable and overpriced for the taste. Don't waste your money.

It's a fun atmosphere, even when there's not a lot of people around. Our waitress was really cheerful and friendly. There were a lot of great options on the menu, even for my sister with gluten/dairy restrictions. The beer selection is large, of course. There aren't as many ciders as there used to be, but I highly recommend the strawberry cider, it was SO refreshing 😋

Beers were OK, def not may favorite in the area. Service was colder than the beer. Bartender was snippy and a bit rude. She let us taste three taps, then went to the other end of the bar to chat with a friend/regular. Eventually flagged her down, and snipped “your ordering or just tasting”. Obnoxious. I don’t come out Madeira way often, but I won’t come here

We had a wonderful lunch there today! We started off with boneless wings and then both had a burger. My husband went for the Cheese &Chong burger and substituted a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing for the tater tots. Everything was wonderful and we left there stuffed!! Don't let this place get away! I'm not sure people realize it's upstairs at John's Pass

The service was good. Let me just say Tatchos. They're a must have. Omg! We also got the shrimp boil. The boil was just ok. I wouldn't order it again. It was 39.00, the shrimp was a little over cooked the potatoes under & the sausage was forgettable. But the tatchos are a perfect 10.

Service was good, and the food was even better! We had the pulled pork nachos which had the perfect amount of toppings, Buffalo chicken sandwich, and a big burger. The sauces they use on everything were very tasty. Atmosphere was a little boring but the could just be because it was a slower week night. We will be back!

One big problem...rest was great. Why on earth would you serve your customers on PLASTIC PLATES, UTENSILS, and WATER CUPS??!!! It's extremely tacky and I felt like a child at a picnic...There is no excuse for this. Was told they switched during the C19 thing but never switched back...what a joke, there is zero rational justification for this. Your servers have to hear about this and must constantly embarrassed by this absurd decision. Change it, yesterday...

We enjoyed ourselves! The gator po boy and cheese and Chong burger were delish!!! We had a 6 flight of beers which were good! Big area with games and fun! Check this place out !!

Pretty generic in terms of craft beer offerings. Food isn't spectacular. Service was somewhat apathetic, which was the overall vibe I got from the staff while we were there. There's far superior tasting beer to be had just a few miles in either direction of Pinellas as much, much better breweries whom take their craft much more passionately.

Food was pretty good, and their drinks selections were like no other. All sorts of liquor and beer options. They also had Marijuana and shroom drinks, which was an interesting switch up. Pretty chill environment, and it's in with al the shops, so it's a nice stop in the middle. Recommend if you're down that way!

Stopped for dinner while on vacation our server, Brian, was attentive and knowledgeable on the drinks the table asked about. The booths are ginormous, we were a party of four and they sat us in what I can only imagine is a 6-8 person table (though I am not complaining at all, its just the largest booth I've ever sat in). A family member loved that there was a TV with a PS1 with some games on it, that he played in the booth while waiting for food. The food was delicious, the drinks were, in my opinion worth the price. Without drinks you'll probably pay around $15-$20 per person. Our party was happy with the outcome. Thanks for a lovely experience.

If heading to John’s pass this place is a must stop! I had a simple burger and fries and was awesome! Had the dolphin drool beer and I liked it and was a bit sweet. They have so many options to choice from.

Another unique craft brewing company. IPA’s are great and appetizers were good.

First couple times we went it was great. Took some family there and the service wasn’t great. Didn’t put in our appetizer or check on us. Main was cold. Again, server never came back. We’ll give it another try but too many other options in the area for this place not to be great.

Quite possibly the worst meal I have had in a long time. Wings were under cooked, blackened spice equals no taste....will not be back.

The service was so slow we returned to our car with a $63 ticket, after paying $25 for the first two hours. It was more than 2 hrs for dinner for a party of 4.

Stopped in for a beer while my wife shopped. Great selection to choose from. I had theSchwarzbier and it was delicious.

Seems like it has so much potential. Huge open space up top that has tables, and some games. Great idea, but could definitely could be made into a much better atmosphere. Our service was horrible. Kids meals showed up about 10 minutes after adult meals had (meaning kids ate majority of our meals and when theirs showed up, they wanted nothing to do with them). Staff did a lot of congregating and not much else. So much there if it seems there was more leadership and a stern voice of reason looming around. Food was good, but it did not make up for all the extra issues at hand.

Beer. Go here for the beer. I brew beer, brew hard apple cider, and judge homebrew. This place knows good beer. We loved their Hefeweizen ("Banana Hammock") and their Maderia Vice (American IPA). Also loved their ciders - coconut hard apple cider - well done! Loved their Key Lime hard coder, too. Oh, we really liked the food, too. The picture shows blackened mahi-mahi with no bun. And the jerk chicken with no bun.

If you are looking for a peaceful shady nook to relax for a bit and enjoy a tasty bite.... tucked away on the 2nd level of John's Pass is a great find! Away from the crowds is a really comfy outdoor booth seating where I experienced something extra special......their Jelly Donut Burger with a side of Tots dipped in Cocktail Sauce! You would NEVER think tots in cocktail sauce would be a good match but it IS! And the burger was the perfect mix of sweet, salty and savory....a total winner and enough left over for dinner tonight! Loved it! Two thumbs up from this happy customer! And thank you to my sweet server who suggested the cocktail sauce with tots!!

After trying several restaurants on John’s pass by far the best. Super fast, super fresh, hot food. Emily T was awesome and very knowledgeable. Only wish they had a liquor license but the sangrias were great!

Loved the feel of this place. Loved the flight of awesome beers. My FIL and CIL shared the big flight between us. The beers are very well made and balanced. Wish I rated them all on untapped in the moment. Only had the Fried pickles since I already ate. But the food menu looks great and the pickles were delicious. Good service. Next time I'm back in town this will be a stop.

We went with a large group and got seated immediately. The kids enjoyed the games and the food was great! The beer was top notch as well.

Okay the food is outstanding, the service is absolutely perfect, friendly and on the ball. Finally the prices are very reasonable, four people with dinners and several rounds of beer with tip wasn't more than $120. Gotta go and try it out if you're visiting.

This is always one of our favorite spots when in the area. We love the food and the selection of beer. Our most recent visit wasn't the best, but we will still go back. We would love to see the beer served colder. We order the Plank almost every time, but it is never cold enough until the end. Would love to see the Plank offered with an ice pack on the bottom, or if they could add some type of ice strip to their planks, that would be great! Service is always awesome. Never a complaint there! Edit: Ordered my usual Totchos. Was disappointed in the beer cheese. Definitely not what it used to be 😞

What a great night. What an unexpected delight. The staff is fun. They are knowledge about their wine and beers with excellent service. Bing ball games, deep sea life projected on the wall, jukebox, corn hole, 28 options worth of local excellent beers and cider that is made here. Flights of 28 or 6 beers are the specialty of the house. Locals, and everyone comes here because something resonates with them about the beers and ciders that are made here. Plus, they serve wines made by a Florida winery that has a store below. Elevator available. Handicap accessible bathrooms.

Check out the tap list. It has a surprising variety of beers for the location. Hoppy, sour, dark, as well as ciders. Got a flight of 6 and they all exceed my expcetations. My preference is for dark and malty beers which one doesn’t usually find many options for in Florida. I recommend looking them up on Untapped for detailed ratings. Got the boneless wings, pickles and chips and dips which were all decent and came out fast. Service was friendly but a bit amateur. My flight was filled to the top and some spilled. Waitress walked away and left me to clean it up myself.

Cool place with indoor and outdoor seating. A few games inside and some pretty unique menu items. Definitely worth checking out.

This was the last time will be to this restaurant have tried it four times and it keeps getting worse paid $15 for turkey meatloaf that was uneatable $70 meal served on paper plates and plastics silverware never going back

Excellent service yesterday afternoon on 12/2. Food and drinks were great. Wondering why this place isn’t busier. Great overall establishment.

I’m a local and this place is one of my absolute favorites! The on site produced brews are amazing; flights are my treat to myself. I really only do appetizers and I’ll say that the hummus and fish dip (spread) are my favorites though, the offer many other choices which don’t mimic the same old stuff so many other restaurants have. Every month they also offer specials with one special monthly themed. Great place especially if you’re hankering for something different.

This isn't a super touristy spot lots of foot traffic and I'm not too fond of paying to park. With that being said I will pay the park to come back here I was 100% blown away and was not expecting the beer to be as good as it was. Most of the time when it's in really touristy spots either the food or the beer is a little off but here everything was amazing the service the people the beer and if you're brave enough you can walk the plank.. I can't say enough good things we had two flights of beer and there was not one bad beer we tried that day. I'm definitely coming back anytime I am in the area. Can't say enough good stuff about this place really felt at home everybody was super friendly and tons of options.

Everything from the food & drinks down to the service was amazing. The totchos were a nice appetizer and the buff chicken sandwich & smash burger with bacon were simply delicious. Great prices on food and drinks.

My husband and I come here every year for vacation and this place never disappoints. If she's available, have Virginia make your drinks. Best cocktails in town and her service is exceptional!

As a person from the Creole South, I can say this is one of the best places I've been to for Cajun food in a really long time. They have some wild burgers (one has jelly donuts for buns) and of course excellent beer as they are a brewery. I got a dolphin drool. It was a very refreshing American pale ale, very hops-y with a light citrus taste.

We love this spot! We had to stop going for a while since we had a baby, but we went in recently with our son and he had a blast with all the machines and such while we had a couple drinks.

Beer selection is awesome - 28 taps counting the cider. It's a pretty cool place, very casual as you'd expect in a beach town. Food was good, but they serve their fish spread appetizer with saltines in those 2packs - way too expensive for that, needs to be pita chips or something nicer. Portions are generous. Parking is adequate and close by, at least during the week.

Stopped in here to grab some lunch and some delicious beer. It didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Cheese and Chong smash burger and it was delicious but so rich I could only eat half of it! I definitely would get it again but share it! I ordered a flight and every beer on it was great. My five that I decided on was the Seeing Dooble IPA, Dolphin Drool Hazy, Madeira Vice, Pumpkin Alley, Munich Dunkel, and Marzen Oktoberfest. I would literally order this exact flight again. Wouldn’t change a thing. My wife ordered “I Yam what I Yam” and loved it. If you happen to be around this shopping area pop in and grab a pint and a burger. I highly recommend it!

Was there for a wedding reception but the craft beer and hard cider is really good. Food was also really good.

Beer was good. Menu severely dumbed down from what I remember and entree was tasteless with massive amount of rice and beans. Paper plates and plastic silverware for an $18 meal definite deal breaker.

LOVED the strawberry cider. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was amazballs!!!!
