Very impressed on how good the food was, especially the bacon n cheese fries. It was right on the beach you could either eat there with the beach view or eat at the beach.

The kids ordered hot dogs and they were giant!!! The fish sandwich was delicious.

Need to add something green to the menu, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, etc. as a substitute for French Fries. Still, the food was great!

This is the perfect spot for an affordable meal on the beach. Amazing ocean views and the food is fantastic. My boyfriend and I agreed these were some of the best burgers we've ever had, and the fries are great too. This will be a place we come back to from year to year!

Used to be a great place for locals for decades. Live music and parking. New Yorkers and tourists have ruined this location. Good luck finding parking or really anything else. Once again New Yorkers have ruined another Florida spot. Keep it up guys and it won’t be worth living here anymore.

This is a perfect spot to enjoy with friends, sunsets, entertaiment, food and our beautiful beaches! All wrapped up in one big package! This place is the best!

The fish fry was probably the best I’ve ever had! I usually need tartar sauce with my fish fry but this one was so good I didn’t need it!

Normally I really love this place, I used to live here and come to visit her every time I come to florida, but this time they gave me the same amount of ice cream for Two Scoops as a one scoop, I was sitting across from someone with the same amount of ice cream the less money. I went to make a complaint and they just kind of ignored me and laughed at me and were rude to me. This is never happened before. Won't be back

Great atmosphere on the beach. Service is amazing. Helen behind the bar is literally the best bartender I’ve ever seen. Always a great attitude. Live music on the patio is always a lot of fun. Great place for sunset.

I ordered a straight shot of tequila, not chilled mind you, but come to find out they water down all of their liquor. Extremely evident, diluted much too obviously. Is managment aware these clowns are pouring water into the liquor bottles? Scammers.

Geez , with this place. Have you been here? While staying in Redington Shores, we required a CVS. We walked thisaway and bam! We ended up here for a quick drink. Boston Bob was playing and wonder was in the air. Was a perfect moment. You would like it, I’m pretty sure.

I got shrimp tacos and it was okay. Honestly the shrimp was insanely good. Probably some of the best I’ve had with the seasoning. Instead of tacos, I’d recommend doing what my hubby did and get a spinach salad with shrimp (or the Caesar that comes with shrimp). The side of shrimp was like $6 or so but super good and a decent portion. That on the spinach salad was 🤌🏻 delicious!

The drinks are a bit pricy, but the fish tacos were delicious. Can’t beat the location near by the beach. Very convenient for food and drinks.

Worst drinks ever. margaritas awful. Made with a mix out of a milk carton. Tasted like I don't know. FOR $17🍹🫣 Complain and they will offer a different drink, a little better but nothing freshly made. If you enter the shop you pass by the open kitchen, make up your own mind if you want to eat there.

It's such a perfect location to enjoy a few drinks while looking over the water, enjoying some beautiful music and delicious food, and you can even grab a gift or two from the little store. Can't wait to return again and again and again.

Cute little place off the beach. Has snacks, soft drinks and adult beverages available. Tom Davis singing on Thursday afternoon was a treat.

Went to order and the girl was dripping in sweat and blowing her nose at the register. Absolutely disgusting. The guy in the back was sitting on the counter.... such a shame because the view and karaoke was amazing.

Great spot for a bite to eat while on the beach. Music by Boston Bob was good. Sat for a while before heading to the beach. Servers at bar do a great job of ensuring that the wait is not too long. The bacon cheeseburger was great real bacon and fresh hamburger Not frozen patty!! The nachos were good. Overall good 'murican experience.

It was all right, about the same as if you were to make a breakfast sandwich at home and take it with you to the beach. It was a windy day, so our napkins and everything blew around. Gets the job done, but nothing special. You are right by the beach, though, so that is a plus.

The Burger here reminds me a lot of a "In And Out Burger", Fresh. Very good

Food was over fried but was tasty good price, life music by the beach its a plus. The employees wasn't the nicest. They should give printed menus or QR codes.

We had BLT sandwiches and the fries were the best I've ever had.

The people are friendly. The workers are wonderful. The drinks and food were amazing. One of the best places at the beach. And of course the view is awesome!! Sun, sand, fun and food.

I ordered the nachos that were 9.99 that was labeled on there board I didn't pay attention to my receipt put the cashier charged me 8.99 when I asked for hamburger so I got my order and no hamburger I went back to the window to explain and the young lady argued with me said I didn't pay for it she argued with me instead of just giving what I asked for. Very under rated and expensive.

Great place to get a hot snacks such as pretzels nachos hotdogs and more. Whimsical mom n pop style laid back place. Gift shop window order service and live music in the evenings. Overall good place to get the kids a snack during the day and good spot for live music and an adult beverage at night.

My family had the pulled pork sandwich, nachos & shrimp tacos. Nachos were good but I was disappointed that they didn't have meat & it was a $6 upcharge to add it. Shrimp in the tacos was cooked perfectly and they were tasty if you added the coleslaw in. Otherwise the tacos only had red cabbage & shrimp in the tortilla. Pulled pork sandwich was nice. Music on Wed was cool, Thursday was nice but a little loud. We enjoyed the atmosphere & service was quick.

Awesome spot! The seafood platter is a must! Delicious fries, clams, shrimp. It’s right by the beach. They also have ice cream and a little shop inside as well.

We were definitely surprised by this place. Great place to grab a beer. Pricey, yes that is to be expected. Snow cones for the kids are huge. Shrimp tacos were a great choice and the chicken strips were over cooked and hard. Some nights they have live music but when they don’t it’s quiet, no music. The young lady serving the food was not very pleasant. I know working food is tough but people can tell and not good for the vibe.

They were very sweet, they even gave my service dog a water bowl. The food was great and such a excellent view. Didn't get a chance to go in or get ice cream but will definitely be back.

Great place for a day on the beach or just to drop in to grab a bite! Food is always good, even the salads. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu. Staff is very friendly. Bar is great, they serve beer and mixed frozen drinks, too. I've seen live entertainment on weekdays, besides weekends, although I don't know what their entertainment schedule is. Bathrooms are clean. This is one of my favorite places to come spend on the beach and have some good food and drinks on the beach! Go!

Very cool, laid back place. It is everything the name says. Great little shop with a really good kitchen. This is not 5 star dining, but a really good place to grab some breakfast or lunch and enjoy the views of the beach. Oh and the people watching is a bonus! I like the little tiki bar that serves beer and wine based drinks, and I’ll tell ya, they’re all that!!! Great hard working staff. Park, go get something to eat and drink and enjoy the beach shack Atmosphere! Sometimes they have live music, and it’s pretty darn good too!

I Spent over $300 dollars here at the bar gift shop deli and icees for the kids and when you sold my 7 year old son a shovel that immediately broke at the beach and wouldn’t exchange it for him ??? 🥺 It was a awesome day until it was ruined over a $5 dollar shovel …. Really??

As usual, the food (cheese steak and fries) was outstanding! Nothing better than lunch at the beach.

Ordered chicken wings, they don't have (ever)had 5rum and cokes and was able to walk a straight line🤣 found out that they don't have a liquor license, so it was wine BASED, I hate wine,The best part of the place is Hellen the bar mgr, she is so friendly and always happy,and must say the entertainment and sunsets are awesome there

One of our favorite places to visit on the beach! The staff is personable, sassy, and fun! They serve breakfast on the weekends. Local live music. A great place to catch the sun rise or sunset. Beach access/parking there. The shop has a lot of fun clothing as well as some really good ice cream!

I sure do love e this place. It just give me great vibes when I come here. I drive from Dunedin just to come here. Even though I have good places to eat at in my area I always enjoy coming hear. It the best for me.

Good people..bad burger but the good people fixed that hence i give them 5 stars.

The location is great but for the food the fries and chicken tenders tasted like they came from a freezer bag. Think there could be improvements on fresh food.

Prices are going up and the portions are getting smaller(alchohol). The food is delicious and the entertainment is excellent.

Love this place... however...if you park behind John's pass...you risk getting charged twice and getting a 63.00 parking ticket when you've already paid... twice :(

I just loved this place! After a long walk on the beach, it was the perfect place to stop for a quick lunch and cool off with some drinks. The patio and seating was very nice and relaxing. Great views. They also have a fun gift shop attached.

Looks cool, great atmosphere will order drinks and food next time ..it was bartenders bday, wished her happy bday and guessed her wrong age.....overestimated age based on maturity level but maybe I was wrong....she got snippy and made smart remarks which is bad customer service imo (business degree) not trying to get her in trouble ..she might need extra training on how to better handle the customers...not a bitter review, she's not my type so wasn't hitting on here.. just speaking facts of what happened and how it made me feel! This is my first time visiting Madeira Beach and the bar...which is cool ..I want the business to succeed and the bartender to keep her job...I can tell she works very hard but made me(customer) feel uncomfortable.... Anyways hopefully next time I'm there I can edit this review and be 100% positive...goodluck cool chill crazy bar;

Good burgers! "Dine in" is a misnomer as everyone eats out in the patio. We enjoyed it!

Food was pretty pricey the hamburgers looked great fries were okay The fish was not good seems like it was starting to go bad but it wasn't bad yet. Definitely not fresh. Customer service is pretty decent though.

Great place to have a drink by the beach. Live music, great service, good food. We really enjoyed the Madeira Beach Shack and just a short walk from our hotel.

Got 2 cutwater seltzers in the evening yesterday. They were dated from 5 months ago and when we took a sip, they were flat and tasted like beer when it was suppose to be a Mojito seltzer. Ive had the same ones before and it simply tasted like someone let it get warm time and time again, it made us sick to our stomach and was not worth $16. The bartender was not friendly at all either! We were going to stay and have some more drinks, but the quick experience was very offputting and we did not feel welcome.
