Food was delicious and the service was great!

Such a cute filipino mini mart and food court! I was nervous because I had never been before and the woman there was incredibly sweet. The food was delicious (we recommend the BBQ pork skewer, chicken curry, fried banana, lumpia, and pancit) and we were able to get snacks for the road :)

Not much to say. The food is authentic, its extremely tasty, the prices are amazingly affordable, and there is always a line. Its not a restaurant, its more a mini grocery store with hot food section, but non the less, the food is worth the drive every single time.

The owner runs this place well. Food is excellent & every staff member is friendly & courteous.

I enjoyed the chicken BBQ and the Asado Bread. Disappointed with the Halo- Halo did not have much ingredients in it- lots of Nata de Coco in different colors, munggo, kaong and the ice cream.

For the price point - it's the best Asian food in the area. $12 got us a platter we split among 3 people. Fast, friendly, and fresh Asian food.

This is not my first time here. I've been coming on multiple times and at different times. The food is less expensive and very tasty. Service is fantastic 👏

Walked in and found exactly what I was expecting... beautiful, hot, fresh and ready entrees at the counter on display.... beef stew, pork stew, fish options, veggie stews... fresh rice, pancit, and lumpia...lots of freshly baked doughs and pastries.... I ordered a combination meal: beef stew with lumpia and pancit. It was all fairly priced! I also ordered some plantain and jackfruit dessert, perfect crisp, loved the flavor! The beef stew had great flavor and the beef was falling apart at the perfect texture... I especially loved the vegetables in the stew. The pancit was exactly as I expected. Very good ! The lumpia was also amazing... at first glance it looked like it may be dry but it wasn't dry at all .. the flavor was perfect and not oily. I ate right then and there within 2 minutes of ordering and I bought extra to go. Convenient and lovely environment to eat; I really enjoyed the art work on the walls. The staff was extremely nice as well! There's also many pantry items to buy and take away such as treats, breads, condiments and sauces, special drinks, etc. I bought a big jar of sweet chili sauce on my way out :) I'm looking forward to returning.

A good place for Fil food. My wife’s go to place esp if she doesn’t like cooking for certain days. A great help to the Fil community that lives in the vicinity. Kudos to the owner.

Oh my goodness all the food is delicious! The lechon is soo crispy and I love their banana fritters. All the ladies that work here are really sweet and the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. I will definitely come back.

Lechon & Pancit bihon are always good! Kare Kare is super tender and flavorful too. End my visit with a Halo-Halo to go every time. Good pricing on hot foods and the market has a good selection. I always come here when I’m craving good Filipino food. Reminds me of home.

Small space for dine-in. But I loved all their foods like barbecue, lechon, dried fish, and other Pinoy desserts, including Halo-halo. Filipino delicacies are also available.

I love their food a majority of the time but the last time I went there I noticed little strands of lint in my halo halo. It was a turn off tbh. There was also small pieces of black hair in my girlfriends Kare kare. I’ll still go here but if that ever happens again then I won’t come back, sorry!

The staff are polite. I’m not filipino, so I have questions about some of the food and they let me try it and describe what’s in it. Food is fresh. Great food for a reasonable price.

The proprietor was very helpful and gracious. The food is authentic and "oh so delicious!" I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Filipino food.

My coworker told me about this place and I am so happy she did because my boyfriend is Filipino and it made him so happy to know that there is a Filipino cafe just down the street from my place.

First time ever ordering anything from this restaurant/store. Ordered lumpia- excellent taste. Ordered BBQ pork on a skewer-HORRIBLE, 99% unedible fat! The meatless skewers was a joke. I couldn't believe they would think this was edible. Hopefully they use a quality meat now but i doubt we will return.

I love eating and shopping as well.. the food is delish and the employee is nice and friendly.. I love it and highly recommend to my friends...I visit before just 3x and now I move in deptfrod closer most definitely weekly.. Manila Cafe you "ROCK MY WORLD".

Before I got food I looked around the market and they had a nice selection of Filipino goods. It’s always cool being able to try different snacks from around the world. For food we tried the fried plantain, seafood pancake, and the BBQ stick. The halo halo for dessert wasn’t for me but definitely was interesting. Overall pretty good food.

We tried Halo halo for the very first time and loved it! Also tried the flan, the sugar sauce had a burned taste but overall delicious.

A small cozy filipino restaurant, for the time being, our favorite until a Jollibee is built nearby. A bit pricey for the food they serve but other than that it has always satisfied our hunger. Good quiet atmosphere the staff are always welcoming and considerate. We frequent here often spending at least $50 or more. It is also store where you can buy food ingredients.

Homestyle, traditional, and flavorful Filipino staples in a warm, family-oriented setting. Staff were attentive and generous in their portions; you certainly won't leave feeling hungry! The Chicken adobo, arguably the hallmark of Filipino cuisine, is a must try. Tender, rich, bone-in chicken with notes of herbal bay leaf and vinegar; the perfect accompaniment to fluffy white rice. I am eager to return once again, hungry for more.

One of my favorite Filipino restaurant within a 60 mile radius. Plenty traditional dishes which they constantly cook fresh. Too much to list such as lechon, karikari and pancit. Fresh cooked lumpia. If you want dessert, make room. Their halo halo is perfect, not too much shaved ice topped with ube ice cream. I also gave this 5 stars because 1/3 of the property is a Filipino grocery that covers most of what I need. Most of all, the price is very good along with the service and atmosphere.

One of the nicest Filipino restaurants in NJ, very clean. The only thing I wish for is that you can pay for your meal right away so there isn't any confusion on pricing. The workers kept asking what I ordered and seemed confused since there were a lot of other customers. But the food is delicious!

amazing filipino food! huge portions for such a good price. their chicken adobo is to die for, as is the fried pompano. come on a weekend for delicious filipino spaghetti! grab some halo halo on the way out, and don't forget to check out the market for snacks for later :)

I've come here since 2016, pretty good food, this used to be my go-to for cheap eats, but the pork skewers over rice used to be a lot cheaper back then... I just paid almost $13 for 2 skewers, white rice, and a can of Coke (Coke can was rang up for $1.60?!?!?)

They have the best pancit! They used to have this pink,garlicky, shrimp paste fried rice with mango, it is out of this world! But they replaced it with regular fried rice. You can still have it made to order but it’s different. I wish they can bring it back .

Super nice and friendly staff, reasonable prices, awesome selection. Foreign enough to feel interesting but still totally for Americans, whatever reason they may be visiting. Just don’t forget that the credit card minimum is $10 with inflation.

It’s my first time here and I’m glad we stopped on our way. The food are all tasty. Ashley also has a very good customer service. The place is clean and have lots of choices. The price of food is reasonable as well.

This place had everything ready to pick from once you walk-in. Very friendly and extremely clean including the restrooms. Small market with fresh dessert to by on the run. Will come again!!!

So I'm pretty critical of Filipino food in the US (lot of times it's not great) since I've eaten it for about a decade and a half and can also cook many Filipino recipes. Plus lived in the DMV area, California, Korea, etc. (many Filipino enclaves). Plus my wife is Filipina.....But Manila Cafe & Asian Market is great. I just had their Sinigang Bangus Belly and Kare Kare. So good. Definitely impressed.

Best halo halo cup (Filipino dessert)!!! Authentic Filipino food & mini grocery store with some really fun snack items! Try the egg rolls! Yum! The fried rice is also really good. Totally affordable. Hidden gem as far as Filipino food is concerned! On weekends they have special oxtail dish!!! And on Sundays they have breakfast starting at 8am!!!! (Get some of their “ube” bread!!!! My goodness!!!! Addicting!!!)

Fantastic service and excellent food! The server was so kind and let us try some of the fish as we have never had it before. It was delicious! I had the beef stew and bbq skewer. I feel like there are enough options for everyone, even the pickiest of eaters. Food was slightly cold, however we went at the end of the night when they were closing and they were sadly out of lumpia. Overall, a hidden gem and cannot wait to return!

I wanted to buy more but there were no labels on the entrees. I hate having to ask, "What's this; what's that?" Particularly when dealing with young people. So I just got some lumpia and satay. It was good.

If you are craving for Filipino food, come visit Arlene. She has been serving the south jersey area for a few years now. Good place to eat in or take out food. She even does some catering for your party. Enjoy some pinoy snacks as well. FYI her husband Neil makes the best Halo Halo!

The food was very delicious the fish had a different taste and texture to it than what I'm used being that it's cooked in vinegar. But my favorite dessert is halo halo 😋 it was creamy, and had a very rich texture from the ice cream and jellies that were in it. I definitely recommend this place.

The variety of delicious foods and the friendly and helpful staff in this cafe is deserving of a 5 star rating.

Among Filipino restaurants within 20 mile radius, this is the only place I keep going back to.

I grew up in Hong Kong eating some classical Filipino dishes that my nanny cooked up. Visited Manila Cafe yesterday and it was a great experience. Staff was very friendly--we picked out our combo (pancit or rice with two dishes), ate at a table inside, and then went up again to order our dessert, and when we were done we went up to the counter again to pay. It felt like eating at a family owned operation. Food was delicious and reminded me of my nanny's cooking. I had pancit (perfectly seasoned), giniling with quail eggs (Filipino and frankly much better version of a pork Sloppy Joe), and lechon (perfectly crisp). My boyfriend had pancit, grilled pork (nicely smoky and has just enough fat), and bistek (he loved the sauce it was in). The halo halo with purple ube ice cream was great too and a must-have! We came at the end of the day so the food was a little bit cold, so make sure to visit around lunch hours.

I come here almost every week. Love this place.

It was my 1st time trying Filipino food I saw good reviews abt this place so I decided to check it out I went with the lechon pork belly and fried rice and it was amazing very flavorful the chicken and pork on a stick was delicious as well and the staff is very friendly and professional.

I honestly drive past two closer Filipino restaurants just to come to Manila Cafe! Their food is 100% authentic. Their prices are affordable. The staff is very friendly. It's also a great place to find out about other Filipino theme events going on locally.
