Wonderful roadside stand! The gentleman who owns the stand, as well as his assistant, are both very friendly with a side of light hearted humor. Located within a small nature preserve type area with picnic tables. Well priced and quick service.

Some people, like below, just need something to complain about.....Murph's stays in business because the food is great and not everyone is too miserable to take a joke and/or make some small talk......Still has the best dogs in the area!

This guy is rude, I don’t know how he stays in business? Hes snarky and rude to customers, and his exiting line is “want some onions on that so you can cry on it?” Your not funny. We just wanted some hotdogs and to be on our way, but apparently “your not going to ask how my day was before ordering” pissed you off. I can’t speak for the food, we never got that far.

I haven't been to Murphs in years, mainly because I'm seldom near Lancaster. I went for the first time in 5 years, and he recognized me right away. I forgot how good these hot dogs are. The Drive Home with hot mullish put a giant smile on my face. Murphs is the best around.

First time trying them out and by far best chili cheese dogs in the area. The taco dog was spicy but the flavor was amazing!! The chili and cheese used for the hot dogs is perfection. Owner is also the nicest person ever. There’s a little park in front of the food truck with a picnic table so it can be a nice spot to grab a dog and chill a bit. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot to enjoy a hot dog meal. I stop at this place whenever I am driving back from rte 495 and am hungry. Owner is happy to be here providing a good mix of hot dog toppings. Even though there is a line sometimes I find it moves quick. They also have a couple picnic tables and park benches. So if you have a little but of time it is nice to sit and eat on the grounds.

The most wonderful little wiener stand in the land! I met a wonderful gentleman with a good sense of humor accompanied by a very polite woman. I loved how fun and kind they were. I didn’t realize how delicious they would be on our road trip! He also added funny faces to the hot dogs which pleased my inner child. Thank you for the wonderful time!! He’s been around for over 17 years he told me, I hope for many more!

Stopped here on a whim not expecting much and was blown away. The two running the place were extremely personable and funny. There were plenty of options to choose from, all of which sounded delicious. The hot dogs we got were amazing in all ways. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place.

After going from a long trip from Bridgewater I was starting to get hungry and stopped here. This place was amazing, the customer experience was really nice. They have unique combinations of toppings and flavors that really go good together.

Earlier in the afternoon, my husband said he wanted a hotdog and hoped that we would find one in our travels. As we were Geocaching, we stumbled upon Murph’s hot dogs and were amazed that there was a hot dog trailer parked along the road. My husband’s dreams came true! Murph and Kim are super friendly and helpful! The hot dogs are delicious. Murph is a good time, and we took a selfie together before we left. If you’re wondering, we found the geocache! Murph would have helped us if we needed it!

Decent hotdog, but a weird interaction... My daughter and I stopped for a bite and since we were getting the same thing, I started to order for both of us and Murphy insisted that I let her order for herself. It was strange because my daughter is 24 and can very well speak for herself, but we were just ordering the same thing. He went on and on about his dad to where it became quite uncomfortable. She did finally order her lunch, but the funny thing was that he never took my order. I had to reorder with the younger woman.

One of the nicest guys I ever met. I asked about veggie meat and he said he could make me a custom veggie dog with what he's got. He was super friendly, and not condescending. I'm really happy I decided to check.

Myself and my family were really excited to try it out, but the guy was rude before we even got to the truck to order. I had a soda pop and was drinking and he was already upset about me throwing it out in his trash can which I didn't and wouldn't do to begin with. I don't think it's polite to use a small businesses trash for my own garbage. Besides I was still drinking it! Not a good first impression. It's not worth the attitude to eat there. And I know people like it. But I don't like being judged. We did buy food since my husband and daughter was excited. We even call it the hotdog park, lol. But I'll never eat there again. I can cook my own anyways. 🤷

Amazing best hot dogs and fritos pies ever

Murphy dog customer for life. Guess you could call my husband and I, "lifers" Not a single better dog stand anywhere else. And Murphy definatly has a good sense of humor. Did you know he actually contributes to that park area himself. All the bird housings are from his friend, but Murphy hangs them himself. Little do most know, within time it will become a bird sanctuary with all the housings going up in the trees. It's nice to see people contribute to our environment and the animals that inhabit that specific area. God is great, especially when he works through us humans for the greater good!

Everything a hot dog stand should be. The ingenuity really makes standard hot dogs more enjoyable. The price point is spot on for what you get. I wish they used a better quality hot dog, even if it requires a higher price point.

If I went back it would be first for the service and congeniality and second for the hot dogs.
