We had 6 different dishes and they were very good.

Regardless of the reviews I personally am pleased with their food and service!

Please don’t advertise that you deliver on here under delivery and then get rude when one calls to find out where the food is ? The owner/ manager was just obnoxiously rude as I said but I placed the order and it clearly said YOU DELIVER ? We had no car or way to pick food up and it was pretty late, I think they should be removed from coming up under delivery near me because they DO NOT DELIVER !

Definitely NOT the best, or No. 1 Chinese that we've had. Actually disappointed. Fried rice was not fried, tasted like steam rice with yellow coloring, flavor was not good, probably the worst fried rice Ive ever had anywhere. General Taos Chicken was so-so, Definitely not spicy at all, was soggy, not crispy. Best tasting on the plate was the broccoli. Also, had house Lomein, that didn't taste fresh either, noodles too soft, flavor was just okay. Egg Rolls not good, mixture inside the egg roll was mushy, not fresh. Disappointed, will not return.

Super friendly staff, the food is superb. Not leftover from lunch. It’s hot and freshly made. Sweet and sour chicken was crisp. The pork fried rice was banging👌🏼 and the homemade hot mustard was 🔥. Not sure why they have a low rating. I give this place 5 stars!

Amazing Chinese food the best I have had in many years

Surprisingly good! I had the Orange Chicken and the portion size was generous. Though a bit sweeter than I prefer it was nice that the chef added orange bits to the fried rice. I look forward to another visit.

I saw the cook drop an eggroll on the floor and pick it up, and put it back on the counter. I said something about it to the cashier and she played the “ no understand “. I left and will never go back.

Clean, fast, and pretty good food. Their crab rangoon, Gen. Tso's chicken and beef lo mein is recommended!

My chicken with mixed vegetables and pork. Fried rice was very good. The barbecue spareribs appetizer was over cooked and kind of tough and kind of expensive. Won’t be getting those again.

Got Hunan chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. Ordered extra spicy. Absolutely delicious. Kudos! Best Chinese I've had since moving here in July.

If this place delivered, it would be awesome. They advertise the delivery option, but they don't deliver and are rude when you ask.

Ordered take out the last two Sundays in a row absolutely delicious sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice, beef and broccoli and wonton soup absolutely delicious. Very friendly service

We were in the area in late afternoon. We decided to give No. 1 Chinese a try. I’m glad we did. We waited about 10 minutes for a “Happy Family.” We could see the food being prepared behind the counter with a deep fryer and wok. One other party was dining in the small eat in area. Another gentleman was also waiting for his takeout order. Our order was still hot when we got home about 20” later. The rice was excellent: moist and a generous serving. The main dish was plentiful; we had enough for four servings for two people. It has been our experience that Chinese restaurants have stacks of paper menus. I’ve wondered about that for pricing reasons. So I was a little surprised at the $2 increase from the printed menu and the price we paid. We will definitely be back. We were welcomed and our business was appreciated.

I've never had a bad meal, here. Everyone is always so kind and accommodating. Always delicious!

A lady mistakenly got my order… brought the order to her car was at her car for 5 min. Then she realized she got the wrong order, then she brought it back in. ( she had my order ) then the lady says “ oh she got your plate…” then expect me to take food from someone that brought it from their car and back in the store. And kept insisting that I take that food that someone already had. I will never but food from here again! Everyone in the store was shocked!!!

Great experience. My usual Chinese pickup is closed on Sunday and Monday. I was craving it bad. Tried No 1 Chinese Food and will be back. Food was great but the service was even better. Guy at front counter was friendly and was happy to serve. Appreciate being thanked for doing business with a company. .

Best food in town low priced and very friendly

Most Chinese food in our area is second rate. This was actually very good. We will go back

I was on a road trip heading home and stopped in here for lunch. Got the sweet and sour chicken dinner combo (comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll). The food was delicious and the sweet and sour sauce was the best I've ever had. The man at the counter was very nice, I recommend if you live around here or are only passing by.

Quick, clean, a lot of good food.

Four years ago, this place was not recommendable. However, NOW, they are under new owners and they are FANTASTIC. The owners are super kind and accomodating even with huge party orders. They have completely turned the place around and i absolutely recommend them. Best around.

This is a fast & friendly Chinese restaurant in the Publix shopping center near Brownwood Paddock Square/The Villages. Order some egg rolls and ask for their handmade mustard: it’s so fresh & overflowing with enough horseradish that your sinuses will instantly clear. More please!

It took a little time to make but the General Tso was excellent! Crispy chicken, sauce was tasty and with a lot of fried rice! I’ll be back soon!

I work near this location and come here frequently for lunch. Customer service is excellent and so is the food. Much better than the chinese restaurant that was hear previously. The new owners have really made this place great.

Ordered food for 6. This place is the greatest, every one was very pleased with their different orders. The service was above average, polite, exact, conscious.

Excellent now - was horrible before (new management in fall 2020) the chicken skewers were especially good along with the Mongolian beef- also enjoyed the general tso’s chicken and sweet sour chicken! Skip the chicken fried rice!

Decided to try them out and I was very glad I did. Ordering was a breeze. When I got there they had numerous bags lined up of to-go orders. The girl behind the counter was very nice, told me they were new owners and hoped I liked the food. She went over the order then pointed out where the condiments were in the restaurant. When I got home 10 minutes later the food was literally steaming hot. The portions were huge. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. Even today they were still talking about it. My new favorite Friday night go to restaurant.

The new owners are awesome! Food is always excellent! I highly recommend the Beef Lo Mein and the Boneless Spare Ribs.We eat there 3 times a week, sometimes.

Just left this place. My husband and I agreed it was some of the best Chinese food we have ever had! We live in Navarre Fl and were traveling home from Disney. We stopped here right off exit 304 and were quickly served some of the best sweet and sour chicken, general tso chicken, and lo mien. We had eggrolls and fried wontons too. All were exceptional! We have eaten at some good Chinese restaurants and this one is placed in the top. Will definitely stop again next time we go to Disney!

Lunch special "House Special Lo Mein" was really delicious!! Fast & Fresh! Always a great meal here! Fantastic Egg Rolls!

EDIT: I have been going this recent month and Idk if they changed hands, the cook or quality of the food but it has actually been very bad taste like you don't know what they're cooking it in, the meat the rice the egg rolls is a No. whoever they had when I first reviewed this cooking please PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. There food is the best Chinese around period. I'm from N.Y. there are many to claim having that good taste but this place doesn't claim but is actually close to it. The whole ribs are on point, fried rice is delicious and chicken wings. They are even very kind which I like in any business is to feel welcomed. Excellent place.

Quickly prepared and served fresh Chinese food.

I am new to the Villages and was wanting chinese, so I decided to try this place coming from Villages of Fenney and the only reason why I have them 4 stars is because the jumbo shrimp and vegetables was very flavorful, my egg roll was good. Not the customer service was terrible. Young lady sitting behind the soda cooler on her cell and when she ask me what I wanted, I told her I was not sure yet and she sat right back down. I know I will not be coming back to this location, even though you do get a good amount of food, but I will just have to drive a bit farther up 44 to the other Publix plaza and give that one a try.

Some good Chinese/American food!

My wife & I are used to New York area Chinese food which is typically very good. China Wok compares quite well - highly recommended!

China Wok has very good Chinese food of all types it is mostly a call in take-out order place but they do have several tables where folks can eat at the China Wok the service is good the prices are also good

Fast service and while my food was good, the others in my party complained about their orders not being correct and not the tastiest.

The servings tasted excellent and were well portioned. Would highly recommend.

Quality Quick Easy to get in and out

I have gotten take out from this China Wok a few times and it is good and very consistant. Other Chinese take out tends to be hit or miss in my experience. They give a great lunch portion for an incredible price.

Their Bourbon Chicken is very good... The chicken was freshly cooked not gelatinous or mushy at all... Had I have seen the couple of bad reviews I probably wouldn't have ordered from them but I'm glad that I did... Very good!!!

Heading home after a month on the road exploring America. Excellent food here at an amazing price especially for the quantity. Won Ton soup not over salted and a hint if ginger adding to the delicious flavor. Pepper Steak with pieces cut into bite size pieces easy to eat without a knife and great for chop sticks. The vegetables so crisp and fresh. I'm really loving this place.
