For the $ not bad, cleanliness up to price point standard however, there was no blanket on the bed, only a thin sheet and what can best be described as a curtain for a bedspread. No blanket anywhere else in the room. Had to take a boiling hot shower and cover up in bath towels to be warm.

Calling this dump a 3-star motel is quite a bit of a stretch. There's the meth-head that lives here, that blares his music late at night (after 10pm) and early in the morning (before 6am) outside of his room. There's the half-demolished patio in the courtyard, complete with loose boards on the ground with nails sticking up, just waiting to be stepped on. There's the hypodermic needles on the ground. The overflowing trash cans everywhere, with garbage piling up, spilling out, and surrounding the floors. There's the loose garbage all over the grounds. There's the non-working ac units, meaning super-hot rooms. During rain storms water leaks into the rooms, from clogged and/or missing gutters. The cable & internet rarely work. The Norfolk Country Inn is one trashy dump.

The owners daughter and son work at the property and are absolute garbage at their jobs and discriminatory

Checked in, got the flashlight on my phone out after seeing the reviews and found significant signs of bed bugs. Left and went somewhere else. I didn't realize this place was so ghetto when I booked it. I should have checked the reviews first.

I got my wife the room while she was traveling. She said it was disgusting and didn't feel safe. She was tired and locked herself in the room. She was harrased by other guests by multiple knocks on her door throughout the night. Don't stay here.

Looks like ghetto on the outside, but I was tired and needed a room. It was a nice clean room. The lady who checked me in was great. The checkout clerk in the morning needs to learn English but was pleasant. Obviously, an Indian guy owns it and is not putting money back into it. The place was packed. He is making money.

Sketchy! Got in the room and got nervous, so we read some reviews. Some people said they had bed bugs so we looked and yup there was some! Don’t recommend sketchy all around. Fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling and we left after 20 minutes and went to Fairfield across the road. They also wouldn’t refund us. Don’t go!

The place looked run down and I stayed 4 nights and not once did they clean the room. There was also trash from the people that were previously there. Would not stay here again.

Blood stains on the pillows. It’s a very dirty place. Very unwelcoming feeling. Not worth the money.

This place needs to be shut down. I will work on that. BED BUGS GALORE. Out of date fire alarm/carbon monoxide detector.

The place is outdated and very dirty. You'll find sketchy people walking in and out of rooms night and day with no concern for others, some of them being very loud and clearly on something. I'd also like to add that the bar will be blasting music through the whole building until after 2 a.m.; it's hard for the couple of us staying here that aren't partying to get any sleep with all of that going on.

My company put me in this hotel. I travel the country for work and have stayed in some shady places, but this place is hands down the dirtiest place I've ever stayed. If my company tries putting me here again, I'll pay out of my own pocket to stay somewhere else. Absolutely disgusting.

Lady booking room was nice,rooms bad as bathtub didn't drain ,stuff on walls,went for breakfast at 630am no food,asked front desk they didn't know why,not a place I would stay at again

Unsafe "construction" outside. Floors and walls very dirty and not sanitary. Toilet not clean. There was a dirty pair of shorts and a dirty sock on the bathroom floor. This hotel is not acceptable.

Sign says remodeled rooms damm sure wasn't the one I was in paint pealing in bathroom and no amount of scrubbing will get those fixtures clean beds very uncomfortable everything is in disrepair no hot water tub leaks bed frame collapsed when my room mate sat on it even coffee machine in lobby broken bathroom in lobby broken

Great Price for a quick weekend trip.

Bedbugs. Disgusted. Definitely NOT anywhere close to a 3 star hotel! Terribly outdated, old tile in bathroom, sink missing stopper, water sprayed everywhere, dirty at best-mold at worst in the shower, what appeared to be mold on the ceiling in the bathroom (above the shower). Old out dated sticky carpet, beds with springs and thin bedspreads. Coffee pot looked corroded and like it hadn’t been cleaned. We arrived, changed clothes quick and headed out until 10pm. I woke up the next morning itching, but was in a hurry. The itching got progressively worse. If you guessed bed bugs/bug bites, then you would be right! When we returned home, I had to purchase 2 different anti itch creams, 2 types of allergy meds, a prescription steroid, and a trip to urgent care. With little relief from the bed bug/bug bites. *See pictures. One of me the night we arrived at Norfolk Country Inn. The other pictures are a few hours after we left the hotel (only stayed one night). My skin has actually gotten worse. I emailed the manager and called three times! The manager/owner still has not gotten back to me. At this point it sounds like he’s avoiding me, because he conveniently “just left” or “will be right back”. At the very least I deserve a refund and reimbursement for the medications I had to purchase. How this place is able to operate as a 3 star hotel is beyond me! Like others have said, the pictures do not look like the actual property. And they clearly have an issue (which isn’t surprising with the actual state of the property). Whatever you do, if you value your health, don’t have time to spend at the doctors office, don’t want to be miserable itching, and don’t want bed bugs/bug bites, then DO NOT stay here. I gave 2 stars because the two ladies that I talked to were very nice.
