The bowls here are always a solid choice! You get a generous portion of food, especially the rice, which means I can stretch one meal into a few days. Super satisfying when you’re hungry. The fried chicken, though, was a mixed bag for me. The first time I ordered it, it was absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and downright amazing. But the second time? I got these tiny, thin pieces of chicken thigh that were tough and dry, almost like chewing on rocks. It’s a bit of a hit or miss, but when they get it right, it’s definitely worth it. Just hoping for more consistency next time!

Clark and Roberto are the kindest guys, you can see them cooking the food and it smells/looks delicious as soon as you walk in.

Hands down the best rice bowls I've ever had at an incredible price point Got the pork belly umami gravy for $12 absolutely delicious phenomenal gravy elevating the fall apart soft pork belly supported by sushi rice covered in nori strips And then the ribeye bistek for 17 much more simple flavor but steak and egg were both cooked to perfection and everything was seasoned perfectly

Different Asian food. Bowls or baos, with different types of meat in marinade, or fried, accompanied by rice, sauces and boiled egg. Really good, plus large quantities at a medium price. Everything was very clean and the waiter was charming. You can also eat while watching the Hollywood letters from your table.

When I picked up my take-out order today, a choking haze of greasy smoke hung in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that's also how my mushroom & egg bowl tasted: greasy. It was probably my last order from Oi.

Oi has been a local favorite for us for a while now! It’s so nice to have yummy Filipino food nearby— I’ve tried several of the bowls and have loved all of them. Today I went in and ordered food to go, and then stopped by the boba place next door while waiting for my food. I didn’t even mention where I was going, but a few minutes later someone from Oi peeked their head in to see if I was there and brought me my food. 🥺 Needless to stay, the staff goes above and beyond. I’d had a tough morning and that little thoughtful act really brightened my day.

The food is so delicious and the meat is really fresh, I will definitely come back to try it again🥹♥️ Topsilog is perfect for me, the beef is just something🤤🫶🏻

Oi has delicious rice bowls, mainly serving Filipino based cuisine and a bit of Japanese options. We got the Pork Adobo and the Tapsilog , both very saucy. The pork adobo bowl is amazing as their braised pork is fried crispy so you get a great mix of textures in the dish. The Tapsilog was also yummy but a bit dry. The space is clean and the workers are nice. What you get is great for the price.

The good news: today's order ended my crippling Oi Doordash addiction! The bad news: today I got a Kaarage bowl and after taking a few bites, I realized that about half the chicken was WAY undercooked and raw in places. I love Oi and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, so I just contacted Doordash; their staff reviewed photos of the meal and agreed that this wasn't safe to consume They refunded me. No big! The kicker: I called Oi just to flag it - like "hey, just an FYI, I just got uncooked chicken - maybe you can tell the kitchen to watch out so it doesn't happen to anyone else today." I expected a "oh, sorry, we'll keep an eye on the frying process, thanks for the info." Instead, they hung up on me and when I called back, the person yelled at me for calling again. OK, well, spell broken. (And a win for my wallet, I guess.) They're rude AND they don't care about food safety? Hard pass. Find a different lunch spot - this one just isn't worth it. I feel like a narc or a tattle tale, but I've also been hospitalized from food poisoning (insane - but it can happen to you, too!!!) so I would NOT recommend any joint that plays this fast and loose with food prep. DON'T RISK IT!

So good! We had loco burger bowl and a 5pc fried chicken karaage. The karaage was perfectly crispy and huge. Loco burger bowl is decent. Excited to come back and try more..

I've tried the Chicken Longanisa and the Dynamite Crawfish. The chicken isn't really what I expected but it tasted okay. The Crawfish is pretty delicious. This place is quite cheap for LA, definitely a nice place to grab lunch after visiting the Griffith Observatory.

Overall: 4.3/5 (Ubereats delivery) Oi Asian Fusion prepared the food quickly which was delivered earlier than expected. The food was well packaged and well portioned for the price. It was still warm after sitting on the table for 20 minutes as well. Pork Adobo Bowl ($12.99): The braised pork belly wasn't as umami or soft as I liked it to be but it was still good. The meat was pretty lean too so that's a plus. I love the sauce they used which was really good on the rice and pork belly. The soft boiled egg was still runny and tasted good with the hot sauce they provided. Dynamite Crawfish Bowl ($16.99): They give a generous portions of crawfish so it was 100% worth it. The dynamite sauce is akin to Sriracha mayo sauce so the bowl tasted like sushi bake/lion king roll except with crawfish instead of salmon. If you're a fan of seafood, you're going to love this bowl. This was definitely different and something I actually recommend trying over the pork adobo bowl. Apparently we got garlic rice but I didn't taste it under all the sauce but my husband did for both bowls.

This little hole on the wall restaurant does not get enough attention, but in my opinion it’s one of L.A’s must have places. I love their food, their service and every time I come in my boy and I get taken care of, so that makes it extra especial for us.

Not a vibe. Bad food. Stodgy. Poorly seasoned. Gave up eating 5 bites in. Very disappointing. Nothing like actual Karaage. Don’t let this be the food that decides your thoughts on “Asian fusion” cuisine.

Ube upside down pie These rice bowls were so delicious and I loveddd the side of spicy vinegar that came with them since they balanced out the sweet marinade. I love trying new meals and this one is a great comfort food esp when you want a solid meal that won’t disappoint. My favorite was the adobo bowl since it was so crispy on the outside & crispy on the inside. The Ube pie was such a stand out because of how rich and creamy the Ube filling was ✨👌🏻 do yourself a favor and get that as a sweet treat to finish the meal 😌

The chicken adobo is decent. Good value. The employees were rude though. In addition to being dismissive and generally impolite to me and others waiting for their order, the gentleman who gave me my order told me I was pronouncing my name wrong. I won't be coming back here. There are too many great places in the area with good service to dine at.

Awesome food! I was hesitant to try this place because of the dirty parking lot, noticeable homeless community, and overall location, but don’t be discouraged by these things! Inside is actually nice and clean. Food is freshly made and tasty. Don’t forget to try their spicy vinegar sauce!

Basically on the top of my list for favorite food places. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! Well balanced and a slap in the face full of flavor.

Got the mushroom bowl. It was extremely salty and the eggs I requested well done but they tried and could not get that sorted out. Rice a little dry, you have to order extra gravy.

The food is amazing but they rarely answer the phone and online orders aren't taken at 9:20 even though the place is open till 10.

Bowls are good, just don't count on them actually taking your order. Definitely called the correct location (even confirmed on the the phone it was Hollywood), when I showed up they had no order ready and no idea what I was talking about. I even called in again in front of them to prove I had the right number... they just shrugged.

Incredibly delicious bowls of the somewhat Filipino nature that pack a flavorful punch. This is the pork belly bowl with the mango flan. Both fantastic. Do yourself a favor and get ‘em both.

Pretty good rice bowls and buns - there's also an outdoor seating area. I really like the karage chicken and the pork belly bowls - but I tried the hamburger bowl and it was pretty awful with way too much dried seaweed and green onion, which totally overpowered the dish and the curry sauce on top of the burger. Stick with the chicken and pork belly!

I absolutely loved their mushrooms and egg bowl. The sauce and comb of various mushrooms were so yummy. The portion is pretty good as well. The burger was yummy but it's too small and plain, so I would strongly recommend to eat the bowls.

When I first got my bowl I thought this is not going to fill me up, not enough meat but I was wrong. The food was sooooo good and it filled me up. The pics don’t do the food justice. This place is a lowkey spot with bomb food. Needs a few more tables outside but everything else is good. Staff gets an A+ for the food and being friendly.

Restaurant just opened in San Diego at Barrio Logan area. This restaurant is a real fusion of Asian flavor. Price is very affordable and the ambiance is very hype. Service is very good and fast.

This place has some amazing African american / Filipino Fusion Food. Some people compare this place to the famous Chego restaurant but I think this place has been around before that famous chef opened the Chego restaurant. Recommend their Fried Chicken Karrage Bowls. Actually almost everything on their menu is amazing so you can't really go wrong. The Location I go to is in Canoga Park or the San Fernando Valley. Reading all these reviews, i'm noticing alot of people are writing about the Hollywood Location.

OI is a hole in the wall in a literal sense. You place your order at a tiny counter and then they call out when ready. I had their special of shredded beef with two scrambled eggs over rice and sauce. It was very good. The portion was generous and the flavor combination was excellent. This restaurant is a bit difficult to find. It's set back in a strip mall near Rite Aide. This is worth a return trip to try some other dishes.

Great little place in East Hollywood in a small strip mall, makes it very easy to miss. Food: 9/10, Pork Belly on Jicama tacos was to die for. Enjoyed the Karagge fried chicken as well. Came here for a quick lunch. Place was hip, servers were friendly. We ordered the adobo pork belly and pork belly with umamy gravy and chicken karaage. Everything was good, but the adobo we love. Pork belly was tender and crispy. Sauce was tasty.

I am reviewing the Oi Asian Fusion located at 7242 Canoga Ave. Canoga park, CA 818 776-0282. Located in a strip mall with very tight parking on Canoga Ave, I happened to be in the valley the other day and was hungry. I had been carry around a flyer from a local realtor, Christine Dronne who suggested eating here. So when I found myself on Canoga Ave. I stopped in. I have to say the location is not inviting and the other restaurants although open looked closed but the parking lot was full! I ventured in and looked at the limited but enticing menu. Everything I liked. You knew it was going to be good from the ingredients list! I ordered the Shredded Pork Bowl. It came in a large paper bowl, easy to take away if you didn't finish it. The braised pork was perfect over the rice with the scallions, seaweed and pickled relish. The seaweed was a strong smell which put me off abit but the flavors all gelled together nicely. Enjoying every bite. The front counter guy was great at explaining items, taking your order and when he had a free moment he was carefully cleaning the trays! That impressed me for cleanliness! There are several tables to sit at, all were full with local young people. Music was great! Different. Handicap accessible. Bathroom clean. Overall it was a really great surprise! Visited the new location at Hollywood And North Vermont after a morning trip and hike at Griffen Observatory. So glad it was close by as we were ravenous. Pork belly Jicama Taco, Karaage and Shredded Pork Bowls were so flavourful, tasty, fresh. Chef very friendly, talented and helpful.

This place is a hole in the wall in the most traditional sense of the word. Let's put it this way, after I eat a burger at a place and then try to tell everyone about it, then that qualifies as one of the best in my book. I have had some of the " best" burgers out there. Umami, Counter, Habit, Fathers office, Shake shack, etc. this one takes the cake! I understand that these are fighting words when it comes to burgers in a burger crazed city like Los Angeles. But, I suggest you try this place and then tell me I'm wrong. The only caveat to this place is that there is only one kind of burger on the menu, the Oi burger, but to me that is actually a plus, do one thing great and sell that one thing. BTW this place also has an amazing Jicama taco, don't miss this! The only negative is seating. Then again, it makes you focus on the food. The other plated dishes are good but nothing to write home about. It's really all about the burger and the jicama taco here.

Since we arrived in LA we meant to try again this restaurant that blew us away for its awesome taste. We had lunch today here and I would suggest look at the flyer and not the menu board because the board is not complete. We had to say the food still taste awesome and the value for money is still great. If we have time will return here before we leave LA.

I've had their adobo bowl, pork belly umami with gravy, loco burger bowl, and dynamite fries several times. I can't quite decide which is my fave between the umami and adobo bowls. They are both delicious and I don't mind the fat of the pork belly at all. I love that the adobo bowl has the soft boiled egg and not an overpowering flavor of adobo. I love the gravy of the umami bowl I just wish it came with the soft boiled egg. Last time I ordered to go I fried some eggs to put on top of my bowl :-p. I like their loco burger but not as much as the other two. The dynamite sweet potato fries is DYNAMITE! Love the chunks of garlic and slivers of cilantro with the dressing. I do wish that the bowl have some sort of veggies so I don't feel too guilty when I devour it.

They give good recommendation. Food is ready within a few minutes. The Food: Adobo Bowl - braised pork belly, adobo sauce, soft boiled egg, scallions ($7 ONLY!!!) the pork belly is so tender inside and crispy outside, the adobo sauce is absolutely to die for!! Soft boiled egg the same way they cook at many ramen restaurants. Fresh cooked rice top with tender pork belly drizzle with lots of adobo sauce. TWO THUMBS UP!! Braised Short Rib - over kimchi mashed potato with wasabi cream and chives ($13), A little bit of too heavy for me, the braised short rib has lots of sweet sauce over it and the kimchi mashed potato has very strong taste too. The whole dish is a little bit too salty for me. But next time I will try the short rib over rice. Pork Bun - braised pork belly, hoisin, sriracha, cucumber, scallion (Genius!! I call this Asian taco or Asian burger~ The bun is so soft. Every bite it is combination of the soft bun with tender/crunchy pork belly. Not over saucing/dressing. $3 each... GOOD DEAL!!! Dynamite Sweet Fries - sweet potato fries with the housemade sauce (they took sweet potato fries to totally next level!! The housemade sauce tastes like spicy mayo. Very appetizing!) The Parking: Private lot (FREE), lunch time might be crowded because there are Starbucks, other restaurants and a small market in the same plaza.

We were introduced to this place by a friend and off we went for a late dinner. It is along Canoga Avenue. Coming in an hour before closing so the strip mall was pretty dark and the place is ordinary, not expecting for any wow...
