I did not expect such a diverse menu or open atmosphere. The outdoor seating was excellent. Great cabeza tacos and churros; the cultural diversity of this Korean food really impressed me.

First time here, Got the stone bowl, it was delicious. My only complaint is it could have had more meat in it. Owner came out to the tables to make sure everyone there was ok with meal. Great place, will return again!

Has become a usual weekend dinner spot , amazing food cooked by amazing people. I have tried almost every cut of meat and they don’t disappoint. The kalbi ribs is my favorite but if you like spicy get the spicy pork. Another fave is the bulgogi and pork belly. They give a good amount of food for the price. Always fresh! Check them out. And support your local small business. See you guys next week!

A wonderful warming stone bowl of bibimbap was just what I needed today on a chilly, rainy afternoon. I love the way the contents are carefully arranged and topped with the bright fried egg. Although it came with a side of kimchi, I had to order some extra homemade cucumber kimchi. I also enjoyed another side of the crispy, crescent shaped dumplings. The owner was cheerful as she took my order, and the food was prepared promptly. Not only was the food tasty, but it also was value for money.

Tried it once and it became my favorite go to meal on the weekend. Small Family spot but so much better than Korean bbq restaurants in the area! Pork belly is my favorite but I’ve also tried the spicy pork & kalbi plates and they’re amazing as well. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants delicious kbqq and doesn’t want to wait the long lines at a restaurant.

We found this cafe online and realizing it was only 6 miles from home, with the GOOGLE reviews hovering around 4.8/5 we decided to give it a go. Not being Korean, but craving our first authentic Korean meal, which we enjoy seeing on Kdramas on Netflix; we ordered the famous braised short ribs. Yet, the braised short ribs were a bit chewy for our taste and over seasoned with too much salt but the sides were flavorful. According to the picture on the menu we didn't know the braised short ribs ($20), came with 1 bowl of white rice and sides. We ordered pork spring rolls that had NO pork inside. The seafood pancake appetizer seemed light on the seafood. So first timers should ask more questions when ordering from the menu. It was good for us to practice using chopsticks for a change. All the dishes were neatly presented and the background music was quite pleasant. Go in with an open mind and receptive taste buds. Worth a visit.

Started with two delicious appetizers. The seaweed role is creative and tasty. The mini pancakes come in 3 flavors, and we enjoyed the seafood version. The bibimbap was classic and beautiful to view. Tried the tofu stew with seafood and was impressed. All servings were large and came with homemade kimchi. These days food is served in carryout containers, meaning it was easy to take home some of the stew home. Also bought extra kimchi to take home.

Let me start by saying that the TripAdvisor site for Seoul Korean Restaurant incorrectly says they are closed today, Monday. Sunday is the only day they close. I decided to have a late lunch to avoid any crowd. There was only one other person dining in. Several came to pick up carryout. The menu is painted in large font on the wall, making it quick and easy to make a choice. Social distancing was very well organized including a big X on every other table. After ordering at the counter, the staff promptly brought my meal to the table. I had a spicy stir fried squid and vegetables on clear noodles. It came with sides of mixed kimchee and white rice. I love their cucumber kimchee and got a large container to take home. My only concern was that there appeared to be only one wall air conditioning unit for the whole dining area, so ironically with temperatures in the 80s today, it was cooler outside. Otherwise the staff are always friendly and parking plentiful.

Finally got here as we’ve been meaning to try them based on the reviews. Located in a Strip mall, It was quiet around 5 Friday afternoon. One party at a table & a to go order waiting for pickup. Ordered a few items to try (to go). Bibimbap (Steak) which was very good. Spicy Beef Ramen was excellent & would recommend eating this at the restaurant (noodles get overcooked for take out), Japchae with thin noodles was also excellent & Mandoo (Fried Dumplings) instead of spring rolls based on recommendation were perfect as an appetizer. The fried rice with Shrimp is also highly recommended! We’ve also tried the Veggie Korean Pancake and although a little greasy it was tasty and filled with vegetables. Also ordered the stir fried Squid which was just right spicy mixed with thin noodles and veggies. They do close early evening (7 or 8) during the week and at 6 on Saturday. (Closed Sunday) Friendly service and the owners were very helpful and explained the different entrees. Only regret is not getting here sooner!

With Korea in the news, I looked back through photos of my visit to Seoul from a few years ago and started thinking of the food. A search on TripAdvisor helped me find a Korean restaurant nearby. Friendly, welcoming staff were ready to explain the dishes. Bibimbap was a favorite from my visit to Seoul the city, so thought it should be my choice at Seoul the restaurant. I chose the stone bowl which not only kept the meal hot throughout, but also made crispy rice at the bottom. I admired the artful arrangement of ingredients before getting down to the tasty task at hand. Home made hot sauce was a nice accompaniment, as were three types of kimchee on the side. I liked the cucumber kimchee so much, I ordered a large container of it to take home. Hot tea is available from an urb and cold drinks in a cooler. By the way, I started with an order of lightly fried beef dumplings which were golden and crisp and delicious. The pricing was very reasonable and the servings, large. Other menu items beckon a return visit soon.

This place was recommended by a Korean friend who said the food is real Korean and the best in the area. I stopped in for carry-out. The owner Suzy greated me and explained the menu and food to me. This was my first time with this kind of food and she helped out by letting me sample kimchee. It was delicious. She made some recommendations for me. Then went in the back and cooked everything. She invited me to have the complimentary tea while waiting. Everything turned out delicious! I will definitely be back.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for some time based on a Google search I did that said it was the best place near me for Korean food. So a couple of Saturdays ago (closed on Sunday) we typed the address into our phone and were off. Arriving over in the area where the old Starlight skating rink used to be, it’s in the back about a hundred yards of the main road. It is a sit-down restaurant but has more of the feel of a carry-out place. Not fancy by any stretch. You place your order at the cash register after reviewing the menu on the wall. I wanted to get the sushi but was told it was not available. My second choice was a pork dish, Bul Goh Gi (#5) and my wife got the beef. We took our seats and waited for the food. There was one other couple eating at a nearby table and while we were waiting several people came in for carry-out orders. Maybe ten or 15 minutes and our food was brought to the table. Mine was okay, not great but certainly acceptable. My wife said hers was very good and I tried some of hers. She was right, the beef was much better than the pork. Since it wasn’t very busy the cook came out and talked with us for a few minutes and was very friendly. The entire meal and a drink from the cooler totaled $21.17 A super reasonable cost. I would go back again and if the sushi isn’t available, get the beef.

Recommended by business associate. Brought some out of town folks for an early quick lunch. Not so quick but the food was really great and really inexpensive. Made the mistake of ordering the ‘large platter’;)!! Lots of food, Kim-Che was spicy but not to spicy, ordered the meal spicy and it was perfect;)!!

Within the town limits of a tiny dot on the map called "Edgewood", you'll find a small unassuming little place called "Seoul Korean Restaurant". It's behind the Precision Tune mechanic's shop which is behind the local Jiffy lube. Look hard for it while driving down Pulaski hwy, don't blink! Or you'll probably miss it! BELIEVE ME! you DONT WANT TO MISS IT! Is this place really a "diamond in the rough"? Not really, but it IS a diamond. I hate to refer to my home town as "the rough" Edgewood certainly has it's moments, and by most locals of surrounding areas it gets a mostly unnecessary bad rep. We have the same issues that most of the little urban towns outlining major citys on the east coast have. Just like anywhere else if your polite, you mind your manners, and treat people like human beings, you'll be fine! Enough defense, Seoul Korean Restaurant is a place you'll WANT TO TRY! and soon! I'm embarrassed to admit that I've driven by it almost everyday of my entire adult life, and hadn't noticed that for the past two years this place has been open. Last night my brother insisted that we go there for lunch today, and much like myself he's a foodie, and when he insists I try out a new place, I do it! When you walk through the front door you might be a little thrown off, you approach the counter, order your food, pay, grab your bottled beverage and seat yourself. None of that is out of the ordinary, its much like any sub shop here in that way. Once you take your seat, the extremely hospitable woman personally makes her way to the kitchen and that's where the magic begins. I believe each dish is painstakingly made fresh per order. Be careful when she asks you how spicy you like your food, when Korean folks say hot they mean HOT! I'm a mild guy myself, so I made it known I can't handle the heat. You'll need no education on Korean food to make an order, the menu is in English and completely explains every item on it in detail. If your looking for General Tso's chicken and an egg roll, find a Chinese carry out, only authentic Korean food served here. You'll start with appetizers, and a complimentary mini platter of fermented Korean favorites like kimshi. Everything is served directly to your table. The furniture is high , the chairs are really comfortable, and the cozy feel of the place will make you think your right at home. The lady who took your order is also your server, bare with her she's also the cook, busser, and manager, I believe she's even the owner. My brother ordered a bowl of rice with a medly of vegetables and a lightly steamed egg, forgive me, at the moment I can't remember what they call it. His meal came in a stone bowl, heated to cook the vegetables and make a memorable presentation. He raves over the meal, the freshness is unparalleled. I ordered beef bulgolgi, it comes with rice. I've had it before but nothing else compares to this, it's been a long time since I was so excited about food. The food is unbelievable and the portion size makes it very well worth the price. We were truly treated like kings, the service was reminiscent of a bygone era when the customer was appreciated and the first priority. I wish I had tried this place sooner, I'm in great fear of the place not making it because of their location. Many food establishments have been born, and died in the same place, it would be a real shame to see this restaurant become the next failure. I'll be back, if you find yourself in Edgewood, and are feeling adventuresome stop by and give this place a shot, you'll not be disappointed.

We were expecting a nice restaurant atmosphere. Although, nicer chairs, it appears to be an old pizza to go restaurant. The menu is on the wall. Very bright lights. You order at the counter. The Korean lady was very friendly. She was the cashier; cook, waitress and bus person. The food was good. Only 3 side dishes and small portions, but the price was less than I have paid at other restaurants. It is not a place I would travel to; however, if I lived in the area, I would eat there again. Kitchen noise was very loud and distracting. Huge serving window didn't help. It was clean. We wanted more.
