Been in Jackson for 4 days now, and this was the best in quality and in value so far. The view is fantastic! Service from Doug was excellent. Don’t be dissuaded that it’s not downtown.

View was amazing, food was great, and Doug was AWESOME… we were “stoked” for sure!

We ate a delicious lunch outside of the National Wildlife Art Museum. The food was delicious and the wait staff were excellent. We enjoyed the walk around the museum looking at wonderful sculptures.

Love this place!! And Doug was awesome. Made us a fresh pot of coffee when we needed it the most.

Hands down best grill cheese on earth. Tomato soup a close second. Doug our server nailed a “not too hot Hot Chocolate for our 8 year old. Views spectacular.

I had the pleasure of working with Jillian & Ali at Palate for a recent wedding at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. The experience was fantastic! As a vendor, I was impressed by their professionalism, organization, and adaptability. The food was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Palate’s team was punctual, attentive, and seamlessly integrated with the event, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for top-notch catering that will elevate any event, Palate is the way to go. Highly recommend!

Love the atmosphere, and our server, Virginia, was delightful. The panna cotta was delicious, as was the coffee. The Casper Power Bowl was good, but not as good as it could be. The presentation was beautiful, but the rice was dry. I was very happy to have a vegan option for lunch, and the rest of the ingredients were very good. It was missing something. I think one more added offering with it would balance it out, as it had a lot of red cabbage. Maybe seasoned, air-fried mushrooms or a corn-type salsa. My husband's hamburger was ok, but not dazzling.

Food was good but the sandwich was a bit small. Handmade chips very tasty.

Had a great meal at Palate! Early spring proved perfect for enjoying the patio. Would highly recommend checking both palate and the museum out!

Landed at Jackson airport in the morning, and stopped by here for lunch. Ordered the vegetables soup and the bison gyro. The soup was way too salty for my taste and have to return it. The gyro tastes good with a good balance of salt and acid from the pickle onions. The service was excellent. Both the server and the manager were there to ensure we enjoyed our meal. By the way, the restaurant has a wonderful view of the National Elk Reserve.

The beef gyros is an interesting twist on the Greek original. It has quite a bit of garlic and good meat. It's meat on a tortilla with chips. Not bad but not gyros. The restaurant has a great view and is well laid out. It has the usual Jackson pricing;ie High

This was surprisingly one of the best restaurants we ate at in Jackson! The food was fantastic and not very expensive. For a museum restaurant it was an unexpected pleasure!

A nice restaurant cafe with an upscale but also easy going vibe. Service is attentive. Food is fresh and tasty with a focus on healthy and local. You don't need a museum ticket to dine here. It's one of the hidden gems in the Teton National Park for best eating spots!

Inside the museum, you find this little treasure by the gift shop. We stopped in at lunchtime in the middle of January. I got the grilled cheese with French onions, and my husband got the elk meat wrap. For the appetizer, we got the pot stickers, which were cooked to perfection. All the food was wonderful, the staff very friendly, with a great location north of Jackson across from the elk refuge. Will go back when we visit the area again.

Lovely atmosphere inside the National Museum of Wildlife. Food was great. Service was attentive & fast. Their sangria was a work in progress, so not my favorite or best I’ve ever had. However, I loved that they wanted feedback through a comment piece of paper. I ordered the game stew & potstickers. Both were equally flavorful in their own way, if I were to choose one over the other it would be the stew. The museum is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Only open from 11 to 2. Make reservations. Banh Mi with jalapenos and Elk sausage was yummy and spicy. The beet salad with goat is very tasty. Good selection of wine and beer.

Incredible! Lived here two years and Palate has been the best meal I’ve had here. We started with Game Stew and followed with local Trout & Chips with a side of Jo-jo’s potatoes. Fresh and gourmet, perfect meal. The patio is relaxing and breezy overlooking the beauty of the elk refuge. The staff was so attentive and kind. Quick service and no wait at the end of August for a late lunch.

Wonderful spot inside the museum serving more upscale food!

We ate outside, lovely porch area overlooking the Elk Refuge. Sunny day, windy but still nice outside in August. This place is popular, get there early, we did. Food was good, I got game stew and grill cheese. Definitely tasty. My Husband got Chicken salad sandwich with a beet salad. Not a lot of beets, mostly lettuce. He said chicken Salad could use more chicken, less decorations. Waiters were great. Really nice laid back comfortable place.

Make a reservation! This was a great option after landing at the airport with yummy food and access to the beautiful sculpture garden outdoors. Live music at times as well. Great way to kickoff a trip to Jackson Hole.

Great food, wonderful service and an amazing view. Our friends who live here told us to visit the museum and that the food was great. I didn't realize that the restaurant in the museum, Palate was operated by the Gather Restaurant Group. We had eaten a very nice meal a few days earlier at Gather in Jackson, WY so it's no surprise that Palate also had great food and service.

Very charming lunch spot inside the National Wildlife Museum. Food is excellent, and with impressive service and atmosphere it is a must visit in the Jackson / Teton area.

Fantastic food and views. Highly recommend the stew and banh mi sandwich. Also, it's location between the airport and Jackson is very convenient if you are catching a flight.

Lovely restaurant in National Museum of Wildlife Art. Beautiful view, no doubt at all. Really great natural light. Our meals are spot on. Shannon was really hands on manager with taking care of every each table professionally and friendly making sure everybody having a great time. I’ll be back!

The most beautiful and delicious place in town, no question! The food is some of the best we've ever had - definitely recommend the grilled cheese and the lemon posset. There are million dollar views of the elk refuge and mountains, and inside the decoration is so chic and cozy. Shannon is the most incredible, kind, accommodating, and engaging person, and she really makes the entire experience feel so personalized and special. So appreciative of her and such an exceptional place!

The food was insane how great it was. Met Chef Remley and he was the incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable. You could tell he cares about his staff and quality of work.

We were camping in Teton NP at Gros Ventre and decided to check out the Wildlife Museum and grab lunch. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. Great view, friendly staff and excellent food.

If you are in or around the Jackson area you must stop in! You will be greeting amazingly friendly staff in an beautiful setting inside and out surrounded by breath taking sights of nature and artwork! The food is delicious and freshly made. Portions are big enough to fill you up without being overwhelming large.

I just thought of this place and thought I would make a review on it. We went here last year and it was DELICIOUS! We were on vacation and thought we would stop. They're homemade chips are very good! We got soups and chillis and boy were they good. Also get a dessert here because it's top notch. I don't know if you still work here or not but if you do HUGE shout out to Kim she was very nice and helpful. Request Kim to serve you! Come here and get some delicious food and a fine dining experience!
