We booked The Palm last minute when our dinner plans changed. We were too hungry to try the full menu and ended up sticking to appetizers, but everything looked amazing. I had the lobster bisque, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I really wish I was hungry enough to try more. What truly made the experience stand out was our server, Megan. She was an absolute angel—so sweet, attentive, and helpful. Her warmth and genuine care made our evening feel extra special. She really elevated the whole dining experience. She made sure we had our dessert to go since we couldn’t finish it. Megan we loved having you, thank you for making our dining experience great.

I'll start by saying the food was excellent. I had the lamb chops and my wife had the filet and they were both great. Our disappointment started shortly after we were served our food. Before we started eating, we were handed a brochure for some kind of dining club that we were asked to join. Our waiter told us this was free and we should sign up. We spent over $300 on a dinner for two, for a fine dining experience I do not want to see a brochure, especially before I've even had my dinner. We accepted the waiters offer for the "free membership" after we were done eating. At that point he explained it was "free but not free" (this is how our waiter explained it) and told us it was some kind of $25 a month membership, we declined after being asked over and over from the waiter to pay this fee. When I am paying for a fine dining i experience I do not expect to be pressed for more money. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional I will not return to this restaurant. Again the food was delicious but I don't want to be given a sales pitch while I'm dining out. I did tip 20% because I enjoyed the food.

Shrimp cocktail was fantastic. Visited for magical Dining. Of course upgrades lol. Wait staff and bartenders were most excellent. Thomas was our waiter. Attentive and professional

Started out with having to park in valet parking because self parking was closed. We had to wait 10 minutes to get our car to leave. Cars were everywhere. Also lost parts of our keychain. Their response was we don't have it. The bread basket we received was stale or in the warmer too long. The drinks are overpriced for the low quality. We tried four different ones. The salads are small and unappealing. We were celebrating a special occasion and sat in a large booth. The wait staff cannot reach the whole table. We were asked to push plates glasses silverware to the end of the table for pickup or refills. One person was served their meal from behind the booth and above her head with a hot plate. Two out of three meat dishes were cooked improperly. The gnocchi was tasteless with an awful sauce with one little piece of lobster. The scallops were mediocre. The side dish of homemade chips and onion strings was cold and greasy. We tried the two desserts made in house. The tiramisu was okay. The carrot cake was dry crumbly and tasted like spice cake. There was very little frosting and it didn't have any flavor. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Fantastic scallops. Creamy lobster bisque - (could live on this.) Perfectly cooked steak. The biggest lobster claw I've ever seen. And the carrot cake! Soooo delicious. Huge thanks to Megan and Lindsey for such amazing service last night. They were both incredibly charming and great at trivia. 10/10 would lobster again.

Uncleaned, not vacuumed, drawers are broken, bathtub is locked and finally A LOT OF cockroaches. If you want to spend a night like a nightmare, buy this hotel :)

I’ll be completely honest with you and say that I’m a local and the food is consistent and decent at best. There’s something to be said for walking into a place and knowing exactly what you’re going to get. That being said, I’m a regular purely for the bartenders. If you come here and don’t sit at the bar, you’re doing it wrong. Jessie, Chris and Angela are all amazing with bubbly personalities and will ensure you have an amazing experience. I come specifically to see them, and for the wine (Greenwing by Duckhorn which I cannot get wholesale). Whether you are just visiting or a local, it is 100% worth stopping by.

Classic place for a good steak. Fun hotel. Updated August 2024: Sorry but going to have to drop my review from 5 to 2 Stars. -we have always ordered the Tomahawk steak and recently they took it off the menu! Why? That was their best steak... -We ordered instead two ribeye steaks and they were not good at all with lots of ligaments, fat and not cook as we asked which is Pittsburg medium. It seemed more like an Outback steak and was still VERY expensive. -our main waiter was super nice but the second waiter had no personality. Get that guy some training. -the dessert donuts are awesome which was the best part of the meal, lol.

The experience I had here was amazing! The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. The prices appear a little steep, but I would 10 out of 10 do it all over again. My filet was cooked to perfection, and the side dishes....I'm still drooling over just thinking about them. I would make a reservation as it can fill up quickly but get dressed up and save up because the Palm is going to rock your world.

The atmosphere for this place was astonishing. The different faces on the wall was something I have never seen before. The waiter was super friendly, I am sorry I forgot your name! (The guy that loves to gold-mine) very awesome fella. He definitely made my girlfriend and her family happy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Palm, and I have to give a shout-out to our waiters, Mikey, also known as "The Flash," and Desiray, also known as "Black Widow." During our meal, one of our friends accidentally broke a glass and tried to discreetly hide it. Mikey noticed immediately and, with a calm and witty demeanor, simply said, "You might want to let go of that." He then expertly scooped up the broken glass and left instantly, preventing any further embarrassment or inconvenience. His swift and professional handling of the situation truly showcased his experience and composure under pressure. Adding to the fun of the evening, Desiray, aka "Black Widow," helped us pull off a prank on our friend. Her enthusiasm and creativity were contagious, and she played along perfectly, making the prank hilarious and memorable. Her friendly and engaging personality added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. Both Mikey's efficiency and sense of humor and Desiray's playful assistance made our evening truly special. If you're dining at The Palm, be sure to ask for Mikey "The Flash" and Desiray "Black Widow" – their exceptional service and fun-loving attitudes will undoubtedly enhance your visit.

My first time eating here and I was highly disappointed. An error made by the waitress that I had to pay for. I pointed to her the bottle of wine we wanted which was $67 they brought me a bottle we drank it got the bill it says the bottle was $199 I asked she said you asked for this brand I said yes but I pointed to the one I wanted she brought me the reserve brand which was triple the price how was I to know there was more bottles of the same brand that’s her job not mine. The manager came out saying it was my fault I should have known what I ordered very disrespectful. Waitress took my card I paid and never came back to say sorry or anything I will never return here again to eat very sad how they treated us. Also food was subpar steak was cold and dry I was hoping for more. Bar service and hostess stand were great manager not so much

Edit to add that The Palm reached out shortly after our trip. They were very kind and apologetic for our first experience. We took them up on their offer for a second visit to make things right. Megan was our server and they were fantastic! Much better experience and we are thankful they took the time to reach out. My husband and I visited for the first time to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Our food was excellent but the service was subpar for the amount of money this meal was. It took almost 30 minutes for waters to be brought to the table. Once our meals arrived, an hour after being seated, it was the last we saw of our waiter. 45 minutes later he arrived back to check on us and we asked for the check. No refills for our drinks the entire time. He was a very, very, sweet man but maybe he had too many tables. We spotted him a few times across the restaurant serving those tables and a few on our side but he was never close enough to catch his attention. It’s also never an expectation to receive a small desert when celebrating a special life event when we dine out, but that small detail always makes the experience top notch and there was only a verbal congratulations for us. Overall unimpressed with our service but it seemed like others around us had a better experience.

Jay was the best part of my night. The service he provided, especially for a birthday celebration, was more than anyone could have asked for. Without a doubt, completely thankful that he was my server for the special occasion

We came here for a quick bite at the bar! We ordered the Sea bass with the risotto that had a crisp bottom….it was so delicious! Amy was our bartender. She was so friendly and attentive! Rami the manager came by and said hello. What a delight he was. He told us next time we return to get the chicken parmesan. I’ve only had their steaks here and now the sea bass. Dishes are always consistently prepared well! Definitely returning for more.

We had the 4 Ib lobster for two and I couldn't help myself to have the lamb chops. Darryl was the BEST. He was the server's assistant and he de-shelled the lobster at our table. Darryl made our dining experience even better with his great sense of humor after a day at the parks.

We stopped in for an early dinner after a day at the Parks. We splurged by having the 4 Ib lobster for two. A really great server assistant named Darryl de-shelled the lobster at our table and we had a great time with him during our meal. He made the experience worth the price. Congratulations to Darryl and his wife on recent twins.

I have been a loyal patron of The Palm in Orlando for over 15 years, but my recent experiences have been deeply disappointing. Since Landry's took over, this once-beloved establishment has lost its heart and soul. Many of the long-time employees and managers, who provided exceptional service and made each visit special, have left. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience has noticeably declined. It’s heartbreaking to see such a cherished restaurant fall from grace. I can no longer recommend The Palm to friends and family, and it’s sad to say that I won’t be returning.

This was our first time dining here. We will definitely be back! Our server, John, was attentive and personable. Leo, the manager, took the time to meet with guests, personally. Of course, the food and dessert was delicious as well.

Celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and we could not be more thrilled that we chose this restaurant! I was a little skeptical as the recent reviews are Questionable, but we had a great experience! Our server, Paul, was attentive, knowledgeable, and never allowed us to want for anything. Let us know at the beginning of the meal that he was going to give us a complementary dessert For our anniversary. He was spot on with his suggestions! Our steak was cooked perfectly, the crabcake was the best we've ever had, the wedge salad was cold and crisp and fresh! Highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion for anytime you want great meal with great service!

My business partner and I had dinner here a few nights ago, and we had Jessica as our server. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. She was very attentive, always made sure we were enjoying ourselves, and even recommended an amazing desert.

If you are looking for a fantastic meal with exceptional service than do yourself a favor and come here. You cannot go wrong with the filet! Our sommelier (Michael S.) was attentive, knowledgeable and outright tremendous. We cannot wait to go back.

Recently visited the palm and I have to say I really enjoyed my experience. Between the food and the service I left with not just a full belly but a memory. Amanda and Jay took amazing care of us. Never needed to ask for a refill on drinks or have to search for them. Truly was a great time! The chicken parm is a must! And don’t forget the tiramisu!

For my first time at the Palm, I can say my experience was tremendous. The sweetest and nicest server Amanda was serving us and the evening was spectacular. My experience at the Palm was great! Our server, Chris, was phenomenal and very attentive. I would recommend getting the surf n turf with a side of hash browns. It was so good. Definitely get the chocolate cake, it’s enough to share.

Not up to caliber of the Palm in other locations. Not worth the price. Fish dishes were not good. Maybe stick to the steak.

Don’t advertise anything on your menu that you’re not ready and willing to serve. Resort Communications with the Universal app and the restaurant has zero connection with one another so make sure you call ahead to ensure anything you’re looking to order is available or you’ll be highly disappointed.

Love the ambiance and the food was outstanding. One service hiccup, main course was brought out before we finished our starter. Not the pace you expect at a high end restaurant. Apologies all around but still spoiled our special night out.

I'm going to start by saying, thanks for having my wife, son and I. We were staying at the Hard Rock visiting and showing my son a awesome time at the Parks over the weekend. We were turned down at most restaurants in City Walk after leaving Universal due to not having reservations. I already had my eye on "The Palm" before even arriving in Orlando, and wanted to try it while we were in town, but didn't think we were going to be able to make it happen due to time and showing my son a good time. After being turned down as a walk in at many other nice places, I decided to try and reserve a table here at the Palm. Was able to do so, and we got back on our water taxi and came straight over to have dinner, very hungry and excited. We came straight from the park so yes we had on our comfortable clothes, tee shirts and shorts. I understand that this is a Nice restaurant but the welcoming we got when we arrived and really the entire time we had dinner was very disappointing. Our waitress, I forgot her name was very polite after I broke the ice and advised her that we're human and just here to eat. I totally understand the quality of what is supposed to be fine dining, and very familiar with good customer service because I manage a HUGE customer Base myself. I think it's very sad to feel like you and your family are being looked down on because we have on tennis shoes and a tee shirt after coming back from an amusement park and eating in a restaurant that's attached to our hotel. This is something this restaurant and the world can do way better on is treating people with respect and kindness no matter the appearance because I can assure you wealth comes in all shapes and sizes and fancy clothing should never dictate how someone is treated. I follow a man named Jesus Christ and that's who a gauge how I see people and this world needs to practice this too. My family and I will certainly be back to the Hard Rock Resort and Universal but we will certainly look past "The Palm" no doubt. Again, thanks for having us and God Bless you all!

The service was incredibly slow. Our server was very nice, but it was long waits to get drinks, get food, and get the check. The food was the worst of any dining experience at the palm. The server did take off one of the sides because it was inedible. Some of the negativity was just accidental, a food runner knocked my drink and spilled Diet Coke over my brand new white shoes. He obviously felt horrible- I just reassured him it was an accident. The last piece that really got me was that I had indicated on the reservation that it was my wife’s birthday- and nothing was mentioned at all. We love the palm, and will most likely dine at other locations in the future, but this was our worst palm experience to date

The food was very good. The wine was EXTREMELY overpriced. Several Napa choices that were more than 3 times normal retail. The noise level in the main dining area took away from the enjoyment of the food. We were unable to talk (3 people) without raising our voices. Not sure it’s a place we would visit again, but the food was delicious.

This was truly one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The waiting staff was so attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Try the sea bass Oscar or the Wagyu steak.

Ive visited several Palm locations. This Palm is very busy and noise level is loud on the weekends. I visited twice in one week- food was definitely better midweek- weekend service and food was less than exceptional but I will continue to visit my local Palm.

Delicious is an understatement! We started with the clam platter for an app, then both adults had steaks (cooked to perfection and the chimichurri sauce is to DIE FOR). Our daughter had the king crab legs which we thought she was going to share but NOPE! Desserts are amazing and big enough to share! All of the staff are wonderful - so friendly but Lindsey in particular was outstanding!

Our server Gabe was amazing. Wonderful personality and impressive at his profession. The food was delicious and plentiful. We all had a wonderful time and are looking forward to the next. Thank you.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Last night, it was extremely noisy and the food was overcooked…from the fried calamari to the filet and the salmon. We were very disappointed because we had brought a friend from out of town to have dinner with us.

I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The food was great and the server I think did her best. We have been to the palms in Boston for our anniversary and loved it! The food and experience were both past our expectations both years. This year we were in Orlando and thought it’s perfect. Unfortunately they also had convention guests seated at the same time or just after us. It was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk. The host at the front door didn’t want to give us a booth with our reservation but the other host said “you have no choice just seat them”. Wasn’t very welcoming. I ordered the lobster and twenty minutes after I ordered I was told they had run out. The waitress although she meant well said happy anniversary maybe 10 times. Like ok I got it. You remember it’s our anniversary. We paid 300 dollars for a meal. The experience was subpar.

We all had the best experience ever! Every single item was delicious and the service was incredible!

The wait for our entrées was totally unacceptable. We did not order appetizers and it took 45 minutes for our steaks to arrive. The ribeye was served room temperature with no sear on it. We had waited so long, we decided to eat it as is. we had ordered a side order slightly modified which purportedly was dropped on the way to the table. It was prepared a new, but not modified. Again, things were so slow, we decided to eat it, and then leave.  This was the second chance we had given this restaurant after going there last year. But it is the last chance we have given it. I could not recommend this to anyone.  Last year it had taken 30 minutes just for a waiter to come and take our order.

The service was poor, it felt discriminatory, compared to that of the surrounding tables. The cuts of meat were salty and the cooking terms were incorrect.

The food took forever to come to the table and when it did arrive it was lukewarm. I have been to the Palm in Las Vegas and Washington DC multiple times. I will not come back to this one. If I’m spending $700, I want a fabulous meal.

5 stars all the way. We have eaten here in the past and The Palm Orlando never fails to disappoint. This time we had the Tomahawk which was cooked a perfect medium rare and a side of shrimp risotto. Our martinis were mixed perfectly and came out ice cold with blue cheese olives. Our server, Chrissy is the best in the business. We’ve had her several times and she never fails to make our evening perfect. Always on top of things and ensures our drinks are never empty and paces the food delivery to our table appropriately. And we can’t say enough good things about her. The manager stopped by our table to say Hi and to ensure our dinner was to our satisfaction, which is always a nice gesture. This ain’t the Outback. So don’t expect the same food or the same prices. It’s expensive but they also have entrees on the menu to satisfy any budget. I’ve read the negative reviews and we have never experienced anything close to what others have said. I also read Ramrod’s (really? That’s your name on TripAdvisor?) review and he seems like an Applebees kind of guy and would probably been better off to go there. It would be more to his suiting and budget. In fact, we were there the night he was there and witnessed his meltdown and use of foul and profane language towards the staff. Trust me, he’s a dive bar kind of guy and really has no business dining at a fine establishment like The Palm Orlando. It’s way over his head and out of his league based on what we saw of his behavior. You can’t go wrong at The Palm Orlando. I recommend it without hesitation. 5 stars all the way for me.

Amazing as always!! We had jumbo lump crab meat along with the new bacon appetizer. Wedge salad and prime rib with half and half for our meal. It was all delicious and cooked to perfection! Paul was our server and did a wonderful job! The Palm is one of our favorites and we highly recommend it!
