Went for dinner and my partners mussels had sand in them. When we brought this to the attention of the server he simply replied “no”. Completely rude and uncalled for. My steak and crab cake were nice but we will not be returning, obviously.

Food was great. The fried calamari was probably the best I have ever had. Service was also excellent. Would rate 10 stars if I could. Again, get the calamari and you won’t regret it, and might even want it for dessert too

Went for Magical dining month. Everything was very good, except the bread "pudding" was a little dry. Service and atmosphere is great, and we will probably go back soon and try some other selections!

My boyfriend and I went to dinner Saturday Sept 7 at 8:30 pm. We were very impressed with the manager Britt. He personally brought our drinks since Cameron our waiter was very busy. That made us feel very special. We are seniors and I believe we were the oldest couple in the restaurant, this does not happen to us very often. When we were leaving it was raining hard, I don't know how Britt noticed that we did not have an umbrella. He immediately came with an umbrella and told us to bring it back the next time we return to the restaurant. We are already planning the next visit. Also, we are Spanish and Britt spoke to us in perfect Spanish. We had a wonderful experience at the Osprey in Baldwin park. we have shared this experience with all our friends. Thank you Britt for your kindness and great service.

Such an experience. From beginning to end. First was greeted by the hostess who made sure to wish us a happy anniversary after she sat us. Our sever Jacob was quick to greet us aswell and welcoming. The ambiance is coastal and vibey with lighting and an overall feel that sends you straight to your favorite eatery by the water . Food & drinks were excellent. My drink Mysteries of Okochobee was gorgeous and equally delicious. jin jiji darjeeling gin And a Thai tea mixture with an egg white .We enjoyed the fresh oysters and I loved that they were accompanied by hot sauce , lemon, horseradish, red wine vinegar and a spicy cocktail sauce. The Florida ones were our favorite . The Crab Cake app ( not pictured ) was phenomenal and unique : a curry sauce with pickled watermelon rind . And to finish the dessert favorite for me was the banana bread with ice cream and pistachio . As great as all the food, drinks and ambiance were the greatest part which tied everything together was what seemed to be the manager walking around observing the dining room and making sure everyone had everything they could possibly want and need. 🙌🏻 well Done and thank you for an amazing evening out.

Happy hour is a must over here. The oysters are amazing and so fresh. Recently visited for magical dining and was not disappointed.

Very disappointing, $42 for three scallops. The scallops were beautiful and nicely cooked but the sauce overwhelmed the delicate taste of the scallops. We ordered the crispy cauliflower, it sounded like something I would like, I was wrong. The crisp was more like burnt, no cauliflowers in a few pieces just crisp. There was no joy in eating this food. There were 5 at our table. We all thought the food was disappointing.

We both had fish dishes which were wonderful. I had two cocktails and my husband had one. We were charged for the cocktail and an add on of the "mixers" for all three drinks. The drinks were a bit overpriced but I would not complain until I realized they were sneaking in additional charge for the mixer.

Katie was our sever. She was amazing, professionaland very knowledgeable and attention to detail when describing the food and wines was amazing.

Calamari and Flank Steak were both delicious. Enjoyed the Clam Chowder as well. Old Fashions were perfect. Bread pudding was not great.

It’s all about the ambiance. Food tasted bad. Whole fish was burnt. Ordered scallops and when it came I was shocked…three pieces of scallops with some sauce and that’s it, nothing else in that plate. If it tasted good then fine but it tasted bad too like burnt…wonder who gave them the courage to charge $42 for that lol maybe stupid customer like me 🙂

The steak was good, not great. The mac and cheese side was fantastic, definitely try that! The first 2 bourbons I ordered from their list they were out of...so that was a challenge and let down.

We sat at the bar and ordered with Andy. I ordered a Mocktail with vodka for my drink which was very delicious. We ordered two dozen of oysters and the sweet Hawaiian rolls. Both were delicious. I don’t usually put butter on my bread but the butter that came with the sweet Hawaiian rolls made the rolls even better. We also had the corn which almost tasted like a spicy esquites. So good ! I ordered the rainbow trout for my full course and paired it with their puréed mashed potatoes. The fish and the mashed potatoes alone were delicious but putting them together was magnificent! Our servers Andy and Woody were very attentive and helpful. I love how they boxed up the meals for us. I would definitely come back. I think they should look into getting Tabasco sauce for the oysters 🦪

We went during the first Monday of the month and it was Oyster day! I can’t get over how perfect this visit was. The food, the service and the atmosphere were top-notch. We also had their spritz and it was so refreshing. If you’re in the Baldwin Park area, you must try this place at least once. I know for us, we’ll be coming back.

The red snapper was on point and the yummy sauce complimented it well.

Food was fantastic. I had the steak. Cocktails were even better. Went for my birthday and the entire staff had signed a card and we got birthday menus. They were small but meaningful gestures.

The oysters are top notch! Tuna Capacio was delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re a seafood lover.

We had a great time at dinner here. It's a very lively atmosphere & it was crowded on a Friday night. We were the last people in the restaurant. We decided on sharing a few dishes & these were the tuna carpaccio, crush puppies, the roasted sea scallops & the mussels. Everything was delicious & our server was really wonderful.

My partner and I have been here three times in the past year and have been consistently impressed with our experience. This week we decided to try out their Sunday Supper and it was an absolute delight! We enjoyed tender ribs, soft cornbread, and sumptuous Mac and cheese. The flavors of the meal balanced eachother well and felt curated and intentional. The service also shines here. Our server Chelsea made sure we had everything we needed and was the cherry on top of a lovely meal with her bubbly personality and knowledge of the menu and extensive wine list. Cheers The Osprey!

I had a nice afternoon snack at The Osprey. The menu looked great all around. As well they have a nice beer selection, which is a great draw. I noticed they had sours, so I went with the Dragon Fruit Mango sour from Destihl Brewery. It has a lite fruit touch and the acidity I like in a sour beer. I started with the Watermelon Salmon Carpaccio and it was a smash hit together. The watermelon played nice with the fruit in the beer and the acidity cut right through the fatty smoked salmon. I really nailed this paring and the chefs prepared it to perfection. I really wanted to get another round of this. Instead I switched gears and went more savory with the Scallop Crudo. And I was a little surprised at how well this paired up with the sour beer. The coconut broth, ginger and finger lime were absolutely delightful with the dragonfruit mango combination in the beer. I was very happy with my service and look forward to coming back to try more. The Ambiance of The Osprey is warm and inviting. With soft lighting and subtle music. It feels modern with a classic core. There is large comfortable bar in the center with plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable with friends or your ipad. They have tables for larger group indoors and they have tables for sidewalk dining.

Steak was eating leather tonight. Sand in mussels waitres was fabulous need to replace chef.

Nice restaurant with great ambiance.

Open a little later than most places in the area. Food, service, and atmosphere are reliably good. Can get loud with voices of people enjoying themselves.

Great brunch! Food was delicious. I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits, so yummy Hello I'm back to update you that the food here is still excellent. We love sitting at the bar and having Sunday brunch. The cocktails are fantastic. It never disappoints. We love the bartenders that work here too.

Second Review*** I have been a regular here as I live around the corner and always loved brunch here. My previous review was about my dinner experience which was not good. I finally came back for dinner this evening and the menu was completely updated. However, the one thing that truly bridged the gap of my dinning experience with Osprey is LEX! This server made my night out for a bite to eat while it was raining cats and dogs truly exceptional. Not only did she know every detail of the new menu but she was charming and considerate beyond measure. You can teach fine dining skills to your servers but you cannot teach personality nor genuine consideration. Lex never skipped a beat with us! She made our hearts skip a beat and left a great taste in our mouths as the food and drinks tasted better with such company. As I do live conveniently close to this location I now have a reason to become a frequent guest again. Also the crab cakes with the curry and the calamari are amazing additions to the menu! The chef was even kind enough to my friend to leave out an item because he had a low sodium diet, however we would’ve never known an item was missing, Lex’s keen eye to detail is what let the cat out of the bag. Lex even offered to help my guest with his walking boot as he has a cast on. Cheers to Lex! The Link like Zelda between me and Osprey! I’ll see you guys again soon!

Lex made us want to return to Osprey. She is the best server we've ever had at Osprey by far. Her knowledge of the menu is unparalleled -- she described each dish with such meticulous detail that we had to compliment her. We learned she studies the menu for 45 minutes before each shift, and it truly shows. I had previously written a review that was less than five stars, but I am increasing it because of our outstanding experience with Lex. Well done!

Very accommodating for vegetarians

Went for drinks and a small bite after sushi across the way at their other restaurant and had wonderful service and the Crab Cake was flavorful but a bit soggy for my taste.

Enjoyed the NY strip tonight, service didn't miss.

Amazing service and yummy drinks! They have a wide variety of drink choices from cocktails, mocktails, wines, and all sorts of spirits. Even dessert drinks. The staff here was wonderful to us. Super sweet and patient. Loved it here!

Called to order the salmon smoked dip 5 minutes after happy hour and the manager refused to let me order. As someone who frequents this location and enjoys their food it is extremely disappointing that in 5 minutes one order could not be accommodated. Smoked salmon dip used to be a food item you could order all the time now you can only get it for 1 and 1/2 hour 3 to 4 days out the week. Terrible.

I really enjoy the Osprey. The presentation of the food was amazing. My server, Joe was tentative to my needs and my glass was never empty. The atmosphere was very cozy,adult and it definitely gave brunch vibes!!

The Osprey was a pleasant experience while visiting Orlando. My husband and I were visiting for a conference, and made a reservation in order to ensure we had some romantic alone time while while busy with work. We also wanted to have some seafood while in Orlando. We started with the crab cake. It was an interesting take on a very classic dish. It had arugula with a delicious sauce and vinaigrette. It was quite enjoyable. Next was the steak tartare. It was okay, but not as good as what we had elsewhere the night before. It was on a sourdough with feta. The texture was chunky rather than cake like with olives sticking out of it, which adds the tartness that is important in a tartare. My favorite part of the meal was actually the spring tomatoes. It had burrata and pistachios with a yummy blackberry balsamic. The tomatoes could have been fresher. I guess some of my rating reasoning is that tomatoes at a seafood restaurant should not be my favorite dish. My husband wanted the po’boy, which the waitress highly recommended. I didn’t care for it, but he really liked it. Then we got the Florida local fish because that was kind of the point of going to a seafood restaurant in Orlando. We wanted local. It was good. The portion seemed a little small. My husband ordered an NA cocktail that he really enjoyed. The atmosphere was a little more upscale. It could be a good place to go for a very nice dinner party or a romantic date. Overall, it was good, but not as great as we had anticipated. They are definitely trying to make creative dishes, but are falling slightly short of what I expect. It’s small portions with not a ton of taste. It was on the Eater’s The 38 Best Restaurants in Orlando list, which I trust. However, I think they slightly missed the mark. Having said that, many people live this place. Give it a try for yourself!

Great restaurant! Can’t wait to go again!

My family and I went to this place for Mother’s Day brunch. We did not have a reservation but we waited only 20 minutes to be seated, even though the place was quite busy. The restaurant is located in a nice area of Orlando and it’s a few minutes walk to a beautiful lake. The ambiance was fantastic and the food delish! I highly recommend this place if you want to have a great experience and are willing to pay a little extra to get it.

Came here for a graduation dinner and made a reservation in advance for 13 people. Service was great. Food was mediocre and overpriced at best. Many of the guest did not finish it or either picked at their food. My pasta was pretty but nasty and had no flavor. I liked that they printed my name in the menu. The atmosphere was nice, not very kid friendly. Wouldn’t return based on food.

Exquisite brunch experience. I had the steak tartare and 6 East Coast oysters. From start to finish, the service to the atmosphere to the food itself was 5 stars!

Our evening at the Osprey was amazing. A friend recommended it and now we will owe her forever. The wine list was superb. We ordered some exceptional wines by the glass including French champagne. The food was really quite marvelous: the oysters were absolutely delicious, the horseradish was the best I've ever eaten. I also had local fish of the day - a mild white fish with the perfect sauce and young vegetables. A cappuccino with an unbelievable cream cheese and goat cheese cake closed the best dinner I have eaten out in a long time. The food and wine were remarkable, and they were enhanced by the friendliest, most professional staff I have ever encountered. The managers at Osprey understand that it's the human connection that makes food so special. It was much more than just a good meal out. We saw a restaurant that worked for everyone who had a role. Osprey will be on my list every time I'm in Orlando.

I’m giving this place 3 stars although the food, service & atmosphere were exceptional. The price of one glass of wine is $16??? That’s quite ridiculously exorbitant!

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday here for brunch on a Sunday. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. We had a large party of 16 and they didn’t miss a beat. The drinks were fantastic and the food excellent. Everyone had a great time ! I highly recommend for any celebration !

Girls night out with one of my favorite bff's. This place is a vibe, rustic with a comfortable laid back type atmosphere. Decore is tasteful and the soft lighting is a win. The oysters are very clean and fresh tasting. The drinks are well crafted and quite enjoyable. The bar is welcoming and the environment feels refreshing. Not a cheap date, but you definitely get what you pay for. Overall fire. Perfect for date night/s -n- Meet up with friends. I hear they have an happy hour ! - I'll update when I have the time to catch it : ) Must try: Oysters. Muscles. Fried Cauliflower Enjoy !

This is the type of restaurant you walk out of wondering what on earth do I want next time. (That was so delicious) It makes you think you just went to a Michelin Star restaurant. The service was ok point. Very detailed descriptions of the food and drinks, very attentive but not overbearing. My best advice is if the dish sounds a bit weird, get it! I'm sure it's going to be one of the best things you've ever tried.

This is one of the most beautiful and delicious restaurants in the city. Excellent service, staff very friendly and polite. I really liked it here, a calm and measured stop and incredibly tasty food. After eating you can take a nice stroll around the town or walk by the lake

Good atmosphere, service, and food. Dish sizes are a bit small tho for the price.

Raw bar is nice; really liked: petit plateau, steak tartare, local oysters, salmon specials. Always get the lobster roll with dinner. Brunch favorites: pamplemousse brûlé, shrimp & grits, o-town coffee cocktail.

Food was excellent. Service was very good. Didn't care about the table we had, but not a big deal. Fish or meat, they know how to prepare them both !

It's a crapshoot! I don't know if there are different chefs, but the food preparation isn't consistent. The first time I went, food was great; second time, suspect, and gave it a third chance...last time I'll go there. And, fahgatabout the hushpuppies. They burn 'em everytime to the point that they were little black balls the second and third visit. Overcooked to the point that you couldn't taste the alleged crabmeat. Boo!

First time here nothing short of 5 Stars! In fact Id give it 6 stars! Chelsea was our first contact and was polite with a smile when checking in. Savannah our waitress knows her menu, ingredients and libations well! Very impressed! Oh that’s and the food, mmm, mmm GOOD!!! We will be back!

We came to The Osprey for brunch on Sunday and it was great. The seafood was fresh and very good, just like the rest of the food. The staff were very friendly and diligent. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. Amazing service with customized menu! The food was fantastic, everything was fresh and you could taste the high quality ingredients being used. Highly recommend!

We LOVED this place! Our server Hailey took wonderful care of us, answering a million questions and accommodating all our requests. With six people we sampled lots of dishes on the menu and really liked them all. The seafood tower was exceptional, don't skip it if you're into beautiful fresh seafood. The wedge salad is romaine instead of iceberg lettuce which is a great idea, it's pretty and easier to eat. The smashburger was yummy and the fries that come with it were out of this world. We ended the meal with both pastries in the menu, the cinnamon roll and the filled doughnut and all I can say is WOW. Next time we're in Orlando we're definitely coming here for dinner.

I make a point to come here every time I’m in town. Today, after a costly Uber ride from the airport I arrived to find them CLOSED even though their own website declared they were open. Why can’t an establishment manage this better? Very disappointed

Food and atmosphere were great. No wait with a reservation easily made with Google app. The seafood options could have been more robust. Had run out of some fresh options early on a Saturday evening. Service for food and drink was slow despite the restaurant not being full.

Food was just ok. Overpriced for below mediocre food. Not worth coming here for drinks nor food. $38 for duck that was very small. Didn’t come with anything else. Hard to mess up Mac and cheese, but theirs was the worst one I ever had. Lack any cheese umami flavor and was very watered down and bland. Also one of the worst steak tartare. Had capers in it and came with very salty and hard chips. Overall it was a very salty dish. The clam chowder was ok taste had better in many places for a much better price. The soup was not hot at all, it was lukewarm. None of the food was hot. All were lukewarm. Drinks were weak. Feel duped coming here. You are just paying for the decor and atmosphere of the place.

This place is like a mid century modern dream. I am a cocktail snob and this has really unique choices and not just the sugary tiki stuff. The bartenders are very nice and professional. They can answer any questions and tailor any cocktail to you. I love coming here on a Sunday afternoon

My wife treated her direct report and her husband to dinner at The Osprey. This place has always been good to us so we felt it would be a safe bet for a work-ish type dinner with friends. We were seated immediately, at a window seat as reserved. The menu offered fewer than-expected options for salads in my view ( I wanted a simple salad but the options were an extravagant apple salad or a Broccolini Ceasar (never heard of that) Salad. Our guests chose the Whole Sea Bass and Fried Grouper Salad. My wife chose the Shrimp Carbonara. Everyone really raved over their choices. I chose the Wagyu Sirloin and added one the a la carte side, sea scallops, since this was the only beef option on menu and I wanted some surf and turf. Turns out the Sirloin aspect of the beef was a huge problem. The meat had great flavor but was filled with gristle. I spent much of my time trying to discretely spit out the chewed gristle parts of my steak without my wife's colleague dismissing me as the classless spouse! It was awful. This seems like a regular menu item so I do not recommend it. Beyond that, the cocktails were nice ( very nicely done old-fashioned with orange and chocolate bitters and just enough sweet); albeit delivered very late after we ordered. Also, when everyone else's appetizers were delivered, it seemed odd the server did not offer small/side plates to the table. We were told this is normal, unless the parties want to share. We were a party of two couples so, to me, it would seem like enough of a clue for the server to just go out on limb and place the appetizer plates without me having to ask? The service experience threw me off a bit this time, but I still encourage folks to visit The Osprey. It has a reliably great ambiance; capable bar tenders; and mostly can't-miss entrés. Saturday night seems a little less buzzy than Fridays based on our past three visits.

I am a self proclaimed eggs Benedict connoisseur. The meal served at this establishment was down right delicious with multiple complimenting flavor/texture combinations. I sent my compliments to the chef. The bartenders are both fabulous and the decorations here are trendy. I am looking forward to seeing them again.

Great atmosphere, clean and happening place. Service was a bit slow. We waited 15 minutes to have our drink order taken and in the span of time missed Happy Hour. In my mind that’s the waitresses fault. I was there in time for happy hour but she said it was 4 minutes past the HH time. Food was good but a bit pricey. Fish sandwich and fries was almost $40. If money isn’t an issue I’d go again.

Nice little getaway spot. The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because I asked for a draft beer to go with my oysters and they gave me a bottle. It's my local seafood spot so I definitely will give it another chance.

The food here exceeded my expectations. The Florida snapper was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I could not believe how delicious the steak was. Oysters were fresh and the crab cake was unique and amazing. Bar service was excellent. Lots of wines and craft cocktails to choose from. Great dinner atmosphere.

Crab cake was delicious...most of our food was delicious.. didn't like the black rice... service was okay.. maybe if we go again we won't go right before they close..server seemed a little preoccupied after she took our order...was amazing and on point until that moment... restaurant beautiful..and warm.. very clean..my birthday is Thursday... this was my early birthday dinner
