The service was fantastic but the kitchen failed to deliver. The food was so over salted we could not eat it.

Tonight we celebrate my mom’s Birthday Dinner! We drove 45 mins to try this AMAZING Italian restaurant and it didn’t disappoint.The service was amazing! the homemade pasta was out of this world and the freshly made cannoli or her birthday dessert was delicious. We sat in the patio area and it was lovely!

The delightful ambiance paired with flavorful dishes created a memorable experience for my birthday celebration. Each bite was a testament to the chef's craft, making every dish unforgettable. The attention from Libby transformed our meal into something personal and welcoming. As we savored each moment, it was clear this spot isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a gem perfect for special occasions or casual evenings with friends. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Pia's is one of our top go-to's. Always delicious. Service is always great.

What a little hidden gem near the beach! Great italian spot with tons of options. We started off with the burschetta, of which the topping tasted fresh and the bread was amazing. For our main courses we got the lasagna and chicken picatta. The lasagna was so flavorful and has the perfect ratio of beef to sauce to noodle. And the chicken picatta was perfectly cooked and had a great lemon flavor. Would definitely reccomend both. The atmosphere here is also great, we sat in the covered section outside and our waitress was great. Definitely should come here for Italian if you're in the area.

I’ve had Pia’s on my list to try out for quite some time and finally took the trip down to Gulfport - I’m kicking myself in the butt for waiting this long. It’s a really nice and cozy layout with indoor and “outdoor” seating. It feels like you’re in someone’s house and the outdoor seating is still covered and comfortable and I highly recommend it. I came in Saturday during lunch and there wasn’t any need for reservations but I’d imagine for a weekend night you should make reservations because this place can get busy. Becky was my server and she was amazing. Super kind and helpful as it was my first time here. She recommended the shrimp scampi and was able to modify the sauce for my own dietary restrictions. The food was forking amazing. Homemade pasta hits so differently. I was shocked at the amount of shrimp and the size of them. And the taste was just *chef’s kiss* 👌🏾 For all of my fellow carb connoisseurs there isn’t complimentary bread here (because everything here is home/fresh made) but I HIGHLY recommend ordering their homemade bread. It’s so soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice toasty crust on the outside. Overall I highly recommend checking out Pia’s. I was hesitant to write this review because that means this place will get busier and I may have to wait, but they’re good people and are worth it. If you’re still reading this you need to punch in their address in Google maps and go grab your keys…

The food, the service and the atmosphere felt authentic. Food did not disappoint and the service was top notch. Whatever you order here, you cannot go wrong. My only suggestion is order pasta al dente.

Not our first time or our last. Pias is by far one of the best Italian in Pinellas County. The interior vibe is fun and colorful.

Great atmosphere whether inside or on the covered patio. Food is great and reasonably priced. Wait staff always very friendly. The chef is very accommodating to food allergies.

My wife and I love Pia’s. The food and service are consistently outstanding and the music from the veranda only punctuated the evening.

Excellent!! Fresh food, fantastic service, beautiful restaurant!! My dinner was on the Specials menu: Beef Tenderloin, cooked medium. Roasted potatoes and asparagus. Also had in house made fettuccine pasta with bolognese sauce and chocolate cake for dessert with a cappuccino.

Pia’s is our new favorite restaurant and James is our new favorite server! What a wonderful find - awesome attention to detail, incredible food and perfect service. James definitely deserves an A+ this evening! We made reservations to go back next week but were told James has the night off. Management, can James pick up a shift?! 🤗

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon at 3pm. Had the 6 oz Sirloin, Sweet potato, and salad. The food was great, the waitress was attentive and atmosphere was relaxing. All of the staff was really friendly wishing me a wonderful weekend on my way out. Great experience.... will definately go back.

We have been going here for years. Menu has never changed for about 5 years but they do have specials they add. Food is great right from the bread to the pasta. My favorite is to skip the mains and get a large platter of cheese and meats.

From the decor to the service to the food is all AMAZING! The private room is great. This place never disappoints. Do yourself a favor and try it!

Exactly what I wanted. Bread, great service, & a perfect martini. I ordered chicken picatta & cannot wait to go back. My friend had the gluten free pasta which she enjoyed. Next I want to try the lasagna, the bread was amazing we got the full loaf for 4 people & had plenty to bring home!

This review is long overdue, but my husband & I had our reception dinner at Pia's in April of 2024 and it was the greatest experience! We had a party of around 20 people, but our waitresses (Cora & Kennedy I believe) were absolutely AMAZING the entire night. Pia was also incredible to work with leading up to our dinner. The table decor, setting & atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous! We had a prix-fixe menu, and the food & drink was delicious. The small, personalized details were the cherry on top! We could not have picked a more perfect spot to celebrate our wedding night! Almost four months later & we still have guests reminiscing & raving about the wonderful time we had at Pia's. Thank you for everything, Pia!

We finally made it to Pia’s and were not disappointed in the least! We were in town visiting but had run across Pia’s specials on a social media site and have been wanting to eat here since. The food was incredible! We started with the calamari, it was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of lemon and garlic but didn’t overpower it. We ordered the Osso buco and Halibut special. Both were amazing, tender and delicious. The service is second to none, our waitress explained the menu and pointed out some favorites. Highly recommend Pia’s!

PIAS is a beautiful Italian style restaurant with an outdoor seating area that makes you feel like you’re back in Italy. It’s one of the only if not the only really classy high-end spots in Gulfport or the area. It’s a truly must try the food is good but the ambience is even better. If you’re looking to take great pictures get dressed up and have a beautiful night you can’t go wrong as well. There’s free parking, and it’s a small little cottage town that brings you those quaint Florida vibes that have been lost in the big cities

We sat outside (with a reservation that was made literally 30 minutes prior on a weekday) and we were served within three minutes. The vibe was so amazing and it was protected with plexiglass, so no bugs and the temp was great. Cora served us and was so so amazing!! They must pride themselves at Pia’s for having exceptional customer service because all of the servers seemed to be attentive and kind, but Cora was to another level. She was not intrusive, but answered every question throughly and was just so sweet and polite. The food was the best Italian we have ever had (we eat out a lot, we love trying new food) and everything was incredibly fresh. The espresso martini was so balanced and not too sweet but not insanely alcoholic. We just happened to decide on Pia’s last minute and we’re so glad we did. If there’s a recognition program for the servers at Pia’s, management- please reward Cora for her hard work and positivity!! Get that girl a shift meal- or two!!

Like most places these days, the portions were noticeably smaller than in the past. That being said, the food was excellent and the service was the best we’ve had in a long time. Great restaurant all around.

Gorgeous restaurant with outdoor seating. It’s deceptively large. I came in as a first timer straight from the beach so I was totally underdressed, but welcomed warmly by the staff. I’ve never had grilled calamari so delicious! Also try their bruschetta 🤌

Mostly a great experience! A few times the pasta was a bit overcooked. My go-to for Veal Milanese as the quality of their products is top notch. My only criticism is if you want the dining room ask for it at reservation or they will sit you in the bar. And the dining room walls are really dirty, especially back wall! Can use some fresh paint!

First time in this Gulfport Italian family-style restaurant. Very good experience overall. Everyone was happy with their food choice. I had the Four Cheese Penne with added Chicken. Very good!

What a gem. My wife and I just finished dining at Pia's. The atmosphere is inviting and charming. The food was great. And our server Becky was a delight. If you like true Italy style Italian food (fresh and simple) you have to give Pia's a try. Ask for Becky if she is available. Bon apatite.

My husband and I enjoyed our food - just wasn’t enough of it. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and my husband ordered the veal piccata. We both made the same comment to each other that that was the quickest we have ever eaten dinner and that we need to eat after this. For the cost it would have been nice for bread to be brought to the table and not extra money to order from the menu. Lovely atmosphere and friendly waitress. Again, food tasted great but for $80 to leave hungry we wouldn’t return.

Amazing food and service. Fettuccine Alfredo- perfectly flavored and not heavy. Breaded chicken was perfectly cooked and flavored. Amazing homemade bread (maybe the best I've ever had). Lasagna and calamari were authentic. If you are looking for authentic and robust aka real Italian flavor this is the place to go. Not for people looking for stouffers and fake cheese. Only downside is the small interior dining area. Gulfport is such a gem. Lots of outdoor seating.

I was a little reluctant to go out to eat on July, 4th because I figured service would be subpar. I was wrong. Tried this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed with the customer service from the hostess , bartender and server! Thanks for a great experience.

Arrived before 5:30 and told they were booked for the evening (the restaurant was empty) and then was told the first reservation was at 7:30 and they refused to seat us. We went down the road for dinner and had a great time and was done eating by 6:30. Seems like this restaurant is filled with people who don't want to work. Also learned at the other restaurant that people from Pia's refuse to eat there and order food from them instead. I can see why.

Ordered pasta Primavera to go. It was tasteless and largely inedible. Uncooked squash, rock-hard carrots. Who puts carrots in pasta Primavera anyway? The popularity of this restaurant baffles me. I guess it’s the only place in Gulfport people can dress up at and be snobs.

We had a lovely evening at Pia's. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint! Everyone from the hostess to our waiter was nice and welcoming. Our waiter, Dustin, was informative, but not pushy. We never felt rushed or pressured. Every single one of his recommendations were SPOT ON!! We had the eggplant parmigiana and the lasagna, and both were some of the best we've had. Thank you Pias!

Had my anniversary dinner here while in St Pete. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had gnocchi for an appetizer and masala & parm veal for dinner. It was a very busy restaurant but we enjoyed our evening. They gave us a glass of Prosecco to toast our anniversary.

This is going to be a short review of Pia’s Trattoria, in a nutshell, non è una vera trattoria Italiana It’s not at all a real Trattoria). We were on a short vacation in Clearwater and were looking for a place to eat good Italian food, we checked the reviews ( most of them good) and decided to give it a try. The restaurant has different venues one close to the other, we went to the one that did need a reservation. There were only 2 things that were worthy: one was the homemade bread ( outstanding ) and the other was the service, very attentive. We ordered 2 penne quatro formaggi but it should be called penne with a hint of cream cheese ( horrible!!) 2 eggplant alla Parmigiana, both were decent, a Caprese salad, and a linguini al pesto. I cannot recommend Pia’s Trattoria due to our unfortunate experience and subsequent illness. It's a place I will not be revisiting, nor would I recommend it to others.

It wasn't my favorite place. The service was top notch, but they put our party out in the veranda, and although it had air conditioners, it was quite uncomfortable. Even for 6 pm. My husband got the shrimp scampi, and he wasn't really impressed. I got the 4 cheese pasta, and I was not impressed. It's not a place we would return to, especially for the price.

I recently dined at Pia’s Trattoria, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. The food quality was poor, and we ended up feeling sick afterward. We started with bread and a Caprese salad, which were the only items that met basic expectations. The bread was fresh, and the salad had a decent balance of mozzarella and tomatoes. However, things took a drastic turn for the worse with the main courses. The Penne Quattro Formaggi was bland and tasted like a cream cheese with heavy cream sauce instead of an actually 4 cheese sauce. The Linguini al Pesto was equally disappointing, with a watery. The Eggplant Parmigiana was perhaps the most decent one. Given our unfortunate experience and the subsequent illness, I cannot recommend Pia’s Trattoria. It's a place I will not be returning to, nor would I suggest it to others.

Pia’s always pleases the palate. Exceptional service, bold Italian flavors without being over powering. Great wine selection to boot! For a more informal experience, try the veranda if it’s not too hot outside, very nice atmosphere and terrific live music.

The food and service was good. I didn't like the atmosphere because of the noise from so many people literally shouting, I left with a headache. They didn't give us anything courtesy.

I don’t normally do reviews but this place deserves 5 stars. I’d give it 6 stars if I could, actually. You can tell the food is made fresh with love and care. The atmosphere is beautiful even in the heat. The service was great, our server, Dustin, was so sweet, personable, and attentive. He never let our waters go empty which was heavily appreciated with the hot weather. The bruschetta was the best bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had. The Spaghetti Porodomo was filling but not heavy and sitting weird in the stomach and the tiramisu was immaculate. This was my first time here and I can honestly say I will be telling everyone about this place and I will be coming back as soon as I possibly can

What a huge disappointment. Our food was so good. Our credit card was out of our sight for a few minutes when we paid the bill. Two days later we had uber eats attempt, the meat market charge from down the street was $200 and then a liquor store attempt. Pay cash if you dine here. Our 'overly friendly' waiter is a thief. Management obviously in on it. This review has been up for weeks with no reply. Shame on you all.M

Pia's is still a Gulfport staple! We've been at least once a year for 4 or 5 years now. Always superb service with amazing Italian cuisine. See you next time, Pia's!

From beginning to end it was amazing! Aaron our server went over the menu and gave great recommendations! Definitely would ask for him next time. The appetizer of toasted baguette with honey burrata cheese with fresh peaches was out of this world good! I had the chicken piccata with the fresh made linguine and my husband had the chicken parm! Everything was so good can’t wait to come back. And the town of Gulfport is so cute! First time here but not the last

I love the shrimp & linguine! The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. They have an air conditioner in the outside seating area. We celebrated a birthday and the waitress put real flowers at our table.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service & the best meal I've had out in a very long time! I had the Sicilian martini, and we enjoyed the ciabatta while we talked before dinner. Dinner arrived fairly quickly and was amazing. My daughter had the spaghetti pomodoro with sausage, and I had the pesto Verde with shrimp. Phenomenal! I forced myself to stop eating at half so I could have it again later. Planning our next trip...

A lively place with really good Italian food. So many spaces to sit from outside to the “private rooms” . Super hip spot in Gulfport parking can be a challenge but it will work out. Dinners from the pomodoro to the pesto to a fillet mingon, with salads to start and a trout starter and the bruschetta all rock. Lots of wines to choose from and our server was great!

A group of us dined at Pia’s last night to celebrate our friend Cathy who passed away the year before. She loved Pia’s. Great food, great wine, great service and a great location.

Over rated and over priced for what you get. It’s not bad food, it’s just “not that great”. Vibes and service are good.

We had a wonderful time here! The staff was great and overall our food was delicious! The chocolate cake was dry but the tiramisu was to die for!! The pasta rosso was also delicious. The mussel linguini was delicious as well but we would have liked more pasta with it or bread on the side to mop up the sauce. 100% we will be coming back!!

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! They had live music and the staff were very friendly! The lasagna was awesome! And their warm ciabatta served with olive oil pesto and butter couldn't be better! We also liked their pesto penne and Osso buco. We really enjoyed our dinner and time over there.

Everything was soo good. Smoked trout appetizer and pesto linguine were great but the lasagna was the star of the show. So much depth of flavor in the meat sauce, had my eyes rolling to the back of my head lol. Romantic ambience with dimly lit lighting and table candle light. Highly recommend!

Our air bnb host recommended Pia’s to my fiancé and I on our week long trip to Madeira. We went here the other night, about a 20 min car ride, as our last date night meal! First off, the town of Gulfport and the atmosphere of the restaurant is incredible. Our waiter Matt was very personable and great! We had the caprese salad and bruschetta to start. Both were incredible, but we loved the bruschetta. I had an espresso martini and she had a strawberry basil martini, both were delicious. For entrees, we had veal parm and a pesto penne dish. Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was unreal. I’m a real Italian guy from Jersey, where is there is a plethora of good Italian restaurants, however this is easily in my top 3 of best Italian meals I’ve had out. Worth the trip, you won’t be disappointed. I wish I could eat this meal all over again! Can’t wait to come back in a few months in the fall when we visit again!
