I was really excited to try a 4.7 rated steakhouse but left kind of disappointed. We started out with bread and butter which seemed to be stale so wasn’t the best. We than went to French onion soup and calamari which of course came together instead of separate. It would have been fine but the French onion soup was barely Luke warm and didnt feel like sending it back So as that got colder we ate the calamari and than had the cold soup. Not the best way to start off but finished with the cowboy steak that was amazing. A lot of fat but we knew that going in and made it delicious. If it was just steak and a drink or 2 I would come back but I like the whole meal and there are so many other steakhouses in the area to compete with that do a better overall job from start to finish.

Outstanding service and great food, highly recommend to visit! Crab cake appetizer was amazing so was tuna! Steak was delicious!

This place was a referral when we were coming back from Brooklyn last weekend; I'm really impressed and glad it's close to home. Steak and pasta did not disappoint and the zucchini flowers were absolutely delicious. I'll be back!👍👍

Went to Prime 94 on 9/6 to have dinner for my husband’s 50th & also our first time there. They were on time with our reservation. Staff was great. Waiter was great too. Although I forgot his name. We had a group of 6 and we all agreed from the appetizers, dinner and dessert…everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend

this is my go to restaurant! for a girls night out, date night, anniversary, birthday, mothers day - you name it. Staff is always accommodating, i love their cocktail menu and i've never had a meal I didn't enjoy! not crazy expensive but definitely nice enough to dress up and enjoy great food and drinks with friends and family

Went to Prime 94 to celebrate a special occasion and Prime 94 delivered on point. Our server Jorge was excellent. Onto the delicious part: I had the cowboy cut rib chop with a side of 1/2 order of rigatoni w/vodka sauce and a side of brussel sprouts. All pasta is fresh made in house! Dessert was the vanilla bean creme brulee and an espresso. Everything was fantastic with the star being that cowboy cut rib chop with its buttery flavor and perfect amount of char, while everything else complementing it nicely. If you haven't yet tried Prime 94, you're missing out!

Very good steak house but not my favorite! I come here often because they open for lunch. Very good overall good steaks and cocktails.

Absolutely DELICIOUS!! The steak was PERFECT, I always get filet mignon (whenever I get a steak), always medium rare, and it came out PERFECTLY!! We were there for my work celebration so it was perfect. I have worked in NYC (for 27 years) and have had plenty of more expensive, more fancy, 'steak houses' and this was seriously on par (or better)!! I'm trying to find a reason to drive the 30 minutes to get back for another filet! It was seriously perfect! *Note I did not have the filet burger but the filet steak and it was delicious! Google only has the option for filet burger so I chose it but I didn't have it.*

This is a nice gem in Fairfield. The food is great. The shrimp and wings as apps. Yummy! The prices were decent. Large amounts of food. You leave full as a tick. The waiter, Tim, was corky but so gracious in every way. He saw us praying over our food and gave us space to finish. Very attentive. I’ve had other waiters interrupt. I can’t wait to come back!

Great selection for alcohol and has happy hour selection. Friendly staff and patrons are also top notch.

This place absolutely rocks!! I have been coming here for a few years now and the food never disappoints! They also have yummy oysters!!! I love the cowboy here it’s delicious. Prices are pretty comfortable too for a really good steak spot! Their wedge is great get it cut up!

We were a party of 10 on a Saturday evening - Prime 94 did not disappoint. Our server, Jay was great! Very competent and personable. From apps to dessert we all enjoyed ourselves. If you’re into sharing I’d recommend the porterhouse for two and the tomahawk for two. We ordered the steaks medium rare while the steaks were on the rare side we didn’t bother sending them back. The table ordered the seafood salad, iceberg wedge, French onion soup, bacon and the octopus for starters. We also ordered the gnocchi bolognese and twin lobster tails. For sides, we had garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, broccoli rabe and crème of spinach. Cocktails, wine, carrot cake, flourless chocolate cake, we were stuffed.

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we had the tomahawk, filet mignon, broccolini and truffle garlic mash. The waiter was amazing and funny. Our food came out in a timely manner and we had oysters for appetizers… they were huge! The price was great, service amazing and food tasted good! Btw the tomahawk says for two but it fed three! Pretty good size!

I met a friend for dinner & let me say how great the experience was! The Caesar salad was fresh & tasty. My Filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service was great as well! Atmosphere is nice and casual!

I decided to celebrate my birthday there with my wife. Excellent food! We had the calamari as an appetizer, she had the lobster roll and of course I had the steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back.

Can’t say enough about Prime 94. The food portions are huge, the steaks outstanding and the waitstaff is very attentive even when busy. Eat on the earlier side when it’s less crowded. I ordered a wedge salad which looked like a whole head of lettuce and a crab cake (no fillers) as my dinner. More than enough. Highly recommend.

Slab bacon .. share the porterhouse

This is a top-notch steak and seafood restaurant. The service has been stellar as were the bar 🍸. Yes somewhat expensive but the service and quality make it a real value.

Excellent place for different methods of eating ! You can go for the wonderful meal or do small plates in the bar lounge ....was very satisfied with the varied selection ,as well as the reasonable prices! The selections were so delicious and definitely will return.

I just had dinner in this rip-off place. 5 people for dinner. They added a tip which should only be for six or more. No mention of the tip being added. To make things worse there was a line for a tip it did not say additional tip it just said tip. So if you don’t look at the bill break down like most don't you would be tipping on top of the tip they already added. RIP-Off!! Would never go back. PS the service and food were nothing to write home about either.

I went here during Memorial weekend and it wasn't too busy. The steak and fries were great. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere as well. While it wasn't the best steak I ever had, it is still one of the top.

It's an hour from my home and we meet friends there. Everything is wonderful.

Great atmospheres of a traditional steakhouse that welcomes you in the first walk in. Great Food that compliments the experience. The Filet mignon and New York Strip can be found in any steakhouse but the dry aging adds more flavor and tenderness. Adding to that is the drinks from the bar being more than enough to make the night a great experience.

Seafood salad is amazing. Every time we fly in from FL, we come here for the filet mignon burger and seafood salad. Normally, the service is spot on, but this visit the server was terrible.

Enjoyed a Communion party here on May 5th. We had a private back room area with about 35 people. Good food... good service and a great time! Many had NY Strip steak, Chicken Francaise, or Rigatoni with Vodka.... Thank you to Jay our server, the additional staff who helped, and Andrew the manager. Great experience and our second party there...( did an 80th birthday party in same room 3 years ago!!!

You’re told over the phone that tables in the bar area are strictly first come first serve for walk-ins and cannot be reserved. Walked in to see about 7 tables in the bar area wide open and set for service, yet told it’ll be a 20-30 minute wait. No one waiting for a table in the lobby.. doesn’t make sense, won’t be back

First time dining here snd so happy we tried it out. Nice quiet atmosphere, attentive, friendly staff and the food was amazing! Clams on the half shell were good. Filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The garlic truffle mashed potatoes - delicious!

Came here to celebrate my partners graduation and the staff was super friendly and very accommodating! The drinks were strong but good. The appetizers were great as well! The steaks were huge and filling. The sides were plentiful! Lots to bring home. Lobster Mac and cheese was very creamy. The mashed potatoes were filling and so much for one side!! We skipped dessert but would def go back again!

I had my wedding dinner here with a party of 20 people, and everything was fantastic. All of us ordered steaks and they were perfectly cooked. We didn't have to ask for anything, the service was top notch and they timed the dinner perfectly. It was my first time here and definitely will revisit, thank you for a wonderful and successful dinner party

Disgusting, Cheap and Flimsy DISGUSTING RIP OFF!! in no way shape or form did this establishment live up to the hype of its billboards or commercials!! When I first called, the guy who answered was very accommodating, and that apparently is the best thing I could say. 2nd to that the fries were satisfying. The hostess was a Jersey crone w/no grace whatsoever! When I got the bill, I confronted her that that is not what I found on the Internet and she insisted emphatically that it couldn’t be all because that would not be possible. She found it on her phone and insisted that that’s the way that it was well one should be able to search for something and find it the way that it is and not be accused of fantasy! She was offensive and déclassé! I don’t care what she was showing me because what I showed her is the way I came across what I was looking for, and that should’ve been honored that is industry standard, and just plain good business. End-of-story. Well, if that wasn’t enough, the food was horrible. I wanted a classic cheeseburger, and of course the photograph had to be more excellent and mouthwatering than the horrifying reality! With the order I had asked for salt, ketchup, and napkins. I got a few squeeze packets of ketchup. The salt and the napkins came in a single packet you would get on a cheap airplane flight or a quickie takeout food that was it! The burger was a ———— show all its own! The bun wasn’t toasted. I asked for it well done on the outside and medium! rare on the inside, it was barely cooked at all, they threw it on the pan and threw it at me..the meat was bad t’boot!, full of gristles as well! It was disgusting.. Apparently conflicting ads were found by myself as well as the poorly unaccommodating hostess with her Jersey marm attitude. I clearly showed her where I found that it was $12.95 with her telling me: “..that just couldn’t be!..” showing me $15.95 only to have the bill be actually $17.95!!.. for what!? I don’t care how old I am, what year it is and any economic changes!! In no way on this gods green earth was that platter worth even a fraction of what money I threw in the garbage for that swill!!! Any proper hostess has the capacity to alleviate the matter instead of just coming back with attitude on attitude because that’s all she was.. I do not eat out often anymore. I wanted to treat myself from a long workday. The food was sickening, nowhere!!! near worth what I paid and I would’ve gladly paid it had it been even palatable whatsoever!! PS I am a world, renowned traveler with exquisite native New Yorker taste.

Every steak I've ever had here has been overdone. Medium rare does not exist here. I've been coming here since open. I don't even try to send it back it's not worth the time

I have to say this place is top-notch phenomenal 👏. I was here with my family for my birthday and Jon was our server. To start we ordered the wings and Burrata as appetizers OMG delicious. For entrees, we ordered the Tomahawk for my husband and I with hand-cut fries and brussel sprouts and my daughter ordered the Boneless Ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Every single dish tasted like homemade. For dessert, we had the Tres leches and Tiramisu. Tres leches wasn't too sweet and Tiramisu was on point. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious steak. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars in my book 👌

My Wife's steak perfect, I had the chicken Parmesan. Needed something for little more taste. But big portions. I know should of ordered a steak. Busy place. Employees really nice.

Awesome place food is amazing ! Great people! Their new Manger Andrew H is phenomenal. He was able to accommodate a big party at the last minute while the place was jammed!

Heard some really great things about this place and had to check it out and was not disappointed. The burrata was delicious, we had to ask for more bread because the two pieces they give you is not enough. The fennel salad and tuna tartare was also great. Again, not enough wonton chips for the serving of tartare, but still good nonetheless. For the mains we ordered the NY strip, wagyu beef rib, black squid ink seafood risotto and the rack of lamb. Everything was cooked exactly how we asked and was plenty of food. Dessert was the peanut butter tartufo, lemon tartufo and creme brulee. Since we were celebrating a birthday, we got a sparkler in the dessert as well. Would definitely come back here for another meal!

Best lobster and steak in Passaic County

My favorite steakhouse in New Jersey is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their Signature Seafood platter as an appetizer, it is truly amazing. The Porterhouse steak for two is one of the best steaks I have had in New Jersey. Another great option for lunch is their steak Sub sandwich. The service at this steakhouse is outstanding, with waiters who are both courteous and pleasant.

We had a great time catching up with friends, service never felt rushed, and very attentive. We enjoyed a few courses and a delicious dessert. The steak was delicious and perfectly prepared!

My husband and were there a few weeks ago with friends and we had a wonderful dining experience. The food and service were great and the friendliness of the wait staff was excellent.

Very nice establishment. One gripe? Sides are not included within the price of the steak. So be prepared to spend an additional $10+ for a single side. Other than that? Enjoy!

Tried this place with my family for my sister's birthday. Everything was delicious. For appetizers we tried the calamari, the mussels fra diablo, the clams and the sweet potato fries. Three different steaks were ordered along with the chicken Parmesan, and a lamb that was the daily special. Nothing disappointed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially because I will definitely be going back.

We have been here for lunch, dinner, large parties and date nights. My husband and I came here after we got married and before I went in to have our 2nd child! When i tell you this is our spot, i mean it! We recommend this to all of our friends and family. First, the food is top tier quality and freshness for a very afforable price point. We've been coming here for 3 years now and have always had a great experience between the servers and the front desk, we have always been well taken care of. Today was the icing on the cake. We had a last minute change to our dinner plans for a birthday and i recommend we come here. I called to see if they could accommodate us and they said "well make it work". They fit us [a party of 10] and seated us immediately. Thank you guys for always giving us a great dining experience

Firstly, we will be back and give it another go... the wine list had many hidden gems at very, very, very! reasonable prices. The appetizers were outstanding, and even though we ordered two very different apps, they managed to delivery them perfectly prepared at the same time. Service was efficient and ever present without being overly intrusive - water glasses never stayed empty, dishes were cleared as the course was finished. Pacing was perfect for us (we eat slow). Clearly, the kitchen and waitstaff know how to pace things, know how to make different types of items arrive together - so the next piece is confusing, maybe we were just really, really, really unlucky ... as the only thing that marred our visit was the steak. We ordered the 120 day dry aged tomahawk for two (at $140, reasonably priced given the size and extra aging). We ordered it medium rare and debated ordering it rare plus. The steak is sliced in the kitchen off the bone, a lovely presentation, so when they sliced it, the kitchen knew it was over cooked - at medium to almost medium well. However, it was served anyway. I realize this is a food cost for the restaurant, but they are a steak house and should know how to cook a steak; and having made an error in cooking, the chef should never send it to the table. I was urged by my table mate to not "make a big deal..." so we ate it as best we could. As an aside, the mashed potatoes could use some garlic or horseradish to give it a little kick so it stands up better to the steaks. We will try this place again, partly because we didn't get to try any desserts and partly to see if I emphasize even more strongly how to cook the steak if they can recover.

This was my first experience at Prime 94. From the beginning and the end I couldn’t find anything to complain about. Our server Bilal was attentive, polite and friendly! Most importantly, the steak was cooked to perfection. I recommend this restaurant to all the steak lovers. You will not be disappointed 🎤

Four of us decided to eat here on a Friday night and obviously, it was busy. We waited less than 30 min to get a table. Let me tell you this place is well worth the wait! The ribeye was the best of my life. And the garlic truffle mashed potatoes were amazing! We will definitely be back next time we're in Fairfield.

This place is always popping! The happy hour menu is incredible, however on weekdays it ends at 5:30, which can be a squeeze if you’re coming from work. The house cocktails are good too, and the pasta is to die for. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend!

Great food ! Drinks are amazing !

They have prime rib on Mondays and it's to die for!! I'm trying to be there at least once per month just for the prime rib (delicious tender meat melting in your mouth like butter) with creamy horseradish sauce, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Plus lychee martini and it's a perfect dinner!

Food was great service not so great and they stuff you in bar area if your only 3 or less guests was very uncomfortable sating up against bar with table that was so wobbly. One waitress but 4 people at front to seat people very strange

Came in for lunch today, got the fusilli and short-ribs. The food was delicious, and I had some leftover I was very excited about taking home and eating for leftovers. We asked for the pasta and short-ribs to be wrapped, it did take a little longer, we ended up asking the bartender to check what was taking so long, as we asked him they came out of the kitchen and handed me a to go bag. I noticed that the bag was definitely hotter than the food was when I sent it back but did not think too much of it. That’s until I got home and a little later for dinner I decide to reheat my meal, only for there to be no short rib in the pasta. Now I know for a fact there was short rib left on my dish when I sent it to be wrapped. Was extremely disappointed and honestly upset when I opened it and realized I didn’t have anything to eat really. I’m not sure what happened but to me it seems like they threw my dish out and tried to cover it up, either way extremely upset and disappointed.

Food was impeccable as well as service. Never had a bad meal here.

Just held my mom's 75th birthday here today (around 20 people) and everything was perfect from the room to the food to the service. All steaks were cooked perfectly to each persons request from rare to well done. The bacon appetizer was especially delicious. Most importantly, they made my mom feel special.

The place was good to eat in but the floor plan was a bit crowded I'm a big guy and the walking area they have in-between tables and people's chairs was very tight . But great service and amazing steaks you need to try , also the bartenders suggestions and method of making you a drink to like is spot on . Drinks are smooth and not over poured over all a great steak place .

Food and service was great. Had a NY Prime Steak med/well was absolutely delicious with sautéed asparagus. WOW what a perfect combination for my taste buds.

The waiters constantly were trying to take my plates away and wouldn’t let me eat in peace. The owner is also a drunkard and does not know how to hold his liquor and respect his clientele properly. He is a macchiato and thinks he is better than other people and deserves more respect than anyone else.

My 16 oz ribeye was great, along with the garlic mashed, slab of bacon, Cabrenet, very satisfied 👍

Love this place! I've been there only once and will definitely come back. The food and staff are amazing. I was there on a Monday, and it was PACKED.

We meet friends a few times a month and try different places. My response is usually when we leave is “We should’ve given that money to homeless man, that food was awful.” This place, gets it right. A first impression is a lasting one. We had 7:00pm reservations and were seated immediately. Jay our server was on point, getting us our drinks and immediately taking our food orders. Cocktails, fantastic, appetizers, Clams Oreganata were over the top great along with the cast iron shrimp. Now, the dinners - I’m a ribeye freak and 98% of the time A Pittsburgh Rare Steak comes out wrong. Not here. It was nothing short of perfect, far better than expected. Not overly seasoned, simply fantastic. The salad my wife ordered was equally as good as the steak sandwiches our friends ordered. It was a holiday weekend so with multiple gatherings the noise was positive, festive and everyone was very friendly. Note to management: You’ve mastered what a great restaurant should be. Can’t wait to return. Definitely our new go too…

We have had our Xmas party here for two years now. The food is top tier, the service was second to none. Prices were fair also. What made this place stand out was not just their food but the people. The blonde host in the front was lovely, and the servers worked great as a team. I run a business and its obvious this place has great leadership and a winning culture! We will see you again soon. Prime Rib was decent but far from great. Stick with the 16oz though, 32 definitely not worth it. No choice in the sides and being stuck with tiny order of broccoli and mashed potatoes was a disappointment as well. Apps were a bit underwhelming. May give another chance at some point, definitely not for the prime rib Mondays though..

This is me and my boyfriends 4th time coming here, and we have never had a bad experience! The food and drinks are always delicious, and the steak is always cooked perfectly. We have been to a bunch of steakhouses and Prime 94 has by far been the most consistent in quality. Highly highly recommend!

Went to our company holiday party there and it was delicious. I got a skirt steak and it was the best cut I ever had. So smooth especially with the truffle mashed potatoes. I absolutely loved it. Thank you

Food was mid. Wife had grilled salmon that was overcooked. I got a NY Strip which was good, but not to the level of a $45 charge for 16oz. Creamed spinch was fine, but lacked flavor. Cheesecake was FIRE though! 🔥 Service was all but painful. Very slow kitchen with little communication from server. Didn't even get asked if we wanted anything else to drink after getting some water. It took us 2 hours to get in and out with no appetizer and dessert to-go. It took way too long. While the ambience and overall vibe was slightly upscale, it was very loud in the bar area. I would not return to or recommend this restaurant. Bottom line, the decent money we spent on sub-meteoker food was not worth it, especially after waiting a full 60 minutes in a loud bar to receive it. Easily a 1.5 star establishment without the cheesecake.
