If I could give 0 stars, I would. The owners son (about 6 years old) was running around the restaurant screaming and yelling the entire time we we there. The food looked like it had been sitting out ALL day. The egg rolls and rangoons were stale. Even when they finally brought out new trays of food, it tasted reheated and not fresh at all. I will NEVER come here again.

As you can see from the photos that the interior of the restaurant is very similar to many restaurants with dividers and glossy tables etc. etc. nothing incredibly ostentatious. I would like for Newberry Florida to have a place like Clearwater Florida did with chopsticks restaurant. They had big beautiful Chinese silk murals with gold threads in them and Buddha statues that look like they were made out of golden awesome resin tables with different kinds of Chinese design work underneath the coating just gorgeous but in the end the food there is not a whole lot different than what you can get here at the red wok. My biggest problem is I can’t get all of my Chinese favorites there all the time and you really have to go at the start of that meal whether it’s lunch or dinner otherwise it gets dried out and raunchy. So it is your responsibility to go early for dinner at five and early for lunch by noon just eat your favorites and stay away from things that you don’t know. Know that you won’t get all of your favorites there but that you’ll get enough

My favorite Chinese birthday in Alachua County, the general tso’s is fantastic

Food was not good. Rice had no taste. Orange chicken and General Tso's chicken were tough and chewy.

Small amounts are brought out to the buffet often keeping everything fresh. Buffet is very clean. Tables are clean. Staff/owners are very nice. Lots of regular known by name. Would definitely visit again. Food is excellent too.

There was barely any food and all of it was disgusting. The floor was so greasy it was like a slipping slide

Worst buffet ever. What little food was on the buffet was terrible and tasted stale. The sushi looked like it was melting and was not even making contact with the cold table. The cleanliness was atrocious. Floor was so greasy my son fell down. The table was sticky all over. The light switch in the ladies room looked like it should have been in a mechanics shop because it was so filthy. Just 🤢! I hope we don’t get sick from the little bit of food we did eat.

Smaller buffet, but very good, hot, fresh and clean

I usually don't comment of customer service because all I care about is the food. But both were great ! Portions were big and it tastes fresh !

It's a typical Chinese buffet with some Mandarin food options it's a good place to eat it's not super fancy but it's a good place to eat I've been coming here for a couple years now and the food isn't as good as it was before covid but it's still good the customer service is very nice the girls are very nice they are very quick to get whatever you need and the atmosphere is quiet but yet they have the Oriental music playing softly in the background the bathrooms are always clean and stocked and the buffet is always stocked

I definitely will be back!!! Service was super fast!!! Only I dislike is the establishment being closed on Monday.

The pork dumplings and sauce were wonderful. A small bite of yummy goodness. The Crab Rangoons were awesome. Limited sushi menu. Haven't tried the buffet yet.

Best Chinese food place ever. I’ve been going there for about 2 years and the servers are beyond amazing and the food is too. Love their green beans and their honey chicken, so fulfilling!! 😩 The place is small, but it’s so comforting and is a nice place to go to when you just want a small, peaceful environment. The only bad thing is the table I sat at tonight was tipping a little, nothing a few screws can’t fix though!

Food was pretty standard "Americanized" Chinese fare. I would avoid the sushi; tast was off and might have made my friend sick. Decent price for what you get and it is what it is.

It's o.k. Slow on refilling items on the buffet. Service was good.

Family loves going here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is good with Sushi Rolls and traditional Chinese food.

Food is okay but they are not quick to replace it. They sat us right on top of the next table and with everyone getting up and down it was uncomfortable.

Hostess was great, nice calm atmosphere, great fresh food, and very clean. We like coming here.

My fiance and I have been here 4 times the hostess is always so nice to us. The food is yummy. Small family owned restaurant so just try to get there during dinner time cause stock of food runs out fast during the rush but they work hard to replace everything.

The hostess was pleasant. It's a very small place with the prices of a big buffet. When some of the food trays were empty no one was replacing them for about an hour. One of four ice cream flavors (oreo cookies) was finished and they said they would replace it "later". Sushi rolls selection was scarce. No steamed shrimp. No hibachi.

Food had been sitting out for a while, apparently between rushes they don't put out new food (approximately 2-3 hour periods in between rushes) service was okay but then again the place was almost empty.

Everything was fresh and very good.

The food was dry where it sat out on bar too long and they really don't have a big selection of food to choose from but when they brought fresh food out it was good.

Been going here for a year now, they've always been nice people everytime I come in. They always make my takeout fresh. I LOVE this place

Not as good as it once was. OK when you are looking for a big plate rather than a really good plate. Some food seemed over cooked. Think the pandemic didn't do the place any favors.
