Coffee was really good, just extremely slow service despite being very few customers.

Travel the country for wedding photography work AND primarily do my editing out of coffee shops. Revés is ABSOLUTELY in my top 3 coffee shops.

Can’t recommend enough! I stopped on my way from TX to FL and I’m so glad I did. They definitely saved my opinion of Louisiana, lol. I ordered an Iced Caramel Latte, a Strawberry Peach Shortbread, and an Egg in a Basket. All 3 were absolutely delicious. The staff are top notch!

I've been frequenting this location for a few years now, and it's become my go-to stop for taking my time to enjoy my coffee. The selection has a number of solid staples, complimented by new creations, masterminded by staff members that are as warm and welcoming as they are passionate about the coffee. The location itself has its own identity, a congenial mix of relaxing cafe atmosphere and scattered charming traces hinting to the building's own history. For anyone visiting from out of town, this place is a MUST!

It’s always nice when traveling cross-country and you stop in for breakfast and the baristas know their stuff and more importantly the roasters do too. The turkey panini was so good. Banana bread delicious!! And We played cards w the kids!! Stopped in on a Saturday morning The staff seemed attentive and friendly- bonus!!

Hands down, my favorite coffee in Lafayette. Best Americanos, lattes and pour overs in town. I don't add flavors or sweeteners to my drinks, so I can't speak to that. Great location downtown

A must visit place in Lafayette downtown. Very rare to see a coffee shop where they roast their coffee beans in the back. Spoke with the owners, really nice people and they care about their guests. Place is really cool to have coffee, tea, and pastries. Restrooms are clean 👌 (good job kn that). Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend it.

Service was subpar as was my dirty chai. Atmosphere was great, very clean and trendy.

Excellent spot for craft roasted whole bean, single origin coffee! As climbers who live on the road full-time, our small comforts are mighty important. Reve was a much needed spot along the Gulf Coast. The shop is bright and open with great vibes and good music. A very chill atmosphere in the middle of a sweet little downtown. Our stop in made our sleepy Sunday morning perfect. We purchased two bags of the Ethiopian Heirloom beans - African beans are our fav and have been harder to come by on the gulf coast. Excellent, light/medium roast on the beans which is perfect for our homemade overnight-steep cold brew. Our brews were beautiful with berry and tea-like notes, no bitterness at all. We may live in a van but we don't compromise on our morning coffee routine! Thank you Reve for being a major bright spot on our Gulf Coast travels. 💗

Excellent coffee house with wonderful staff. A customer was really rude to one of the baristas and the barista was an absolute pro. Both barista's we talked to were super nice, patient, and just awesome. Customers here are friendly for the most part and there seems to be a great sense of community. This place is a staple in downtown Lafayette, and all coffee is home-brewed. Nice pastry selection, and usually pretty quiet atmosphere to get work done. Small selection of books and board games to play

Loved the atmosphere and coffee. Latte was really velvety. Be warned the biscuit isn't a traditional buttermilk biscuit if that's what you're looking for.

First time we went it was great. The gentleman, looked like a manager, who was there paid attention to our order and had our drinks done within minutes, even with a line. This time the lady served everyone after me before me. The manager was not there today or else I would’ve spoken to him. I literally sat in my car waiting for my girlfriend to get a latte made for HALF HOUR!!!! While everyone else coffees were made first and the girl flirting with some guy for attention. Never going there again! Shame because I like their coffee.

Honestly, no offense to Lafayette…., but I’m surprised to find such a good coffee shop here. The coffee is great, and the atmosphere/music is too.

This is one of those magical places in the heart of Lafayette where you get in with a friend and get out with a partner. Thank you, Corey, for letting us bug you with questions for 2+ hours. The coffee was delicious, but the story behind it was fascinating. We will be back, of course.

A very picturesque place near the downtown area in Lafayette… this place’s location is ideal for a quick stop and a quick caffeine boost, however, if you want to enjoy a nice cup of Joe together with a freshly baked snack, you are at the right address with this nice little coffee place!! They dress the coffee very nicely 😁!!

Two Australians with a caffeine addiction walked it, and two cortados, some take away cold brew and beans for home later, two very happy Australians walked out. Would highly recommend!

Good vibes on a Friday afternoon ✨ You can count on seeing people from every group, demographic, and background on any day of the week. The melting pot of Lafayette, if you will. Recommendation: Chai latte w/vanilla and oat milk + a pastry.

Wonderful coffee products and friendly staff. Best art award goes to Tim but the entire staff is welcoming, warm & incredible. By far my favorite cafe in the US. The cafe manager Brigitte hooked my tribe up with a linguist who helped my tribe, it was her now husband. When I returned to Lafayette after years I was immediately welcomed back as a regular. This is an ace business. I love everyone here

It might have started off bad with the wrong greeter at the door trying to close up 25 minutes early. But nothing beats this delicious rêve coffee!!

The recovery tea was amazing. You must order it.

I did not have a good experience today. I ordered a seasonal “Sweater Weather”, which said it was “Latte Style” which I expected a normal size (12 oz) and style coffee with flavored syrups. We got maybe an 8 oz cup, 2/3 full of coffee the rest whipped cream. Then drink was terrible! The coffee was so acidic that’s all I could taste. The coffee was also over $6 after tax. Will not be going back.

Friendly warm atmosphere. Great coffee and wonderful selection of other eats and drinks. Employees are spectacular. Highly recommend you stop by if you’re anywhere near here. Edit: 2 years later this place is consistently outstanding.

Great coffee and cocktail shop. I love that the have unique and interesting drinks and bakery items. The only issue is that they allow non service animals inside. Unfortunately, I had my delicious Peaches and Cream biscuit ate by a dog in the shop. It happened extremely fast and the dog was extremely big. The dogs owner order me another item yet, I left with dog hair all of my items due to customers petting the animal.

Ooo yummy and fun and convenient! Fun atmosphere and nice location for a coffee shop. We both had the Voodoo coffee and look how fun it comes out - you can mix it to your liking! The cardamon cake had a lovely flavor and the blueberry biscuit was enormous!

Overrated “cafe” that queer-baits for profit & edginess but actually isn’t inclusive, doesn’t take care of their employees & took down their pride flag. Very old Lafayette, a bad look & bad business practices as far as serving the community. Do better.

It's clear upon walking in that they have no regard for the happiness of their employees. Guy at the counter always looks like he's ready to leave at any moment. Not to mention they took DOWN their pride flags during pride month and when confronted about it, said they didn't have pride flags up previously. Reve is not the shining beacon for progress that people perceive them to be, and it's time that Downtown Lafayette wakes up and chooses a coffee shop that treats their employees and the community better than any other capitalist joint.

Best coffee shop in south Louisiana by far.

Been my go-to spot for a visit here in town while on some business. The staff is super friendly, and they have Kombucha on tap (Amen), and enjoy seeing the eclectic mix of locals just out getting their caffeine fix. Kid friendly too if that applies to you. Thanks guys, I'll be back for sure.

Let me start by saying I am not a coffee drinker. I had to go here for a business meeting. I had my son with me and it happened to be his 16th birthday. He wanted to try a cold coffee drink but I had no idea what to tell him to try. The young lady at the counter was super friendly and advised him on what she would suggest. I wish I knew her name to give her credit. My son LOVED the drink she made him. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stop by again and I will even try one. Great job...

i really like this place just had a bad experience today literally watched a girl pour my breve latte in a to go cup from a mug and when i asked why there was no foam she opened the cup and said ‘look it’s right there’ handed me the latte back hate to be that guy but i’ve worked in coffee for years and this is just not how you handle that

I stopped in for coffee and lunch at this location several months ago, and I have made it a point to return every week since then. When you find the best you can simply forget the rest. Part of what makes this location the best are the top-notch baristas and chefs they've employed. Two baristas in particular stand out during my time at Reve. The urbane brunette with glasses and the vivacious redhead. You can get a cup of coffee and a sandwich just about anywhere, but you cannot get the same sense of welcome and belonging at just any coffee shop. Also, the man who makes the sandwiches is a wizard at what he does. Plus, he always delivers the food with a friendly smile, and that simple act makes the meal all the more enjoyable.

I love this place, every time im downtown I have to stop and get a cup. Brigitte is probably the best barista in town and always makes it feel like home. The food is legit and all the drinks top notch. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

Love this place! I frequent the downtown location and the coffee and baristas are top notch! Very well trained, excellent customer service. I am a coffee person. I love good coffee but most importantly I look for good service. Reve Coffee gets an A plus from me on both. Tip: the cold brew is excellent and the choice between two espressos is the best part about the coffee. I highly recommend!

Having lived many years in Portland, Oregon, I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops, and this is one of my favorites! 1. I don’t normally bother with foofy drinks, preferring the classics, but Rêve’s are creative, well-made, and beautiful! And the espresso’s as good as the good stuff anywhere. 2. The food is so much better than what you’d find at most coffeeshops, and it was a great when we didn’t want a coma-inducing breakfast. Our fruit-topped avocado toast on whole-grain local bread was so delicious. And where most burritos are built as if to feed a construction worker, our breakfast burrito was not overwhelmingly large. Passing it through the panini grill for a lightly crispy finish was a nice touch. 3. Atmosphere! I love the airy light at this spot and can see why so many people choose to set up camp with their computers for hours! 4. This location’s Instagram had a really fun online “Advent calendar” of interesting (and hilarious!) facts related to Christmas from around the world.

We came to grab coffee here today and as always we were not disappointed. But even more standout than the coffee, was the barista Jay. Even with a line to the door she had a smile on her face and was so sweet to us! She was extremely personable and answered all the questions we asked her about our lavender latte and filthy animal. She told us how everything is scratch made and we could both tell she takes a lot of pride in her work. At a time of year when so many people are not in the “spirit” it was so refreshing to meet her here at Reve today! We will DEFINITELY be back ♥️

I have been a regular here and it is safe to say that Reve’s never disappoints! The baristas are very warm and welcoming to me everytime I come. It has been a point to where it is a first name basis when I show up and it feels very nice. The atmosphere is very unique and clean. They always create fun, new drinks and it is always a hit! Highly recommend taking the time to stop by!

Good coffee but the woman who took our order was rude. In truth, I rarely stop in this place anymore because 3 out of 4 times i have been met with discourtesy. It is a shame though because the atmosphere and quality of the coffee are so nice.

This place is too cool. Their bean roaster can be seen in the back...and the staff seemed full of energy. I had the Kenya roast, black. When it arrived, it was the perfect hot temperature for drinking and it was delicious.

GREAT quality coffee!! I don't like fruity/specialty flavors a lot of times, but I would drink their Ethiopian blend EVERY.DAY. if I could!!

Updated 7/24: The barista that took my order was as sweet as can be, answered all my questions and was providing phenomenal service. Unfortunately the barista that was making my drinks had a poor attitude upon her being asked to correct an error she had made while making my beverages. The issue was not the error but the lack of desire from the barista to want to correct the error. It all went south from there and I sadly left with a bad taste in my mouth because I was really looking forward to supporting a local shop. I have now since spoken with the manager about the situation and I truly appreciate the solution we came up with to remedy the experience. I look forward to returning to the store and trying out their coffee because the cafe space is inviting and the micro-roaster concept is intriguing. Additional request: I hope they start stocking Heavy Whipping Cream.

Lovely hidden gem! My husband and I stopped by here for breakfast while on a road trip, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! This coffee roaster definitely knows what they are doing and they do it well. The interior is unique and very bright, with lots of seating options and windows. Their cortado is by far the best one I’ve had in Louisiana and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality coffee shop in Louisiana!
