My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant awhile ago and it was such a great meal and experience, particularly because the owner made my kids feel at home and helped them with the game machine in the back. He then made sure, repeatedly, that everything was perfect and again made my children feel special. So of course when it was time to plan our youngest daughter's first birthday we hired Rice and Noodles to feed a huge amount of people. Once again, they went above and beyond and cooked an incredible meal and packaged it so perfectly that by the time I got home (an hour drive) the food was still hot! Everyone raved about the bulgogi, mandu and japchae. I am very picky with my japchae and kimchi and I love it here. It reminds me of my childhood and I'm so grateful we got to share it with our family and friends for our daughter's birthday. Don't miss the mandu sauce too, it's so delicious.

This is a hidden gem that I will now put in my rotation, the food was amazing perfect portions and was aesthetically pleasing to look at. The real gem was the owner he was patient, explained what and how it's cooked and even a little back story on the food we ate...all in all definitely a great experience 👍🏾

Simple dishes, great personal service by owner. It looks like a small family owned place, where you get literally noodles and rice dishes, all prepared by the owner cum manager. I like it, though it’s a bit far from my place.

Tasty and fast. Served with a smile. They went for a vibe that ended up feeling cheap. Plastic bowls, tables in disarray, etc. The bathroom sink didn't seem to work for any of us.

When entering there's a big menu screen thats easy to read. the man taking the order was so helpful at describing parts of the mean and was very fun and nice over all!

Cozy restaurant with great food and staff. My wife and I love eating here. Try the pickled radish with your meal. I did and will definitely have again

Really good and honestly should be known more. The food was really really tasty . I got the bulgogi which was flavorful . Filled with beautiful colors and flavors I got the kimbap with the spam which was cooked perfectly through and came with delicious sauce. The place was clean and had good kpop music and good vibe

I was greeted immediately when I came in, I wish I had gotten the man's name because he was so helpful. Answered my questions on spice level and made sure I was happy with it before I left. So friendly, place is very clean, and food is amazing. The sauce he told me they make in-house and it is so flavorful. Highly recommend 👌

Best Korean food in Jax, skip the frills of fancy artwork and over complicated decor at the rest of the Korean restaurants in the city. Mom and pop style delicious food. BEST JAPCHAE.

We've eaten here several times and it's always delicious!!! The host even let us try their homemade pickled radish (crisp and refreshing), kimchi (bright and spicy), and gave us an extra bowl of rice to take home for leftovers! They're truly so friendly and the atmosphere is cozy!! Highly recommend the Mandu Ramen and BaBimBop with spicy pork!

The food is really good here. I ate here 3 times and it was delicious but I will never be back again. On my last visit I encountered 2 roaches in the restaurant. One was rather large and dead under my table. I went to the napkin and utensils table to get napkins and there was a roach crawling on top of the napkins. Sad because the food is good, but I won’t be eating here again.

This is run by a husband and wife team and it is SO GOOD. The kimchi is made in house and it's the BEST. Also their house made sweet tea is perfection.

VEGAN FRIENDLY: (Original Meal Has Beef) One of the hardest parts about being vegan and going to dine out or take out is having trust that the restaurant knows clearly that animal products and do products are not ok. For my is a health reason and for my girlfriend it’s for the animals. The women who rang us up and prepared the food was very verbal about what was going to be in the food. I am 100% please because not only was it vegan but it was magnificent. I absolutely loved the noodles. My girlfriend only wished she had more soup in her Miso Ramym but still a 10/10. We will be back to get more for my order and something else to try. Thank you so much for being over extended with explaining the ingredients without having us ask. I means a lot. Eat is a very scary thing for my mind and body. Walking in the restaurant it had a decent appearance but the smell of the food lingering blinds you from everything. YET!!!! It is still worth dining in and having the food experience.

I'm amazed this place isn't packed. The food was absolutely amazing and filling. I live about an hour away, but I would make the journey back here. I got the Japche - I've had glass noodles before but this was a whole new level of flavor!

I saw this place reccomended online, I was unsure at first as when I walked in during lunch time there wasn't anyone inside apart from the staff. I assume they mostly get takeout orders and don't get very many dine-in customers. The staff was polite and after I had ordered the food it didn't take long at all to get the food. Which I believe was cooked to order as a few mins after I ordered I could smell it being cooked. I ordered the beef bulgogi with a side of kimchi. I haven't been to any Korean restaurants since the area I'm from doesn't have any but I will say the beef bulgogi and kimchi were amazing! Wish I lived closer as I'd order from here probably way too much. 😅

Mando was great, bibimbop was to die for. Kimchi was wonderful, wish they were in Lakeland, would eat there at least one every week.

My husband and I love grabbing food from Rice & Noodles. We discovered this restaurant because we’re working on many home renovation projects and Home Depot is just around the corner. Now, we constantly make an excuse to stop in to grab some kimbap or bulgogi bowls. The staff is incredibly friendly and eager to serve you!

Came here with my husband for the first time. We had Korean rice bowl before and normally they serve in a big stone ware bowl with a big portion food. We were not sure about the sizes in this restaurant so asked the cashier but she just carelessly gave us a gesture. We thought it should be enough if we ordered one bowl of rice or noodle for each other . We were WRONG! They use black plastic shallow containers which Chinese restaurants normally use for pint sizes of dishes! Spent $13 for tofu rice and $15 for glass noodles and we were still not full! My husband had to order a miso ramen noodles soup again! It was slightly bigger than previous two dishes! So totally spent $44.08 including tax for three small dishes. Very pricey! However I have to admit the food was fresh and cooked for order. But I will probably not come back. At 6 pm on Saturday evening there’s only two of us eating there! I guess whoever came there once knew the reason.

Casual Korean food with excellent flavors and service. Cannot wait to go back. Too few places like this in Jacksonville

I rarely leave reviews but this place was really exceptional and unique to me. I got my food mild but it still kicked me in the same way that spicy food was, not because it was spicy, but because it was simply so wonderfully flavorful. The atmosphere was very calm and the restaurant was very empty, and the service was simply exceptional. It's hard to find good ethnic food around here but this place really stands out, so I'd highly recommend it if you're feeling in the mood to try something around here!

I had the bibimbap and a side of kimchi and it was delicious. Not a fan of runny egg but I forgot to ask, either way I cleaned my plate. The kimchi was fresh and we'll seasoned. Can't wait to return!

Dohe and his wife make amazing and authentic food. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal before a movie at the theater close by. Dohe even gave us some pickled radish to try. Will definitely be going back!

The Korean seaweed roll (forget what it was called on the menu) is divine. Get it with the Spam. I'm obsessed! Wish I could eat it every day, but I live an hour away. Man at the counter was incredibly kind and helpful as well.

Wonderful food with outstanding customer service!

My first time visiting this establishment and it was amazing. Oh my gosh I’m so happy with them. I will definitely go back. The Korean roll was absolutely stunning. The wife is the chef and she definitely put the appearance on all the dishes and that’s really important to me. They just got a look good to taste good, and she is spot on.

The food here was excellent! The atmosphere was quiet. This restaurant really should have more business than it does. I had the miso ramyun and the kimchi, and I highly recommend 🥰

I love coming here! the food is so good one of the workers (I can’t remember his name) even showed me how to eat the bibimbap, if you were looking to try new food this is the place to go.

The food in this place ROCKS! I ate supper here twice while in town. I have much experience with Korean food, with Daegu bulgogi and dak gogi being my favorites. I don't care so much about ambience which they don't have alot of. Their food speaks to what their priorities are!

We are so happy we came to this place! Not only was the food delicious and very authentic tasting, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They really helped us enjoy our experience even more with conversation plus they let us play with the Arcade machine. Will definitely return to this place.

Here’s my honest take on this place, the food is pretty good, everyone finished their plate. The price is pricey because the portions are cereal bowl sized, and you pay 15$ for a meal, atmosphere inside could use some attention.

WAY OVER PRICED fast food. Don’t waste your money. Took my dad there for the first time and was very disappointed. Order beef noodle soups - it came with a few slices of beef that didn’t taste like beef. Yuk! … still wondering what that was?! $17 per bowl?! It’s a ripoff with lousy food.

I don't understand the high reviews given this restaurant. We've been there twice--decided to give it a second chance. There's no ambiance at all. Interior is worn, with only high-top tables. Friendly staff, though, who are very anxious to please. We ordered dumplings, which I'm fairly sure were microwaved from a frozen state. They were bone dry on the edges. We could hear the sounds of microwave settings as we ate, so don't know what else was pre-prepared. Meat was dry and rice gummy. Drinks are $3 each. Plastic forks and take-out containers for indoor dining ruin presentation of food and did not reflect a $50 meal for two.

We had kimchi jeyuk, bulgogi dupbab and bibimbab. Actually better than I expected. I would like to go again.

This place is a gem! Food was delicious and out to us very quickly, the restaurant owner made us feel like family when we went there, and the place is very kid friendly. There are video games for the kids to play, wasn’t too busy when we went which was surprising, but I didn’t mind not having to fight crowds. If more people knew about this place I’m sure it would constantly be filled! Definitely will be going back

This place is one of the best spots for Korean food in FLORIDA! Family business, very nice people, nice atmosphere, and AMAZING FOOD! I’d share a picture but our plates and bowls were completely empty! We’ll be coming back for sure. Go support this wonderful restaurant!

Seafood Ramen is so tasty! I get mild and my husband gets spicy. Mild has a little bit of spice to it. Just enough to make it yummy!

We were very glad that we stopped in to check out rice & noodles. The seafood ramyun was excellent and loaded with shrimp, scallops, mussels and octopus.

Wow. I don’t usually write reviews, but the kimchi fried rice with spicy pork was out of this world.

The meal was good. The staff was kind of standoffish. I felt like I was bothering them by coming in.

Super happy with the portion size, flavor and service. Got the steak bowl and it was spiced perfectly. Wasn't busy and you can add kimchi for $2! Wife got the kimchi bowl and wasn't too spicy, highly recommend.

I got the spicy ramen and let me tell you it was so good. Not like super spicy but if you e ever been to Korea or Thailand when they say spicy they mean it and this is exactly what I wanted. Don't get it unless you're up for it haha. Super tasty and clean!

Pretty good place for very simple Korean-inspired rice bowls and basic kimbap. Prices are reasonable and the meats were cooked pretty well. However, the kimbap didn't have the typical egg strips and zucchini. They had too much rice as well. There are places with better Korean food in Jacksonville. I'd come back for quick lunches though.

Place is a little small but they have some good entertainment on the TVs and music. Food was fast and not too expensive. Menus is small but straight to the point. The service was good and she was really nice. Not in a bad area. Food had a lot of flavor

Small little Korean inspired food spot, very quiet, not busy, friendly staff, doesn't have a huge menu but the food was very tasty! I got the spicy pork kimchi rice bowl, it was awesome!

The Pork K-Ramyun had great tasting broth and meat. Mandoo Ramyun had a little less flavor in the broth but the dumplings were good. The Kimchi was very good. Spicy level had good flavor and not too spicy.

the spam kimbap is so flavorful, savory, theres a sweet pickled portion to the roll that works so well, the sweet spicy gochuchang sauce is so amazing with the rice bowl! must try this place its so good
