Spectacular food and phenomenal service! 1000% recommended! ♥️

I walked into a very warm ambient space, and ordered their Feijoada. Presentation was clean with an excellent portion. The stew was rich and maintained a perfect temperature. That combined with their separate platter of rice and accoutrements provided a satisfying diversity of textures and flavors. The staff was very attentive and professional. Definitely a cozy place to treat oneself and friends.

We had a Party of 13 and not 1 complaint, food was delicious from appetizers to main course, a must go to spot. Won’t disappoint!

Our experience at Rustic Bistro 21 was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable waitress, Ray, who made our dining experience even better. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and charming, with unique decorations that added to the overall ambiance. Now let's talk about the food - it was simply fantastic. For starters, we tried the "torresmo" with pink guava sauce, which was crispy fried pork belly that melted in our mouths. For our main courses, I had the bacalhau ao forno, a salt cod gratin dish that was absolutely divine. My husband had the feijoada, a traditional Brazilian dish that was packed with flavor and served with all the classic sides. To top off our meal, we shared a delicious dessert - Petit Gateau de Dulce de Leche with pecan ice cream. It was the perfect way to end our dining experience at Rustic Bistro 21. Overall, we highly recommend giving this place a try. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch, making it a dining experience we won't soon forget. Stopped in for lunch on a whim and so glad I did. Tapioca app with pepper jelly was yummy and different and I will be bringing the family to try the chicken stroganoff for themselves - so good! Chef himself came out to see if everything was good, can’t remember the last time that happened. Recommended!

My daughter and I both had the Estrogonofe de Frango. Wow, what a treat! The chef prepaired a wonderful meal and the service was the best! We shall return.

My friends and I had come into town and are new to the area and were looking for a nice place to eat. We were asked if we had reservations as we were unaware reservations were needed. The server who had asked us gave pretentious unnecessary attitude and walked back to the bar and chatted with the other servers, staring and giggling at us and didn't even bother getting back to us about availability. We decided to leave and the staff was rudely giggling and glaring at us through the windows. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

We arrived to enjoy a nice dinner, and when we walked in the host asked if we had a reservation. We are not from the area and nothing online mentioned a reservation, but the host said he would check everything out for us. He went behind the bar, and started talking with the other workers while looking and laughing at us. He never came back to tell us anything and stayed behind the bar while we waited to hear anything. As soon as we left, the host went back to the host stand and kept glaring at us through the window while laughing. We felt extremely disrespected and no business should operate as such.

Each plate that came out was beautifully presented. You could really sense the pride they have in their great food and service! Would definitely recommend!

I made a reservation to go last night with my family for dinner and as always it was spectacular!!!! Beautiful place, cleanliness, service and quality. I have been celebrating my birthday at this place for two years and I never get tired of going, my children love it. I rarely leave reviews, but my recent visit to this restaurant was sub par and infuriating. From the moment we arrived, the level of professionalism and courtesy was non existent. The staff seemed like they were acting superior over our group and judgmental. Making snide comments, talking and pointing while they went to talk to other staff, and laughing at us while pointing at us. All while making us wait at the front of the restaurant. Making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Overall, the lack of courtesy and basic customer service skills displayed by the staff made for a very unenjoyable short visit. We didn't stay after this experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a positive and enjoyable meal. There are plenty of other places with better staff to go to.

Everything from atmosphere to service to the food was amazing. A very clean and comfortable hidden gem on Southside Blvd. Everything we tried was delicious. From the braised short ribs to the pork belly appetizer to a delicious vegan plate for our daughter, all of it straight fire. One of the friendliest staffs of any restaurant we’ve visited. Would definitely recommend to try for dinner. You can make reservations on RESY.

It's a beautifully decorated location. The food is delicious and the portion is perfect. I ordered a Chicken Stroganoff and it was creamy and not to salty. The dessert was not too sweet either. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a nice location for date night or want a good place to eat lunch or dinner in a relaxing atmosphere

My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night and everything we tried was delicious! We had the Escondidinho, Costela ao Molho Madeira com Risotto de Parmesão, and the Lasagna à Bolonhesa. The atmosphere was lovely and all of the staff were pleasant!

This is the second time me and my husband visited this amazing Brazilian BISTRO. The food is delicious, very flavorful. The service is very friendly (both time we were there, the Chef spoke to us just to make sure everything was good). The atmosphere is very cozy, beautiful. We already tried few different meals, like: lasagna, bobó de camarão, feijoada, bolinho de bacalhau, dadinhos de tapioca and escondidinho de carne seca - All of them are very very good. I highly recommend this BISTRO. We will be back many other times, for sure! 😃

The best Brazilian in Jax hands down! Torresmo was crispy and the guava sauce was the perfect amount of sweet to pair it with. Picanha was tender and packed with flavor. Petit Gateau de Dulce de Leche was the perfect ending to a great dinner. You won’t regret your visit here!

First time visit & did not disappoint. I would describe the food as rustic low country Brazilian fare? I don’t know, I’m not an expert but it was delicious. I loved my Bacalhau Ao Forno. We tried the cheese balls made with tapioca flour & ordered the cod croquettes also very nice. Everything else on the menu sounded amazing so we will happily return to try more. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were at Rustic 21 Bistro today, which was highly recommended by a couple of friends. The environment is undoubtedly very pleasant! We were very well received and attended to, from start to finish! The staff service is of high quality, and most importantly, they speak 3 languages ​​there (English, Spanish and Portuguese). The food is perfect!! I loved everything I ate, especially the beef rib with parmesan risotto!! We will definitely come back more often.

This place is a hidden gem, went there on a whim and it was sooooo good! Had the pork belly and Brazilian cheese bread, the pichana steak and chicken stroganoff, all delicious. Had the chocolate mousse and panna cotta and omg it was a wonderful meal. The chef even came out to get input and I just love that. Will go again!

Fantastic! Wow! That’s what all 3 of us said- wow. At each plate that came out. One was the most picky food eater I know- a native Brazilian and he loved everything. All amazing; the appetizers, entree and deserts; a perfect trifecta. Fast food service also but not rushed. And the Chef made the rounds. The reviews aren’t fake or forced- this is not one of those places that hands you an iPad at the end of the meal, soliciting reviews, etc. this is just plain real.

Fantastic. From start to finish. My husband and I came here for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and this restaurant was the perfect choice. We got the pastelzinhos and torresmo, pao de queijo and we both got the top sirloin and everything was perfect. We also didn't miss out on their delicious carrot cake either. Our waitress was SO sweet and took great care of us. She made sure we enjoyed everything she brought us. Can't wait to come back and bring more friends.

Without a doubt the best meal I've had all year. From the moment I walked in host/server Ray was an absolute delight. Kind, attentive, and patient. They made sure I was cared for beyond what I could have expected. The food is phenomenal. The pork belly was perfection and the picanha was better than I've ever had. Ray even helped correct my pronunciation of yuca. If I wasn't just in town for work this would be my go-to restaurant for nearly any occasion and you are missing out if you don't give them a try.

First of all, I was skeptical of all the ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ratings. After having a lovely dinner, I got it. I had the short ribs with Parmesan risotto for my entree but first started with the yummy pork belly and cheese bread. The dining room is small so I would suggest making a reservation (We used Resy) For dessert I had the carrot cake with chocolate icing which was wonderful.

Brazilian Restaurant and absolutely amazing! Having enjoyed many meals in São Paulo, this place is tops! I recommend everything. Sorry I don’t have any pictures to share. We were super hungry and the food was super good. We will definitely be back soon

The food was really good, the only complaint I had was that I asked for my steak to be medium rare and it was very rare. The rice was just okay but my husband loved his food and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere so it is definitely worth a visit.

Can’t say enough about this place! I can’t wait to go back to try another dish. The detail to the food is amazing. Drinks are on point services is great. From an Italian girl to say the lasagna was the best I’ve had in a long time! And I thought I made the best lol.

What a cute little bistro! Loved the vibe, and the decor, lightning, excellent service and delicious food. It was our first time here so we decided to try most of the appetizers - they were delicious and generous! The drinks were nice and the staff were very welcoming and polite. We can’t wait to come back and try out the entries next time. It will definitely be one of our go to places for a nice relaxed dinner.

My wife and I were searching through yelp, as one does, trying to find a well reviewed new place for us to eat. We stumbled across Rustic 21. At five stars with nearly 80 reviews, it peaked our curiosity. It is a Brazilian bistro located on southside Boulevard near Hogan Road off of the service road. Upon arrival, William, both server, host, and bartender promptly greeted us and guided us to a table. At the time that we arrived, there weren’t very many people in the restaurant, but the smells were amazing. We opened with traditional Brazilian cheese, bread, and crispy pork belly. Folks, when I tell you, this food was to die for, I mean it. The Brazilian cheese bread was light and cheesy, with a delightful cheese pull when tearing it apart. The crispy pork belly was, as advertised very crispy and fatty and delicious. It came with a delightful guava sauce that paired well with the saltiness with the pork belly. There, we moved into. My wife had the risotto of the week, which happened to be a beet and goat cheese, risotto. She loved it, let me try a bite, and I was instantly in love. The natural sweetness of the beats complemented by the tanginess of the go and the creaminess of the overall dish were a welcome treat. I chose the Picanha sirloin. It was served with a Brazilian style, fried rice, and yuca fries. The steak was cooked to perfection, and absolutely melted in your mouth. The yuca fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and the fried rice wasn’t absolute delight. I wrapped up the evening with a Brazilian carrot cake topped with chocolate ganache. Do not go into it thinking that you were going to have a normal American carrot cake with raisins and nuts, etc. This is completely different, it is a delicate sponge and utilizes the sweetness of the carrots for its flavor. The chocolate ganache was Rich and decadent. The size was small, but the portion was perfect. A few of the pictures, admittedly, are taken off of their website. I can confirm that all the dishes look identical to the pictures that were on their site. The service was 10 out of 10. William was attentive, but not overly chatty. He spent enough time with us to let us know that we were valued customers, but left us alone to enjoy our meal. My wife and I will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had pasteis, cheese bread and tapioca as appetizers. For entree we had lasagna, risoto with ribs, picanha and pasta al limone. Everything was absolutely delicious, really outstanding food quality. Chocolate mousse and dulce de leche petit gateau are a must. Highly recommend Rustic21 if you are a foodie :) We will be back for sure!! Thank you!

First time visit and enjoyed the food. Recommend having reservations because it's a small place that gets busy. We had a few appetizers and the pork belly was great and so was the buratta. I had the braised short ribs which was good. Our party also enjoyed the salted cod, shrimp, and chicken stroganoff. The sauces and accompaniment were unique and paired well with the entree. The dessert were varied and the carrot cake with chocolate was a particular favorite.

This is our 4th time going to Rustic. The food is absolutely fantastic. It's become our favorite restaurant in town. The dishes truly shows that the chef cares about his food and guests. Our favorite is the braised short rib and parmesan risotto, incredible! We'll see you again soon!

Had an amazing dinner this evening. Apps: burrata and the tapioca squares were both superb! Entrees: shrimp stew and the short rib with risotto. Both were absolutely incredible. Looking forward to coming back and trying different items.

I have taken many trips to Brazil, and eating here made me feel like I was back in Brazil eating. The food is amazing and each thing we tried was absolutely delicious. The service was also wonderful. The chef even comes out to check on you and I love that personal touch. I can’t wait to eat here again. I highly recommend the Picanha Top Sirloin and the caipiroskas! Then the Petit Gateau De Dulce De Leche was a great way to finish the night.

Smaller restaurant on the southside. Unique menu with good flavors. Our server was not very attentive and didn’t seem to be too interested in our table. I feel if we had proper service the experience would have been more enjoyable. If you go with a group and an open mind you will enjoy.

I was pleasantly surprised with a nice relaxing evening at 21 Bistro. The service was excellent and was very helpful addressing any questions or concerns we had being mostly unfamiliar with Brazilian food. The presentation was tasteful and minimalistic, not over the top. The atmosphere rode the fine line of being a place you could have a comfortable date enjoying nice cuisine or enjoying food. The appetizers we tried the cheese bread and the pork belly (I apologize for not knowing the actual name) were excellent. The pork belly had a perfect crispy bite, filled with melt in your mouth tender pork. The drinks were exceptionally cold whether a soda, wine, beer or cocktail and that I have been told is the cultural norm for Brazilian. When our entrees came the Picanha and the Feijoda we were impressed with the size of the portions and the quality. The chef happy to see us enjoying the food asked for our input and explained how we heighted the experience for the Feijoda. I will say the addition of the bitter gourd was not expected but very much one of the highlights of that amazing stew! My only complaint is that I only have one stomach. We will definitely be back!

So I loved the atmosphere. The apps were the best thing. Entrees ok. The service was the low point. He was not attentive. Until...one of my Spanish speaking friends arrived, then he was all in. Oh the drinks, let's just say there was more ice than alcohol and the glasses were not full. And after reading the reviews, it appears that management only responds to positive reviews. I guess there is no effort to improve service, or at least apologize.
