Highly recommended. Great service and food.

Best meal we’ve had in a long time! Service was impeccable. Seafood was fresh, wonderfully prepared and carefully plated. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The mixed drinks were too sweet, but everything else was great.

Excellent food and service. I've been a long time resident in the area and never went to eat here until being invited to a celebration dinner. I will definitely come back as this is a great place for fine food.

Food lacked flavor. The service was terrible. They have a high chair but they don't have a diaper changing pad. We walked in with our 7mos old baby and the manager looks displeased. Meanwhile our baby was very well behaved. The waiter didn't even come up to us, to ask how was the food. Will not go back there again!! Might as well cook my own paella at home.

Elitio, the waiter, was amazing along with the rest of the staff! We went for my mom’s 70th. We loved the rice, NY strip steak, fried shrimp, kabobs and stuffed lobster. It was a change from the same old same old. The margaritas were strong and tasty. I was happy with the atmosphere too. A little outdated but so clean!!!! We all would come back!

Mediocre food, weak drinks, poor service and a tired decor, it is terrible. You will be happier if you stay home and cook yourself a pork chop or chicken with some rice. This restaurant exists because it is the only place for miles. If you want real Spanish or Portuguese restaurant quality food take the drive to Newark, you will be much happier that you did. The picture attached to this review is the service station that we were seated next to for our dinner, I think they could have at least done a better job of seating.

Food was delicious.. Had the paella to go this time..

I was so looking forward to our first time here after the incredible reviews I had read. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect same. The paellas which my husband and I both ordered were lackluster at best. We truly could not taste any type of seasoning in them including the rice be it saffron, paprika, salt, etc usually found in a paella. The rice contained no taste and appeared to not even be cooked with that nice crust usually found in paella as well as close to any kind of flavorful. The most disappointing part, however, was the fish. The shrimp and scallops were so tiny and gave the appearance and taste of being frozen not beautiful, large, fresh seafood found normally in paellas. The mussels and clams barely contained pieces you could even taste they were so small and again nothing tasted seasoned.The lobster was rubbery and dry as was the chicken in my husband's. The other piece of lobster shell actually contained no meat and I'm thinking it was put on the plate for show. The quality of the seafood as well as the seasonings must improve. I'm hoping this experience was a fluke but because of it we will definitely not return. For the prices, a lot better quality was expected and to be quite honest, we have made better paella at home. I will say the service and waiter we had was great though and I apologize for forgetting his name. Sorry but I'm being honest. Very disappointing.

I had the pleasure to share with my family, my granddaughter’s First Communion party last week at Spain 2. The food was exemplary and delicious. Everything from the bread and appetizers to full course meal was cooked to perfection and delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant and servers were right on top of everything. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was warm, welcoming and very pleasant. I highly recommend Spain 2 if you’re just looking for a great lunch, dinner or for a party.

Have been passing this place for months and have been wanting to try it. Portions are great, prompt service staff very attentive and friendly to all the customers. A lot of people celebrating birthday’s. Atmosphere and decor were great as well. Now for the food review. I would highly recommend this restaurant appetizers of shrimp in garlic sauce the sauce had a little kick to it down side is that the staff took the bread away before the appetizers came out so I had to ask for bread to soak up that delicious garlic sauce oh and the bread that they brought to the table was nice and hot and came with oil with garlic and tasted and smelled great. I had the special of filet medallions wrapped in bacon medium rare in a brown mushroom gravy and my other half had the jumbo shrimp in lemon garlic sauce both dishes were outstanding. Had to make room for dessert and again was not disappointed at all flan as well as triple chocolate. Will be back for sure multiple times and will be bringing others as well

I'm a Spaniard, and yes, the food is authentic. You don't need to fly to Madrid or Valencia for various iterations of paella and plentiful seafood dishes.

Excessive portions at a good price for the amount of food and while cooked well the seasoning was almost non existent. I'd recommend going with something other than the pork or chicken if you decide to eat here.

We celebrated my father's 75th birthday with family on 12/29. Spain Inn was wonderful accommodating our group of 16. The service was outstanding and the food was fabulous! Everyone had a great time and raved about how wonderful everything was! Thank you, Spain Inn!

This is a place with a nice atmosphere and excellent service, but for the price, I was expecting more from the kitchen. We were greeted by the whole team who worked there tonight, which was very nice. Everyone was so attentive! Our drinks and appetizers arrived very quickly. They have excellent wine selection! Seafood stuffed mushrooms were pretty good. For the entrée we chose Marascada salsa verde for two, which was recommended by the waiter. To our disappointment, the seafood dish was just mediocre. It was loaded with fresh scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and lobster, but the sauce was lacking flavor. It was very starchy and bland. It was not even green ( look at the photo) We loved the ice cream truffle and Portuguese coffee.

Went for dinner my sixth birthday myself and the rest of my family poor service not just that power went twice even before they started serving dinner place was busy finally they brought the food no back up generator people were eating on the emergency lights food was uncooked just a reminder were on year 2024 nothing changed or updated as far as back i can remember 20 years ago even lights still the same bright up a little i like to know what I’m eating

Excellent meal last night. The clams casino were great and my Ahi tuna entree was cooked perfectly. The staff was exceptionally patient and kind, as my friend showed up an hour late (he got lost). Excellent martinis, too. Although the acoustics contribute to a noisy room and the tables are a little close, I gave 5 stars to atmosphere because all the customers seemed very happy and it was contagious. At least 3 birthdays were celebrated.

This place is amazing. Food was absolutely delicious. Our not only was our server amazing the rest of the staff as well. Met the owner also.

Terrible choice for a birthday dinner, we left so displeased. The servers hovered over our table the entire time to the point it was so uncomfortable. We had to ask them to give us space because 4-5 servers and helpers were staring at us as we ate, they removed plates before we were done, and even didn’t let us use an appetizer plate for the bread. The effort to provide good service was there but it was just a bad experience, it was overbearing and we couldn’t wait to leave after we ate. It’s a shame because the food was good. We’ve been to Spanish restaurants like this where the service is seamless and above and beyond. This was not that; it was really bad. Didn’t even stay for dessert because we were ready to leave.

The experience I had with my family was very unpleasant due to the overwhelming hovering of the staff. I understand they were trying to provide good service but it became so unpleasant and so uncomfortable because the servers and assistants were staring us down, removing our plates before we were done, and we just did not feel like we could breathe. I had to tell one of the waiters to back up because he was reaching over my wife so much she was uncomfortable. We came for a birthday dinner and didn’t even get dessert because we were trying to get out of there. It’s a shame because the food was great but I would not return.

Very disappointed in the food.red sangria was awful , Clams Casino was all breadcrumbs with a slab of fat instead of bacon, Mariscada iwith brandy and wine sauce had no taste at all. What a waste of time and a lot of money.

This restaurant has the best service staff I’ve ever experienced. You can tell someone has professionally trained them in hospitality. Whatever program they do here is noticeable because everyone from the greeter, servers, bus people and managers were completely aligned in their appearance, duties and performance. The food, drink and desert was excellent. Can’t wait to go back again, this is our new favorite place!

The food and service were excellent! Our waiter and the rest of the staff were fabulous. Everything was fresh, and the restaurant was spotless. The only issue we had was that it was very loud in the restaurant and we had trouble hearing each other. We had an amazing meal and we will definitely be back!

Perfection from the start! Tasty bread and oil - best Sangria to the entrees of Shish Kabobs (too yummy) and the stuffed Tilipia. Made room for desserts of Flan (perfecto) and the carrot cake!! Then the almond liquor at the end - walked away completely satisfied and sad we hadn't gone here sooner!!

Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Any special occasion we head to the Spain inn II. The food is out of this world and will have you coming back, but the service is unmatched you want for nothing. From the owners and all of the staff always make you feel at home.

If I could give Spain Inn 2 ten stars I would. Food is great and the service is excellent. Our waiter Dan was awesome. Food came out in time and was done to perfection. The staff is so friendly and accomodating. Every restaurant should operate like this one. We have eaten here many times and we were never disappointed....and its only a seven minute drive from our house.

Excellent service. The garlic soup was terrific. Sangria was on point. Celebrating my wife's birthday, they came out with ice cream with a lit candle. It was a nice experience.

We tried Spain Inn 2 for the first time. The entire experience was amazing! The staff were attentive, and very nice. The food was beyond AMAZING. the portions were generous. I highly recommend this restaurant. And we will for certain go again!

Tired and dumpy, a throwback to the sixties, and not in a good way. We just stopped by for a drink after antiquing. Several servers ate at the bar, and the food looked awful; pale gray meats with heavy-looking sauces, and over-boiled vegetables (by appearance). Service was prompt, though stiff, and unfriendly. There was nothing to make us want more or to return.

The experience here is alway amazing - we had a late dinner here and the staff went out of the way to make sure we didn’t feel like we were overstaying. The food was absolutely killer as always. The sangria here is also a little too easy to drink. Definitely recommend eating here. Original review from 2021 “Food and service were amazing. Food is always excellent here. Classic Spanish/Portuguese atmosphere, consistent amazing food and service! We travel over an hour to enjoy this great restaurant and will continue to do so.

Simply Superb restaurant. The meal exceeded my expectations. Started with the Berejena Rellena, eggplant stuffed with crabmeat appetizer. ¡Muy Bueno! Then, we ordered the Paella Marinara, a combination of fresh lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, and scallops cooked in saffron rice. Chilean Seabass, Seared and served with jumbo shrimp, clams & mussels in tomato, brandy & Spanish sherry with a touch of fresh garlic. Sword Fish with fried shrimp, greenbeans w carrots. Excellent meal worth every cent. Everything was delicioso! The staff was exceptional and our waiter knew the full menu and specials of the evening. For dessert we ordered the Flan, Coconut sorbet, and the Tuxedo Bombe. I can not wait to go back.

This place has everything you need! Great food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere. You can go wrong for date night a lunch meeting or a family event. You need to have the sangria.. yum! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent food and service! The portions are generous and they don't rush you out at all! Plus there are multiple servers who don't hover but tend to all of your needs at your convenience. We love it here - casual or business casual apparel is completely acceptable.

Staff are excellent, very knowledgeable polite and attentive. The food is legendary…especially the octopus salad. By far the BEST Spanish food outside of NYC, nothing is even close. You cannot miss with anything on the menu but I must recommend the Mariscada Verde…glorious!

I am sorry but the food is disgusting. This is not Paella what they serve. Their so called Spainard European food is nothing but a chef learning how to cook it. On top of that ..pricey menu for distasteful awful unappealing food. What a disservice to what food cuisine from Spain 🇪🇸 really taste likes. Please think twice to spend for poor quality of the food.

Great place for special events or just a fun night out. We had dinner on Easter Sunday and expected that the food and service would suffer from the holiday rush syndrome. It did not. We were seated by the delightful Emily at a comfortable table, since I wear prosthetics. The waiter was both fast and efficient throughout the meal. I had the chorizo and the stuffed tilapia and Linda had the lobster shrimp dish. They were both delicious, as we had come to expect from from this, one of our favorite restaurants. What a wonderful place to enjoy an evening!

It was amazing my friend and I are truckers. We went in to eat dinner, of course, but we were not dressed up to par for a such a fancy restaurant. The waiter treated us so kindly, and like we were welcome I didn’t really get his name, but he was very sweet and I appreciate that. Thank you 😊

One star for service and one more for the gazpacho which was very tasty. The main courses were underseasoned. My husband's green sauce was watery and tasteless. My duck was inedible. It was cut up into pieces and drowned in a very sweet sticky sauce. Don't offer it if you don't know how to cook it. Spanish potatoes which are usually yummy were served cold with no seasoning. Did the chef lose the salt shaker? The end of this sad tale was my husband being charged for a second soda. It was offered and he said yes expecting a refill. $ 2.50 for a glass of ginger ale was a rip-off. Service was excellent. We are not going back.

Went here with my husband’s family for dinner and it was excellent! Great service. The lobster dinner was delicious and they have a great dessert selection. I wanted to order everything they had but had to choose just one, which was very yummy.

Top notch service! We were there on a busy Friday night. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. There was loud consistant beeping sound that went on for at least a half hour and it was hard to ignore. Atmosphere was much more relaxed when that noise stopped. Food was authentic Spanish fare, delicious and served in a reasonable amount of time considering the amount of people. Plenty of seating in a meanandering kind of layout. I would recommend the bacon wrapped filet mignonon and the langostines. My husband tried the Sangria which was good maybe a little strong on the alcohol. Would go again!
