Me and my family went to eat dinner after church. This place was nothing but amazing other than my steak being a little salty I was able to get some broccoli from my mom’s plate because it was unseasoned but everything worked out in my favor it was delicious from the apple alamoude, strawberry lemonade, and the stripped steak. Also let me just add the rolls where delicious all they need is some cinnamon sugar butter and it would be close and maybe even better than Texas Roadhouse. And their wings where amazing so crispy and juicy it was a good idea we got the sauce on the side. The server was superb and very accommodating when it came to answering any questions. The only reason I didn’t take pictures was because of the fun times, the delicious meal, and the entertainment.

This is a true Newberry gem! It was my first time visiting the restaurant. Our group was greeted promptly and warmly; everyone we interacted with was truly welcoming and nice. I wish I could remember the name of our waitress - she is blonde with clear eyeglasses and she was such a delight. She was attentive and cordial and dealt with our requests in an easygoing fashion. Our food came out so quickly and it was delicious. I can't believe I haven't been here before - but it will definitely not be my last time. Good people and a well-run business deserves to be shout out!

Nice place to go when in Newberry. Service was great, food was good & restaurant clean. We sat on the bar side high tops & I believe our server/bartender was Luis...great guy...makes you feel special & is very accommodating.

A friend of mine and I went for an intense conversation and lunch. Our server, Jolie, was the right amount of attentive and not around. We were able to both enjoy our food, have the time and space to have the conversation, and did not want for anything. Went for a family lunch. Hailey, our server, was wonderful. And the kitchen created a masterpiece with the deconstructed Ruben.

Never had A bad meal. Try the fired pickles and mushroom!

Food has went down since opening, the onion straws are not the same, just not as much quality time put into things. Service is fantastic, we go as a family ofter. Waiters remember us and things we get. Food is still good but was better.

Love Stonehouse!! From our appetizers (Loaded Fries and Onion Strings) to our meals (Rib Eye, Ribs, tenders, The Hoss Burger, French onion soup and Mahi) the food was stellar. Portions were extremely generous. Their signature margarita was just right! Our waitress was super friendly. 10/10!

Great food in the middle of no where.

Was at a Softball tournament right next to here. Guy next to me ordered take out and was raving about it. Then another ate there between games. Also said it was good. We decided to give it a try. The cooks here must be well trained. Our group ordered everything from Salmon, prime rib, chicken, burgers, etc. All were excellent!! The fried mushrooms were very good. Loaded fries in their homemade ranch amazing. They had fried pickles looked great. I had the Cajun burger with Fried jalapeños it was awesome. Everything was great. This is a gem. Depending on what you order they can turn it around quickly. Our waitress was attentive and gave great suggestions. Great service is not the norm anymore. The service was outstanding. I wish you could do an app that includes fried mushrooms, pickles, and jalapeños. That would have been great. The chicken club was done on a Gluten free bun.

Had to go to kitchen to ask if we were supposed to seat ourselves as there was no hostess. Food was warm, not hot. Mashed potato's wouldn't even melt the butter. Steak was bland. This is my second and last visit here.

It was my family’s first but not last visit! The atmosphere was very inviting, the service was excellent(Lexi) so accommodating to us thank you! The food was excellent we had Parmesan peppercorn chicken, brisket bowls, brisket, country fried steak,mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, smashed burger, fries and that delectable carrot cake no complaints on anything will continue to make that trip from Gainesville!

My wife and I love this place. This is the 2nd time eating their. For a restaurant who just opened. The Kitchen and servers Are like a well Oiled machine. The food is excellent. The Atmosphere is amazing. So glad Newberry has their own steakhouse now. Can't wait for Friday in saturdy night when they have live entertainment.

It was Father's Day. It was late, not busy at all but, I could tell our waitress was tired and ready to go home. Probably the worst waitress I've had in a very long time. Meanwhile the table next to use seemed to have the best waitress ever. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I love the little village vibe and would love to live in one of the apartment upstairs. I only wish we lived closer. We drove an hr just to go their.

Stonehouse has amazing customer service and outstanding attention to cleanliness. We throughly enjoy dining in at Stonehouse in Newberry. We personally like the loaded cheese fries, brisket tots, chicken wings, and the crunchy cajun shrimp. The chicken tenders tossed in honey hot or BBQ bacon rum glaze are our favorite meal to get along with tots, brocolli, carrots, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes (only served in the evenings). The smash burger is one of the BEST burgers around!! (Thanks Tracy for recommending) The portions are big enough to take home leftovers which are always a plus! The waitresses are the best around and a big part of the reason why we choose Stonehouse weekly and while we never get a chance to see the cook staff we get served amazing food week after week. Great Job EVERYONE!! Alisha & Jed thank you for your friendly faces and always being friendly to us as well as the staff. Thank you Stonehouse for an amazing place to spend time with family while making us all feel right at home.

Took my son here after a baseball game. Hailey was our server and gave us excellent service and ensured our drinks were full and plates were cleared. We got the brisket tots, grilled chicken salad, and kids bacon burger sliders all the food was hot fresh and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in town.

The staff is super friendly and very attentive. Brisket tots is a great starter, the smash burger is my new favorite and who can't say no to a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Best restaurant in Newberry hands down. Can't wait to go back!

The service has always been great and love the atmosphere. But speaking, truthfully, I have never had a good steak there. Pay almost $30 for a ribeye steak which is extremely thin and chewy. This has been my experience the last two visits. Don’t know if I will be back again. Do something about your steaks…they are so disappointing. You are in a area that needs a good steakhouse but your steaks are definitely lacking. Paid $30 for a ribeye. It was similar to a strip steak. Very disappointing. I do not come there for the happy hour experience we come for a good meal. Your steaks are not up to par. It was actually the most pathetic ribeye I have ever had..do better.

I really liked this place and I thought the prices were super reasonable considering the restaurant is pretty nice and the portion size was really good. My boyfriend and I got sat right away. He ordered the Reuben and I ordered the chicken bacon ranch. We both really enjoyed our food. My wrap had lots of toppings and was super big I had to get a takeout box. We also both really liked the fried. As for the service, our waitress was nice and attentive. It didn’t take too long to get our food. I also really like the atmosphere of the restaurant and it is pretty nice and clean.

The waitress was bringing my wife a sweet tea and dropped it pouring all over the table and my wife’s shirt and pants. The waitress was very apologetic to this happening, and quickly cleaned the table and got another tea. We NEVER heard from a Manager or seen one come to the table. I paid the full price for our meals. We will NEVER return.

I recently had dinner at Stonehouse Neighborhood Grill with my family and overall, it was a good experience with some tasty dishes. I started with the fried mushrooms, which were absolutely perfect (5/5). I also tried the blueberry mojito, which was alright, but nothing special (3/5). The filet, however, was almost perfect—cooked just right and really flavorful (4.5/5). We did run into a few issues, though. My mom’s burger didn’t come out right—it was missing tomatoes and onions, which she had asked for, and it had pickles even though she asked for none. My mashed potatoes were supposed to be loaded but came out plain, and they still charged us for the loaded version. We didn’t have time to get these fixed because we had to be somewhere else. Despite these mix-ups, the service was pretty good. The staff was attentive, polite, and seemed really on top of things, which makes me think it was the kitchen’s mistake, not the servers’. So, while there were a couple of mistakes with our order, the food that was right was really good, and the staff did their best. I’d go back, but maybe I’d make sure there’s enough time to sort out any issues if they come up again.

I give this place two and a half stars because they give it zero stars for consistency and good quality of ingredients and I give it five stars for their ambiance and the service. I've given them three chances cuz I've been there three times to make me happy and the last time I was there I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and I was supposed to get 6 oz of lobster meat in the macaroni and it wasn't even a fraction of that. One more soul of lobster may have been real and all of the other little bits in there I think we're fake frankly without doing a DNA test on the actual Meats I couldn't tell but there you go the flavor just wasn't there and neither was the texture of the lobster except for that one bite. My friend the first time we went there and delivered a cold steak. How do you cook a steak and then make it cold when you bring it out to the customer? He was very discouraged and he hasn't been back there with me anyway since I tried to go back to get a good fish dinner and I couldn't do that. The owner is building a new fancy Mexican restaurant in the same Plaza and I would suggest to him to quit working on that project and get his house in order in regard to his other restaurant or restaurants. Once he nails that down then he can open a new restaurant

I got the Rib eye it was tough, My husband got the filet and It didn't look like a filet, it was tough also. Complained about it he sent back the filet didn't even get know kind of discount paid $80 on that.

I honestly cannot think of anything critical to say about Stonehouse, this is my family's favorite restaurant. They have a variety of food options, the friendliest servers and staff, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And I love that they always try new things on the menu, but still keep it consistent.

Read most of the reviews across the media and I must write that our meal late afternoon was faultless. The French onion soup was spot on as with our fried mushrooms and salads. My first time eating red fish with garlic mashed potatoes (recommended by our first rate server) with broccoli perfectly cooked. All in all a most enjoyable experience with a first class server that made the whole meal a delight. (Kayla). A rarity these days! A highly recommended spot which will be one of our favorites. Our sixth meal today 3/2/2024, the meal once again was great Red Fish mashed potatoes broccoli perfectly cooked, my wife’s jalapeño burger was unexpectedly delicious. Our now ‘go to restaurant about 40 minutes away for our friends and just us for a quick gratifying meal!

The Ruben sandwich was super good, awesome best I have had in the area. Sweet potato fries where hot and freshly made. Topped off with the desert of fried cheese cake,which was the best i have ever had. This is a new place to go restaurant .

Our server Kayla was attentive and very welcoming. We never had an empty drink and empty plates never stayed long on our table. The food was SO good! I think there French Onion was one of the best ones we have ever had, so flavorful. I got the Shepherds pie bowl and the portion was huge! The taste was great and hit the spot that comfort food should. My husband really enjoyed his chopped steak. Oh and the rolls were wonderful, nice and hot. This was our first time here and we can’t wait to come back and try the other options on the well thought out menu!

My wife and I have visited this establishment on multiple occasions, with our first experience being the worst. This time was not our first. Stone House has greatly improved on the quality of their food and is now lacking in the service aspect. My wife usually gets sides of some type because that is what she likes to eat. Somehow, it was deemed okay to bring my wife's order out almost immediately while I waited almost 20 minutes for my meal to arrive. Now it may have been fun for me to ask my wife how the food was and go over how different items were prepared this only annoyed her that I was not eating and just waiting for the food to arrive. After she waited for me to finish, she ordered a banana foster. After waiting for 15 minutes (which is not a problem), the ice cream was almost completely melted, and the bananas barely warm. I am guessing people must not order dessert that often, and ours sat waiting patiently to be sent to our table. I'm glad we have local establishments to dine in, and I wish Stone House the best.

Bri is a rockstar! Above par, outstanding service and delicious food! This restaurant doesn't take reservations... that being said...I called the evening before to see if they accommodate my large family group the following day, the hostess Bri asked what time we would arrive, said she was working the next day and consider it taken care of. When we showed up she had our 12 top ready to go and was extremely accommodating to our family. She even helped us take a few family pictures before we left. Our server was on top of her game as well and did a great job taking care of us. The food was so delicious and no one in my high maintenance family of 12 had a single complaint. Thank you for making our family visit really special!

Welp, I’da given Stone House Neighborhood Grill five stars based on my recent visit for Sunday brunch, but after lunch today -$19.00+ - my review has dropped to only four stars. On the positive side, for both visits we had stellar servers and I commend Stone House for encouraging that. The building is nice and it’s similar to your average grill inside. On the negative side, the Mahi Mahi fish tacos I had were downright cold, like sat out in the AC for 30 minutes cold, and the soft shells were stiff and dry at the top. Honestly, just not good all round. The fries, which were quite tasty, were marginally warm themselves (I’da said they were cold but they weren’t in comparison to the tacos). Bottom line? I’ll give them another try and see…

Great place, absolutely love the food. We have been attending their establishment since they opened before all the new apartments in front of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the new apartments take from the experience, causing a sort of claustrophobic inducing experience

An oasis at the edge of town and in a developing neighborhood. Good food, service is good but was a bit slow for lunch (not crowded) on this visit.

We ordered the ribs dry rub, with baked beans and fries. Also, the parmesan peppercorn chicken with green beans and baked beans. Ribs were tasty and tender, fries crispy, baked beans were very good. The green beans were good and the chicken tasted good, but parts of it were a little dry. We would go back.

Went their for lunch , my 2nd time there and my lady and I had a great time. It was delicious. The food is always tender and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys restaurants with good food,service and atmosphere!

Place was busy with sports teams but we got a seat at the bar. Service and food was excellent. Great wings, steak burger, sliders and brisket / cheese sammie. Will definitely be back!

Ordered some burgers to go for my grandmother’s 91st birthday. The sliders were not cooked enough and the sweet potato fries were well over done, in fact they were black. Very disappointed in our food tonight.
