Food was really great, outdoor space was good to have but the views were limited and overlooked 2 parking lots. The staff was really nice and accomodating.

Incredible food! Everything is made from scratch, and it shows. My server Sean was so sweet & complimentary. The food comes out hot & fast, and the beer selection is top notch, even for a picky hop-head like myself. I got the short rib rigatoni, and the lady got the mussels. We would've ordered seconds if we had room for it! The owner, Linda, checked in on my girlfriend & I. She seemed very dedicated to the hospitality experience. Welcoming, cozy, and tasty eats. We will be back to check out live music on The Hill!

Great food and the staff is THE best.

Stumbled upon this spot on a mountain drive and literally u-turned to come eat here. I’m still sitting at the outdoor portion watching live music. The mussels are AMAZING. The short rib rigatoni is incredible. The truffled pot roast was really good just needed a touch of salt. Atmosphere is great! So glad we stopped to grab a bite!

We were just driving by as we left our hike. The lights caught our eyes as we drove by. We decided we were hungry and doubled back. To our delight the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Very outdoorsy feel. The wafting smells from other tables met our nose with delight. We decided on the mussels, the truffle pot roast, and the short rib meat Rigatoni. Every bite was met with satisfaction. We come to this area annually. We are adding this to our yearly trip undoubtedly!!!

I was already at this restaurant multiple times, the steak is amazing! The atmosphere in the place is very nice, highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed. Extremely overpriced. Ordered a Grilled Chicken caprese sandwich, my husband and I both did. Neither came with chicken, which we had ordered it with. When I asked where it was I was told if I wanted they could bring us a piece of Grilled chicken and we could put it on the sandwich ourselves but it would be an additional $8 per piece. The sandwich without any chicken was $18!!!! So it would have been $26 for a Grilled chicken caprese sandwich. The items that were on the sandwich weren't of great quality. We had a huge party for a birthday on a $380 they charged a $20 ( $2 pp) plate charge to cut small slices and put them on the plate because we brought a cake with us, which we were never advised of when we got there a side ceasar salad was $10! Extremely over priced and we will not be going back again. Beware of the menu and prices. Not priced well for the area where it's located!

Food was disappointing. The chicken statler breast was overcooked - tasted like leather. The sauce was delicious, but not enough of it to truly enjoy. Portions are relatively small. Not a problem if the food is well prepared and tasty, but not the case for us. Dessert was a flourless chocolate torte, which was very good, but again the portion was tiny, a sliver. Service was adequate, but slow and not as attentive as one would like. May try the establishment again, but it did not put its best foot forward this evening.

Great food, pricey menu, friendly but slow service. If you're not on a time crunch, this is a great place to eat. Both my husband and I had the Stone House Burger, and it was awesome. (But for a $21 burger, it should be a religious experience.) This was an actual, handmade thick patty that was done right, juicy and delicious. And even better, it was served on an actual roll that didn't disintegrate around a juicy burger, so very impressed. Our waitress was very friendly and sweet, but her manager had her waiting too many tables, causing the service to be lacking to no fault of her own. Plus, the bartender had bottle beer on the menu he didn't know about and had to go on a hunt for, then couldn't locate. Someone dropped the ball on liquor inventory and training. Sounds like this restaurant has a Manager issue that needs addressing. Kudos to the chef, though. Nailed it!

We are halfway through our Hudson River trip and after several not so great meals we found this place…just terrific! We drove almost an hour to get there, I had chop chop salad w salmon and my husband had short rib rigatoni. Both delicious meals, tip top service, loved that the owner Linda was onsite and checking in with guests, she was also clearing tables and getting drinks…there’s a great display of commitment in the success of your business. Key lime pie was delightful, flavors bright! Would def go back.

I had the beef and pork Bolognese which was very good. My wife had the chicken sandwich which was average. Great environment and the staff was friendly.

The Disco fries are out of this world!! Food was great and the staff was so friendly! They even have paintings on the wall that you can buy. Very awesome place and we will definitely come back!

I stumbled upon this charming tavern in Accord, NY, after a hike in Minnewaska State Park, and it turned out to be a delightful find. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the entire restaurant is spotlessly clean. Upon entering, you're greeted by a well-stocked bar offering a variety of drinks and cocktails. It was clear that this place is popular with locals, as the bar area was lively and inviting. For our meal, we tried the shredded beef brisket sandwich, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful. The Caesar salad was a refreshing complement to the sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. However, the standout dish for me was the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich—it was simply outstanding. One of the things that stood out was that all the food was made to order, ensuring freshness. I loved the overall vibe of the place, and the food was top-notch. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

We ate in the bar dining area. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is so fresh and well made. The menu is diverse and interesting. Appreciate the home made items especially the pistachio ice cream!! Great friendly service.

Amazing Gem! Food was delicious, very beautiful rustic venue. We are just passing through, headed home to New England for the summer, we are here for two nights, will be back again tomorrow for dinner. Loved everything!

Went for the first time this past Saturday. They take reservations and it was a good idea to make them. Food and service was phenomenal! I've been recommending it to friends and can't wait to go back again. Try the blueberry wings!

Delicious food and great entertainment

The Stone House Tavern is incredible! It is obvious they take great pride in food, drinks and service. We've been there a few times and it never disappoints whether it is a burger or a full meal. We were with friends recently and both my husband and our friend called their burgers "epic" :) Our server was friendly and professional and we had a great time. It sure is nice to be greeted with a smile!

Amazing food and service. They overcooked my steak to a grey hockey puck and it was still good as it has a Demi glaze …. I they need to work on their steak temperature but everything else was great.

Got the chicken sandwich and loved it. Only reason it’s 4 stars is because there was confusion with the drinks but other than that great service and really good food. Got a few desserts and they were all pretty good especially the Creme brûlée.

After Thanksgiving, my wife & I needed a strategic overnight spot between Catskill & Port Jervis. Voila! Stone House not only allowed our Class B RV to stay over in their back lot, but their food, service, and personal welcome (owners Linda & Al), were unmatched. "Cozy & intimate" is an understatement - as is "well-presented & delicious." Would be challenging to recommend more highly.

Stop by on a Saturday afternoon.We ordered the steak sandwich & brisket sandwich..Both were AMAZING!!Service was Great!Sitting by the warm fireplace the ambiance was perfect! GO & Treat Yourselves!!

Came for lunch and had a great experience! Servers are very friendly and food is delicious. Everything tasted really fresh, even the side salads that come with the sandwiches were great.

This place has great food and cocktails and it's especially fun to eat in their outdoor area up the hill. The bolognese entree had perfectly cooked pasta with spicy Italian sausage and a solidly-spice ragù. I also had their seasonal pumpkin cocktail and roasted brusselsprouts, both of which were delicious. However, someone else got the fried chicken sandwich, which wasn't as impressive. It had only a thin piece of chicken and the breading wasn't too impressive. Nonetheless, I'd definitely come back here again.

Highly recommend. The owners are passionate about this establishment and it shows. We camped on their lot (Harvest Host) and had a blast. The outdoor seating and the cozy inside are top notch. The food and drink were delicious and a great value. We look forward to our return!

Last night my husband and I stayed " up on the hill" as a Harvest Host guest. Let us tell you how impressed we felt as soon as we parked our RV, the owners greeted us like family. They went above and beyond to welcome us inside the bar area and chatted with us asking questions about RV living and where we came from to where are going. Josh made wonderful cocktails and the other staff just made us feel so welcomed. We did have a wonderful dining experience with ( in my opinion) 5 star Michelin food. I had their salmon and my husband had the chicken. Our waitress, which I'm sorry I forgot her name, was so genuine and accommodating. After dinner they had live music which was so pleasant and again....the staff was so attentive and paid attention to detail to our every whim. We met our fellow RV neighbor and chatted with them listening to music, sharing wine and enjoying the fire pit. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for a memorable stay.

What a gem! We stayed in their rear parking lot as a Harvest Host guest and I had my staff meet me here for dinner. Everyone had a great time and we got to enjoy some wine outside while the kids slept in the RV. Perfect stop on a big road trip! RVer’s passing through, this is a worth while stop.

A fantastic find, great food! My daughter and I were in the area for a day trip and decided to try Stone HouseTavern for lunch. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt in a cozy, casual atmosphere. We had the tofu Buffalo wings (yum!), butternut squash soup, beet salad with Salmon, and balsamic fig cheese cake for dessert. There is something for everyone on the menu. I am really glad we found it.

Nice Place,Great Atmosphere, good food and friendly service

My family and I had a belated birthday dinner for me there recently and everything was absolutely delightful. The crab cakes and eggplant croquettes appetizers were yummy, as well as an assortment of entrees, including truffled pot roast! A bottle of sparkling rose and an almond butter tart and a creme brulee topped off our meal. Perfect!

Ordered take out. It was over priced, the food was absolutely horrible. We paid $17 for 8 pieces of tough calamari. The cheeseburger was descent but they forgot the side sauce we ordered. The sodas were absolutely flat, not a single bubble in any of them. The portions of salmon and chicken with our orders were quite small for the price and the salad my friend got came with absolutely no dressing. Very disappointed overall.

My wife and I went here on a whim and loved everything. I had the pulled pork panini that was accompanied with local homemade pickles that were out of this world. My wife had the brisket quesadilla which was very flavorful, lean and a very nice portion I might add. Overall atmosphere was very pleasant and our server was very attentive and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

On a Tuesday night in August - when no other restaurants were open - we tried the Stone House Tavern. It was excellent. We shared the Fried Brussels Sprouts, Eggplant Croquettes, Blackened Shrimp Tacos and Pulled Pork Panini from the regular menu. We had the Peaches and Burratta Salad from the specials menu. All were really really good. Service was really good. Atmosphere was good too. We're glad everyone else was closed for the evening. We will go back to the Stone House Tavern again.

Great food and kind staff, accomodating of my food allergies. The truffled pot roast was phenomenal with tricolor carrots and tender meat cooked to perfection.

Had dinner here with family and a friend. We had an overall positive experience. The food was really good but I give it four stars because my wife’s steak was overdone as were my kid’s chicken tenders. They enjoyed it, nevertheless. I had the chicken with mashed potatoes, sausage and peppers. It was excellent. The atmosphere is rustic and homey but a bit noisy. The service was excellent. Our host and owner , Linda, is friendly and gracious. When we walked in with our young children she went out of her way to get us seated quickly, on a busy night, without a reservation. Our server, Sean, was great. Very professional and personable. His warm hospitality added to the experience. I highly recommend

Clean Friendly Atmosphere. Waiter did not introduce himself. But over all great job. We had the Calamari appetizer, very nice. Then the Filet. Very tender. Vegetables and Fingerling potatoes. Nicely roasted. Great Cocktails. Our guest Had the Sliders. Very yummy. In addition to a very nice dinner. They had Live music. Nothing over powering. I will go back again.

Had a Graduation Dinner there for our Grand Daughter. Very nice.

We had such a great time at the tavern last night. The food was excellent and we had a lot of fun listening to some live music. We’ll definitely be back!
