Family Friendly - A+++++ Wow! Great place for kids. I swear - we ordered and food to the table in less than 10min! All kinds of awesome options that accommodated all 3 kids. And then some good grown up food for the adults. Great attentive service. We are west coasters - so eating breakfast at 1pm was NOT a problem!! TV playing content for families (cat videos and top 10 dangerous stunts?). Huge drinks. Comfy seats. Awesome neighborhood.

Took a visit here when I was on holiday and it did not disappoint. Dan’s breakfast sandwich was delicious. Will definitely be keeping SurfSide diner in mind when I come back!

Need to update "summer hours" on google to reflect they are closed on Monday. Not a huge deal just a bit unprofessional not to have known that prior to walking there.

Cute spot in a trendy neighborhood! I ordered the classic egg breakfast with potatoes and everything was cooked to perfection. They also offered gluten-free toast, which I loved!

The service and atmosphere were the highlights of my first and last experience here. I ordered the Florentine Benedict and it was borderline inedible. Flavorless and room temperature, nearly cold. The home fries were 100% garbage. They were cold, dry, flavorless. Salt and pepper couldn’t save them. Ketchup couldn’t save them. I wouldn’t feed them to my pet. Very disappointing. I have no idea how this place is even in business.

Great food and ample portion sizes. A bit pricey, but it is palm beach so what do you expect. I feel bad for the waitress who was working there. It looked like she was the only one on the clock and had to wait on all the tables by herself while there were a few employees behind the bar serving those customers. Anyways, that resulted in a really long wait to get our order in and an even longer one to get our check and receipt.

Fantastic breakfast in a very nice place. Old school diner vibe but in a modern way. Great people and excellent food. Creative menu with a ton choices.

An absolute must if you're in Palm Beach! Yes an affordable diner on the Island! Delicious food, great service and comfortable friendly ambiance! Today I went in for their famous Coconut Cake to take home! Quick friendly service! Spotless and bright interior! The Coconut Cake did not disappoint! Light and fluffy and not too sweet! The cake is moist and delicious! I love coconut cake and this is definitely one of the best!!

Been going there for the past few years after morning beach time with my dog to have a decent breakfast. Went this am and all of a sudden NO DOGS allowed. The hostess gave me attitude and said "this is a restaurant” as if I didn’t know… Disappointing.

Good price for the area in which it is located but let's say that they are not the tastiest dishes you can find. Large place with capacity for many people but perhaps they lack organization. They sat us down and didn't even give us cutlery and didn't let us order any lunch until 11AM. Average price per plate $15. The orange juice that they charge at a gold price is artificial (from a bottle).

Walked in, busy but not full, seated right away by the window. Sat for 20 minutes without any server coming anywhere near us. Table next to us was waiting for the check. 4 servers in the back mingling and chatting. Got up and walked out. Got a nice “thank you for coming in” from the host at the door. 🙄

If you want to eat yet not on Worth Ave, head for this enclave of normality. Fast and efficient you wait outside if busy for your number to be called. Once in you will be delighted with just want you expected from a Diner incl PB prices. Hey you know that would be the case before you came so don’t complain. Enjoy and tell your friends. Ps take away or to-go and sit near the Henry Flagler fountain !

I enjoy lunch at Surfside regularly and love the entire staff and everything on their menu. Their 5 star consistency of quality and tasty food together with their service and authenticity is amazing. The name fits perfectly. The restaurant is busy due to its popularity but they pay close attention to every customer in the restaurant and always make me, and I suspect others, feel like the most important person in the room. Very uncommon and nice in today’s world. Bravo!

If you like eating out of dishes that animals eat out of. First time here.it will be the last time. Gagging on my breakfast seeing dogs eating from plates calling the health department Monday morning thought we walk into a Diner. Not a Barn

We had a great breakfast here. Eggs Benedict and the Power Start, both were excellent. A nice twist on the menu is that you can swap home fries for an arugula salad. Much light way to start the day. Prices were fair, especially given the location.

Horrible service. The hostess was plesent but our sever was terrible. I have never had worse service. She made us wait 20 minutes to take our order. 20 mins of sitting there waiting when the restaurant was not even busy. The food came out shortly after, but the wait for our check took 40 minutes. 25 waiting for the check and then 15 after she took our card. Do not waste your time here for sub par food.

This place used to be great. Unfortunately now it is a tourist trap. Food is still good but there is always a wait. I’m happy business is good for them but the vibe is definitely different

Have been coming to this diner for years and today as I was having my coffee after paying the bill, a host was sent by the manager to tell us that people were waiting and we needed to leave, I told him I was still having my coffee he ignored my husband and I it was so embarrassing and rude. It's sad we were the only Latinos in the place and it created a very uncomfortable feeling as we felt singled out and humiliated. We gave this business our business for years but won't be back.before the incident the bill had been paid with with 20 percent gratuities which they did not decerve

These guys have some of the best cold pressed juices I’ve ever had. Their avocado toast is also very good.

This is a bear local spot for breakfast! I walked here from the Breakers for a real breakfast instead of a $40 resort breakfast. The people were friendly and the service was great! The food was very good and the coffee was especially good compared to what I am used to in a diner. My only complaint is that I wish they opened earlier than 8:30. It’s worth the effort to get away from The Breakers.

Food is good, but the service… Slow and rude service, let’s call it no service at all. Automatic 20% tip for just 2 ppl - feels like being profiled. Not attentive and service took forever.

High priced for the quality of the food, and long wait times. Situated where no other place offers breakfast. Need a good Cuban Restaurant in this area. It will force this place to step up its game.

5 stars all around. Just love this local, dog-friendly breakfast/ lunch spot on the island! Today I went with the Burrata salad and jazzed it up with avocado and shrimp. Camila was lovely as always and little Jude thought the same 😊 a joint you keep coming back to for sure!

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and fantastic service. Out of 4 days in Palm Beach, we had lunch and breakfast 3 times. Śtefania, Alex and everyone were amazing! Great job! Blueberry Pancakes are to die for, and they were recommended by our server and I did not regret it, that I took her advice. Thank you!

Stay away from the grilled chicken burrito. A total disappointment. In fact, it was a bean and rice burrito, with only very few indescribable, tasteless chicken bits. Indifferent service (although the place was not all crowed). The "music" track was unbearable. Perhaps stay away from this place entirely.

The food was decent, but I couldn’t believe the rudeness of the staff. The hispanic boy was great and kind, and so was the cook who came in and helped us, since my friends phone fell between the booth and we couldn’t take out. The rudeness of the two female waitresses, the older Italian one and the young American were incredible. I can’t say I have every felt this hostility from anyone anywhere. We had to ask for her to take the card and charge for the meal, her body language and reactions were horrific. Throwing the check on the table, not even saying thank you or anything, just brash rude one word answers. Passive aggressive, I was shook, and I work in the industry, this literally left me speechless. If anyone acted like this in the place I work at, they’d be flying out of the door. Unbelievable. Never coming here again.

The food was really good. I had a turkey wrap and my daughter had a burger. She ordered a slice of chocolate cake and said it was the best cake she ever had in her life! The server was slow. We were sat and waited 15 mins for anyone to greet us, not because she was busy, but because she was on her phone. She didn't realize we were there, nor the other tables that enterted were all waiting and looking around, she didn't look up from her phone, it wasn't until i asked who our server was that she noticed. My daughter really loved the food. Parking in the the street is 7 an hour. Lunch took an hour, The parking enforcement doesn't play around, I watched them writing tickets to numerous cars.

One of our favorite spots. Too bad there is no more outside seating. We miss it. However the food and service is food.

A great place to have Breakfast or Lunch - and only a 3 minute Walk from the beach and Worth Avenue. Great EGG BENEDICT and tasty Pancakes. I had a short stack of Blueberry Pancakes with Maple Syrup and it was delicious.

Had the most atrocious excuse for a panini here today: A caprese with chicken on focaccia, (allegedly) with a pesto aioli. Not sure how something so simple could be so horribly bad, but it was. First of all, the sandwich arrived drowning in a pool of juice from the 6 chunky tomato slices that were squeezed onto the thing—and the oil of several inelegantly large slabs of mozz sliding away. After I deconstructed the soggy mess to remove the offending tomatoes, I tried my best to muscle through at least half of the panini because it was late and I was starved—and the staff was looking a bit over-burdened, so it seemed likely that a new dish might take a bit. I realized that without the watery tomato situation, the bread was actually super dry and basically flavorless (I feel like a bit of oil or salt usually gives focaccia the delightful richness most of us associate with that bread, but this seemed like a generic supermarket starch—void of such dimension 😳). Perhaps the tomato juice washed away the majority of the pesto aioli that was meant to offer the sandwich some excitement, because the chicken also was sorely lacking in the flavor department; white, dry, unseasoned grilled chicken probably wasn’t worth the upcharge, in hindsight. I aggressively coated the chicken, mozz, and arugula from one half of the sandwich with salt and pepper to get through at least that much. I had no idea I could be so disappointed by such a basic item, but here we are. I’d probably not even consider it again after fleeing my diner stool in search of a real lunch, but for the endearingly apologetic server who kindly told me he did try to give me a discount—but his manager declined, as they believed I’d “eaten everything” (a point which my mostly-full plate hilariously contradicted). Cute place, mostly lovely staff, but overall such a bummer. I’d say go the extra mile north to Green’s if you want some solidly excellent diner food and overtly friendly service, every time.

I had lunch today at this dinner and order a chicken burrito, no cheese. Contains chicken, rice and Beans. I have been in pain since 2 o’clock. I am blooded and have painful cramps. How low is the quality of those simple ingredients that I have to suffer for hours? I will never go back.

They deliberately put 20% gratitude irrespective of the no. of people in the party. Extremely poor service.. hated the server. Her name was Stefania B.. she was extremely rude. Throughout the time she treated us in a racist way and poorly..

Visited for the first time with a friend for brunch/lunch on a Sunday. Chose to sit at counter so could be immediately seated as opposed to waiting 15-20 min for a booth. Cute little place with extensive, yet a little pricey menu. Definitely not a greasy spoon hole in the wall, kinda bougie. Both friend and I can only vouch for the coffee + short stack of blueberry pancakes, which were delish + $2 more expensive than regular pancakes. Breakfast for two came to $32 and change with tax. (It IS WPB after all - I think the prices are helping to pay West Palm Beach rent!) Would consider going back, but I also might consider going for smoothies next time I'm at the beach. Service was fine, not horrible, not amazing. (btw, parking at the beach is $7+ per hour and there are no kiosks, you need to have the ParkMobile app. There is free one hour parking in front of the diner.)

Some of the food was really good, and some was pretty basic, but one of the meals my friend had cheddar cheese on her sandwich and she said it was really really greasy and made the bread soggy and left a grease puddle. Overall coming here wasn't a bad experience by any means, but also we had higher expectations due to the location.

Such a cute diner in west palm. Menu has everything breakfast lunch,specials, shakes and delicious cakes and muffins. The cutest bar seating with a TV Friendly staff,fast service and comfy booths.

People were friendly on the phone (I called in an hour for pick-up) and in person. But the home fries were cold, dry, unseasoned (not even salt) and hard. The English muffin for the eggs benedict appears to have been microwaved, as it was unrelenting to my fork and knife. The avocado that I had added to my classic benedict was very generous (I got my $4 worth). Overall, the food was ok, but not anything that inspires me to crave it again.

Surfside diner has to be one of my favorite places to eat from- if not the best! In all my years of ordering from there, I have not, not enjoyed an entree. My favorites are the cob, Latin salads and chicken + burrito. My husband is hard to please when it comes to food, but he trusts that if it’s from Surfside then it’s going to be great! I commend the owner and his staff for their dedication to attention to detail. I will definitely continue to eat here.

I killed a small COCKROACH ON MY breakfast PLATE! It was trapped under half of my breakfast burrito. I had just consumed the first half and when I picked up the second half, the roach ran out and started running around my plate. I instinctively smashed it. I loved this place. Now, I won’t eat there ever again! Did this restaurant recently change ownership? I was the first customer in the door on Saturday morning and all the booths were dirty. They have cleanliness issues right now!

Was closed for a vacation when we attempted to visit. No updates online or anything, just a printout on the door. Skip Palm Beach in general unless you have a good reason to be there.

UNPLEASANT experience! *I will only talk about the service, not the food. Specifically signaling out a female employee: a woman with blonde/brown hair who seemed to be the head host. I couldn't get her name, nor do I care to know it.* This happened around 9:30am. I sat at the bar in the third-to-last seat (and important fact as you’ll soon come to know). This employee "approaches" (or rather “talks” to me from 5 feet away) and without an expected “good morning”, she says: “I'm ready whenever you are." I found this a bit unpleasant and rushed, but she seemed busy, even though the place was NOT crowded. So I let it go and asked for a coffee (the sole reason I decided to visit the establishment in the first place). Without asking what kind of coffee I wanted, which is customary as I later found out, she brought me a cup of black coffee. Just placed it next to me. A few minutes later, and HERE’s where the worst part happens, an older couple sits next to me. Corner seats as I was in the 3rd-to-last. Extremely courteous people btw, very unlike the employee herself whom proceeded to talk with them as they sat down: “Don't worry, he (referring to ME) will be leaving soon. You can sit there and be comfortable.” ! ! ! As if my presence was an inconvenience for them ! ! ! “Happy to see you guys again” she continued. “Can I get you some water, coffee? Expresso, macchiato?”. . . What an unpleasant, unprofessional comment… and person. I haven't tried their food yet, and it's worth mentioning that the other two employees working at the bar were VERY professional and generous with me. But this is for everyone to see, and I hope the business learns, the impact that just one employee can have. Manners go a long way! Can’t say I will be coming back anytime soon.

Would go 4.5 stars only because eating at the center island was a bit cramped on a busy Sunday morning. Food was amazing, definitely enjoyed the blueberry pancakes. Would definitely stop there again (but grab a booth or table).

We visited twice in a few days as we were staying locally and couldn't really find any other places for relaxed dining in Palm Beach West within walking distance of The Colony hotel. First visit was late breakfast, we sat in a booth, service is efficient, not at your beck and call, but they're clearly busy so you're not forgotten but still perfectly acceptable level of service. Food was great, we don't think it's great value but then we're from the UK and still live in the fantasy world when you get nearly two dollars for one pound, so literally everything we ate in the US and purchased felt expensive - also every little extra seems to have an added charge to it - like sharing a portion/2nd plate. Irrespective, I had the Crispy Chicken Wrap which I really enjoyed, one of my children had the french toast which was delicious and generous proportions. Soft drinks on refill and coffee - which is great. We returned another day for lunch, there wasn't enough seats so were told to sit outside until a tale was ready, which was fine and totally understandable - it was enjoyable people watching outside until a table was ready. Again Lunch was delicious. I like the charm of the place - it's not perfect but it's obviously popular for a reason and if we're lucky enough to return next year for my work then we will be eating here again.

Pretty cool spot to dine in. We arrived at a very busy time and we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. Upon request we were given a high chair for the baby. Food was delicious and was made quick. Beer and sparkling wine were at a decent price. I was surprised to see that they’re was no baby changing station in the bathrooms so I had to improvise by placing 2 chairs inside and using that. Other than that great spot with good food , we’ll be back.

We went on a lazy Friday morning and weren't disappointed in the breakfast options. My husband had the Classic Eggs Benedict with home fries, and I enjoyed the three-egg omelette with onions, spinach, mushrooms and Muenster, along with a side of rye toast and an arugula salad. The arugula, lightly drizzled with a semisweet dressing, was a perfect complement to the omelette. The rye toast was fresh and tart. Coffee was strong and rich, and the decor felt beachy without being overly so. Perfect little spot - hoping to come back for the Friday lunch special: shrimp salad with chimichurri!

Great food, great menu options. Now for the BUT...do not go to this diner if time is essential. Nice place, sat at the counter. Arrived at 1045am. The staff was very polite, but not necessarily customer attentive or efficient. Had two staff members doing odds and ends right in front of me, but still took 15 minutes to gain any attention to request a coffee. I was not really in a hurry so just sat patiently, more out of amusement to see how quick they even recognized I existed. Had the egg burrito, once I got my order in actually came out great. What I noticed is the wait staff just took orders, when they were ready. So kudos to the woman who quickly sat me at the counter, the cooks for a great meal, and the guy who ran my meal out while still hot...this is the team that deserves recognition! They were the most efficient of the entire staff. Well take that back, the wait staff was efficient if saving on coffee refills was a metric they were being measured against. Either way, the food was great...just remember that old adage that patience is a virtue.

Fantastic! The beer selection is a little weak. Service was fast ,pleasant, & competent. Food was very fast, & very good. A good experience. I highly recommend this diner!

Disappointment is immeasurable. Waitress was ignoring me for the duration of the time I was there until I asked about the auto gratuity. I said please and thank you and she applied gratuity to my check automatically but not those around me stating “kids don’t tip” and I’m a grown adult. Had this place saved in Maps for a long time and will not return. Perhaps if you look a certain way your visit will go different, as I look like a “kid”
