You pull up to a bland looking white house with a taco sign and open sign. Nothing about the outside screams "Hey. This is a restaurant. Our food is tasty. Come try". But you go in. The place is small but nice and clean with a few tables and a foosball in the corner. Order at the counter and sit down. And they just bring you the most beautiful tacos you've ever seen. The meat ranges from chicken and steak to cow tongue and tripe. All of it is packed with flavor and every bite tastes just as good as the first. What a lovely taco place. I'm so glad I went.

THE BEST authentic tacos in the area!!! Nice and simple but full of flavor. Corn tortillas were noticeably homemade. I could probably eat a hundred of them. Tamales, flan, tres leches, horchata all on point. So thankful for this place!!!!

Very nice small restaurant on the side a fairly busy road, easy to pass by but worth stopping in. My wife immigrated from Guatemala last year and was very happy to find such a good mexican restaurant nearby. We ordered a few different things and it was all great. They do an excellent job and are very friendly, it was nice and quiet when we went on a Friday afternoon. The owner and some of the staff spoke with us, they are all very friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. Even their fries are excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

We stop by to this place for some tacos, the staff is so nice and the food was really tasty and authentic mexican. We highly recomend the tacos, pork tamal 10/10.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try cause I was craving some quesobirria tacos. Ooooo buddy! Absolutely delicious. The tacos were spilling over with plentiful meat, the cheese pulled, the sauce wasn't too spicy and was packed with flavor, and the flavor in the soup was deep and rich. We got some guacamole and queso to have before our meal. The guac was so fresh. The quest was good, but we found that it was really good adding some of the hot sauce. My husband ordered 3 different tacos: steak, chorizo, and pastor. He loved them so much that he went back and ordered another round. You can certainly taste the love and fashion that they put into the food. We're excited to return and try some other things!

This was the first restaurant I ate at when I moved into the area years ago and I have been going at least once every two months sense then . This place has the best Mexican food in the area and it doesn’t matter what you order . Tacos , burritos , quesadillas, it’s all just as delicious as the other . I consider this my secret place where I only bring people I really like lol everyone I have brought has loved the food and is also a returning customer . Hands down the best food and you can’t beat the prices either

We passed this place driving down 51 and decided to stop in. Great, authentic flavor. We tried a mix of birria, el pastor, chicken, and steak. Great flavors, and love the hot sauce that came with it.

Family owned little spot- authentic. Another favorite spot that’s local. They’re friendly, and they prepare it pretty fast. I usually get it to go since they’re so close to home. Their fish tacos and chicken tacos are yummy. The location has struggled to keep restaurants here in the passed and I specifically come to this spot in hopes it helps them stay open. So much better then fast food or a chain restaurant. Try the filled churro- so yummy

My husband and I go here every week 🤤 Such a wonderful place to eat! Authentic flavorful tacos made fresh! You will never regret coming here for a meal 🌮🌯 It’s always hard to decide what I want because everything is so delicious, but I highly recommend the Birria quesadillas or the fish tacos!

this place is absolutely a must, i see a lot of complaints on the portion size but the price for the food is reasonable. it it fresh, authentic & taste amazing. the service is quite quick as well. i will say if it’s your first time definitely get the birria tacos!!! my first visit i was welcomed in immediately, the owner came out and started a conversation with my family & i. this place goes above & beyond for its customers.

I love this hidden taco place! My husband and I were just driving around and happen to see this taco restaurant! All we ever order is their Asada tacos, carnitas and barrera tacos! Delicious!! I literally can eat it 10 tacos by myself! So if you’re just driving through, just stop by. Service is nice and quick and food is delicious!

If you’re looking for a tasty taco, you’ll definitely find it here. However, for the money they are charging, you get a taco no bigger than your finger. They do not give sides of tomatoes, guac, sour cream, nothing that you’d expect to accompany your meal for the price you pay. I would go back, but I highly encourage the restaurant to increase their portion sizes.

Tacos were tasty, but you don't get much and there's no rice and beans or chips with the meal. 13 bucks got us three tacos in a 12 oz drink each. When we got home I ate cereal and got McDonald's for my son because we were still hungry. Baja fresh has a better meal for a better price. I think if they were to add rice and black beans and throwing some chips then it would be worth it. Also be nice if you had Pico and lettuce in the tacos.

Yassss finally truly authentic Mexican tacos on the East coast. Boy have I missed them since moving from CA almost 2 years ago. I will gladly drive the hour from VA just to have these tacos again!

Best authentic fish tacos in the US. I've had fish tacos all over. The best meal I've ever had was fish tacos in Tulum Mexico in just a shack off the beach. The fish tacos at TACOS EL DF are soooo close to being just as good and definitely the best anywhere in the US. I've tried everywhere to find someone who could reproduce that meal on the beach of Tulum. This place is as close as one can get. Also I might add the owner and staff are super nice and the place is clean. Can't find one bad thing to say about the place.

I think the prices are a bit on the higher end, but the food is pretty top notch. The birria is amazing. The menudo is also amazing, and would be better if it had more meat.

Most delicious tacos around! They make homemade tortillas here! I ordered asada steak tacos which were packed with juicy flavorful steak with onions and cilantro and topped with there house hot sauce. Very affordable prices, fast and friendly service, clean and tidy establishment, and family friendly. A definite must stop!!! And also love that they cater for parties/weddings.
