Small restaurant and Asian store in a strip mall in Gainesville, FL for Authentic Filipino cuisine for take out. They cook only 2 days a week, on Friday and Saturday, and come at store opening at 10a to get fresh. They have a specific menu every week. The week I had gone, I ordered pancit bihon, small, and bistek and white rice. The food was excellent!!!!

Expensive and very very limited stock. However, if you are Filipino, it is a great way to catch up with the community since they are in the know. They are getting more organized and the store is looking better. They also have some interesting new products!

10/10 food . I went a few times under the old owners and it was decent . Under the need owners it is great . Friendly staff that can help you figure out what to eat . Very clean and organized . They have about 5 different meals you can buy in sizes small medium or large . Definitely worth checking out any Friday or Saturday between 1000 am - 12 pm for the tasty food

Small grocery store and some good selection of goods. We came here to try the cooked meals. Taste IS wonderful and authentic Filipino. The meals are available only Fridays and Saturdays. Worth a try!

They’ve really improved on the hot food they serve ! They provide three portion options as well as better take out containers ! They also have an option to order up to one day ahead, only gotten food on Friday so on Saturday if you’re walking in to get food better go early ! They open at 10am every day except Monday

I've been coming to this store for more than 10 years, the staff is very friendly and they have almost everything you need for your Filipino cooking needs! When we need to send a balikbayan box to PI we go through them and they come and pick up out boxes at our house and usually have really good prices for shipping in the winter.

Best place to visit after Church, the food are exellent and price is reasonable. Good for Students and for those who want to taste authentic Filipino food, and go Shopping after.

Local Filipino store and restaurant for travellers! Many people will probably drive 50+ miles away from Gainesville to find another Filipino restaurant, but don't say no to this place. I wasn't able to find any reliable reviews of this place, but I'm glad and honored to be able to say something about this hidden jewel. Ambience: Convenience store to the right of the store that has snacks for the road or some pasalubong for the parents - restaurant on the left that serves amazing, homemade food. Overall, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and familiar - definitely a home away from home! Service: It's run by a couple that has had the store open for 10+ years. They're so sweet and friendly, and you'll have your food in a flash! Price: One plate is $6.99; it comes with a heap of rice and your choice of two "entrees" on top. Price Range: $ Menu: All homemade food that ranges from Kaldareta to Ginaatan. When I visited, they served Adobo, Dinuguan, Kaldereta, Ginaatan, Ampalaya, and Pancit Bihon. Menu changes from time to time, so come often to try everything!

You might think this place is shady, but the food is delicious! They give you so much, for so cheap! Here’s a little tip, they only cook on Sundays and Tuesdays, so make sure to go here on those days if you want to eat. If you want some Filipino candies or goodies, they’re only closed on Monday, and open on the rest of the week.

03/24/2018 My wife and I came in almost closing time and we were so hungry after maintain bike/trail biking. They we so nice and serve us food. It was our first time, the food was GREAT!!!

This is the bees knees. The owners are the kindest people I've met. When I use to live in Gainesville I would go here every Sunday.. I still have dreams about their dinuguan. It tastes like home. If you haven't been here, ask yourself, what are you doing with your life?

I just came from this place and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s a family owned business and the people there were so warm and friendly. The people there were so helpful and wonderful it felt like I was back in the Philippines. They had everything I was looking for which was great but the service was just all over fantastic. I will definitely go again. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

They serve Filipino food Sundays and Tuesdays! They recommend coming around lunch time 11 am - 1 pm to ensure there is food left!

Your only source for Filipino groceries and there is cooked Filipino food on Sundays. Dinugoan, lechon kawali, fried bangus, pinakbit and pancit, to name some.
