Lake county doesn't deserve this place. Nicest staff, exceptional food, and they actually get coffee.

This place has an amazing vibe. They have put lots of work into creating a fun, funky space. Lots of variety on the menu, plus coffee, bottled sodas, and adult bevys. So yummy and fun!

The food is fresh, they always have something new, coffee is great, and the cold drink selection is like nothing around here. Their Cuban is incredible.

I gave it a two,instead of one star, because the staff was pleasant and it’s got a cool atmosphere. That being said I ordered pick up online. When I arrived I was notified they were out of one of the salads ordered. Said they “tried to call me” yet no such call in my call long nor a voicemail. Then replaced with Frito Tacos. There were no Fritos as stated in menu. Also ordered veg sandwich with NO jalapeños yet there were jalapeños.

The food was ok. Great if you like curry, it seems to be the main ingredient in most items. I'm personally not a fan unless I'm in the UK or a curry restaurant. But if you're looking for that artsy, hang out to drink coffee or a variety of soft drinks, chat with friends and listen to loud alternate music. This is your place!

Had lunch at the Deli Llama and I got A hot mess Press sandwich and it was to die for... great flavor and fresh. I would highly recommend eating here when In the downtown Tavares area.

So many great choices on the menu, it was hard to decide. I ended up getting the turkey curry. There was enough for me to bring some home, but it was so good I ended up just eating the whole thing. I gave Atmosphere 4 stars instead of 5, because the bathroom is only accessible from the outside, and the door is a bit tricky.

Excellent restaurant. One of the best Cuban sandwiches I have ever eaten. I also tried the home-made lemon and blueberry cake which was excellent too. Looking forward to trying other menu items. The vibe is very Austin, Hipster, Millennial, but not obnoxiously so, wonderfully comfortable with a patio area. Large groups would have a problem unless they eat on the covered patio. Service is friendly and patient. You order at the counter, but they deliver to your table.

Funky little place with quirky music playing and various seating options. Had the Jr Cuban, chips and a yoohoo.... and it was awesome!!!

Such friendly and welcoming atmosphere! Also they'll edit sandwiches to meet any of your preferences. I got the Dante's Delight and the focaccia was so soft and pillowy. It was perfect!! Highly recommend checking this place out.

This is my favorite restraunt in Tavares! Paige is an amazing server and is so welcoming. After only a few visits, she had memorized my order. She is always working hard and attending to my every call. Shes so funny and sweet. The atmostphere and her make this restraunt so welcoming. I would give her and this restraunt 10 stars if I could!

Currently my favorite place in Tavares for coffee and lunch. The salads and sandwiches are great. Outside of the Deli Llama, I usually only eat plain turkey and cheese sandwiches. I've been trying a lot of different sandwich items from the menu, and all of them have been really good. The avocado toast, grilled cheese, and goat cheese salad are also great. I dine in and order take out; I have always had a positive experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience. We had the Italian and the Cuban. Both really great. Service was good and fast. Cute quirky inside with a surprising amount of seating and nice seating outside where they brought our food out to us. Obviously popular with locals. Saw firefighters and all types coming and going. Very worth the 15 minute detour we made to have lunch when crossing Florida.

Try the Cuban you won't regret it! We tried it once and have been back several times for it. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cute. Can't wait to go back for another Cuban soon!

What a surprise! It looks smaller from the outside, and it has no obvious sign so I wasn’t sure if it was the right place but once inside yum! Delicious sandwiches, wonderful atmosphere. It felt like I was welcome and the smell alone was a feast.

I have a gluten allergy, and they easily turned a sandwich into an amazing salad. Thanks to the batista and chef for keeping me safe!

If this place was in Chicago or another big city, it would have all the fanfare of many of the restaurants that produce around-the-block lines.

Great place to chill. Called at 2.45 and despite them closing at 3.00 made to feel welcome. Great raspberry and lemon cake. Well worth a visit

Great spot for lunch! I live a little further away so it’s hard to make it during their hours, but the drive is worth it. They are iffy about modifiers every once in awhile, but I just pick things off now.

this is a staple place for whenever I land in Mt Dora for a week. the food is always delicious and the staff clearly have a welcoming local vibe. i have never had a bad dish here.

Awesome experience! All the food and drinks we ordered came out delicious and it was prepared quickly. Highly recommend their cold brew coffees! The staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, especially when it came to our toddler who we had with us. Can’t wait to come back and try out the rest of their menu items!

A symphony of flavors in every bite. Everything is delicious especially their croissants. Crisp and flakey.

Food was fresh and flavorful. The menu featured unique sandwiches, salads, desserts, specialty teas & coffees. The serving bowls were compostable paper and the straws were agave-based. The building is a renovated vintage gasoline station and very retro-themed. This facilitated the owners not having to use new construction for their brick and mortar business. This small business is worth your stop in Tavares, Florida.

Great Britain, this place is fancy with the selection of the menu. The coffee flavors and choices are out of this world spaceship style. If I could, I would eat here every day of my life. I'm so glad I know of this place. Please stop by. You will be impressed.

Check this gem of Taveres out! Deli Llama is a solid sandwich shop with high quality ingredients coupled with great culinary execution. My wife and I were blown away with how good lunch was, but this place offers more than just great food...the atmosphere is eclectic with a relaxed feel, chill music and a plethora of drink options. My fav about this place is its a converted convient store, which they still utilize the beverage fridge for customer to select their beverage of choice. Great job everyone at the Deli Llama, we will be stopping by next time we are in town, for sure! By the way, Katrina from Adventure Outdoor Paddle told us about yall!

I found The Deli Llama just searching for something different than our typical McDonald’s or Wendy’s and it did not disappoint. The order was super easy to place online, location easy to find. Employees were all so friendly when I walked in and it really felt just like going to a coffee shop, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food came quick. The food was still warm when I got home because they wrapped it nice and tight in the foil. And oh my goodness the taste. This Cuban sandwich is my new favorite sandwich EVER. So delicious! Thank you!!

Friendly hostess/server. I had a small salad and shared a turkey panini. Crisp lettuce, delicious mix of flavors and textures; all ingredients tasted fresh. The sandwich was toasted, lots of turkey, arugula, avocado, and roasted red peppers, and we asked for the sriracha mayo on the side. Nice portions. Also had vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso. Delicious!

Came with friends for evening outing….was one of my favorite going out events! Loved the quirky atmosphere, the music, setting of the 50’s and 60’s. Service of fabulous, food (tapas) was fresh and flavorful. I hope they stay the same, it’s a perfect date stop. We had 6 of us in a living room setting, which was very cool! Owners are amazing!!! Bar is wine and beer only but they make outstanding cocktails from them. I can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!
