This is one of my favorite restaurants in Wesley Chapel. We eat 1-2 times a week. Food is always fresh, their chicken pita or chicken Caesar pita are my favorite! The manager and franchise owner at this location are awesome. Staff is always friendly, I highly recommend trying them out.

First time trying Hungry Greek and it was a hit! Really enjoyed their soup, the gyros wrap, and hummus. Everything on the menu looked delicious. Will be back to try other options.

I had the gyros pita. They really put a lot of meat on it. It is so tasty and filling. No need to drive to Tarpon Springs! This location opens at 11 and it was full by 11:30. It is clean, well run and they serve great fresh food!

We did a pickup order. It was nice to have a dedicated parking spot. Food is always great here. We have ordered quite a lot.

They are super friendly and the girl was on register she is so nice and the food also is great for sure I will go back again

I have been eating at Hungry Greek Wesley Chapel and Lutz (off of Livingston) for about 3 years now. I order take out at least once a week from these locations. I order food here because of the consistency of the food and the friendliness of the staff. There is no glitz and glamour to the restaurant, it is a casual eatery; however, I cannot say enough how consistent and tasty the the food is. The other reason why I spend my money here is because the staff know me (probably because I order here so frequently). I order exclusively online through their Hungry Greek app, and I order the same couple menu items. I come in, say hello and the staff greet me by name and hand me my order. The 3 years I’ve been going to both locations, I’ve never had an error in my order. It’s like being in an episode of Cheers… everyone knows your order and your name. My personal favorite menu items are the souvlaki meals and tabouli salad. I didn’t realize how much I eat here until one day I realized I had so many reward points I was eating for half price for almost an entire month.

The food is good and the people are nice. Always check your order because they often time forget things. I've ordered greek salad with chicken only to get home and find no chicken or the extra dressing is missing. It's also is expensive. The salad with chicken is $20+

Menu was misleading, a bowl with meat is $20.00 However Moe’s Southwest is $10.00 for the same food. They do have a Spectrum WIFI access point

This food was excellent. Fresh, flavorful, and filling! The Greek bowl was HUGE. Lamb gyro was hot and delicious. 10/10.

The Hungry Greek exceeded my expectations! From the savory gyro to the flavorful tzatziki sauce, every bite was a taste of Greece. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Can't wait to go back

I love the chicken pita wrap. Also delicious. I ask them to chop the chicken very fine and it tastes really good.

I would give it a 5 but I frequently go to Tarpon Springs. Outside of there Hungry Greek is definitely a 5, service is sterling.

My wife loves this place. Definitely my go-to when I wanna put a smile on her face!

Freshly prepared dishes that tasted great. The staff looked very in tune and the manager was friendly and kind. It's a place like this that makes a quick lunch at a reasonable price worth it.

At $16.99 for a gyro skewer on a plate of rice, this is more like "The Greedy Greek"

First time here because we live over an hour away. The food was delicious, portions were large, people were friendly. A gentleman even came over to our table to see how everything was which is rare these days. The place was clean, they were busy, people were coming and going the whole time we were there. We had Greek salad with gyro meat and tabouli salad with gyro, both excellent. Will be visiting here again.

The only downside here is their closing early. The food is consistently good, the service is plentiful and friendly, and the place is pleasant. I will continue to return.

I've been craving a good gyro since I left NY a few years ago. I saw this in Wesley Chapel and decided to try it. It was probably around 7:30pm and there were about 10 people dining in. The gentleman at the register was friendly and sounded like a cartoon character lol very monotone. It was funny. I ordered the reg gyro and they were quick with it. 2-3 mins and it was done. When they handed me the bag, my first thought was that the bag was really light. I felt disappointed because I waited so long to have one. I opted to eat in my car. Upon opening the box, I saw the shaved lamb covered with onions and white sauce. I took the first bite and was pleasantly surprised by the warm pita and tasty lamb. The onions added a welcomed crunch and the sauce was creamy and added a little tang which I liked. A little small from what I'm used to but full of flavor. I'm gonna try the combo gyro on my next visit. Check them out!

So... I wouldn't say The Hungry Greek is 5-star Greek food... there is not any lamb... Regardless my 5-start review is for what it is. It is a fast casual restaurant that is well run. We have been to this location many times. The owner/manager is always welcoming. It is one of our few go to places.

The food here was delicious! I am gluten free so ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken. I loved it! My kids got the chicken fingers with fries and grilled chicken with rice. My husband got a shrimp skewer (and they didn't skimp on the shrimp!), along with a steak dinner. We all left there feeling full and satisfied, and all for a great price. We all look forward to eating here again!

I’m from nyc so maybe my judgment is harsh since our gyros there are incredible but this chicken gyro I had today was weak. Barely any chicken. Very small portion. I’m a 130lb girl and I’m still hungry after that lol. Idk maybe it’s because I ordered at 7 and they closed at 8? Very surprised from the ratings tho.

This is nice small greek restaurant tucked in a strip mall. The staff was attentive and nice. Our order was prepared quickly and served hot. I got the philly gyro with fries, both were excellent.

Food was good just disappointed had no grape leafs how do u call yourself Greek and not have them on your menu? I will stick with Greek city or little Greek for this reason

Consistently good food and service, which are rare today. I appreciate how courteous and helpful the staff are with all customers. Management is doing a great job trying their workers. We enjoyed the gyros, Greek salad, and soup. All were delicious, generous and well prepared. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Just drove to Tampa ,yeah l'm pretty mad ,but I'm glad I checked my order. I clearly ordered a Gryo to go . what I got was a pile of meat in a box with tizeke sauce. Not a Gryo. After paying and tiping for bad service, the manager came out and said I needed to pay 3 dollars more for said Gryo with my credit card. I said take the 3 dollars out of the 4 dollars I just put in the tip jar for lousy service. She said if I didn't pay she would simply have to pay out of her personal money. I told her this whole thing is an insult to my intelligence. How petty is it when an establishment bagers the customer for their bottom line ingraceshisly. 🤔

I’ve been going to the Wesley Chapel location for 9 years n have always be satisfied. So tonight I go with a friend not only is the gentlemen taking the order extremely nice but the customer service was above and beyond. My friends salad wasn’t the way she wanted it and they gave her a new one then they forgot to give her part of her order but when they were getting it ready they asked us if we wanted anything else on the house. Now that’s customer service.

I was there today 2/22/23 an I ordered a gyro which I was looking forward to enjoying . Surprised by the up in price , before it was around. $ 7 + beverage today the gyro was $ 10 with tax with beverage close to $13 .00. Still a great gyro after all these years but something I'll buy less often due to the cost . I could have gone to Latin Twist and got food enough for 2 meals. . Still great but costly. ..I have been a customer for 5 years and it's a great place to get some Greek food . Tuesday is discounted day so give them a try you won't regret the choice.

Small restaurant with amazing food. The gyro and Greek salad is my favorite. The gyro is filled with tons of meat. Service is always friendly and fast. Highly recommend this authentic Greek restaurant.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hungry Greek located in Wesley Chapel. My food was ready on time and the employees working did a fabulous job despite it being busy. The Food was wonderful. I will definitely go back again and recommend this restaurant.

After almost 20 minutes of waiting my food was not ready. I came in with two other people and was the first to order. After 10 minutes they had their order and I was still waiting. Instead of notifying me that someone forgot to cook the chicken for my order, they kept me waiting. After 20 minutes I asked for a refund and they obliged. Very horrible customer service!

Haley took amazing care of me. Not only did she make ordering my food easy, but she had a great personality. Also the food is great. I’ll definitely be back. :)

The hungry greek was on my list from long time to have greek food. So for Friday dinner I took a opportunity to have greek food from the hungry greek. After browsing the menu online, I gave a call to the hungry greek ordering Falafel Hungry Pita and Falafel Caesar Salad. The order was ready in 15 minutes and I picked up the order from restaurant. I first had Falafel Hungry Pita which was fulfilling with pita and all the necessary ingredients. The pita was delicious and tasty. Then we had Falafel Caesar Salad which was amazing and delicious with sauces and fulfilling ingredients . Amazing and delicious food from the Hungry Greek to have.

The hummus is quite literally sample sized. No EVOO, bread is good though. This is really sad, avoid the hummus. I should have went somewhere else.

Y’all need to come up here and get you one of these.. I tried the Tabouli bowl with chicken and it was very yummy

Came in The Hungry Greek and came out The Full Greek! The menu was very easy to order from and ingredients are all very fresh and tasty. I ordered a Tabouli Salad which comes with pita bread and a side of Falafel. Portion sizes are very generous. If you're hungry, you will likely finish it and be satiated. Service here is very good as well and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back in!

I dined in for the first time today, right away I noticed how friendly the staff was. I was instantly greeted and my order was taken. My food was made very quickly. I didn't have to wait long.

Another wonderful experience. The food is always fresh and delicious.

Too expensive, I can get the same food for much cheaper price 😁
