Really great restaurant located in a strip mall in Naples, Florida. The best Cuban food I’ve had since dinner at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana 6 years ago. My dinner of ropa vieja, the national dish of Cuba, was absolutely delicious. The plantains were perfectly prepared and the rice moist and cooked to perfection. Desert of flan was excellent. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is small and nicely decorated. There is some outside seating. Miguel was very efficient, friendly and attentive. What an incredible find this was. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited this restaurant last night with my wife and friends from New Jersey, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Firstly, the food was atrocious. It tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave and was served cold. The quality was far below acceptable standards; even the streets of India smell better than this place did. It was genuinely hard to believe that what was served was intended to be edible. Additionally, the restaurant itself had a terrible odor, which further ruined the already dismal atmosphere. It's clear that hygiene and cleanliness are not priorities here. Overall, I would strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. The combination of poor-quality food, bad smell, and overall unpleasant experience means that this place has a lot of improvements to make before it can even be considered a viable dining option.

They said it’s the best Cuban sandwich in Naples and I can’t argue with that! One of the best I ever had. My wife had the 1/2 chicken which was great with black beans and rice and fried plantains!

Got take out and loved it. We tried the sweet ripe plantains, perfectly cooked. Cuban sandwich was incredible, loooooved the bread. Then we tried moros, salad and chicken churrasco with chimichurri. Only thing is we asked for flan and it didn’t make it into the bag but that happens.

Decent Cuban Food for this area. Can't compare with most of the Cuban restaurants in Miami or Tampa, but at least it's not bad.

Van Van Cuban Cafe is hands-down THE best Cuban restaurant in Naples and surrounding areas. Myizie, our waiter, was prompt, friendly, and checked in with us just enough to ensure satisfaction and provide refills. The food is amazing! I had the Bistic de Pollo with black beans and yellow rice. Hubby had the Palomilla Steak with black beans and white rice. The seasonings were mouthwatering. The beans and yellow rice was sinfully creamy! The steak had such an interesting and delicious flavor. My husband said it was the best Cuban food he's ever had ... and we love Cuban food, so we hit up a lot of places. This will be our 100% go-to for Cuban when we are in the Naples area. Even if you aren't sure you like Cuban food, give Van Van a try. This would be the best place to find out.

We only have gotten take out but the food is always consistently great. They have very authentic Cuban dishes with lots of variety.

My fiancé and I came here for an early dinner. Being from Miami, I was looking for a good Cuban spot. To our surprise, this place was great! Service was excellent (Jamie took great care of us), ambiance was nice and clean (more upscale than I imagined), and the food was very authentic and tasty. I had the vaca frita and my fiancé had the lechón asado accompanied by the garbanzo soup and some beers. Will definitely come back!

In a strip mall, sat outside. Felt like an office building. Had the cubano, very greasy on the outside. Maybe that is the norm.

Food was amazing! Mojitos are off the chart good!! Highly recommend the sampler appetizer platter. Lechon Asado with Moros and Sweet Plantain sides were very good. Wife had the Chicken Churrasco Salad. Great portions and very tasty. We will definitely be coming back for more. Have the Cuban coffee after dinner. Fantastic. Myriel was fantastic and a great adult drink maker!!

I recently moved from Miami to Naples and was in the mood for Cuban food. I’ve always said my grandparents make the best Cuban food, and that is still true but at #2 it is definitely this restaurant. The owner is a young man who is working his tail off to ensure all customers are comfortable and get the best experience. Highly recommend. THE PORK IS A 10/10 and then some!!! Get it THE FLAN IS A 9.5/10! Delicious

Incredibly impressed with Van Van Cuban Cafe! Our waitress Jamie was very helpful and informative on the dishes and answered our questions about the meals before ordering. I don’t think we had to ask questions, because everyone loved every meal that we ordered. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you! (My dad just said “this is the best Cuban food I’ve had in my life”)

We had the Cuban and steak sandwiches and both were so good! The Cuban was the favorite of the two by far. We also got the rice and beans with it which were also delicious. We called in a take-out order and it was out as quickly as they could prepare it which was about 15-20 minutes. Overall, a delicious little place

I was craving Spanish food and found this nook. First time here, had black beans, yellow rice and shrimp enchilado with a side of tostones. Also had guava cheesecake, actually cheesecake with guava jam sprinkled on top and on the plate. Overall good, black beans were the most enjoyable. Service was good. No outdoor seating.

Flavor explosion! Oh man, we just grabbed some sandwiches and wow! I have to go back for dinner. I lived 2 years in Miami and know my way around some good Cuban cuisine and let me tell you, this place is special.
