Everything was excellent will go there again and again!!!!

I came by after hearing through word of mouth about the food, i stopped by just as they were closing but one of the owners, Don Don, went inside and still made me a plate for dinner. Food was absolutely amazing. Will be coming back for some Jerk tomorrow!! This place is a must visit.

We tried a lil bit of everything and it was all delicious!! Curry goat, jerk chicken, oxtails and my absolute favorite was the Escovitch Snapper!!! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the owner came and talked to us at the table. All together I can’t wait to return!

This was my second time visiting the restaurant. The first time, I had the Curry Goat. It was very good. I came back today and ordered the Curry Goat but also to try their Curry Chicken. I'm looking forward to it! It's a nice family style restaurant.

This was my first time at Yah suh nice Jamaican cuisine and I am beyond satisfied. My food was fresh and came out quickly. Not much of a wait. The atmosphere was chill, good music. Now let’s get into this brown stew chicken. It was so tender and fell of the bone as I picked it up. The flavor was just right. Cabbage seasoned to perfection. Rice & peas & plantain, 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾.

The food was fantastic, but unfortunately, there were no condiments or utensils included in the bag. I wish I could have enjoyed it while it was still hot.

First time here and first time trying Jamaican cuisine! It was so good! I couldn’t decide between the fried chicken and the brown stew chicken, so I ordered the fried and the young man put some of the brown stew sauce and a piece of the stew chicken on my rice. So good! My husband got the jerk chicken and he loved it too. Will most definitely eat here again!

Always amazing every time I go! I get the brown stew in small and the jerk chicken in small and they both fill me up and then some I always have left overs! They are real authentic island people and you will know it by the love they put in each plate. It will take a bit simply because it’s freshly cooked to order but it’s WELLLLLL WORTH THE WAIT! Ask for the short non hooper with dreads tell him the tall hooper he imagining he beat sent you ! Lol great place! I highly recommend

My wife, friend and I were in Jacksonville for a baseball tournament and we had a taste for some good Jamaican food. When we did our Google and Yelp searches, Yah Suh Nice came up as one of the Top 10 Jamaican restaurants in Jacksonville so we drove 10 miles to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. I had brown stewed chicken, my wife had ox 🐂 tails and our friend had curry chicken 🐔! The food came out in about 10 minutes and it was steaming hot ♨️ and delicious. I would rate their customer service a 5/5 because the owner who took our orders was very personable, friendly and professional. I also would rate the food a 5/5 and the atmosphere a 5. When we are in Jacksonville again, we will definitely return to Yah Suh Nice again!

Ordered large oxtail 27$. Oxtail did not have flavor and was not tender. Not happy. I had the goat from them in the past and it was good

I knew of this restaurant from a prior trip to Jacksonville, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS 😋😋!The BEST Jamican food I have ever had! On the 4th, my daughter, grandsons, and I were in Jacksonville, and I ordered dinners (oxtails, jerk chicken, patties, and coco bread). Christopher, my grandson is a very picky eater. However, he raved about the food and asked if we were going to take some with us when we returned home to Tallahassee. I purchased 6 dinners, 2 of which were Christopher's. You must go there and I assure you that you will not be disappointed! Thank you, Earl & Janice, the owners, PAR EXCELLENT!

I ordered Coconut Curry Snapper and it looked good, smelled good, and tasted even better! It was fresh ingredients used and authentic flavor in every bite. I want to thank Don for his great and friendly customer service.

We ordered Jerk Chicken but it tasted more like bbq. We also ordered Curry chicken and beef patties and they were delicious but the Jerk chicken was not Jerk it was more like bbq chicken.

Stopped by for the first time Thursday, I had the brown stewed chicken. My almost 2 year old toddler is a picky eater. She tore that chicken up, ate all the meat off the bones. I came back the next night for the snapper. Soooo good….I was so full. I also tried their chicken patties Thursday, wanted some yesterday but they were sold out. I’m going back today, hopefully they don’t sell out lol. My mom actually loves this place and I finally tried it and see why. I live all the way in durbin but it’s worth the drive.

We heard about this place from an Uber driver, self proclaimed as a foodie. Decided to give it a chance. We ordered oxtail and jerk chicken. Rice and peas with cabbage. It was seriously so good, came out pipping hot with what I thought was a large portion. The lady behind the counter who took our order and brought our food out was super nice, particularly to our 10 year old son. Took the rest home, heated it up later and was still super tasty. Overall I would say the food has a ton of flavor without being too salty or greasy. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going again!

I ate here one time and the food was great but the next two times I tried to call and make a order the person put me on hold and never took my call then when I tried to call back they wouldn't take my call. The food is great but the customer service is not. The funny thing about it the last two times I tried to call it was big orders for family and friends I guess we will take our business elsewhere 🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾

I was craving Jamaican food and decided to check out this place. I was Grateful of the Kindness despite coming @ closing. lol. The Jerk Chicken platter was delicious. It was sweet and spicy at the same time which I personally enjoy because I can’t do overly spicy. Plus, the meat was tender and slid right off the bone. 🤤

My husband and I went to this awesome place to get something different for dinner. Let me tell you… FOOD WAS AMAZING, very tasty and perfect portions! Husband preserve Jerk chicken and i ordered the Oxtail and both dishes were absolutely delicious… Soul food for sure!! For sure we are going back! Wendy Greer

1st time there. I had been looking for another Caribbean spot since my normal one runs out of Oxtails quickly. Medium plate was a little pricey but I get it since oxtail prices have increased. Everything was flavored nicely and portion size was great. The young man who made my order had top notch customer service. I'll be back to try out more dishes.

The food is AMAZING! I got brown stew and my date got oxtails. My chicken and his oxtails were both so tinder and just falling apart. The gravy with the rice was so delicious as well. The service was top notch as well! We will definitely be back!

Ordered a small brown stewed chicken and a large oxtail both with cabbage, rice, and peas. We were highly disappointed with food. The stewed chicken was sweet. The oxtails were tender but had very little seasoning. The young lady working was very pleased and provided quick service in spite of working the front and the kitchen alone. It was our first visit and will probably be our last.

Unfortunately have to be honest. Was hopeful coming in seeing the reviews. Ordered LG Oxtail, one patty 1 soursop drink & 1 ginseng root drink that was $46. One meal 2 drinks. We wanted to buy 3 drinks but it was over $60 for that and so when asked if wanting to take anything off we took off 2 drinks and she said you can put them back in the fridge, thanks & handed them to me staring until I put them back on the counter telling my partner he can do it if he wants to & he said he will.... There was 2 customers ahead of us, their boxes were filled to the brim almost couldn't close. Our box was not filled like theirs. The Oxtail were tiny. The cabbage is super sweet. And the Oxtail had no spice to it. Rice and peas average. The cabbage and Oxtail had too much nutmeg/ cinnamon & sweet flavoring. She did thank us for coming and seemed to be there operating alone. But this was our first visit and the other customers said it was their first visit too, but they were clearly being served a different way than we were. The food was too sweet Oxtail were one bite of meat - maybe the smallest I've seen. Patty was good at least... nevertheless not worth the value at all with any drinks from the fridge. Wow!!!! The food is sooooo good. And I dare to say the best Jamaican food I ever had in the city. My experience was wonderful and I appreciate the kind staff and clean atmosphere. I definitely recommend giving them a try. I am positive you’ll thank me later.

To make a long story short, I went here for lunch and I got the curry chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. It wasn't 15 minutes before I was back inside ordering dinner for my entire family. This place is amazing top-notch Jamaican cuisine.

Great service and amazing home cooked jamaican food.

If I lived here I would be a REGULAR. The curry chicken was cooked just right. Falling off the bone and potatoes perfectly cooked. I had to dig my fork in my friends oxtails and babyyyyy I would get that next time too. Well done.

The young cashier and I'm assuming her mom were very welcoming, I was met with a smile. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambiance. It was my first time at this restaurant and I ordered oxtail which was fairly decent. My only concern was how a gentleman seemingly the owner was rushing the cashier to hurry up and take an order from someone he was talking to on the phone while I was trying to place my order. Overall not a bad place for Jamaican food.

First time in, the guy helped me decided what to have. I tried the browned stewed chicken and the fried chicken with rice and beans, cabbage and a plantain. That was the best stewed chicken I've ever had. Nice and fresh and came out fast. Will be going back!!! Check it out!!!
