The value of the food did not match up to the price of the food! To expensive!!!

A pretty good salad, all told, especially the greens, but one would think that when ordering a "chicken bacon ranch" salad that the key ingredient of bacon would be included. I had chicken and I had ranch, but there was no bacon to be found in my salad. Very disappointing.

I went in to Bulldog Pub & Grub today for a small lunch and I was shocked to find that Greeley has been hiding a wonderful little pub from me this whole time. This pub has a good selection of beers which they seem to get mostly from Weldwerks, a locally owned brewery that is very established and worth checking out. I ordered a cuban sandwich, a dish that for some reason is lacking at every other Greeley establishment I've had it at. I was very surprised to have the best cuban sandwich I've had in Greeley. The pork was juicy and very flavorful with definite citrus notes from the mojo. While grilled and not pressed, the Cuban Baguette stayed firm and crunchy even though the juices from the pork were well inundated into it. There was a plentiful amount of ham and dijon mustard that did not slip and slide all over the sandwich while eating it. If more restaurants in Greeley would make cuban sandwiches like this, it would definitely be a more popular dish in the area. Alongside the sandwich I had cajun chips which were good, albiet a bit lacking in quantity, but I did order a regular so that's on me. The decor and nerdy theme of Bulldog Pub & Grub was one of my favorite parts of this restaurant. When walking up to the front door you will be greeted by two stormtroopers and they do a good job of setting the tone for what you are about to see. The interior is heavily adorned with statues of iconic comic book characters, posters of classic sci-fi films, busts of superheroes and action figures. If you look close you'll even see Han Solo cast in carbonite behind the bar! The music was not overly loud, something a lot of other places in the area could learn from. This establishment was clean and the open floor plan allows you to get around easily without having to navigate a maze of tables and patrons. I am sad to say I did not try the pizza which seems to be a local favorite. I was not expecting a major rush from a place so tucked away, but while dining there was a good 20 person line at the front desk for what looked like pay by the slice pizza and that line stayed from the beginning of my meal to the end. And thankfully, the massive line at the front counter did not interfere with the service. My waitress was attentive, very polite and was very knowledgeable of the drink menu. In closing, I will definitely be returning to Bulldog Pub & Grub and I can't wait to try the pizza! Whether you're looking for a good spot to sit down for a while and enjoy some good food with friends or family or you're just looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite on your lunch break, I cannot recommend Bulldog Pub & Grub enough.

Walking in, you know it's the right place as you're greeted by a storm trooper, the Hulk, and Wonder Woman. More scenery follows, and it's all very good. The service was as it should be, with everyone being friendly and attentive. The food. Now that is where the sixth star is needed. The bread was delicious and the Italian Nachos great. The marinara sauce served with the bread and nachos has a familiar flavor, but it's a good flavor to be familiar with. Prices are on-par when you look at the menu, but cross-referencing the amount of food versus the price, and you are getting a very good deal. I'll definitely be back and trying different items.

They don't mention there's a time their kitchen closes and on the way out I had to walk around a guy peeing outside. Update: Learn how to edit your business profile. That must be really embarrassing to not know by now.

Worst service ever experienced. Felt like I was on an episode of Bar Rescue without the rescue. Had to ask twice for a waiter. Took 30 minutes to get a waiter. We had to ask twice if we could get boxes. Took an hour to even get our 2 pizzas and there was hardly even any people inside

Amazing server, the atmosphere was so kewl and different from any place we have ever been. Perfect and I mean the perfect spicey Bloody Mary!!! Prices we astonishingly high for a sandwich. We had 2 sandwiches and pickle chips with a side salad a soda and 2 drinks (BM). And the bill was just that a BILL ($100). Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The fun decor and awesome service (Marissa was great!) make this a great lace to stop for lunch or just a drink. They say the Reuben Sandwich is the best in town and I think they are right. Also had some pizza appetizers that were amazing.

Great food, fun atmosphere and friendly service. I have always gotten good food with a good experience. The Rueben is awesome here!

It's a great place, great people work there.

We’re doing a pizza tour of Greeley, trying to find the very best pie. We ordered garlic breadsticks and a pepperoni pizza for carry out. It was done exactly twenty minutes after ordering. I peeked at the breadsticks when we got in the car and they were SWIMMING in grease. By the time we made it to our place just two miles away, that grease had soaked through both boxes, leaving a three inch circle of grease on my pants, soaking through to the seatbelt, my hoodie and my favorite T-shirt. Talk about a mad dash for napkins. We held out hope that they’d at least be good and make up for the disaster, but they were chewy and tasted like they’d been freshly microwaved for us. The pizza was ok, but also greasy. Our quest for the best pizza in Greeley continues.

Great sandwiches and pizzas, I've been multiple times and been satisfied every time! Super cool atmosphere with a bunch of comic book and movie artifacts. Great customer support when you have questions on a delivery order

We had a surprise 50th party which was supposed to be based around the Daytona 500. They were very accommodating in having TVs turned to the right station - and even when the race was delayed, they reached out to make sure our party was still happening so they'd have the staff to accommodate- I was very impressed that they recalled such details of a party. Preordered food that came out in perfect timing, staff was AMAZING.

My mom, 2 young daughters and I just had lunch here! The food was SO good! We both had the Italian Salad, and shared the Hawaiian appetizer rolls. We definitely found a new spot for our lunch dates! The bartender Nicole was a great server and so nice and accommodating to us! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

It’s really average food wise. Service is pretty slow. It’s a place to hang out and have a beer or two, cool atmosphere but the food is pretty bland and basic

There's not much to the food at all. I got a turkey sandwich. Yepp meat slapped between two pieces of bread, nothing special, no chips fries, or even a pickle was served with it. Just a lonely sandwich on a plate lol. The cool stuff didn't compensate for the lonely sandwich. 😞

If you haven't been to this place, you really need to. Sci-Fi memorabilia everywhere and they usually have entertainment going on regularly. Family Friendly

The food was fantastic! The breadsticks are handmade and addicting. I rarely eat all of a calzone, but I had no choice in this case, it was so yummy. The decor is fun and I catch new things each time I go in. This is our go to pizza and drinks spot in Greeley.

1st time there and it did not disappoint. We had pizza and it was as my kiddos say "on point", definitely will be a return customer.

I actually haven't had the food since the new ownership, but I'll always support small business. I appreciate that they offer a family type atmosphere

Menu could use a overhaul, no sides with your main. Service is alright, nothing bad but could improve. Atmosphere is a perfect geeky/nerdy bar, and it's the main attraction here.

The staff at Bulldog Pub and Grub were so welcoming and friendly. They accommodated our group of 17 and served us very quickly! The food was very good. All around a great place to eat!!

The atmosphere is great and the people very friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food except me. My sandwich arrived with globs of Mayo dripping from the sides. That was all I could really taste so I can't see my way to giving a five star rating. But like I said, everyone else enjoyed and raved about their food.

Live music was decent, staff and clientele were awesome. Too late to try food, but will next time!

Service was great. Little surprised to see half the student body from the nearby high school stop in for lunch. They were fairly loud but well behaved. Kind of hard to have a conversation without shouting, until they left to go back to school. It wasn't the worst, but I think it used worth mentioning. Overall cool place with an interesting aesthetic.

I wanted to leave a positive review, but can’t. I was sent to Bulldog upon the recommendation of a colleague. I ordered an Italian sandwich. The bread was stale, there was one piece of ham, one piece of cheese, and one thin slice of tomato. Are they rationing supplies back in the kitchen? I hope their pizza is better. Steer clear of their Sammie’s!

Too small of a place for terrible drunk karaoke

In a word, "Gross". We were there Saturday July 29th. I ordered a Reuben on sourdough instead of rye bread and the husband ordered the bbq brisket sandwich. When my sandwich arrived it was on rye bread and I just couldn't get past the taste of the thousand island dressing. The menu didn't mention ANYTHING about red onions on the brisket sandwich but had a pile of them right in the center, which ruined it for my husband. Shoddy service by a bartender instead of a waiter/waitress. It's more of a place for a beer than food. Will never make that mistake again. I would give a 0 if I could. Total waste of $40.

came after a baseball game on a Wednesday night (there’s a league next door) only to find the kitchen was closed over an hour early “because we weren’t that busy I guess”. asked if we could bring in food because the kitchen was closed and clean and was informed we could NOT because they offer food…… not when the kitchen closes whenever they please I guess? we were not the only people who came to eat and were met with disappointment of their hours being blatantly wrong for their offerings. better bars in Greeley that honer their hours and are more accepting and accommodating.

Tried this place out. Great calzones! Really neat atmosphere. Star Wars, Marvel, military, police, fire.

Worst ruben ive ever had. Chips stale and inedible. Would give zero stars if i could. I should have refused to pay for that stuff but did anyway. Wont be back.

I wasn’t happy with the menu… For the price of the sandwich it should’ve came with a pickle spear and a bag of chips and a drink… You shouldn’t have to buy the drink…

Fun place! Went for a friend's bday. Didn't have food, but the server was awesome and we had a great time.

So i have to say that i was there the night a " Karen " was there. The bartender and owner were very friendly and attentive to the customers needs as the bar wasnt super busy at the time. " Karen's " friend had pretty much ruined my dinner as i was sitting at the bar next to them. I did not say anything to the 2 Elderly women as i didnt want to cause a scene. I will say that if you mind your own damn business and stop worrying about everyone else... your life will be better. As for being spineless and waiting to say something is wrong on a review after the fact, no business can fix a problem they do not know about until after the fact. If you have a problem use your voice, like an ADULT, and speak up. If you dont like something the establishment does...dont keep going there. Its pretty simple. Ive always had a good time there and the food i have ordered has always come out to expectation or better.

I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes to cash out. I got served and BARELY had my order taken, and now I’m sitting waiting to pay so I can take my (now cold) food home. This used to be a great place, but new owners don’t seem to want to stay open. Best of luck

The bartender wouldn't give me the happy hour orice, I came in 2 minutes before happy hour. She should have said to me if you wait 2 minutes I can give you the ha ppy hour price, but I guess she's not into customer service! No tip for her! You replied back something about me complaining about the music last time I was in; not true, it wasn't me! And it wasn't 15 minutes til, it was 2 minutes before like the cash register ticket said.

I do not write bad reviews but I felt like I couldn’t ignore this one. I ordered first thing in the morning online to have an order picked up at 12 on my lunch, I received a text and an email confirmation that my order was received. I came into the restaurant about 25 minutes late from work, and when I got there to pick up my order they initially acted confused until they checked one of their computers and saw the order. The guy apologized that they were just now seeing it, but then proceeded to tell me that they no longer carried 75% of my order. I was really frustrated because I’ve had great food there in the past but this really made me irritated since being quick and efficient during my lunch break is crucial. It was not great service and does effect my future visit potential.

Ordered food from here and it was the worst food I've ever eaten. The meat in my sandwich was discolored and I didn't trust that it was safe to eat. Save your money and go elsewhere

Double charged for price increase. Not paying $22 for a sandwich with two thin slices with bacon. Manager messed up didn't care and was very rude.

This place has a great atmosphere, and cool decorations. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I have a food allergy and they took it very seriously, which is so refreshing. The food is great! I normally get a tuna melt, on sour dough. Pretty dang tasty! I appreciate that the owner supports our first responders as well.

The food was meh, cost $50 for 2 main dishes, 2 drinks and a side salad. If ranch matters to you this tasted like warm hidden valley which I personally are not a fan of. I had to get my own menu, clean my own table, which is ok I get short staff. There was not a welcome nor any acknowledgment that I was there. Overall everything was too meh.

What a cool, unique place! Food was delicious! This appetizer was completely not what we expected, but it was to die for. We added bacon to the cream cheese puffs, which are made with their flaky pizza dough. Really incredible flavor combinations.

Was at the Bulldog to watch the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship. Even though I was probably the only one there that was interested, the bartender found a TV to put the game on for me to watch! Their salads were filling (I had the smoked brisket) and their calzones were tasty. The bartender was very attentive but not overbearing. I enjoyed my visit very much.

Would love to give this place more stars as the pizza was pretty good. However after walking in for a pick up order and watching the person in the kitchen vaping instead of greeting me as a customer is a huge disappointment. I don’t even think it’s legal in this state.

It was fine. Food was ok, but the roast beef sandwich was cold. Fun drink menu, and lots of cool kitch!

Good food! Unfortunately our order was delayed about an hour but the server was kind and took care of some of our drinks as an apology. The decor is very unique and cool! I do wish they had a larger variety of beer selection. Would likely return.

I have walked through the hallowed doors of Bulldogs since the mascot was a wee little puppy. I've seen it change in design, layout, food, and even owners. Yet I still keep coming back to this establishment. If you've read my other reviews, you'd know I'm quite the critic... I truly enjoy coming here and sitting peacefully without the crazy hustle that those chain places have. So if you have 20 mins to spare, I suggest you come down to Bulldogs for a pizza or a sandwich. Maybe even a beer or two!

It was our first time here, and it was a very cool little place. Our son loved the Lego displays and other memorabilia. We went during lunch hours, and you don't get table service. We ordered a club sandwich and a French dip, with a side of potato salad. As much as they charge, I would expect the potato salad to be homemade. But it's your standard food service quality. As for the sandwiches, we honestly weren't that impressed. The ingredients were fresh, but both sandwiches lacked flavor. If we return, we would try the pizza.

This is a cool Pub! Very eclecticly decorated with lots of Star Wars and super hero's. I had the Itallian Sub. It was good....the bread was very soft! Since they do pizzas, if I got it again, I may ask them to toast the bread, meat and cheese....I think it would have been awesome hot and toasty! My boyfriend got some chicken sandwich, I dont know what it was...it was pressed like a panini. He liked it. I think the sando's with a side salad was 13$... I want to go back and try the pizza.

I absolutely love this company. I work in the industry and the way they operate and fought through these last couple years makes me so proud to be in the same industry. I’ve ordered sandwiches before and they were phenomenal, but tonight we bought pizzas for a family party and I was incredibly under impressed. Good local pizza is my passion and I unfortunately think you should stick to the rest of your menu. The vibe and staff are super laid back and something you don’t find often!

Staff was friendly food was good. FYI - They do not have wait service in the dining room, order at the door and they bring it to your table (unless you're at the bar). The decor is geeky-fun.

My boys loved all of the marvel and Star Wars stuff. We ordered the bulldog pizza and the pepperoni pizza and they were both perfect! Extra cheesy with A LOT of topping. Will definitely be back.

Noticed them on Facebook two years ago. I am not local and when planning a Colorado vacation, they were part of the plan. Absolutely fantastic food and the place is awesome.

Hands down the best pizza I've had in this town and one of my favorites out of all the places I've tried to cross Colorado very nice small inviting atmosphere will definitely be back to have another pizza and try other items on the menu. Don't sleep on this place give it a shot

Frankly, completely unimpressed with the place. 30 bucks for a couple of cold cut sandwiches could have made it home three bucks for a tiny thing of I'm pretty sure a store bought potato salad. No bar tab simple iced teas. I've seen a lot of people rave about this place but I just did not see it.

The food was very disappointing. Not great sandwiches, pizza or drinks. The bartender was too busy taking selfies.

Got a couple items off the food menu. Was not super impressed... Ordered the french dip, grilled chicken sandwich, pretzel rolls, and garlic cheese bread. French dip did not have a lot of meat on it and the bread was cold (not toasted or heated). Pretzel rolls did not seem like pretzel bread and was not very good. Ambiance was pretty cool with a lot of memorabilia.

I went here for a quick bite to eat and beer, while waiting on a friend. I had never been to this town and searched for a bar nearby. I have to say that I was floored by the sheer amount of comic book and Star Wars memorabilia that decorated every nook and cranny of this fine establishment!! I wasn't able to ask the bartender on shift about who procured this amazing collection of cinematic and comic book iconography. The place was busy as heck as it was St. Patrick's Day, Irish revelry, celebration and proclamation was very evident in the air. Despite the singing and commotion between the patrons amongst themselves and with the 2 bartenders; I could tell that this was the Cheers of this town. The environment was very friendly, open and welcoming. I ordered a salad and mozzarella sticks to satiate my appetite. Both of which were very good and I wouldn't even label bar food. The kitchen was an actual kitchen that prepares food orders from open to close. The beer selection wasn't large, but what they did have in stock was well chosen. I would definitely recommend this tucked treasure trove and will make another trek back in the future, although it's anywhere but close to home.
