This place is absolutely AWESOME!!! The drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was super cool. 10/10 will go back!

I recently visited Dragon Forge Cafe in Huntsville, AL, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! I decided to check it out because of their partnership with Haven Comics, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted by the fantasy-inspired decor and an overall magical ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu offered a variety of unique and delicious options. I particularly enjoyed the sandwiches. The drinks were not only tasty but also had a fun, nerdy flair. The cafe itself is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good book or chat with friends. The partnership with Haven Comics is a fantastic idea, and it definitely added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. Overall, Dragon Forge Cafe is a must-visit for anyone in Huntsville, especially if you're a fan of fantasy and comics. I can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings! My rating is low because of their service. The café is cute and inviting but the staff are not at all welcoming. In fact, we got the feeling that they didn't want us there. There wasn't a "thank you "after we ordered. There were only one other party there at the time. When we left, they didn't even say goodnight or thank you.

Great place to relax and have a tea!

The service is excellent! Everyone is friendly and helpful. They go over and above. The coffees and cookies were amazing as well. I am from out of town but I will definitely be back as soon as I can.

First off let me say how beautiful this place is! If you are fantasy nerd, you will love the atmosphere. I had a turkey sandwich and a bag of chips. I wasn't really impressed with it. The sandwich was on the small side for $8. I'm sure the hot meal plates would be even better, I wish the person at the counter had told me before I ordered that the turkey sandwich was grab and go. I probably would've ordered something different if I had known ahead of time. It was after I had paid that she told me it was in a cooler to the right of the counter. They still get 3 stars for kind staff and amazing decor.

Dragon Forge Cafe has the best ambiance of any Cafe I've ever visited. The food is good; sometimes it's a little slow to come out and sometimes a little bland (depends on the day), but the drinks are always top notch. I'm a fan of their hot foods. I always leave happy!

Pretty dope in here. Very much unexpected, even though I saw the pics prior to visiting. Makes me wanna LARP in here,lol I had a seasonal cold coffee Apple Toffee and a chef salad. Salad was OK, but the coffee was refreshing. Will definitely be back just on the vibe alone.

The coffee and atmosphere here are great. I love the seasonal takes on fantasy decor and the coffee shops, commitment to the interest of their clientele. Unfortunately, if you have food, allergies, this is not a great place to go for food. I am allergic to gluten and dairy, and there are exactly 2 dishes I can have, one of which is seasonal. They are both good, but it feels very limiting.

This place is soooooo adorable!! I got a chicken salad sandwich and a manticore latte. The sandwich was good but nothing special, but the latte was delicious, and both were reasonably priced. The atmosphere is just delightful though! Also there was a live harpist playing for the whole 2.5 hours I was there! I stayed working on homework. There is plenty of space and was super cozy for a rainy afternoon. My only tip is that it is within the very large/confusing Lowe Mill complex. I'm from out of town, so it took me forever to find the coffee shop, which I'd seen online. Some better signage would help!

I got a minty dragon drink and it was really good. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and made a special trip by Lowe Mill on the way home from work to try. Well worth it. Great atmosphere as well. Highly recommend.

Food and coffee were alright. The atmosphere though is absolutely amazing. I ordered a golden dragon latte and the tavern stew. They get their coffee from Kaffeeklatsch.

There are limited choices in terms coffee stores in Huntsville. This was a bit of a challenge to find. It is hidden in an old building that reminds me of an old factory. They put many stores in the site - Dragon's Forge was in one corner.

I get over-stimulated in here, but I love grabbing a fairy tea to go and roaming the less chaotic halls. Everyone who works here has been lovely!!

Very cool and unique spot. Fuel your caffeine craving with delicious teas and coffees and enjoy a nice slice of cake/bread or one of their tasty Sammies. The environment is very chill and done up in a way that anyone that loves fantasy would just fall in love. Staff is super friendly and they have cool merch(*^。^*)10/10 recommend 👌

A greatly themed cafe! This cafe is also placed in a really nice renovated marketplace for artists but makes the cafe a little confusing to find. The coffee here was good but a little too sugary. The emphasis was definitely not on the beans but was still good. It’s nice to see Huntsville has some diverse cafes as well.

We really loved it! My daughter had her birthday party here and everyone seemed to have a good time. The setting is of course that of an Inn from a fantasy novel like Wheel of Time or Dragon Lance. The food was great, we had a party package with an assortment of different flavor teas but the also have flavored iced drinks and coffee hot and cold. It came with chicken salad and ham and cheese sandwiches and muffins and cookies of several flavors too. Service is good but you order from the bar with limited table service. They seemed ready to help anyway they could and came too our table every few minutes to see if we needed anything, I don't mean to make it seem like it was self serv, they had several waitresses checking on tables. Overall great place, we all loved it and want to go back soon. However... Park in the front lot and go in there or you will have a LONG walk! But even that's nice because there are probably a dozen different shops with everything from pottery to paintings to costumes to.... You name it. So if you're up for a little walking and exploring the definitely go the long way. It's fun! 😊👍

Spell binding, enchanting, fun, and cozy. First time and I am wowed with it. The staff are kind and enjoyable, as well. This is what happens when you allow creativity and good system to flow together. The food is amazing, as well. I also like that I gaze into the city by a cozy window. It is family friendly, as well.

Exceptional service, great atmosphere, and worth the visit!

Such a cozy, beautifully designed haunt. I love the theme, it's so creative and detailed. A perfect place to work on a computer or chill with friends, and it's pretty roomy! I was so glad to see their numerous tea options in addition to coffee and pastries. They have soy milk as a dairy free option at no additional cost. I'll definitely be back! Have to taste all the teas! (Oh, and one of the barista's was in costume which was super cute!) The location listed on Google maps is misleading, we had to walk around for a while to find it. It's on the 2nd floor, not the Barking Dog side, at the end of the hall opposite the back parking lot. 😊 Update: 2 years later and this is still my favorite cafe of all time! Such a wonderful place to hang out with friends, the employees are so nice (thanks for the pup cup!), and the food and drinks are tasty and at a great price point. Love you! 😘

What a great immersive experience with great drinks, coffee, and food. We were visiting Huntsville for a week and we made it a point to visit the cafe twice before heading back home. Made us feel like we were on a quest and making a stop in our adventure for a mana and health recharge! We had the soups and various iced teas, lemonades, and iced coffees. We were a little bummed they were out of XL Dragon's Forge Cafe tshirts, but we did get other little knickknacks. Definitely a unique experience that was completely enjoyed.

Lots of unique and classic drink choices with some lunch options as well. Good, fast, accurate service. Awesome atmosphere.

The staff is cool and the food and drinks all have neat names. Love the events the host and the vibe is just what u need. Everyone should at least go once and check them out.

Love the Ranger’s Feast and the Strawberry Magic Cake! The sandwiches are always hot, quick, and delicious. When you’re super busy, the grab-and-go case always has something for you!

Dragon's Forge is a neat little gem of a place in Huntsville. It's tucked away on the second floor of Lowe Mill, and the decor will transport you to a magical place. I've had everything from the coffee to the tea, from the sweets to a sandwich and salad, and I've never been disappointed. If you're looking for a place that is definitely NOT run of the mill, you absolutely must try Dragon's Forge. You'll be glad you did!

The best cafe in Huntsville! Fantastic food, amazing staff, and a really unique, creative and immersive atmosphere. Tavern Stew is the best stew I've had outside of homemade, and they have the best pastries! Definitely give this place a try, you're sure to love it.

This place makes my geeky little heart incredibly happy. Came for the coffee and pastries, stayed for the atmosphere (Skyrim inn music, anyone?), homemade polyhedral dice, and live D&D game running in the background. The staff was wonderfully friendly, the atmosphere was phenomenal, the food was perfect. Highly recommend the Muddy Dragon milkshake, I can't wait to get my claws on another!

I love this place! My recommendation is the fairy garden iced tea and any of their sandwiches. My friend took me out and booked a tea table and it was awesome. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. Love the decor and love going here and bringing my laptop to study or draw. 10/10

Great atmosphere but not a great selection of food. Plus my daughter is pescatarion and there wasn't anything she could eat. My sandwich was on plain white bread 🥪. For the price it could at least been on fancier bread 🍞. With the price being kinda high and the food not that great I don't really recommend this place UNLESS you want high tea. Then yes go here. They have a high tea ☕ service. But I haven't had this so I don't know how fancy it is.

Did the tea service as a Christmas present for my niece and daughter. The girls had a blast and everyone was wonderful! Thank you for making our girls feel like princesses!

This one of the best and coolest coffee shop I have ever been too. It’s a nice quiet little peace of heaven. So glad I came through. There coffee is so good and there scones looked amazing. Puts Starbucks and Duncan way at the bottom of my list
